Chapter 14: Velvet Defense
Other Yukiko is at the entrance to see her demon hordes overwhelming the siblings as she walks into the Velvet Room. The trio uses their magic to shove the demons away to see the powerful seemingly human woman.
"So, the defenders of this place are hiding a cold-blooded murderer. How sad," Other Yukiko said as a powerful demonic aura around her body with her demons invaded the space beginning to set up demonic seals which will corrupt the velvet Room.
"What do you want from here?' Margaret demanded to prepare to fight her but this woman's power is impeccable making her feel uneasy for the first time. "This dark power, I am shaken by this," Margaret said as Other Yukiko laughs at the Velvet Siblings.
"It's pretty obvious we are seeking out your master. Your true master," Other Yukiko said as Margaret is shocked that they are going after Philemon.
"Philemon, you can't see him. He is still recovering from his feat in making this new world via time warping," Margaret said.
"You mean making a new world and leaving us to die. Not only that, you are hiding away here while the world is threatened by the Chaos. Shows you are real cowards," Other Yukiko said.
"We can't interfere," Margaret said.
"Oh, that sounds like an excuse to me. Humankind is suffering from the demons in my world and you don't give a damn enough to save them just like your master," Other Yukiko said.
"Oh yeah, the great mighty Philemon. A being created from all the good of humankind and yet he abandoned us on the Other Side leaving us to suffer a slow painful death against the demons," Taichi said looking down at the trio of Velvet Siblings.
"That is not trust, we need to aid the humans on this side. They needed help most," Lavenza said.
"Oh, you are doing a bang-up job with that one. I remember you were overpowered by that control freak over 2 years ago," Taichi said.
"Not one of your best moments," Other Yukiko said as Lavenza is defenseless as this is true.
"Let's not forget your boss's biggest sin. His rushed actions caused the creation of Chaos. Him making a new timeline that was never to exist in the place. With this contradiction with this world becoming into being, Chaos was born. Which means your master is at fault here and someone needs to pay for all that, yes?" Other Yukiko asked.
"No, he was only doing it for the sake of humankind," Theodore said.
"But it made things worse and now we are trying to pick up the pieces while you idiots have your thumbs up your asses. Philemon has made this whole situation we are in now and time itself is on the verge of being destroyed via the Chaos. He needs to pay for his sins," Other Yukiko said.
"You are going to kill him," Margaret said as the trio get into combat stances to protect the Velvet Room against them.
"No, I am going to turn him into a demon and make him a servant. Karmic justice," Other Yukiko said as she wields her katana and bladed fan. "Prepare yourselves, it will be very hard not to hold back once I get into the swings of things. Taichi, back me up," Other Yukiko begins to power up which shakes up the whole Velvet Room with her demonic energy flowing from her body corrading the area around her.
"What is she," Lavenza questioned as Other Yukiko sports bright red eyes having foxlike slits.
"She is not human, prepare yourselves," Margaret said as they are going to summon her Personas as a backup with Other Yukiko wielding her elegant blade to have a smile on her face.
"I hope you last long enough to know what true fear is," Other Yukiko explodes with power to lunge at Theo to slam her blade into his chest to send him flying through several walls. The two ladies were shocked by her raw power behind that strike.
"Go Satan," Margaret summons the powerful Persona but something goes wrong. "What is happening?" Margaret questioned. Taichi looked on with a smirk. He is within a metal ball as he is within his persona being Other Yukiko's Navigator.
"Go Geppetto, High Jack," he ordered as Satan is under Geppetto's control with the others being surprised by this.
"What happened?" Theo questioned Taichi laughed at them.
"This is my Persona's special ability. I can puppeteer up to three Personas I want and use it against you, my little Pinocchio," Taichi said as he orders Satan to cast Black Viper to unleash black snakes from his mouth to entrap and strike down the trio of Velvet Siblings.
"Gale Slash," she summons the power of wind through her katana and slices the air releasing a barrage of sharp gusts to strike their targets to knock them away.
"Burn," Taichi ordered Satan to unleash waves of flames with Margaret putting up a magical barrier to protect them from the attack.
"Null Magic," Other Yukiko cloaks her blade with energy to rush towards the powerful shield to connect with it. The blade hits through like it was never there and slashes across Margaret's chest shedding blood onto the floor.
"How?!" Margaret is honestly surprised by this.
