Dusted 38: The Fox and The Hood: Lingering Touch
Wow…what a short but impactful chapter to right.
Not sure what was up with me but I was super hyped for you all to see this one. Just so much fun to write.

Ruby felt like her lungs were being crushed. It was impossible to calm down and take a breath, in no small part to the fact she was pacing around the apartment so quickly she couldn't stop herself. She said she would spend the day cleaning up the apartment or vegging out on the couch. Watch a new episode of her favorite show or continue on their favorite game. But nothing she did was even close to taking her mind off things.
Like when she had to give blood and she was all too conscious of the needle in her arm. She couldn't ignore the only thing on her mind right now.
So instead, she was walking around the apartment. It might have been more accurate to say she was jogging around every room to try and distract herself. At this rate, she was gonna get tired and keel over. Taking a moment to catch her breath, she walked over to the couch and stared down at it. This was-
"Mmmm." Ruby moaned into his mouth as their lips melded and their tongues coiled around each other in the most fevered kiss they'd ever shared. The necessity of staying warm and sharing heat mixed with the desire to taste and feel the other as much as possible. She flinched and gasped feeling his hands tightly squeeze her rear as she ran her hands through his hair and gripped onto it tightly.
He pulled her in and twisted around, slamming her back into the couch cushions and bearing over her with his full weight. She let out a gasp followed by a breathy moan, getting excited from the feeling of his greater weight pressing down on her as they-
She flinched and returned to reality. Ruby blushed staring at the couch before quickly turning away and trying not to think back to that cold day when they had tried to keep each other warm and then let themselves get out of hand. It seemed like such a logical move to get close together and scrounge up any heat they could.
The problem was even after they realized that it was starting to get warm again that didn't stop them. And they still found themselves clawing and grasping at every inch of each other.
She walked by the little island they sat at when they ate-
"Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah!" Ruby moaned and screamed with every fierce movement she felt. She crossed her arms and rested her head against them where they pressed into the marble counter as she tried to catch her breath. But she flinched as his grip on her waist got even tighter and he went back to-
"Man, we eat here." How could they be so focused that they forgot such a crucial fact? It kinda ruined the idea of eating meals when she had to think about the both of them getting it on over the counter like that. Maybe she could give it a clean to make sure? She bent down to the cupboards-
"O-Oh," Ruby moaned while her sweaty back pressed against the cupboard. Her legs kicked out and tried to find purchase as she felt spasms and bolts run through her legs and into her toes. As she struggled to catch her breath, her hands settled on the blond locks and furry ears of the head buried in her lap, "N-Naruto~."
She felt his tongue plunge-
Ruby slammed the door of the cabinet shut, her face bright red and steam nearly rushing out of her ears. She - uh - she forgot about that one. The Huntress bristled and gently stomped her foot, "Man, why is Naruto such a horn dog?" She made her way around the island, "I swear he never got tired-"
"R-Ruby, I don't know how much more I got." He pleaded to his lover seated in his lap, "I-I think I need a drink. Something to cool off."
"I-I'm not stopping you."
"But I can't get up while you're here."
She stopped, looking back at him with a cheeky smile, "We both know you can stretch your Aura to get it." She started shaking her hips and heard him groan, "Besides I'm just at the good part."
She lifted herself and dropped down-
"O-Oh yeah." Ruby scratched her cheek, "I did get a little carried away. B-But it was just once!" She defended to no one as she turned to the couch, "After that it was just-"
"Ruby."
She opened her eyes and looked up. He looked so exhausted yet still enthralled by what she was doing. Something about it stirred her chest in a way she couldn't quite describe. But it made her want to keep going.
She giggled as she ran her tongue up his-
…
Okay…she might have been just as bad.
But it wasn't their fault that it was cold and they needed to be warm and they were so good at sex! If it wasn't supposed to be so intoxicating it wouldn't have been that amazing! I-It was-
…
Ruby fell back into the couch with her face in her hands. She could only let out a quiet sigh of defeat as the crushing feeling returned to her heart. Small tears started to build in the corners of her eyes as she thought about what this meant.
It was fun. It was fulfilling. It was everything she ever wanted. And this…this would…c-could-
"Hey!" She nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard the door open. She dried her eyes and stood up as Naruto walked into the room from the hall with a big grin, "I'm home! And guess who aced that job? You get one chance and no hints!"
She giggled at his excitement, "Was it you?"
"Nailed it!" He quickly put his bag aside and slid up to her, circling his arms around her and gently kissing the top of her head, "Ah, I missed you!"
"You were only gone for a few days."
"Didn't you miss me?"
"Heh, of course I did."
"I knew you would." He smiled and gently rubbed noses with her before he made his way to the kitchen and stove, "So, I got news about a job opening up with the same company next week, but it requires a pair. I offered up and we got it!"
"Naruto-"
"So until then, I think we should relax and enjoy ourselves. Hit up the shops for mods on our weapons. Or maybe go see a movie?"
"N-Naruto-"
"I'm thinking of steak tonight. Do you want some of that strawberry drizzle on yours like you like-"
"Naruto!" He looked up and she stood to the side, looking down nervously, "I-I've been waiting for you to come home all day."
"R-Right. Sorry, I got a little carried away." He put away the pan and came over to capture her in a tight hug again, "I'm sorry. It felt like I wasn't gone for very long this time so I…" He looked down and saw she still couldn't meet his eyes, "Ruby? What's wrong?"
It clutched her heart. She felt like she couldn't breathe. She couldn't say a word…
"I'm late."
And even after she said it the tightness only got worse.
"Late? For what?"
…
"O-Oh."
His face froze in a moment of complete shock as she leaned into her chest. His arms gently wrapped around her as they stood in silence and let the news sink in. Despite himself…his ears twitched eagerly atop his head.

I'm sure lots of people called it from the last chapter but still…this was fun to write. Especially the part where Ruby realizes how horny she can be.
Man, I damn near wrote this as a Lemon. Might do it one day, but not today. Today…just take this little news and hope for the best!
