Chapter 9: Path of True Love Pt 2
The group of Adi, Yukiko, and Chie are in a car to head for the second tower which looms over them. "Gee, we can't get any more to go with us," Chie said.
"We have to make do with what we have," Adi said as they parked in the forest for the three women to head for the tower.
"Gee, so freaking tall," Chie said as they felt a powerful roar.
"None will pass," a Cerberus appears to launch out fireballs with the three ladies rolling out of the way.
"Gee, more trouble," Yukiko said as she summons her fan into her hand to leash out waves of fireballs. The Cerberus tanks the spells to use one of his heads to spit out arcs of lightning to Yukiko which sends her flying across the forest and slamming into a tree.
"Yukiko, you are going to pay for that. Dog breath," Chie uses her Fusion gem to power up and rushes in to deliver a powerful kick to score a mighty hit on one of the heads.
"Stupid pest, you can't get in the way of my mistress," Cerberus said as he let out a blast of lightning to knock Chie away.
"Stone Edge," Chie uses an Earth spell to call up spears of sharp stones to cut into the three-headed monster dog.
"Other Rise, what is she doing to Yu?" Adi questioned Adi and Yukiko transform as she floats into the air before she launches herself to deliver a gravity kick to strike the weakened. Then she let out a rapid strike of quick kicks to drive up more damage.
One of the heads tries to bite her but she warps away to use another Gravity Kick onto his side. "Preparing him to be her husband. Yukiko has won Yu's heart and now she is desperate to find love in another version of him," Cerberus said as he unleash bolts of lightning with Yukiko blowing them away with twirling flames.
"That is madness, she can't do that," Yukiko said as they keep fighting but the demonic dog is holding them back. He shoots beams of flames to strike Adi sending her into a tree.
"Would you get the chance to be with the one you love," Cerberus said as Yukiko is confused by this.
"What?" she asked.
"It's very pathetic. My Yukiko managed to steal our leader's heart. Why did you do it?" Cerberus asked confused.
"Well, that is none of your business," Yukiko said as this stroke a nerve.
"So sad that your leader is married to a damned airheaded cheerleader. Our Yukiko is brave, graceful, efficient, and smart. A true lady samurai and yet you are nothing like her. A shell of who she is and you never reached your full potential with your Persona being only Stage 1, no wonder he didn't love you," Cerberus said.
"That is," Yukiko said as she always hold Yu special within her heart. She wasn't fast enough with Rise's boldness catching her off guard and capturing Yu's heart before she did. Yukiko only sighs as she keeps fighting to make sure Yu and Rise are okay. "I wasn't fast enough but I will protect their happiness regardless," Yukiko being firm and blasting the demon with waves of flaming sickles cutting into the beast.
Adi gathers debris around an orb of gravity and flings it into the beast tearing into the monster. "Eat rocks," Chie stomps the ground to pop out a big lump of stone and kick it towards the beast's left head. She stomps the ground to summon a wall of stone to block incoming lightning blasts and fireballs. "So annoying," Chie said as Yukiko conjures plumes of flames out of the ground to burn into the large demon dog.
"Coming through," Marie swoops in with Shining Arrows to rain down light bolts to pepper the monster. Marie lands in front of them in her Kaguya outfit as she fires a big photon laser to score a huge hit destroying the left head.
"About time Marie," Adi entraps the beast in a dome of increased gravity tearing into his body.
"Sorry I am late, I needed to do something. Let's finish this thing," Marie said as she tosses spears of light with Chie conjuring spears of stone to pierce into the demon's body.
"Lava Tower," Yukiko sets up her spell to engulf the beast with a pillar of fire vaporizing it and clearing up the way. "Thank goodness, it's over," she said.
"Yeah, nice save Marie," Adi said as they approached the tower. Marie looks over to Yukiko who is pondering over something.
"Something wrong?" Marie asked.
"A bit but I have already done with it but his comments made me think," Yukiko said.
"I get it's about Other Yu and Other Yukiko being together," Marie said.
"Yeah," Yukiko said.
