Prologue: Evolution.
Pangea: Day of the Meteor.
The sky was glowing orange that day. And in the sky was a rock, falling from the heavens, burning in the atmosphere as it fell down, and the denizens of the blue planet watched from their lone continent, their way of life coming to an end. The Tyrannosaurus Rex stood alongside their prey, the Brachiosaurus, and so did other predators and prey, united in the face of their end, old rivalries forgotten for the time being. More and more stood alongside each other, the irritable Triceratops, the fierce and fast Velociraptors, the relatively peaceful Stegosaurus, the semi-aquatic Hadrosaurus and the Iguanodon, and the raptors of the sky, Pterosaurs of all kinds, landing and watching. In the sea Megalodon and fish, Mosasaurus and whales, everything watched as the rock came closer and closer to their home, watching together as their lives flashed in front of their eyes, and the ocean waves crashed against the beaches of the supercontinent, the orange sky and the dark clouds doing nothing to stop the descent of the meteor.
And then… they emerged.
With a loud series of stomps, standing alongside the T-Rex and the Brachiosaurus….. there stood the Gojirasaurus. He stood upright with his long tail behind him, a series of sharp jagged dorsal plates running from his head all the way down the tail, his four toed massive feet and legs adding some needed muscle to his lower half, his slightly chubby belly rippling with more muscle, his two four fingered arms which were much bigger and more useful than the T-Rex's arms ever were, and finally a nice big chest and a boxy face with two small ears, a mouth lined with many sharp fangs, a small snout, and yellow-red eyes that boasted intelligence far beyond what most thought possible. He looked up at the meteor, and briefly turning his head back as he heard another series of roars. Out of the underbrush came the Anguirusaurus, his spiked carapace, his spiked head and sharp fangs, and powerful quadruped stance giving him a fierce look, showing evidence of the Ankylosaur his species all used to be. Then another roar sounded out, and swinging out of the massive trees came an ape, covered in brown and black fur, and landed right next to the other two, and stood upright, his yellow eyes displaying great intelligence too. Then a loud chirp broke out amongst the sounds of every living thing on Earth's supercontinent watching their impending end, and landing on the Gojirasaur's back was a massive moth, her blue compound eyes and her long legs, her two front ones and two middle ones ending in scythes, along with her two very beautifully patterned orange red and yellow wings giving her an elegant appearance. The Pterosaurs parted as a massive screech also came from the sky, and landing in the middle of them was the Rodan, his wingspan easily dwarfing all others, his red and brown coloration giving him an almost fiery look, and his fierce talons, beak, and twin head crests adding even more to him. Then the Gojirasaur looked back once more as he heard the bell like roars of his natural rival, and saw the golden dragon landing, all three of his heads staring up at the meteor, willing to let bygones be bygones. The Ghidorah moved forward, and stood alongside everything else that lived on his planet. More and more emerged from the jungle behind them, the gliding Varan, the tunneling Baragon, the drilled beetle Megalon, the strange almost bestial Gargantua, the demonic Battra, the slender Zilla, the feline Caesar, and the birdlike Gigan, their natural middle claw sticking out as they gazed up at the meteor with everyone else. From the seas, the Titanosaurus emerged from the depths, along with the Dagahra and the rodent-fish hybird called Deutalios, and the turtle called Kamoebas, everyone now watching. With a defiant roar, the Gojirasaurus challenged the meteor as it seemed to get bigger and bigger, leading the rest of the kaiju and denizens of Earth in similar roars and screeches. When the meteor would hit, in the end only the kaiju would be left standing, their defiance perhaps sparing them from the worst possible outcome for their world.
However….. that was not to be their fate that day.
