Hi everyone! Its been so long since I've wrote a FanFic for you all but I'm back for at least this one! I'm essentially starting from new again so please bear with me if it's a slow start. This story, as per my last one, focuses on the world of boarding school Juliet but with a twist.

Juliet Persia

November 12th 201-

Those eyes. Why with those eyes? Nobody has ever looked at me with those eyes before. All of my efforts, our fights, our screaming matches. All of our shared experiences… I thought he was with me on this. How? How did it end like this?

Juliet Persia

November 13th 201-

I guess its true what they say. With great power comes great responsibility. But what happens if the people in power don't use it responsibly? Why? Out of everyone, why? It was meant to be. Clearly it was how could I be so mistaken?

Proceeding to complete the latest entry in her personal journal, Juliet slowly closed the book, the only facet trusted to harbour her feelings. Gently leaning into the rustic yet refined chair that adorned her pristine white table, she sighed, almost relieved that her trusted confidant was an ever-present in her life. Her body, which had succumbed unto to pressure to maintain the façade of delight on behalf of her friend, began to slowly collapse over the desk. Her arms, usually tainted from battle laid soft, covered by a thin veil of silk, protecting her face from cold marble top of her desk as she lay feeling the first longings of sleep overcoming her weary mind. It was over. All hope for her first love was vanished, her longing from afar would have to continue.

1 month prior

"The established nation of Touwa and the principality of the West, two nations whom for decades were bitter rivals if not warring combatants, had come to develop a 'peaceful' solution to the war with a co-ed boarding school system implemented as a sign of 'peace and prosperity between the two nations", Airu Inuzuka calmly uttered into the microphone addressing the silent hall of 'Black Dogs'. "I expect that there will be no problems caused by you", his eyes focused on his younger brother but seemingly addressed the expansive hall. Stepping away from the podium the weekly meeting was over.

Romio Inuzuka, known as the 1st year 'leader' of the Black Dogs, knew his older brother was not a force to be reckoned with. However, despite this knowledge fresh within his mind, the appearance of his trusted ally and friend Hasuki along with other Black Dog students beckoned an opportunity to cause mayhem against the White Cat ranks.

"Hey bro, I think we both know you're not scared by that brother of yours", teasingly said Hasuki. Her short stature and developed figure lead to underestimation by numerous White Cat students throughout the tenure of the conflicts between the groups.

"Absolutely not", Inuzuka lied, the fear he had for his brother was well warranted; the years of domineering over him from Airu was well within his mind.

"Come on then, were going to gatecrash that White Cat meeting before the it ends", Hasuki half shouted rallying the Black Dogs with her.

The collective group charged through the vestibule, of the dorm house they had called home for this past year, into the expansive courtyard adorning the pillared frontage of the dorm. The dorm itself was a traditionally inspired building, fronted pillars supported the vast roof with an expansive garden outspread across the front of the building. The only discernible differences between the black dogs and white cat dorm are the respective coat of arms and the coloured quartz of each buildings design. Located adjacently to each other, a 8 foot marble wall adorned with gold plated decorative spiked was the only physical wall between the two groups of students.

As the Black Dog group filtered through the almost compound like gates of the courtyard, Inuzuka and Hasuki rounded up the bunched up 'foot soldiers' of the Black Dog army.

"Listen up boys!", Hasuki ordered, "Those White Cat sissys are about to finish their meeting, we are not gonna let that happen peacefully are we".

The group of students roared in excitement. Hasuki, smiling at Inuzuka with anticipation, was expecting a concrete plan of what to do now. Inuzuka always liked this about Hasuki, her dichotomy of character between the upbeat and excitable friend of Inuzuka and the supporting leader of the Black Dogs.

His mind quickly snapped back to the moment at hand.

"Right. We're going to storm into there", he motioned toward the pristine white building infront of the group, "once we're in… cause mayhem!". He shouted leading to a cacophony of shouts and cheers. The horde of students, numbering in the high tens, charged towards the dorm of the white cats, barraging through the courtyard with a single focus on the front doors of the White Cat dorm. A seemingly orange glow caught the eye of Inuzuka to his immediate right.

Peeling off from the main horde focusing on the dorm itself. Inuzuka slowly approached a lone bench supporting a frail bodied female student seemingly preoccupied in reading a gold embroidered leather book. Slowly stepping up to the white cast iron bench with wooden padded slats as seat, the figure on the bench began to turn around to face Inuzuka head on, placing her book down softly beside her.