"You are not the only one who likes him and missed your chance. We must honor his choice for our friendship with him is worth it," Marie said as Yukiko nods her head.
"I agree, I hold him dear but it does sting a bit," Yukiko said.
"I understand but Rise is our friend. We should be happy she can give him a proper partner," Marie said.
"Yes, that is why we need to help Rise to save him," Yukiko feeling determined to stop this.
"That's the spirit," Marie said as Chie looks on confused by them standing there.
"Hey come on," Chie said.
"Alright, let's go," Yukiko said as they approach the gate of the tower which is closed. Some water is leaking through the cracks.
"Gee, we don't have time for this," Chie prepares to power up her kick getting ready to knock down the door.
"Oh, wait a minute," Adi said.
"Galactic Punt," Chie uses an explosive kick to knock down the door for a huge wave of water escape. Adi comes in using a wall of gravity to catch the water for it pours out like a raging river.,
"Damn it Chie," Adi said as she is trying hard to hold back the water.
"Sorry," Chie said as Adi managed to compact all the water into a gravity bubble. Yukiko uses her fire spells to turn the water inside into steam.
"Good work Yukiko, try not to kick down doors next time Chie," Adi said as the four go inside to see a piece of a dead Sea Serpent lying there. "Seems like Rise is doing some damage on her own," she said.
'She does have her Stage 3 Persona Kouzeon who is very strong but she stills our help," Yukiko said.
"Of course, let's go," Marie said as the four women can see the tall spiral staircase. "Oh, you got to be fucking kidding me," Marie said.
"Goodness, Rise ran all that?" Yukiko asked.
"Come on girls, this is nothing," Chie feels psyche to scale this place.
"Ditto that, come on girls. Don't be lazy, let's go," Adi floats and begins to jump upwards using her gravity powers. Chie runs up the stairs with Maire and Yukiko sighs at this to follow after them.
Back with Rise and Kouzeon are within the upper levels. "Seems like your dumb friends managed to find this tower," Other Rise said.
"Sensei and the others are here. Good thing, now to finish you off and save my husband," Rise said.
"No! This is not want I had in mind," Other Rise said as Rise has no sympathy for her.
"Tough shit," Rise said.
"Oh, Yukiko is here too. Even here, she is beautiful, graceful, and reliable. Senpei only had eyes on her and her shapely figure. I didn't stand a chance," Other Rise ready to cry to remember them having sex in their room not being able to feel the warmth of her handsome senpai's body.
"Cry me a river," Rise said.
"Seriously this woman is nuts," Kouzeon said.
"You think your big because your Persona is stronger. A little demon power will slap some senses into you," Other Rise said as she uses her Himiko in navigator mode to begin powering up demons who are blocking Rise's path.
Hellhounds, Seekers, and Howlers are getting powered up to rush at Rise. "Not these guys again," Rise unleashes beams of water to cut them down as she uses her microphone to create a water whip to leash and slash several enemies to bloody ribbons.
She puts her water whip around the neck of a hellhound to slice it off from the body. Rise backs away to leave behind a light mine which takes out a pursuing hellhound. She conjures blades of water and light to slice several enemies in half pouring blood and guts onto the floor.
"They are getting aggressive," Kouzeon said.
"Good, we are getting under her skin," Rise said as she tosses a spear of light to pierce into the skull of a Howler. Rise dodges incoming blows in a dance-like manner to use her water whip to slice up the demon to death.
They noticed the water was pouring into the space and they were both annoyed. "Again," both women said at once as they see a door close shut blocking their path. She summons her visor to detect the real switches which are two and are connected.
"Interesting, seems like we need to pull them down at the same time," Rise said as they split apart again with Kouzeon unleashing waves of energy to send the monsters crashing into a wall and turning into red strains.
Rise gets to the first switch with Kouzeon got to the second lever to pull it down to unlock the door. "Good," Rise said as she transforms back into her Persona Form.
"Look at you, having a perfect life with a cute husband, loads of friends, a loving community, and a bright future. My future was ripped from me when the Grand Cross event happened, I can still remember my 5-year-old self being ripped to bloody pieces when hell came over," Other Rise is getting annoyed and envious of Rise's life while she is doomed to be a soldier in a never-ending war against demons.
