Hiya everyone, author here…

This is a subpar chapter that is pending rewrite. The character building and emotional stuff isn't being handled well, but I can't proceed without writing down the bare minimum of what's happening.

Life is catching up to me right now. I'm getting anxiety and I also have prep work to do to prepare for university admission/future pathways, and this chapter reflects it. Sadly, I can't delay this any longer, otherwise you chaps will think I'm dead, and I'll never be able to start planning for the next chapter.

Sincere apologies for disappointing you all. I promise to make it up to you guys when I get the chance.

Also, someone else mentioned that the gods already knew of Persia's reincarnation. I genuinely forgot about that…I'm stupid, but I have a plan to wrap that up. Might be a bit forced though so bear with me.

Also, apparently we broke 10K views, thank you all for reading through this work and supporting this story.

Anyway, enjoy the story!

Tucking a strand of hair behind Persia's ear, she bent down and kissed her lightly on the forehead.

"I love you, Persia Hallie Jackson."

"Even if you don't love me back."

The hunt was cloaked in a miserable atmosphere thanks to Apollo's idiocy and Zeus' wretched plans.

Their new Lieutenant, Persia, hustled around the camp all day, doing chores, cooking for the hunters, training them, and finally going on night patrols.

Every time a hunter saw her, she'd have a smile on her face.

It didn't take much effort to see the unbridled pain in her eyes, the obviously forced smile that was on her lips.

Thalia, Persia's cousin, followed her around, helping her out in chores. Both quickly grew close, acting like true siblings, working with each other through harmless banter.

Still, hunters would notice their lieutenant sneaking longing glances at her cousin…as if she had wanted something more.

As for their mistress, she was also seen around camp, joining in on their training sessions, chatting with her hunters, and acting like a kind yet stern mother to her hunters.

Neither of them were seen in the same place, at the same time.

This frustrated the hunt immensely. Finally, everyone was reunited, but for some reason the mood plummeted even lower than before.

Just…why?

Why couldn't they be just one perfect family, doing their usual thing? Why couldn't they just be one big, cheery group of hunters (and maybe man haters) and live their lives?

Of course, every one of them knew why. They just didn't want to face it.

And so, days passed, turning into weeks. The hunters hunted, moved locations, hunted some more and then changed locations again. During the trips, Thalia would be by Lady Artemis' side while Persia took the rear.

They wouldn't come into contact with each other during the whole trip.

The hunters were frustrated. Why couldn't they just be with each other? Why couldn't they just leave their relationship behind?

Did they reunite both of them just to have them suffer a harder heartbreak?

Because it felt like it.

Persia was slightly annoyed as she sat in her tent, eyes wide as she tried to sleep.

She needed sleep. Her brain was like sludge after days of no rest, and bags began appearing under her eyes. Yet, she couldn't sleep.

Rolling over again for the umpteenth time, she let out a frustrated sigh as she massaged her temples.

Why, just why, did she have to be so careless? Why did she give Apollo an opportunity to have her and Artemis separate?

She shifted in her bunk again.

Above her, Thalia groaned. "Persia…" she muttered sleepily, "stop moving…"

"Sorry, Thalia," she sheepishly replied, "I just can't sleep."

"Artemis on your mind again?"

"Yeah…"

She didn't see Thalia's eyes flash with brief sadness, but she did hear Thalia sit up and climb down her top bunk. "Persia," Thalia says, sitting down on her bedside, "don't think about it. Apollo had Milady swear, and if she breaks it…I don't know what the consequences are. Apollo is the god of prophecies. He would have made her swear this for a reason."

She sighed. "Thals…I know, but…I can't not think about it. Artemis is the only thing I have outside of you and Zoë-" Thalia's eyes lightened "-and it's tearing me apart to not be with her. I feel her, she's so close, yet so far out of reach…"

Tears form in the corners of her eyes as she tries to speak. "A-and I just want her so b-bad, I just want her to h-hug me, t-to tell m-me everyth-thing is alright, b-but I can't…"

Thalia hugged her cousin tightly as she cried into her shoulder. Sobs Wracked her lithe body as she cried, soaking Thalia's shirt with wetness as Thalia hugged her tightly. Her cousin's touch was comforting, but not as comforting as Artemis'. She just wanted peace, comfort…

"Do you wanna go to the campfire?" Thalia quietly asked, and she nodded. "M-maybe."