"It's a special power I trained a long time with and perfected in my fight against the demons. Allowing me to negate magic defensively or offensively. No barrier of yours can stop me," Yukiko said as she comes in with a close-range barrage of slashes to cut off Margaret and Theo pretty well spreading their blood on the ground.
"Oh no, this is not good," Margaret said for she was never pushed this badly before while Other Yukiko is deeply holding back.
Elsewhere Yu and others made it to the Velvet Room entrance in the park nearby. Yu can see the others coming in. "Gee I've seen demons around here, what the hell is going on here?" Chie asked.
"I told the Velvet Room is under attack and they are going after Philemon," Adi said as Marie knows that name.
"Philemon, big nose used to talk about him a lot when I was struck in that place," Marie said.
"Can't believe they are going to do this. Our enemy will be destroyed," Adi said a bit happy about this as Yu doesn't like her line of thought.
"Are you saying Igor and Margaret deserve to die?" Yu questioned as Adi remain steadfast.
"They did nothing for us over on the Other Side. We were abandoned by them when we needed them most and now even when Chaos is at our doorstep. They sit there in that stupid velvet room doing nothing while the world is going to hell," Adi feeling a bit angry at the situation for the Velvet Room left her people to die in the wastelands of the Other Side.
"But still, the destruction of the Velvet Room. Is this what you want?' Yu demanded as Adi stands shaking her head.
"One way or another Philemon has to pay for his crimes. He betted the lives of billions of innocents and they were all killed by a stupid game along with my world. Think about it how they feel about this," Adi said being very persistent with her thought.
"I think we need to focus on the task at hand," Naoto can see the tension between the two.
"Your right, this is your team. Take the lead, I will follow," Adi said calming herself down for them to see a bunch of demons guarding the entrance.
"Halt humans, you can't be here," the demons shout at them as Yu summons his Black Frost to conjure a wall of ice to block the demon's path.
"Blazing Hell," Yu ordered as Black Frost giggles as he snaps his fingers to unleash a plume of flames from underground to overwhelm the group of demons until they turn into ash. "The way is cleared," Yu said as the group goes into the blue door to see nothing but chaos within the huge space.
"This looks way different than last time," Marie said as it used to be a car and now it's a huge space with twisting hallways and spacious rooms.
"We got to keep moving," Yu said as several Howlers and Seekers blocked their path.
"Don't get in our way," Yosuke used his twin daggers to slice up incoming Seekers with Chie kicking Howlers into walls.
Naoto is blasting away Seekers with her magnum shots while Marie tosses orbs of light to strike down nearby flying enemies.
Kanji bashes incoming enemies with his fists and shield while Yukiko burns away any nearby enemies with her fire spells.
Rise is spreading water over the demons with Teddie freezing them with his ice magic. Yu spreads out waves of lightning to blast the frozen demons to bloody pieces. Adi gathers all the remaining enemies in a field of gravity with her to swiftly teleport and use her Gravity Kick to reduce them all to a bloody paste.
"No one will get in the way of Mistress Yukiko in gaining the revenge of her world and her people," a huge demon called a Hydra busts through a wall to unleash a jet of flaming gas. Rise sets up a barrier to protect them against the attack with Adi gathering the gas into a gravity sphere to toss it back at the Hydra. The demon tanks its own attack as it slams its head onto the floor unleashing a shockwave to knock everyone away.
"I can't let you hurt my friends, Igor and Margaret," Yu draws his sword to speed towards the beast to summon one of his Persona Black Frost. He releases lightning crescents to crave into the scales of the beast with Black Frost casting waves of icy blocks to slam into the demon.
"Your friends are attached to a mass murderer Philemon who has doomed both your worlds. Your statement is a bit misguided," Hydra said as he lunges at the duo. Black Frost entombs the head with ice while Yu slices the head of the neck.
The body is still alive as it pounds its feet onto the ground to unleash shockwaves with everyone trying to avoid. "That is not why we are here," Yu said as the Hydra made two more heads to unleash bolts of lightning to strike Yu to send him flying against the room.
Black Frost gets hit as well to send him crashing into a wall with Yu summoning him back to switch to Undine with the others backing him up. "Gee, this thing has more heads," Kanji said as he deflects away a lunging head with his shield to punch it away. He follows up by zapping it with a lightning bolt with Naoto blasting the first head doing some damage.
"I will not be bested so easily by humans along with a false goddess," Hydra said as it blasted the duo with beams of darkness to knock them away.