"I worked hard to get all that, it didn't just fall on my lap. I am going to prevent you from ruining it," Rise said as they got into the last room where Other Rise is waiting for her.
"So, you are here to see my handy work," Other Rise said as she displays Yu standing up looking like he is ins a deep trance.
"Oh baby, are you okay?" Rise asked to reach out to him. Yu is not acting as he stares into space with her heart sinking. "Am I too late?" she wondered as Other Rise laughs at her face.
The demon ritual is completed. She is under my control now and he will be my husband forever," Other Rise said as Rise is on her knees almost about to cry from this.
"No, I am too late," Rise said feeling tears swell up in her eyes.
"Oh, stop being a crybaby and take me being the better woman," Other Rise said.
"Bitch, I going to cut you down and rip you a new fucking asshole. Give him back now!" Rise said switching from sadness to heated anger as Kouzeon is coming up with an idea.
"Give up, he is in a deep trance and he is under my power now," Other Rise said.
"Use your voice and put my power through it," Kouzeon said as Rise is confused by this.
"What, you want me to sing now?" she questioned this.
"Yes, you can reach him and break her spell over him," Kouzeon said as Rise nod her head.
"Okay, I will try. Cover me," Rise pulls up the microphone to her lips. "Please Yu, come back to me. This is for you," Rise said as Other Rise is confused by this.
"What are you doing, are you nuts?" she demanded as she powers up with demonic energy to rush in trying to hit her but Kouzeon comes in to protect Rise with a barrier.
"No touching, I am pissed too. I going to bitch slap you around for a while," Kouzeon said as she sees Dark Himiko go into battle mode to join Other Rise to fight Kouzeon. "I will not let you near us," she said.
"Like you can take both of us," Other Rise said as Rise pours her heart into her singing.
"I was trapped inside for so very long. How could things turn out so wrong? You came along, to save the day. I knew that it would be okay. My knight in shining armor came. My life would never be the same!" Rise starts to find her voice as Other Rise is more confused.
"More of this pop crap," Other Rise hated Rise's music for something odd was happening she feels weaker and losing focus. "What is happening to me," she wondered.
"I don't feel so good," Dark Himiko said as Kouzeon is getting empowered by Rise's special magical voice.
"Wow, I feel so strong," Kouzeon said as the music is flowing throughout her whole body sharpening her senses beyond their normal limits. Her Persona is going in to kick both enemies to knock them away as she leases out with energy blasts to slam into them.
"What the hell?" Other Rise said that she didn't see that coming due to Kouzeon's newfound speed.
"Do not harm my mistress," Dark Himiko said as she fires bolts of light at Kouzeon using a barrier to deflect the spells back to slam into her causing some damage. "Damn it," D. Himiko said.
"Oh, I am going to hurt her alright," Kouzeon goes in with water whips to slash into the duo to blast them with water energy.
Yu is beginning to be affected by Rise's beautiful voice as the spell is weakening. "Cause you're my hero, you came to rescue me! And now you've set me free. There's so much, that I want to make you see!" Rise's voice sours. "You're my hero, Don't ever let me go! I just want you to know, There's so much inside and I want to let it show!" Rise is getting so into the music she is in her world.
Other Rise noticed her spell is getting weaker with Yu's foggy mind clearing up. "This is impossible, how can she do this?" Other Rise questioned as she is conjuring tons of light spears.
"Come on, where was that spirit before?" Kouzeon mocking them as Other Rise is beginning to lose her mind.
"Fuck this, fuck all of you. I have a chance to be happy and you will not take it away from me," Other Rise summoning all the demons within the room trying to kill Kouzeon. "You are nothing to me. You hear me, nothing!" Other Rise is breaking down as her plan is not working and falling apart before her eyes.
"And now I owe, so much to you. Is there anything that I can do? I want to show you that I care. When you need me I'll be there! I hope that you don't go away, I'll always wish that you would stay!" Rise can see Yu watching her having a smile on his face. "Please watch me, this is all for you and how I feel about you," she thought.
