Hero Academia: Island of Giant Insects

I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here our heroes are facing an unexpected crisis…but…something more unexpected is about to take place…now that Class 1-B is slated to have their own encounter with GIANT INSECTS…

Ch. 5: Suzumebachi no hisuterī
Elsewhere within the uncharted island, the scene shows that the Class 1-A members are assembled at a certain area, and there it is shown that the Class 1-A members dug a grave to bury Hagakure's already-shriveled corpse, and they all agreed that rather than leave her body here and let giant insects feast on her dead body, which everyone agreed that this is for the best in order to uphold and honor her memory.
Kirishima, Sato, Shoji and Iida used makeshift digging tools, mostly thick branches from trees to dug a grave, and as Kirishima laid Hagakure's corpse onto the grave, Sato and Shoji began to cover her dead, shriveled body as the rest of Class 1-A looks on, as they are still in denial that they lost a classmate and good friend.
The remaining girls, which are Yaoyorozu, Uraraka, Asui, Jiro and Ashido, were crying aloud as Hagakure's body is being covered with soil, while Iida, Midoriya, Kirishima, Sero, Koda, Kaminari, Ojiro and Aoyama were in tears as Sato made the FINAL TOUCHES before placing a MAKESHIFT CROSS, made from two tree branches, on top of the grave.
"Toru!"
"Toru-chan!"
"Toru!"
"Why? Why Toru-chan?"
"This can't be happening!"
"Why did she have to get killed?"
"This can't be happening!"
"This is supposed to be a field trip! Why did this end up like this?!"
Todoroki and Bakugo were silent yet they too were in disbelief at the fact that Hagakure was killed right before their eyes and were unable to save her due to their Quirks being mysteriously erased, and there Todoroki told his classmates that they need to get going and find a place to rest and spend the night, which the others reluctantly nodded in agreement.
"Okay…"
"Okay…"
"Okay…"
"Okay…"

"Okay…"
And so Class 1-A decided to leave the area as they know that they can't stay here due to the dangers it posed, and there the remaining students reluctantly leave the makeshift grave behind, as they are now thinking of how to survive the night and how to escape this island, unaware of the dangers the Class 1-A students face, as encountering three GIANT swallowtail butterflies are only the beginning.
The remaining Class 1-A students are now composed of the following, which are:
- Izuku Midoriya
- Katsuki Bakugo
- Shoto Todoroki

- Tenya Iida
- Momo Yaoyorozu

As the remaining students continued their march, they went at it for a minute before Aoyama and Mineta shrieked in terror, and Iida urged the two to calm down and asked what is wrong, and there Mineta pointed to the sandy ground, where the rest saw a severed torso there, with no head and limbs; its internal organs taken away and is already in a state of decomposition.
Jiro hugged Yaoyorozu as she was horrified by the gruesome scene, while Todoroki checked the torso out, and after a few minutes his emotions were threatening to unmask itself as he became worried, and there Iida asked what he deduced, and there he told Iida what he deduced so far:
- The body was disemboweled;
- Its limbs were cut, not by any bladed weapons, but through biting means;
- There were puncture points
Iida adjusted his glasses as he is becoming concerned, and asked Todoroki to elaborate his finding, saying that such findings are like that of horror movies, but Todoroki maintained his words and said that while he initially refused to believe this, he cannot deny what he found out, and says that while there may be more to this than meets the eye, the body found would give away clues.
"And that's your findings?"
"So far."
"You…can't be serious…"
"…"
"Sorry, but that's what I figured out."
"…"
"You saw what happened to Hagakure. So expect something like that to happen later on."
"…"
By then Aoyama went ahead and peeked at a corner, where he stared wide-eyed and motions the others to take a look, and there the others took a peek and the members of Class 1-A stared wide-eyed in disbelief at what they just witnessed:
- A few teenagers are running;
- Some are caught by what appeared to be a group of GIANT-SIZED praying mantises;
- Some of the teenagers caught were screaming as their arms and legs are being ripped off by the giant mantises via their scythe-like arms;
- Some had their tummies being ripped up and their internal organs being eaten by the giant mantises
Uraraka stared wide-eyed in horror while Jiro buried her head onto Yaoyorozu's chest as she was horrified at what she saw, Aoyama, Kaminari, Mineta and Ashido staggered back at the horror scene that they just witnessed, while Kirishima and Bakugo willed themselves to get over their shock, as they watched helplessly at seeing the teenagers getting eaten alive by the giant mantises.
Iida himself was at loss of words as Todoroki watched the scene, and there he tells him that this is what his deduction tells him, and now the answer has been revealed, and the Class 1-A president could not believe what he just saw and wondered aloud how this is even possible, which Todoroki himself said that even he himself could not believe how such a thing become a reality.
"Sorry, Iida…"
"…"
"This is what my instincts tell me…"
"This…how…"
"What you saw just now matches the findings on the torso we saw."
"This…can't be…"
"You have no recourse but to accept, Iida."
"…"
Aoyama suggested that they find a hiding place for now as charging in would be a bad idea, which Midoriya asked if he is sure, and Aoyama said that at this point there is nothing they can do right now, as they are Quirkless at the moment.
Midoriya is about to rebut, as he felt compelled to do something but Todoroki said that Aoyama has a point and that for now they need to find a place to hide and formulate a plan on what to do if they encounter those giant mantises.
"Aoyama is right, Midoriya."
"But…"
"We have no choice."
"Todoroki…"
"We have to ignore it and find a safe place. Then we formulate a plan."
"…"
"Trust me on this, Midoriya."
"…"
With most of the classmates in agreement, Midoriya was silently outvoted and he opted to do as Todoroki suggests, and the Class 1-A members quietly moved away from the scene as the screams of the teenagers can still be heard as they are being eaten alive.