"False Goddess or not, my duty is protecting Inaba and your mistress is trying to destroy it. Get out of our way, Shining Arrows," Marie conjures a shower of light arrows to pepper the beast doing a great amount of damage.
"Yeah, rip and tear," Chie stomps onto the ground to summon a spear of stone to impale into a snake head with Yukiko using her flame-infused fan to slice off the head from the neck. The second head goes in to grab Yosuke biting into his chest.
"Yosuke!" Yu and the others said as he gets tossed into a wall.
"You humans are so weak and fragile," the Hydra said with its second head.
"Stupid demon, take this," Chie rushes in to toss spikes of rocks with the second head knocking them away.
"Don't get cocky, Poison Mist," Hydra spreads out waves of poison gas from its mauls to engulf Chie with it.
"Chie!" Yukiko said as Chie has been poisoned with her body shaking violently, her skin getting pale and her throwing up vomit onto the floor. The Hydra strikes Chie with an energy blast to send her flying across the room.
"Try again," Hydra makes two more heads from the severed neck slot.
"Aqua Laser," Rise gathers water into her palms and unleashes the high-pressure beam of water to crave into the beast and split the head from the neck. Suddenly two more heads take their place with all four heads unleashing beams of fire to melt the floor.
Adi uses her gravity spheres to collect Yosuke and Chie off the battlefield before they get burned to death. Adi gathers gravity energy into her palms and tosses a rapid amount of gravity spheres to pin down the body to limit its movement.
"Why even come here Traitor, you hate Philemon just like the rest. Why help them stop it?" the Hydra asked sounding confused by her actions.
"I like these guys, they are silly and naive but they are my friends. I am going to support them in helping save Margaret and Igor. Nothing more," Adi said as she still hates Philemon but they will save them for Yu's sake.
"Sensei, thanks," Yu said as Adi nodded her head. Yu lets Undine spray a barrage of bubbles to pepper the beast with explosive water bubbles. "Liquid Voice," he commanded as the mermaid spirit unleashes a powerful sing in the form of water circles to slam into the monster doing some damage.
"Photon Geyser," Rise conjures pillars of light to merge from the floor to tear into the demon. One of the heads goes for Kanji with him rolling out of the way.
He grabs the demon's head to hold it down with Naoto popping bullets into its skull. Kanto punches it to crash into a wall and then Naoto set off her nuclear-laced bullets to make the head vaporize. "Good work honey," Kanji said to give Naoto a high five.
"Yeah but don't get cocky Kanji, we need to take out the other heads," Naoto said as Kanji blocks a wave of poison gas to get out of the plume.
"Hey babe, give you a lift," Kanji said as she gets on top of Kanji's shield to get pushed high into the sky to dodge incoming lunges from the heads. She fires several shots to land all hits on every head to land powerful explosions but not enough to blow them up.
Rise creates a water whip to leash and slashes at the incoming heads leaving behind bloody cuts. She is dodging and ducking away from the attacks. She puts up a barrier to block incoming poison gas with Yukiko coming over to heal up Yosuke and Chie.
"Gee, they look very bad. I need to patch them up right away," Yukiko said as she cast a green glow over her hands to hover them over the two's bodies to rapidly heal their wounds. Yukiko was more careful to remove Chie's poison from her body.
"Thanks for the help," Yosuke said as Yukiko purges the poison out of Chie's body.
"Thanks for the save, Yukiko. Man, my body was my fire and not in a good way," Chie said as the two are back into fighting shape due to Yukiko's healing magic.
"Don't mention it," Yukiko said as one of the heads lunges towards them. Teddie freezes it with an ice spell and then follows up with a barrage of icicles to stab into the beast's frozen head. Adi casts a Gravity Well to scatter the frozen head and destroy it.
"It's going to keep growing heads. We need to kill all the heads at once to put it down," Adi said as she focuses her magic on its neck to sever it.
"I get it, we need to hit it at once," Rise said.
"You guys know how to do an All-Out Attack?" Adi asked.
"Of course, we do," Yu said as everyone nodded their head.
"Okay, Marie stand back. We will nail it when they finish up. Gravity Well," Adi cast a spell to engulf the beast in a black dome of intense gravity tearing its body to pieces. Yu gives the order for all eight of the original Investigation Team go to target each head getting one for each.
"Let's go All Out Attack," Yu ordered as everyone speed blitzes the monster to rapidly attack the beast as a single unit. Bashing, cutting, and smashing all the heads to destroy all of them at once. Adi made her gravity dome implode causing great damage with Marie preparing for her spell.
