67. Temporary Hiatus Announcement

I know many of you are wondering why exactly there has been no new chapter lately of A Golden Goddess, Well wonder no longer.

If you would permit me, allow me to tell you a brief tale regarding how I started this fanfiction.

Before the creation of A Golden Goddess, I was listless and drifting through life as just another gamer/fanfic reader on the internet, scrolling through various stories and yearning to explore my Ideas. I had come across the Waifu Catalog one time on FFN and got intrigued by the premise of the medium, which led me to discover the Waifu Catalog Interactive Site and through it, the discord for it. For Days afterward, I had just spent time tinkering with the various builds and options available, wanting to dive into the deeper expanse of what IS the Waifu Catalog, and eventually, I decided to create a build featuring a possession target, one Lancer Arturia Pendragon.

It was my first time exploring the joys of writing, the feeling of creating a brand new world for others to experience and witness, it was nothing short of truly wonderous to behold. As time went on, people began investing time into reading my story and made both comments of favor and comments of critique. I made great strides and made several errors along the way, had fun bringing the world of Arturia Morgana Pendragon to life, and the joys she had in building her family up bit by bit. However, it was during the RWBY World Arc I could tell that I was starting to slow down significantly as the dreaded writer's block began to emerge multiple times.

At first, it was entirely possible to push past them albeit with extra time needed to put my ideas into writing, but as time went on the blocks became harder to deal with and I started to fall behind. It saddens me that I find myself unable to keep the world moving and keep the story going for despite my passion, I have finally reached the point where I need to take a break to clear my mind and refocus, allow myself to build back up the creativity required to not only continue the story of Arturia Morgana Pendragon but to give it a satisfactory ending.

To that end, I am announcing a Hiatus that will last until September 29th, when I hope to return with the continuation of Arturia's adventure in the Kingdom Hearts world, especially with the revelations of the chapter prior to this announcement.

I shall see you all again on that date hopefully, and I thank you all for your patience!