The scene shifts somewhere at an uncharted island, where it shows that Class 1-B members are navigating their way around, unaware that Class 1-A are also in this island, and right now Kendo is leading the group as they try to navigate their way around so as not to get lost as there's a possibility that a villain might show up and ambush the students.
The Class 1-B students seen here are together and staying close together so that they won't end up getting lost by accident. The students shown are the following:

Being the class representative, Kendo urged her classmates to calm down but stay alert, as they are Quirkless at the moment and that there is a possibility that they might encounter some unexpected situation, like there might be villains here, and told everyone to be prepared as they are now facing a life-or-death situation due to the current circumstances they are in, which the rest of Class 1-B nodded in agreement.

As Class 1-B continue their trek, they came across with a few teenagers who are on the run, and they are terrified as hell as they are running for their lives, and there Kendo reached out to the terrified teenagers and urged them to calm down and tell Class 1-B what is going on, though the teenager was so terrified that all they can think of is to escape the island.
"..."

"…"
"Come on…what happened?"
"…"
"…"
"…"
"Please tell us…what's going on?"
Suddenly they heard buzzing sounds, and the teenagers became terrified, and they had the look for worry, as they realized that danger is fast approaching, and tells Class 1-B that the giant hornets are closing in and urged them to find a place to hide as escaping them is slim and near to zero.
Class 1-B blinked their eyes at hearing the terrified teenagers say GIANT HORNETS, which Kendo asked if she knows what she is saying, which the terrified teenager reiterated that she is telling the truth.
To show her point, the terrified teenager showed to Class 1-B the picture she took on her smartphone, and everyone stared at the picture, and they all stared wide-eyed in shock and disbelief, as the picture shows that the terrified teenagers' classmates are being attacked by giant hornets, and Kendo could not believe what she just saw.
Tokage herself could not believe this as well and asked the terrified teenager if she is serious about this, which the teenager nodded and said that the picture proves it and told Class 1-B that they are in grave danger and they need to find a place to hide, saying that once caught there is no escape. Kodai tried to calm her down but the teenager slowly became hysterical.
"Wait…"
"Please…we need to get out of here!"
"Calm down…"
"I can't! we're in danger!"
"Whoa…calm down, Sato…"
"Please! Help us!"
"Easy there…"
"Kodai!"
By then, a GIANT hornet showed up, and is ready to swoop down upon seeing Class 1-B, and out of protective nature, Tokage shoved Kodai to the ground, but she herself is caught by the giant hornet and is being taken away, and there Tokage screamed in terror.
Kodai was shocked and terrified at seeing her friend being taken away, and so was Kendo, seeing her good friend taken by the giant hornet, and there the Class 1-B president attempted to go after her, but is restrained by Awase and Tetsutetsu, telling her to calm down, but Kendo said that Tokage needs help.
"Setsuna!"
"Hold on!"
"Don't!"
"Let me go! That thing has my friend!"
"We can't act too rashly!"
"That bug's three times bigger than your usual size!"
"I can't let Setsuna die!"
"Calm down!"
"We can't rush in like that!"
"Let me go! I need to help Setsuna!"

Hope you liked this chapter, as Class 1-A are trying to come to terms with the fact that they lost Hagakure, who was killed right before their eyes, and they had to make an improvised and impromptu funeral for their fallen classmate, as they realized that they can't just leave her body behind out in the open.
And now they just encountered some GIANT praying mantises, which the class are in a further state of disbelief and now they would have to figure out how to survive the day and night without getting caught and turn into bug food…
Class 1-B are now navigating within the sane island, and now they get their first encounter with GIANT INSECTS, in which giant HORNETS appeared and took Tokage when it was targeting Kodai.
Kendo is now determined to save her classmate and would do whatever she could…