"Photon Blaster, go back to hell where you belong," Marie focuses her magic on a single point into the air and unleashed a huge beam of light energy to strike her target reducing it to a bloody mess.
"Hot damn, that was awesome. We still got it," Yosuke said as he high fives Chie and Yu.
"You know it," Chie said as they defeated a strong Demon.
"We need to keep moving forward. Margaret needs us," Yu said as everyone rushed deeper into the besieged Velvet Room.
Within the depths of the Velvet Room, Other Yukiko and Taichi are fighting the trio who are losing to them as Taichi's controlled Satan was destroyed but he keeps high jacking their Personas weakening them over time.
"I think it's time to finish this little dance ourselves," Other Yukiko surges with demonic power to wield her blade to slam through Theo's Personas with ease. He tries to block with his hands but Yukiko stab through them and then kicks him across the room. Taichi is using his puppeteering powers to keep Margaret and Lavenza busy.
"Theo," Margaret is not liking Theo and is getting overwhelmed by Other Yukiko's might.
Theo casts a spell but Other Yukiko uses Null magic to negate his spell with ease. She slashes into his body several times leaving bloody cuts behind. She begins to power up to use a powerful spell. "I will summon fires of hell to burn away all traces of your existence. Fires of Bane," Other Yukiko is engulfed with black fire as a large serpent dragon made of dark flames surrounds her.
All three Velvet siblings are frozen in fear to see this massively powerful fire spell. She sends out the black flaming dragon to aim right for Theo as the two sisters fear the worst to happen.
"Gt out of there now!" Margaret warned as Other Yukiko laughs at this.
"You can't escape my Fires of Bane. It will burn anything in its path, you can't stop it," Other Yukiko said as Theodore puts up a barrier and another Persona to prepare for the attack. Sadly Theodore's defenses were burned away as his barrier gets melted by the very powerful spell. Margaret and Lavenza look on with horror in their eyes to see their brother getting burned away by the powerful fire spell to see no trace left of him.
"Goodness, this isn't happening," Lavenza said as Margaret looks on in disbelief seeing one of her siblings dead.
"I need to meet your boss and you will take up my time," Other Yukiko said as Lavenza is overcome with grief to see one of her family members taken from her by this monster who treats this so casually and coldly.
"You monster, you killed my brother like he was nothing," Lavenza said as Margaret is trying to calm her younger sister down.
"He was nothing and you will be nothing as well," Other Yukiko said with such coldness to her silky voice it feels unreal.
"I will not tolerate this," Lavenza said as she heads for Other Yukiko.
"No, stop. She is toying with you," Margaret said as Lavenza is overcome with emotion over the entire situation falling apart around them.
"I will make you pay for this, Megidolaon," Lavenza ordered as Other Yukiko shakes her head.
"Poor choice for your last words," she said Lavenza let out a powerful spell which got sliced in half by Other Yukiko's sword slash leaving Lavenza in disbelief. "Now you die!" Other Yukiko appeared like a blur to appear behind Lavenza.
Margaret looks on to be confused by this as Lavenza looks like she took no damage but Other Yukiko is wielding her katana blade. Her attack was so fast Margaret or Lavenza didn't notice Other Yukiko managed to slash Lavenza over 100 times in a blink of an eye targeting all fatal areas of her body.
"Big sister, I am so sorry," Lavenza said as she begins to shed tears with Margaret looking on for her little sister is about to die.
"No, no!" Margaret pleaded as Other Yukiko put away her blade which made all her attacks connect instantly. Blood exploded from all her deep wounds across her body flopping onto the floor to die on the spot.
"Poor little girl, she didn't stand a chance. You are next," Other Yukiko said as she swiftly comes up to a shocked Margaret to kick her into a wall. "Five Hundred Stabs," she is thrusting into the broken woman multiple times at lightning speed.
"Stop playing with your food Yukiko. We need to seek out Philemon, the others are here," Taichi said as Margaret slips onto the floor as her blood smeared onto the walls.
"I see, seems like I have a use for you Margaret. You are going to need a pick me up," Other Yukiko places her hand on Margaret's forehead. "I am going to give you demonic energy and you will become a demon. Become my distraction while I deal with your real boss," Other Yukiko said as she begins to corrupt Margaret pumping her with demonic energy.
"No, no!" Margaret screams with agony for Yu hears her painful cries in the distance.
