Chapter 10: Soothing Springs
Within an unknown location, a shadowy figure is watching the news to see the mall fight with a demon fighting two masked Persona Users. "This will be a problem," the man said as one of his minions comes in to share intel with him.
"Sir, those demons are popping up in that small time of Inaba along with other places. They are beginning to pop up more often than before," the henchman said.
"I know it's very concerning, after what happened with the Phantom Thieves and Shido's big-headed moves two years ago. It has left the nation directionless and heading into ruin. We need to make moves to get our assets into place," the leader said.
"Of course, Mako Sensei. We need to move into pushing our ideals into the populations but the idea of the Phantom Thieves has left their deep mark within the people's minds," the henchman said.
"Their idealism is not going to fix all the problems in this nation. Honoring the past is the key to pushing this nation in a better direction without dirty foreign ideas screwing everything up. What about my foot soldiers the Lone Stars?" Mako asked.
"Going pretty well Sensei. We are pushing people in certain directions and undoing the influence of those idiots. Spreading the fear of dirty foreigners must be one of the keys to turning this nation into a new positive direction," Mako said.
"Also, our other project is working very smoothly," the henchman said.
"Oh yes, Project Avatar. Getting those demonic samples is becoming quite useful," Mako said.
"Also, the test subjects from the undesirables are coming in by the hundreds. No one will miss them," the henchman said.
"Good, keep things underway. Keep monitoring the situation with the demons. Things are becoming more tense," Mako said as he lets his Lone Stars do his dirty work and subvert Japan from within.
Elsewhere Yu, Yosuke, Rise, and Alice are eating at a local breakfast café within the Junes department store. "Well place is quite cozy baby," Alice said as Yosuke feels humbled by her kind words.
"I know right, it's brand new. They got all kinds of yummy stuff they sell here," Yosuke said as they were at their table waiting for a waitress to come over.
"Those pancake sandwiches look pretty tasty," Rise said.
"Yeah they do," Yu said as a waitress came with a tablet to take their orders.
"Good morning everyone, I hope your workday is stress-free. What do you need?" she asked as Yosuke chuckles at this.
"Yeah I will have breakfast wraps with orange juice," Yosuke said.
"I will have a blueberry muffin with a coffee please," Alice said.
"I want that pancake breakfast sandwich along with strawberry milk please," Rise said.
"I will have the same thing besides the milk, make it chocolate," Yu said as the waitress writes it all down.
"Okay, your orders will come up soon," she said to walk away.
"Man, this smells so good, I can't wait to dig into it," Alice said as the others agreed.
"So lucky to have this place here, I don't have to rush to get here," Yosuke said.
"How is your new position going?" Yu asked as Yosuke was promoted to manager within the electronics section of the department store
"Pretty swell but stressful as hell. People are counting on me to keep things running around here," Yosuke said.
"Junes seems to be expanding ever since the department store was working with the local community," Alice said.
"Yep, working together and helping promote their products allows the shopping district to regain new life and open up stores like wildfire. It's exciting, Junes is now a force of good to Inaba helping it grow instead of being a parasite sucking up all the business," Yosuke said.
"Yep, our tofu shop is cooking something special. The cash we got allowed us to expand to have indoor seating for our shop," Rise said.
"You both did a good job, it gives a very homely setting to it," Yosuke said.
"Yep, so what about you Alice? What do you do?" Rise asked to be curious about her work.
"Oh, I recently got a degree in business. I love working with data and sorting it. Maintaining databases is my thing," Alice said.
"Oh, I see, you can be good in a hospital. They have a lot of records that need to be sorted, right up your alley," Rise said.
"Something like that, I would like to work at my mother's university in Tokyo. She can pull some connections and get me a job there," Alice said.
"That's exciting to hear," Rise said.
"Oh, by the way, the summer festival is coming up soon," Yu said.
"Oh yeah, it's coming up fast. I got a very pretty Yukata to wear, I know you will like it, baby," Rise said to give him a seductive wink.
"Yeah you look good in one, that's for sure," Yu said as Rise feels happy to get a sweet compliment.
"Oh baby, I would look the best for you," Rise said.
"I got a nice yukata I can wear. I am going to knock your socks off babe," Alice said as Yosuke has a big grin on his face.
"Oh, I do not doubt that. They are going to have all sorts of stuff there, it's going to be wild," Yosuke said as their meals get placed on the table.
"Thank you for your patronage," the waitress bows her head to let them eat.