Thalia grinned lightly. "Perce, you know you want to watch the campfire burn."

"Maybe I do." She said, a small smile forming on her tear-stricken face.

"C'mon, let's not wait any longer."

With that, both of them walked out of their tent and towards the campfire.

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

Artemis was having her worst weeks ever in her immortal life.

After being forcefully separated from her lover, she was forced to be stuck with her.

Everything would have been fine if she was just another mortal. Shoo her away, tell her to not come back and avoid heartbreak. Mortals were resourceful that way, and she was confident that she could live and survive without her. Eventually, they'd get over it.

Of course, it was just her luck that Persia had pledged herself to her and her hunt. While she could also order her to just leave, she couldn't order her entire hunt to just exist without her. Surely, they'd get mauled to bits and then she'd have no more sisters in arms…just because she couldn't handle a heartbreak.

But in that sentence lay the truth. She couldn't handle this heartbreak.

With every passing moment, she felt like her heart was being slowly gauged apart. An empty void was growing bigger and bigger, and she knew only one thing could satisfy her.

But that was out of her reach.

She was trying so hard, so hard to keep herself from running up to Persia and hugging the hades out of her.

Why?

Simple. Her father was the king of gods, and by extent, held power over oaths and the Styx. Every oath that an immortal swore would be under his jurisdiction, and she couldn't even think of her love getting punished because she decides to break her oath to her brother.

Still, she felt like she would soon be going mad. Aphrodite had explained the nature of their bond to her, and after dodging some solid memorabilia and silvery projectiles lobbed her way out of sheer anger, the love goddess finished her explanation and she was beyond stunned.

Apparently, their attraction wasn't just an ordinary bond. Not even fated soulmates-Persia's soul still had a 'red string of fate' connected to her, but she, on the other hand, didn't, and was never expected to have one. She was a virgin goddess for a reason…well, up until now. Until she was soul bonded with Persia…

With soul chains, no less.

Sitting on her bed, missing the usual warmth of Persia snuggling up to her, she curled her fists into balls as she attempted to keep her anger in check.

Why did this have to happen to her?

Why did this have to happen to Persia?

Didn't Persia suffer enough already?

She was angry at her brother, her father, the fates…anything she could think of.

Just why did they have to separate?

Her anger, her emotions, were getting more and more erratic. She wanted to control them but she couldn't.

Gritting her teeth, she held her anger in check and narrowly avoided sending a fist flying into her bedpost. "Damn you, father!"

A massive lightning bolt materialized inside her tent as she jumped back in shock. "Daughter, you were saying?" A bearded, sculpted male figure said as the lightning dissipated, overcharging the air and emitting the smell of ozone. His lightning blue eyes danced with mirth and glee as he looked at her.

She narrowed her eyes at the lightning god. "Father," she spat, "what are you doing here."

"Oh, just checking on my favorite daughter. Can I not?"

"You lost that right when you took Persia away from me." She said, her tone deathly calm and steely.

"Daughter." Zeus' face became stoney. "Persia was not meant to be with you at all. Accept it and move on."

"Why? Why should I? You only removed her because you don't want her to be with me? Don't you care about me, my feelings? Right now, I'm physically getting destroyed because of the bind we have, father."

Zeus' features grew angry. Lightning crackled in his beards and his eyes were stormy. "Then what? I will never allow my cousin's spawn to be with my daughter. Especially one that is of my brother. That night on Olympus, when you promised you would find this child of Hestia, I was skeptic of why you didn't want me to oversee your progress. Now I understand."

He began pacing the room. "You knew that Persia wasn't just considered as a child of my brother at that time. You already knew that Hestia considers her as a full daughter, and she considers Hestia as her mother. She is now a child of Hestia too. And hence, she possesses the power to destroy Olympus."