With a sonic boom, several disc shaped objects zoomed overhead, surprising everyone as they flew towards the massive rock, and held it back as more and more joined together. From a faint distance, the Gojirasaurus, now being joined by other members of his species, could see a tusked head emerge from the shell of the strange being as it called out to the other shells, the meteor's descent being stopped completely as a few more joined. Then the middle one started to glow a warm gold, almost as bright as the sun, followed by the others joining in as everyone watched, wondering what would happen. There was a dead silence. And then…. a massive boom as the light flashed brightly, and then exploded, filling the sky up with a burst seen from all corners of the supercontinent and the planet. As the light faded away, the denizens looked up, and saw nothing, nothing but one of the disk shapes falling to the ocean, and splashing down, sinking below. Fragments of the meteor still fell, hitting parts of the supercontinent, the golden light still covering them making the landing much softer than it would've been. The red sky then was slowly eaten up by the dark blue and black of the night sky, and the kaiju and dinosaurs watched as twinkling stars filled up the sky. With a low rumbling growl coming from his throat, the Gojirasaur roared one final time at the sky, and then turned to leave back to his home, the moth flying off of him and the others, even the Ghidorah, following behind while the creatures of the sea dived back down to the depths, as they all breathed a sigh of relief, their way of life not coming to an end.
And so….. Pangea lived, whole and complete. That night….. a strange change started within the denizens of the planet, as if they were recognized as the dominant species, in place of another that would never rise.
Perhaps you may be wondering what happened after fate changed that day, and the rulers of Earth were allowed to continue on and grow. They started to change, their limbs making them more upright, languages starting to form, cultures starting to grow, and soon, a whole civilization was born out of them. For those who did not evolve, they coexisted alongside this brand-new species, being taken care of and in return giving back to the new species. I, Bumi, and my siblings called the Guardian Beasts, helped guide and shape them as they evolved and grew, until such time that our presence was not needed, and they could function on their own, so we parted from their realm, to let them choose their own destiny as Leviathan, our creator, had intended for them. They grew and grew, and yet….. it seemed as if old rivalries kept on growing as well. The Gojirasaurs and the Ghidorahs tried their best to maintain peace with each other in spite of their rising tensions, and then came the day when a Ghidorah was found with the dead body of a Gojirasaur, and this time, neither side would hear each other out.
And thus… war broke out in Pangea.
Two factions formed with the Gojirasaurs and the Ghidorahs leading each faction, and with kaiju picking which faction they chose to be with. On the side of the Gojirasaurs were the Angurius, Divine Moth, Baragon, descendants of the T-Rex called Gorosaurus, the Caesar, and offshoots of the Gargantuas called the Frankenstein. On the side of the Ghidorah were the Rodan, the Gigan, the Megalon, the Varan, the Zilla, and the Gargantua. The Battra remained neutral, and the Kong seemed to almost disappear as well. Each faction struggled for control of Pangea for many years, with their kingdoms and clans growing and changing, until they eventually both suffered, both sides wanting the war just to end. With a stalemate occurring that lasted for several years, rumors began of a strange third faction began to come around, a faction that was dedicated to keeping the war alive for the being they worshiped, simply called the Anti-God or the God of Darkness, who would seek to plunge all of Earth into darkness, and finish what he started years ago when he battled Leviathan, dominion over all. Whatever the cause, the final battle for Pangea was starting to brew….. and it would be seven warriors, coming from different places, who would decide the fate of all.
This is their story.

Godzilla: War for Pangea.
A story by TheBlackSwordsman97.
Author's Note: Hello everyone, it's me TheBlackSwordsman97, and welcome one and all to Godzilla: War for Pangea. This is a story that my partner, who wishes to go anonymous, and I have been cooking up for a long time now, and it is a story that we have always wanted to tell. With how popular works have become lately with anthro characters like Beastars recently, we've decided to give Godzilla the same treatment now, taking inspiration from Berserk, Hurricane Ryu's manga Monster Warrior Godzilla, Beastars itself, The Land Before Time, Sengoku Basara, and Seven Samurai, in hopes of crafting an epic story that we hope will be enjoyed by everyone. I also do want to make clear that while the Kaiju and the Earth itself may seemed human sized in the story, the truth is, this is a universe where everything is bigger, so if a normal human were to enter this universe, the land itself would be bigger than them, and the kaiju would be the size they are in the films. I will still be writing ROTK alongside this story, so these two stories will be published alongside each other. Stay tuned everyone, and welcome to Pangea.