"Oh, I am so ready to eat this," Rise takes her pancake sandwich which is filled with a sausage patty, cheese, and eggs along with two pancakes infused with maple syrup acting as bread. She bites into it for her senses were overwhelmed with delight. "Hot damn, this tastes good," Rise said as Yu nods his head to bite into his sandwich.
"Delicious, melts into my mouth," Yu said.
"Hey, after Rise's episode. We are going to the Amagi Inn to relax," Yosuke said.
"Oh, I heard about that place, it's a town treasure. Wish I can come," Alice said.
"Sorry about that, it's a group outing. Not enough for you to get in," Yosuke said.
"Oh, that's okay. I need to help my mom at the college," Alice said.
"We will have fun at the festival, I promise," Yosuke said to place his hand onto her chin enjoying the sight of her lovely chocolate face fitted with a big bright smile.
"Okay honey, I understand. Go have fun with your friends and we will have our time at the festival," Alice said as she takes her muffin to enjoy it. "This is so good," she said with her smile spread across her face.
"Alright, we should be going to the Amagi Inn within a few hours," Yosuke said.
"Oh, I can't wait to enjoy some hot springs with my man and the girls," Rise said.
"That would be wonderful," Yu said as they finished their breakfast to split off to get ready to head for the Amagi Inn.
Adi is waiting beside the tofu shop which Yu and Rise were not there. She sees Nanako getting ready for school with her sailor dress and backpack. "Good Morning Miss Adi," Nanako said to greet her with a bow and a smile.
"Morning sweetheart, trying to get some tofu for the road," Alice said.
"Yes I want some and share it with my friends," Nakano said as she is unsure if she want to say something. "Miss Adi," she said.
"What is it?" Adi asked.
"Do you know about those weird towers in the distance," Nanako asked as Adi looks surprised by this.
"Oh boy," she thought.
"Why honey?" she asked.
"Well, I just see them in the background and no one seems to care if they are there," Nanako said as Adi is shocked that Nanako has the potential. Only people with Personas can see the towers.
"Oh my, Yu is not going to like this," Adi said as she had an idea of what to do with Nanako.
Within the hour, Yu, Rise, and Adi were in a car heading for Amagi Inn to stay there for a few days to relax after Rise's big victory in saving Yu from her crazy Other Rise. "Well, I have some news. Your little Nanako can see the towers," Adi said as the two were surprised by this.
"Seriously?" Rise asked.
"Yep, only Persona Users can see them. Nanako has the potential to become a Persona User," Adi said.
"Oh man, more to worry about," Yu said.
"Hey, I think the kid would do wonders. More Persona Users the better," Adi said as the two were unsure about this.
"I don't know, she is still young," Rise said as Adi laughs at this.
"You were 16 when you were fighting Shadows and saving the world three times. Nanako is going to be 15 this year, heading to High School very soon. We will teach her the ropes and make her a member of the team when she is ready to go," Adi said as they look both worried. "Besides; she is becoming a young lady. She will not like it if you treat her like the same little girl you met years ago," Adi said.
"She was always very mature for her age back then," Rise said.
"Well, she is right not I am uneasy about this. I don't want her to get wrapped up in all of this," Yu said.
"Being the dutiful big bro. How adorable, so good with children, hope you can put that effort into our children," Rise said.
"No doubt about that," Yu said as Rise shows a big grin about this.
"Well, we should put that aside for now. We can relax at the beautiful Amagi Inn," Adi said as she can wait to go into the famous hot springs there.
"Rise, let's not have the accident like last time," Yu scolds her remembering that terrible mistake the last time they were at the Amagi Inn, Rise has a worried smile.
"Sorry baby, I didn't mean to. I was swept in the mood. Besides I said I was sorry afterwards," Rise said.
"Yeah, just saying," Yu said.
"Hopefully that doesn't matter here," Adi said as they arrived at the Inn.
Within a few hours, everyone got to the hot spring resort. The girls go first at their time slot with Rise and Yu going to their own later that day. Rise, Yukiko, Adi, Chie, Marie, and Naoto are in the warm pool only wearing towels to enjoy the warm glow of the afternoon summer sun.
"I am going to get my ass nice and wet," Chie said feeling happy about this.
"This would be so much fun," Adi said.
"Oh, this is nice," Marie said.
"About time, I need to wash my worries away," Rise said as they circle a certain section to enjoy each other's company.
"I hope none of the guys be peaking at me," Chie said.
"Trust me, I doubt anyone would want to do that with you," Adi said dryly as this made the little lady upset.
"What was that, I am going to bonk you on the head," Chie tries to punch but Adi easily dodges her blow and she fumbles into the water.
"Besides three of the guys have a girlfriend and a wife. Teddie, we need to look out for it. He could peek at us at some point," Yukiko said.
"Fair point," Chie said as she collects herself to calm down.
"Speaking of things lacking, look how I am floating," Rise said as her boobs are floating in the water with Chie and Yukiko being a bit envious of her figure.