Her heart began beating faster as she realized what her father was implying. "Father, surely-"

"Daughter. I have not finished." He took a deep breath, smirked lightly, before continuing. "You see, when this mere child has the power to destroy Olympus, it threatens the safety of everyone. Including you. But more importantly, my throne. My power."

Her heart turned to lead.

"I care about your feelings too, but there was only one way to end this. Destroying her. Your brother cares about you a lot, and he is the god of prophecies. He foresaw these events, and thus, with my convincing, had you swear an oath to stay away from her. and you will uphold it, or she will perish. I will not have my power threatened, and that is final. I am king. My word is law."

"Then why send Apollo? Why treat him like a lapdog when you can just do so yourself? Why, Zeus, why lie to us and manipulate us for your own comfort and glee? Does seeing your daughter hurt like this bring joy to your heart?"

"Because you listen to him, Artemis," Zeus shot back, "and besides he doesn't want Persia to be with you too. I merely accelerated events."

"But WHY?"

"Because I can, Moon goddess."

She was speechless for once, her emotions crashing and plummeting, her head spinning as her father turned and disappeared in another lightning bolt. Stumbling back over to her bedside, she collapsed on the bed, numb.

Her father had admitted everything.

She was just another nuisance to him.

He didn't care at all.

He only cared about his power, just like the vile, selfish male pig he was.

Gone was the father who cared, who loved her, who laughed and joked with her.

Replaced with another disgusting male who was a waste of power and space.

And it was because of him she lost her love, her brother.

The large tent space, even though hardly occupied by her, suddenly felt constricting. She needed space.

She needed comfort.

Stumbling out of the tent, she walked over towards the campfire-

And stopped in her tracks as she saw two figures sitting on a log in front of a campfire…who then turned to look at her with a pair of sea green and crimson eyes, as well as a pair of lightning blue eyes.

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

Aphrodite was fuming at Zeus after hearing him speak to Artemis.

That dick, she thought as she mentally made plans to stop him from interacting with his daughter. He'd just serve to ruin things further.

At least, it confirmed her suspicions. Zeus was slowly being corrupted by his own power, and it was affecting everyone's domains in some way.

But what could she do? Even though she was a primordial, most of the gods on the council were Zeus' children. Hermes, Apollo, Dionysus, Athena, Ares, Artemis. And Hephaestus if it really came down to that.

6 full children of Zeus. Including the king himself, 7, and that was discounting Hera's position. This meant that any proposal could just be pointless, since children of Zeus would side with their father no matter what. Plus, Hera wouldn't be as stupid to try and go against Zeus- she did have an appetite for power, just not as great as Zeus'.

She had once hoped that as the goddess of family, Hera would at least care about her family. Zeus' and Hera's marriage changed that.

Luckily, at least Artemis was against her father, and Apollo was getting skeptical of his intentions…

Speaking of Artemis, she was yet again feeling intense heartbreaks from her camp.

What is going on with that goddess these days?

Furrowing her brow, she decided to ignore it and move on. Probably, the moon goddess feeling pity for herself, or Persia being a sorry girl and beating herself up for not believing Artemis.

Yeah, probably just that.

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

Artemis had tears freely flowing down her cheeks as she stared at Persia, whose tear tracks clearly shone in the firelight..

It was like the fresh wound in her heart was wedged open further.

It hurt to see Persia cry. She just wanted to run towards her and crush her in a bear hug, comfort her and tell her everything was alright.

She couldn't.

A choking sound escaped Persia's lips, and Artemis whimpered in response. The pain was nothing like she'd experienced before, worse than any physical pain, worse than a thousand hunting knives slicing through her heart.

It was like her very soul was being ripped apart.

She just wanted to run towards Persia and hugg the living hades out of her. She just wanted Persia.

But she remembered her father's threat.

Was this worth it? Was Persia's life worth her own selfishness?

She doubted if Aphrodite could even protect both of them.