The figure began to appear clearer to Inuzuka, the famous white blazer adorned with red trimmings around the collar and buttons, her pristine white hair flowing down to but not exceeding her shoulders. The reduced stature of her body allowed for her clothes to sit perfectly on her. As she had fully turned her body to face him only one eye of hers was visible, a clear yellow bordering on light orange tint filled her pupil. A light almost smirk appeared onto her face aimed at Inuzuka.

Her mouth peered open, saying something.

"What was that?", he said almost instinctively.

"K…el", the girl replied.

"What? Can you speak up?", Inuzuka asked almost stuttered.

"Kneel".

The word repeated in Inuzuka's head for almost a second before the girl had spoken again.

"You are in the presence of a princess. Kneel", she ordered.

Inuzuka in an instinctive rush laughed at her demand. Being a White Cat was bad enough but a Princess was too much for him to handle.

"Sorry your highness", he jested as he mockingly began to kneel before soon rising.

He looked up expecting the tell-tale signs of frustration he was looking for but was greeted with a sight that brought a slight twinge in his chest. That formerly collected smirk on her face was replaced with wide smile creeping across that doll-like face, her eyes had widened slightly and her hand had raised up to her face cupping her cheek.

"No-one speaks to me like that. I guess that's why she likes you huh?", the woman uttered.

"What?", Inuzuka asked immediately.

Just as Inuzuka had poised that question another more familiar voice came shouting from behind.

"Hey Bro come on we…", she stopped midsentence upon seeing the scene unfolding in front of her.

Hasuki quickly regained her stance and shouted "Come on! Now Inuzuka". He noticed the wide array of White Cat students flocking behind her.

Running quickly to rejoin his comrade he took a quick glance back towards the student whom he only knew as 'the princess', the smile still lingering on her face she slyly waved almost teasingly at him scurrying away. Another student more known to Inuzuka approached her. Juliet Persia. All he could see as he ran was a scowl appearing on Juliet's face as he rounded the corner of the courtyard.

Entering the Black Cats dorm, Hasuki stopped just in front of Inuzuka blocking his path, she had grabbed his arm and lead him over to a more secluded area of the vestibule.

"Where were you bro? We got ruined inside there", she ensured Inuzuka understood that he had upset her through the disappointment painted across her face.

Inuzuka found himself lacking an excuse.

'Why didn't he join the Black Dogs? Why was he so interested in winding that woman up?'

Before Inuzuka could manage to find a way to talk himself out of this Hasuki interrupted.

"You must have been dealing with the Princess, huh?", she remarked seemingly calming down and accepting her own excuse.

"Yeah – she's a handful, I was more bewildered than anything who actually is she?".

"You don't know the princess of the West bro? You really need to brush up on your knowledge. Her name is Chartreux and best friend of Juliet… you know the girl who causes us so much grief", Hasuki mentioned a little gleefully seeming to cheer herself up at Inuzuka's expense.

"Got you. So don't mess around with her too much?", Inuzuka said whilst smirking allowing Hasuki to see the humour in his statement.

"Well I never said that", she wagged her finger jokingly. "Just know she is used to getting her own way so… be careful".

Slightly confused at the conversation he thought not to press as to ensure he wouldn't agitate Hasuki any further today.

'I guess that's why she likes you', that sentence flashed through his mind once more.

The two upper echelons of the Black Dogs worked their way through the internal courtyard of the dorm room. Two staircases protruded from the middle of the room going both left and right, the wood handles having the varnish and allure being worn away over time and usage yet still functional. In the upper left quadrant of the dorm, the female dorms filled a corridor holding around 70 students from 1st to 4th year students with the right holding the 80 or so male students of the same age range. As Hasuki and Inuzuka reached this separation of routes the two split each retiring to their adorning dorm.

"See ya later bro", Hasuki smiled and waved back at her comrade, a slight blush of warmth crept across her face.

"See ya Hasuki", Inuzuka returned noting the joyful nature of his compatriot and the positive effect it had on his mood.

Returning to his dorm room Inuzuka noted the incessant need to clear his desk and began to settle himself to lie down. The wooden framed bed supporting a firm spring mattress offered a safe haven for the weary bodied student. But sleep appeared to allude him, the conversation he had with the Chartreux repeating on him.

'I guess that's why she likes you'

'Chartreux… who is she talking about?'

Hi, thank you all so much for reading part one! I hope it was an enjoyable read. I know it's a little bit of a slow start, but it should pick up a bit more in the next part.