"We need to move now," Yu said for them to run at full speed with demons getting in their way. "Get out of our way," Yu summons Alice onto the field as he cast Bloody Howl creating a dome of darkness to tear into his enemies. "Die For Me," Yu ordered.
"Time to play," Alice pokes her finger to summon a horde of evil-looking teddy bears to act like bombs wiping out an entire group of demons instantly.
"Megidolaon," Yu ordered as Alice pokes her finger again to call upon a sphere of white energy to expand and vaporize anything within its path.
"More things to play with, how fun," Alice said letting out a cute yet creepy smile.
"Gee, she is creepy as always," Yosuke said feeling unnerved by Alice's presence despite how adorable she looks in her blue dress.
"Yeah but she is very strong and reliable," Yu said as Alice floats beside him letting him pat her head.
"Please praise me more," Alice said as she shows a cute smile while being petted by her master.
"Keep it up," Yu said as he uses his blade to crave a path through the demons with Alice blasting them away with Almighty and Curse spells.
"Cybele," Yu summons Cybele with her using her twin blades to tear into the hordes of demons along with her master.
"Time to give punishment to these monsters," Cybele said.
"Stone Edge," Yu ordered as Cybele slashed the ground to unleash waves of stone spikes to pierce a ton of demons impaling them. Cybele uses Brave Blade to sever several demons in half with ease.
Yu switches to Ishtar to use Psycho Force unleashing an explosive wave of psychic energy to blow away hundreds of Demons at once. Yu and Ishtar vaporize them with a barrage of lightning bolts.
"Gee, he is going off," Yosuke said as Yu is like a machine wiping out demons with his skills and wide range of Personas.
"That is why he is the leader," Adi said as she can see the gap between Yu and the others are too much.
"Margaret, hold on tight," Yu feel determined to wipe out a bunch of demons at a time with more pouring around them.
"Gee, they are so many of them," Chie said as they are all trying to kill as many as possible but they keep growing in numbers.
Ishtar lifts several Demons into the air with Yu leaping up and slashing them with his lightning-infused blade to turn into piles of gore and bones.
"You will not pass," Cerberus said as Yu switches to Yoshitsune running beside Yu.
"Slice and dice, use Hassou Tobi," Yu ordered.
"As you wish," Yoshitsune said as they both wield their swords to dodge incoming elemental attacks. They light up their blades with energy to chop into the beast over 200 hundred times in an instant to appear behind the three-headed dog.
They tap their swords to let all 200 slashes hit at once reducing the demon into a bloody corpse. "Petal Blitz," Yu ordered as Yoshitsune cloaks his blade with Nature energy to unleash a whirl of razor-sharp Sakura petals destroying groups of demons.
"Gee, you keep up with your Personas," Adi said.
"Yep I did, I even made a new one recently within the Velvet Room," Yu said as Adi doesn't know this.
"Oh really, I would love to see it in battle soon," Yu switches to Seth for the large black dragon roars above them all shaking the whole Velvet Room from his raw power.
"Time to burn these fiends," Seth's deep voice bellowed as Yu ordered him to use Atomic Flare. Seth spits a huge ball of blue Nuclear energy to destroy a big grouping of enemies in a flash of nuclear energy.
"Talon Scar," Yu commanded as Seth powers up his wings with Wind magic to unleash a massive storm of wind crescents slicing and cutting anything in his path.
"Holy shit, we are in the clear here," Yosuke said as Rise can detect more Demons nearby.
"That is not a lot of them, tons of Lesser demons are still around poisoning this place," Rise said as they approach the battlefield where the Velvet Siblings were fighting but what they saw was a massacre. Margaret is lying on the ground holding onto the corpse of her dead little sister.
"Oh my god," Adi said as they see Margaret crying overflowing with dark power. "Oh no," Adi said as Yu and the others approached the sad woman trying to check on her.
"Margaret," Yu said as he looks upon her face to be covered with tears. He has never seen Margaret like this before. "She was always in control of the situation but now she is an emotional mess. I can't blame her," Yu feels sympathy for her.
"Theo and Lavenza, they are all dead. Killed by that wicked woman who shares her face," Margaret points to Yukiko to know Other Yukiko was the one who did all this damage.
"Damn it, she is on her way to the center of this place," Adi said.
"She is going to turn Lord Philemon into a demon," Margaret said as everyone is surprised by this.