She was afraid of the consequences, afraid of her father's threat…

Afraid for Persia's life.

Should she risk it?

Could she risk it?

The pain was growing by the second, and the dull throb in her heart was now a head-splitting pain. But her father's threat hung in the air…

You will uphold it, or she will perish.

There had to be an alternative.

There had to be a way.

Whatever you do, I'll support you.

The pain was beginning to fog her mind. Persia was already on her knees as tears streamed from her heterochromatic eyes.

She had to take a leap of faith, or they would both suffer until they withered away.

Whatever you do, I'll support you.

Oh, fuck it, she thought, it's time you uphold your promise, Aphrodite.

She took a hesitant step forwards, and the pain lessened slightly,

Another step.

And then another.

And another.

Soon, she was sprinting towards Persia, jumping up and leaping into her embrace at the last moment, crushing her in a flying tackle. Both of them went flying over the log and landed right next to the campfire, but they couldn't care less at this point.

They only cared about each other.

Laying atop Persia, she breathed in the intoxicating scent of her partner, nuzzling the nape of her neck with her nose, running a hand through her wavy, raven black hair as tears of joy spilled out of her eyes. The rift in her heart finally seemed to mend, and she could feel the love radiating off from Persia as she cried into her loose silver shirt.

"P-Persia, love, I'm back, love, don't cry…"she muttered, even though tears were sliding down her own cheeks. In response, Persia Just sniffled and buried her head up into her Parka. "Don't leave me, please, Arty. I won't even leave you again. I'm s-so sor-sorry…"

Persia began to cry harder while she planted a kiss on the slightly shorter girl's forehead.

"I forgive you love." She whispered, "I do. Your absence made me realize just how much I loved you. And now we're back together, nothing is separating us. Ever."

Persia smiled through her tears as she looked up into her eyes. "I-I love you, Arty, I truly do. And…I'll love you till the end and back, you know that?"

"I do, love, I do."

Both of them had small smiles on their faces as she rolled off Persia and stood up. Bending down and scooping Persia up bridal style in her arms, her partner shrieked lightly before hitting her on the arm.

She lightly snickered as she walked back over to Thalia, who had tears brimming in her eyes.

"Lieutenant-"

"I'm happy for you," Thalia cut in a little bit too quickly, "I'm so happy now you two are finally together. You deserve it."

"Persia does, more than-"

"Moony does, more than-"

Both of them began speaking at the same time, and stopped at the same time. They looked st each other, slightly flustered, and Thalia couldn't help but crack a grin at their antics.

"Look at you two, you're so cute together."

If she had looked at her lieutenant now, she'd see hints of sadness within her lightning blue eyes.

She didn't.

Persia blushed hard, her cheeks rosy red in the firelight, as she pulled her close and buried her head into her parka. "Am not blushing, am not cute."

She and Thalia both chuckled. "Sure are, Perce/love."

"Shut up."

Light laughter spilled out from Thalia's mouth, and she grinned at her Lieutenant who turned to face her.

"Well, since you two are finally together, can I give you both a hug for once?"

"You know the answer, my dear."

With that, Thalia stepped forwards, a big grin on her face, tears of joy brimming in her eyes as she enveloped the two in a slightly tense hug. "I love you both," she said through the hug, "and I'm happy for you. I'm very happy for you two idiots."

She couldn't shake the light feeling that something was off with her Lieutenant's behavior, but she set it aside. She was happy for both of them, and that was it. Nothing more,

Spending the tight embrace, Thalia stepped back. "Well, now that you two are together, I guess we can finally start acting like a family, yeah?"

She grinned back at her Lieutenant, and Persia had a small, content smile on her face. "Sure thing, lieutenant. And by the way, nothing is separating us again, Persia. Ever."

Persia rested her head against her shoulder in agreement.

If she only knew how wrong her statement would be...

Turning to Thalia, she asked, "Since Persia here was so kind to give me a nickname, do you wanna help me come up with one?"

Thalia grinned, holding up her hands as she began to count.

