Chapter 11:Visit from the heavens
Gohan and his mother Chichi were still reeling from his victory against the Androids a few weeks ago when a most unexpected visitor arrived. With a beam of light, in one moment, his dead father Goku descended from heaven with permission from King Kai and the ability to use the Instant Transmission technique.
Gohan and his mother were stunned and awestruck, standing with their jaw dropped and eyes wide at the sight of his father, clad in a halo and white, shimmering robes. Neither of them could believe their eyes, but both knew at this moment Goku had returned for them. Tears of joy streamed down their faces as they embraced, delirious with happiness of being reunited with their beloved Goku.
Chichi took the opportunity to ask him about his life in the afterlife. Goku then told her a bit about the afterlife and how he had found joy and fulfillment. He said no words could describe the beauty of heaven.
Gohan and Goku decided to go fishing, like they did when he was still alive. This gave them the chance to talk about what life had been like and how it had changed since Goku's passing.
Chichi and Goku then talked about life, love, and experiences, sharing stories and memories they had never talked about before.
In the midst of the reunion, Trunks and Bulma came for dinner. They were eager to hear more stories about Gohan's victory earlier, but also wanted to hear about where Vegeta had ended up. Goku told them the story of how Vegeta had somehow ended up in heaven by luck.
Towards the end of the day, Goku had to return to heaven and, although they were very sad to see him go, they all knew that they would see him again one day. They bade him goodbye with tears in their eyes.
The bond between Gohan, Chichi, and Goku was strengthened by the reunion. They all shared stories, laughs, and tears and it was one of the most beautiful days the family had ever experienced. They were so glad to have had at least one day with Goku and his visit gave them a chance to make further memories which could last forever.
Gohan and Chichi knew that they had this one precious day with Goku, and they cherished every single second. They would never forget how special that day was and it would remain in their hearts for the rest of their lives. So in the end, Goku was proud to have seen his son and family in such joy and with the blessing of King Kai, he returned to the heavens.