Kouzeon is slicing, dicing, and blasting demons apart with tens of them falling to her water whips and spells but they keep coming trying to dogpile her. "So many of them," Kouzeon said as Rise's magic voice pushed her past her limits to keep up the demand at hand. "Keep singing," Kouzeon said to encourage her human self-keep pushing forward.
"Cause you're my hero, You came to rescue me! And now you've set me free. There's so much, that I want to make you see!" Rise is singing at full blast.
"Oh, damn it," Rise's Persona gets slashed across the back as Rise felt that pain but keeps going.
"You're my hero, don't ever let me go! I just want you to know. There's so much inside and I want to let it show! Cause you're my hero. You came to rescue me! And now you've set me free, There's so much, that I want to make you see! You're my hero, Don't ever let me go! I just want you to know, there's so much inside and I want to let it show!" Rise pushes to the final verses and ends her song with the spell over Yu broken as he flops onto the floor.
"No!" Other Rise shouted.
"Time to clear up the room, Bright Repulse," Kouzeon curls up into a ball to gather energy within herself. She uncurls out to spread her arms and legs to unleash a massive wave of light to crush anything in its path reducing them all to red mist.
"Damn it, I need to stop you," Other Rise is getting desperate for she lets her Persona activate Supreme Insight to predict every move they are going to make and counter all their attacks.
"Not this stupid trick again," Rise said as Kouzeon sighs at this.
"I can't Teddie overpower me with the power of friendship. How embarrassing," Kouzeon said as she knows how to break this. "Mega Bubble," Kouzeon conjures several big bubbles for Other Rise looks amused by this.
"I don't think that will work," Other Rise said as Kouzeon tosses her huge bubbles to slam into her but then several more bubbles each appear catching Other Rise off guard. "Wait what?" he questioned as there were too many bubbles to handle to knock her onto the ground.
She rushes in covering herself in a barrier blocking all water and light spells. She uses the energy barrier like a battering ram to force Other Rise back until she let the barrier explode knocking her away. "Your ability is too weak to keep up with me," Kouzeon said as Rise resumes her singing to power up Kouzeon to keep pushing Other Rise and Dark Himiko even harder.
"This is impossible, where is this inner strength coming from?" Other Rise
"Sharper, harder and faster, you can't keep up with me," Kouzeon is dancing around their attacks and spells to use her water whips to tear and cut into their bodies with rapid speed and pacing. She managed to overpower her Supreme Insight with ease. "Photon Mine," she sets a bunch of mines all over the floor making Dark Himiko and Other Rise unable to move around without getting it with an explosion of light.
Other Rise is noticing Supreme Insight is getting weaker due to Rise's magical voice as Kouzeon clicks her finger with all the Photon Mines to seek out their targets to overwhelm them. "This is not happening; this is not happening. Getting beat by some awful love song," Other Rise said as Kouzeon kicks her into a wall while unleashing a powerful spell onto Dark Himiko.
"What is this?" Dark Himiko wondered.
"Holy Lance," she calls down a ton of light spear to stab into her over a hundred times. She snaps her fingers to burst apart the Dark Persona taking it out.
"I am sorry," Dark Himiko fades away as this left Other Rise deeply weakened unable to maintain Supreme Insight leaving her no options left.
"Damn it, it can't be. Why can't I be happy?" Other Rise wondered as Rise walked up to her to see how truly pathetic she was.
"With that attitude, it's no surprise," Rise said as Other Rise hates that her faker is looking down on her. Other Rise gets back up trying to use what power she has with her demon powers.
"This is not over yet," Other Rise said.
"Yes it is," Yu said as he is standing on within his Fusion form holding a Persona card in his hand. "Come Ishtar," Yu summons Ishtar which represents his bond with his wife/best friend Rise. Ishtar strikes Other Rise with a psychic strike to lift her into the air which leaves her vulnerable to Yu's powerful Cross Strike tearing her body to pieces.
Head and torso still attached flop onto the ground looking defeated that Yu ends her killing her. "Why?" she asked.