"Kelp head, kelp for brains…not seaweed brain, that'll trigger her, maybe fire girl or hot rod-"

"Hey!" Persia sputtered indigenously, and she suppressed a chuckle as Thalia continued, "I got it, Ember, sparky-"

"That's you dear cuz."

"-flamey, flammable gal-"

"What the hell even is that?"

"-hope, food summoner machine…I think that's about it."

Ignoring a red and spluttering Persia at her side, she grinned at Thalia. "Thank you, lieutenant."

"No problem, Milady!" Thalia said with mock seriousness. "But…it's night, and I'm sure you're gonna move out soon judging by how we've been here for a few days. Is it alright if I go back and sleep?"

"Oh, of course! Why would you even think you need permission to?"

"Just poking around," Thalia said, grinning again. She couldn't quite decipher what her lieutenant meant, but Persia was beginning to lean heavily on her.

Persia was falling asleep.

"Alright, fine," she said, rolling her eyes as she hugged a nearly asleep Persia tightly into her side, "just go. Sleepyhead over here is falling asleep standing."

Thalia laughed lightly. "Gotcha, Milady. Don't do anything naughty though, or I'll have to chaperone your next 'sleepover' with my dear old cousin."

"Did you just call me old…" Persia mumbled through her parka, and she snickered lightly in response. "She did, little ember, she did."

"Why am I ember." She could hear the pout through Persia's voice, and she grinned. "Because you, my dear Persia, will forever be the burning ember in my heart that warms me."

Thalia Fake gagged at this. "Oh, cut it out you two. Stop being so sappy and sweet."

Standing up, she stretched her body, before turning away. "Anyway, I'm going to bed. Don't do anything naughty or I'll tell…um, Aunt Hestia."

She watched as Thalia walked away, relishing the feel of Persia's closeness to her side as she gently guided Persia back over to the logs and sat her down.

If she would've looked closely, she would've seen sadness and pain deep within Thalia's mirth-filled eyes.

Soon, both of them were off to the realm of Morpheus, their sleeping bodies leaning on each other as they slept peacefully for the first time in weeks.

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

Zeus was fuming at his daughter. The only reason he didn't strike her down where she now slept was because he feared that his less loyal children would leave his side and topple him.

Stupid stupid virgin goddess, he thought, useless just like your mother. I'm glad she's out of my life now.

He wasn't on the friendliest of terms with his daughter before. Now, she had definitely driven her away.

Deep down, je new he should feel sorry and sad. She was his daughter after all…

But his power was threatened. His respect was threatened. His position as king was threatened.

As much as one part o f him loved his daughter, he was willing to let it go.

He had had many, many daughters after all, and he could have more.

What's wrong with losing one?

He smiled as he sat down on his throne in the council room, feeling all the power he possessed. Everything was going swimmingly, and as long as the giants didn't become an annoying threat soon, he'd be a very, very happy king.

The sound of creaking doors drew his attention, and he watched as the doors to the throne room opened. In stepped Hera, his wife and the queen of gods, a worried look on her face.

He groaned as she walked up, worry etched in her beautiful features.

It seemed like he wouldn't get to be a happy king anymore.

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

Aphrodite was fuming as she listened in on the conversation int he throne room.

So, the Giants were rising again. No problem, they could deal with them like they did years ago.

Gaea was apparently their enemy. Trickier to handle, since she was a primordial, but she herself was a primordial too. Besides, tpGaia's defeat could serve as a reminder for the council to not interfere with mortal matters.

But then there was the news that they-well, Hera, wanted to swap leaders from both camps. Nico was now slowly growing closer to Will Solace, even though both were basically oblivious to their true feelings, and Jason Grace was going to be in a relationship with her daughter, Piper, who had already risen to the rank of Optio in such a short time, was truly her pride and joy…

Even though she was a Greek in the Roman camp.

Anyway, she shook her head, focusing on the conversation once again.

What she heard made her blood boil.

Not again.

She was so ready to strike Zeus down and just kick him off Olympus. Sadly, it wasn't her place to do so.