"Bitch, are you serious?!" Chie asked.
"I was looking forward to this," Marie said feeling disappointed with this.
"How disappointing, how can you be so careless," Naoto said as all the girls gang up on Rise backing her into a corner.
"Hey guys I am sorry, I can make it up to you gals," Rise said with a big grin with the women looking at each other with devilish smiles. "What is with the evil grins?" Rise questioned as she gets picked up by all the women and toss her through a paper wall knocking her out on the floor.
"Now we have taken the boob queen out to the trash, let's go and get a new slot," Chie said.
"Also Rise you can't join us," Adi said as the women go away giving Rise the cold shoulder. Yu goes over to Yukiko to say he is sorry.

"Of course, I need it to fix the wall. She is lucky to have someone so reliable," Yukiko said as she goes with the others. Yu goes over to pick up Rise and places her up against the wall.
"You okay babe?" he asked.

"She's fine, let's enjoy ourselves," Yosuke said as Yu let her rest to join the others.
They step into the warm waters to relax. "That was crazy," Teddie said.
"Yeah, but Rise had it coming and got served karmic justice. Thank goodness, it's not like last time," Yosuke said.
"Oh yeah, we were total innocence," Kanji said.
"Karma is a bitch, is it," Yosuke said as they enjoy themselves in the warm water. "Oh, this hits the spot, my dude," Yosuke said as they look up into the sky to see the orange glow casting a ray of light onto the area.
"Yes; it does, it's very nice on the body and soul," Teddie said.
"I can be lost within this warmth for hours," Kanji said as Yu looks up into the sky to have a worried look on his face.
"Dude, are you okay?" Yosuke asked.
"Yeah, I was thinking about my mother lately. She is worried about Dad taking too much work lately," Yu said.
"That must be quite stressful," Yosuke said as Yu nods his head.
"Your mother is a good lady, I hope it works out well for there," Kanji said.
"Yeah I hope so," Yu said.
"Speaking of which, how was that birthday dinner you set up for Rise with your folks?" Yosuke asked.
"It went pretty well. All my folks loved her to death and we have a great time at this new place called Serenity. Great steaks there, pretty tasty," Yu said.
"Sounds good to me," he said.
"Speaking of girls, how are you and Alice doing these days?" Yu asked.
"Oh yeah, it's going well. I was so nervous before but she is a cool chick. She has a killer body and an even better personality. I don't envy you; Rise can be very overbearing, to say the least," Yosuke said.
"Oh come, Rise is not that bossy. She is very sweet and understanding, a true joy to be around," Yu said as the three guys can tell how much he holds his wife with great respect.
"How about you Kanji, getting close with Naoto?" Teddie asked.
"Well yeah, things are going smoothly," Kanji said looking a bit embarrassed.
"When are you going to tie the knot with your little detective?" Yosuke asked.
"None of your business. We will be ready when the time comes," Kanji said.
"I bet, I have been dating Alice for several months now and I haven't gotten her to meet all of you yet. She has been busy doing her tech stuff at the college in Tokyo," Yosuke said.
Within a few hours, both Rise and Yu go alone. "Oh yeah, alone at last," Rise said to be clad in a wet towel clinging to her lush curves.

"We should be heading for that new water park nearby Okina City," Rise said.
"That sounds like fun," Yu said.

"Indeed, we lost our navigator but Taichi. You need to pick up the slack with this one," Other Yu said.

"So, they got more demonic gems from the towers," Other Chie said.
"The towers got what they need. We wait for the other towers to appear and make our moves," Other Yu said as they push forward with their plans.