"Rise is everything your not. Doesn't matter if she is not the original one, she has managed to do everything to have a successful life unless you who is a shell of her," Yu said as Other Rise is deeply envious that Ishtar is his most powerful Persona in his deck beside his original one.
"Oh, so cold and alone," Other Rise loses life within her eyes to stare blankly into the ceiling just dying from her fatal wounds. Yu collapses onto the ground for Kouzeon goes over to comfort him as she begins to heal him.
"Thank goodness she is gone for good," Kouzeon said.
"Yeah, better this way. She would keep hounding us," Rise said as she goes up to Yu for he is still naked. "Oh goodness," Rise said as her face is getting red from his exposed member.
"Oh boy, very big boy," Kouzeon said in a lustful tone, this made Rise uneasy.
"Hey don't look," Rise pouted.
"Hey, remember what I said. He is ours," Kouzeon teases her as this made her flustered.
"Stop it," Rise said as Kouzeon takes Yu's head and places it on her chest.
"My boobs are bigger than yours," Kouzeon teases.
"You are bigger than me in terms of frame and form," Rise pouted as she finds it silly to be protesting over this.
Yu wakes up to be greeted by Rise and Kouzeon. "Wake up sleeping beauty," Rise said lightly.
"Wow, that was nuts," Yu said as Rise takes him into her arms to comfort him.
"Yes I had to go through a lot to get you back," Rise said as she is getting sweet with him.
"Okay, I will leave you two be, call me when you need help again," Kouzeon disappears which made Rise's outfit disappear leaving her naked again. She presses his face into her large bosom to let him feel her heartbeat.
"I bet you did it, you saved me. Thanks," Yu said as she raises his chin to kiss him on the lips.
"Of course, we are partners in battle and life. I will always have your back no matter what," Rise said.
"That song you sang for me, it is my favorite," Yu said.
"Your My Hero, I made it only for you as a gift for our first anniversary. You saved me and put me on the right path. I owe you a lot and I am forever grateful to you," Rise said as she holds his hand to place it between her breasts to feel her warmth.
"Hey, it was worth it. I got a cute wife in the deal, we can call it even," Yu said as Rise laughs at this.
"Yeah your right," she said as they heard footsteps behind them.
"Okay we managed to get here," Adi said as Marie, Chie, and Yukiko come into the chamber to see the couple naked on the floor.
"Oh boy, what happened here?" Chie acting sheepishly.
"Come on, you've seen a naked guy before. With all that porn you got," Adi said as Chie is blushing like crazy.
"Oh, how do you know that?" Chie asked being even more embarrassed.
''You left your laptop on the other day and you were watching some pervy stuff," Adi said.
"Hey, I was lonely. I need some me time," Chie protested as Yukiko can relate to this.
"Speaking of which, you forgot to give me back my favorite 'movie'," Yukiko said trying to hide her blushing but failing at it.
"Goodness, you two are just as freaky as Rise is," Adi said as they approached the duo to check them. "Are you okay?" she asked.
"Yes, the mission is complete. The Other Rise is dead," Rise said.
"I can see that," she looks down to see the broken corpse of the Other Rise. "I am impressed you managed to clear a tower by yourself," Adi said as she goes over to a section of the chamber to grab the demonic gem to depower the tower to care of a second tower.
"Well, I was deeply motivated to get through here and I had help from my Persona," Rise said as they begins to exit the tower.
"How did that turn out?" Adi asked.
"She talks a lot, it's draining," Rise said.
"Gee I wonder who is like that," Adi said as Rise protested with a pout.
"What does that mean Sensei?" she questioned as Adi laughs at this.
"I am joking, let's get out of here," Adi said as the group outside to head back home.
Elsewhere within the Dojima household, Nanako looks out the window of her room to notice the two towers in the distance. "I wonder what those things are and how did they get there," Nanako is confused by this for she seems to be the only one who seems to notice them there.
"Big Bro and Big Sis," she is thinking about Yu and Rise. "I hope they are okay from those weird monsters," Nanako said as she has seen videos online about new masked warriors hunting down and killing the monsters. This was a big thing within her school talking about this for she begins to go to sleep to be ready to go to school.