It was Persia's, if she chose to.

She sighed as she listened in on their relaborate plans. One day, those two were going to get what they deserved…

Maybe not Hera, who was forced into this loveless marriage. But definitely Zeus.

Arrogant egotistical bastard, she thought as she unfocused and allowed her essence to drift, to oversee the love in this world.

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

Persia awoke to the fresh and natural smell of pine cones and forests coming from beside her.

Her eyelids fluttered open, but closed again as she snuggled up to the warm body of someone next to her.

Artemis, her brain supplied, but she didn't dare look.

She was afraid it was all a dream.

Next to her, a soft, familiar moan could be heard as Artemis stirred, leaning into persia for a bit before she moved.

"Pillow, stay." She mumbled sleepily, and a light, melodically laughter was heard. A hand draped over her shoulder and caressed her cheek gently, before it froze.

"Arts…something happened?" She mumbled, before wriggling out of the embrace and looking around.

Behind them, the entire hunt stood there, wide-eyed. A few had mild blushes on their faces, but nothing more.

"Um-" she began, but before she could, Thalia screamed in joy.

"FINALLY!" Her cousin yelled, several younger hunters cheering and whooping, "THEY'RE BACK TOGETHER! THE POWER COUPLE IS BACK!"

Clapping, cheering and whooping could be heard from the gathered hunters as her face turned red. She was sure Artemis' face was too.

"Um, arty…" she began, and she felt a soft hand slide into hers, "is-is this a dream? Am I dreaming…?"

A painful pinch broke her thoughts out of the stupor. Yelping, she turned to look at a grinning Artemis. "Not sleeping, not dreaming. We're awake you silly idiot."

"But…how?"

"Oh come on, cuz!" Thalia yelled, "you're awake and Milady's next to you! Just shut up and kiss her already!"

Both of them turned a deeper shade or red and spluttered indigenously as the hunters laughed. "N-not here," she stammered out, "I hate you Thals."

Thalia laughed even harder as Artemis, still red, waved the hunters away and had them return to their duties.

"Well, Milady, it's nearly breakfast time. Who should prepare breakfast for everyone?" Thalia asked, and Artemis smiled.

"Don't we have a resident chef in the camp?"

"Thals," She said, stepping up to Thalia, "I'll do it, don't worry."

"On one condition!" Thalia chirped, "you do it with Milady."

"Wha-are you playing matchmaker?" She said, face red. Artemis, standing beside her, choked on air.

"Yep! You haven't spent much time with Milady, first with you 'going behind our backs', then leaving the hunt, and finally reunited just to be split again, so I figured I'd have you guys bond and finally act like a proper couple."

"Remind me not to let that separation thing happen again," the goddess grumbled beside her and she smirked. "I'll try not to."

Ignoring the playful glare Artemis was shooting at her, she turned to Thalia. "So, dear cuz, what do I have to cook up today?"

"Eh, the usual. I bet your chummy lover-" she could feel Artemis rolling her eyes "-wants steak, most of us want a British breakfast, and Tracy wants a salad. Preferably with chicken."

"So, one lamb chop-" Artemis hugged her hard "-eggs, friend fish cullet, sausages, bacon and toast, baked beans, and one chicken salad?"

Thalia nodded. "Be quick! I'll tell the hunters you're cooking together."

"THALIA!" Both of them yell, but the cheeky daughter of Zeus scampers away laughing. Sighing, she began conjuring food and ingredients.

"C'mon Arty, we're cooking."

Artemis only grinned in response.

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

Thalia stood some distance away from the cooking area, watching on with saddened eyes as Persia and Artemis walked about, cooking and laughing.

It should've been her down there, shamelessly teasing Persia as she created perfect meal after perfect meal for the hunters.

It should've been her who was in love with Persia.

It should've been her who was loved by Persia.

She desperately wanted Persia's touch, she wanted to be peppered with kisses from Persia, she wanted love, affection and Persia.

She got none of them.

While they had grown extremely close during the week when Persia was separated from Artemis due to her father (who she desperately wanted to disown), they were still only close as cousins.

The oblivious Persia of course didn't know she wanted more. And she was quite lucky for that. At least they were still close friends...

Oh, how she hated the finicky nature of Aphrodite's domain.

She wished to curl up and cry at her unfortunate fate. Falling in love with an impossible person, having to compete with a goddess…this was just sad.

Why did the fates hate her?

She just wanted love, affection, to be a normal teenage girl for once…and she was denied said wish.

Well, she mentally sighed, you should've expected this when you set yourself up for failure after failure. You made your bed, now lie in it.

Looking back at the pair one last time, she stared with longing in her eyes as she watched the perfect couple shuffle about, occasionally sharing laughs, love clearly pronounced in their bright eyes.

She wanted to join in so badly, she just wanted to be with them and to be loved by Persia…and maybe Artemis if it came to that.

She knew she wouldn't. Why should she hold that tiny sliver of hope that kept destroying her?

Sighing, she looked away, a lone tear welling in her eye, and she wiped it away irritably. She should feel happy for them, she had no hope of third wheeling this anyway.

Stop being sad. She thought, before mentally slapping herself as she stared down at the pair one last time.

Somehow, she thought, somehow I'll get you as mine, Persia.

Even if it requires me to go to Tartarus and back.

A/N: And that's that.

Chapter 12.

Artemis and Persia finally reunite for real, life in the hunt is getting better, and Thalia grows even more sadder. What's going to happen next chapter?

Well, read it and find out.

Anyway, sorry for not updating yesterday/ on the 28th. It was my birthday, me and the lads (and lass) went out to do sports, and we basically spent the day fooling around and being idiots. Tried to pick this up yesterday, but had to rewrite it nearly 4 times (had some success on the fourth but it wasn't good too). Now, it's finally written up but I don't think it's any good…hopefully you guys can forgive me for putting out slop.

Anyway, reviews. You lads have been so nice so far, than you.

Guest (on chapter 10): to stroke Zeus' ego. Yes, we all know that the eldest god is Hestia, but since myths portray Zeus as the eldest, I'm going with that (it also helps his shitty image of doing bad things in favor of getting more respect/power)

Ryan Fowler: He'll get his punishment soon enough. Remember TOA? I'll have him be punished…with a twist. Also, Delos will give him some very nice private time with Artemis. Let's see how that ends.

thatonefangirl2987: are those song lyrics or is that a poem? I'm seriously considering editing the last chapter just to fit that in, it's nice. Anyway, thanks for the review, and I hope you liked this.

Sh4d0wz: Thanks lol? I'm always happy to break my fingers for you readers. Anyway, Artemis had just gotten back with Persia, and though I feel like it was a shitty reunion, this was written in 6 parts and I am considering a rewrite. Hopefully one comes soon after I complete this story or at least reach the SoN arc.

DevilishSlipper: Nope, you didn't lose track, the one who lost track was me. I genuinely had such brain fog at 1am when I wrote the last chapter it was super L. But yes, the gods knew Persia had been reborn. They just didn't consider her Hestia's child…yet.

CommanderDuck14: ah, it wasn't too strong last review, I was just reminded of how Perlia fans would feel if this happened. Plus, it's gonna be reciprocal as you said, so don't worry. (It's related to the prophecy in chapter 3)

Thanks for appreciating the last chapter's emotional scenes. I find that I write those better if I'm half dead and nearly asleep. It for some reason breaks my emotions barriers and I can write freely. You can see the difference between the last chapter and this one's. And yes, I'll take your advice to heart-I'll be re-editing and rewriting scenes only after I'm done with this story. (I'm hoping to achieve stories like pipermcgay aka Mabel on wattpad has, so it would definitely take a while.)

That's it for reviews. Again, Don't be afraid to leave reviews/comments depending on your platform! I look forward to those, they're my motivations to keep writing :p

Anyway, that's all from me for now. I'll see you lads and lasses next chapter!

-le idiot out