"What?!" everyone said as Adi feels very uneasy about this.
"Philemon is the most powerful being in this world. If he becomes a demon, we are screwed," Adi said.
"My little brother and sister are dead because I was too weak," Margaret said in a sorrowful tone.
"Margaret," Yu said sadly as Margaret's body is spiking with demonic power to push them all back.
"I can't control myself," Margaret said as her sadness is empowering her demonic power. "I was told to hold you all off until her mission is complete," Margaret said as she closes the door behind her.
"Damn it, Yu is corrupted with demonic energy. Soon she will be a slave to Other Yukiko and become a demon," Adi said as this pisses off Yu to no end.
"I can't believe this. Margaret," Yu said as Marie looks on to be distressed by how much pain Margaret is going through.
"Please Margaret, come to your senses," Marie said.
"Yu and Marie, soon. I will not be able to control myself. I will not be myself anymore and I will be a slave to that woman's will. I need you to kill me to stop me," Margaret said. Yu and Marie were surprised by everyone else but they both took this harder.
"You can't be serious," Yu said.
"There has to be another way around this," Marie said as Adi shakes her head to agree with Margaret.
"Yes once the demonic power gets flowing, there is no turning back. You know how powerful the Velvet Siblings are but if they become Demons, they will be too powerful to stop. We need to take her out before that happens," Adi said as she can see the looks on Marie's and Yu's faces. "I am sorry," she said.
"No, you are right. I don't want her to become a monster and be used as a tool. We will set you free Margaret," Yu said.
"Yeah, count on us," Marie said as Margaret nods her head but she moves to the wall to create a circle magic barrier to protect herself and the door.
"Thank you, I will not be holding back. Prepare yourselves," Margaret said to see energy orbs moving around the barrier to begin shooting beams of magical energy.
Kanji dodges the incoming energy beams and he releases a bolt of lightning to strike the barrier but nothing happens. "What the hell?" he questioned to do no damage to her shield wall.
"Don't bother, my barrier is too strong for such an attack," Margaret said with her body being warped by the demonic power making her yellow eyes glow bright red and her skin becoming pale white showing off her veins.
Kanji gets hit by one of the beams knocking him onto the floor. He took a big hit as Kanji spits blood onto the floor. "Kanji," Naoto is worried about him as she is shooting the wall but none of her nuclear shots are doing no damage.
"That doesn't work," she thought as Yu rushed at the barrier trying to hit it with his sword. Margaret is making stone pillars pop out of the floor with Yu evading them as he is getting closer to the barrier. He leaps on top of a pillar as spikes appear around the ever-growing pillars. He is hopping from one pillar to another as the energy structures emit energy pulses trying to push her into the spikes.
Yu jumps to another pillar but it fires off a pulse to knock him out of the air. He is falling towards the spike. "I got you," Adi said grabbing him within a gravity orb to launch him towards the barrier. He slams his sword on the glowing white barrier but it does no damage and making him bounce off it.
Yu regains his balance to avoid incoming gemstones and spikes from nearby pillars. Rise noticed three magic spheres moving around the shield as a thought popped into her head.
"I wonder," she said as she slashes the air to make a water crescent to strike the orb destroying it. "Guys, I bet those orbs are the things powering up the shield. Smash them," she said as she avoids the incoming beams of energy.
"Gee, this is insane," Teddie summons an ice wall to block an energy beam but he gets hit with a row of rocks erupting from the floor.
"Got you," Margaret said as she encircles Teddie within a barrier to prepare for a powerful spell. "No escape, Judgement," Margaret summons a series of bolts of lightning to strike Teddie then follows up with a massive bolt of lightning to strike him unleashing a massive blast. This was strong enough to knock Teddie out of his Fusion state and knock him out of the battle.
"Teddie," Yu and the others said as he is badly hurt from that spell.
"Damn it," Kanji said as he uses his shield to block incoming spells and attacks but he gets trapped in a barrier about to get nuked with a powerful spell.
"Be gone, Ice Tornado," Margaret conjures a fierce icy twister within the barrier to trap Kanji inside getting cut and freezing at the same time. She snaps her fingers to do enough damage to knock him out of his Fusion state and be badly injured.
"Kanji no!" Naoto shouted as they were deeply being pushed by Margaret's increased power with it only growing stronger by the minute.
Margaret noticed two orbs remain on the shield keeping the barrier up. "Not good," Margaret changes her moves to clear out the pillars and spikes. She fires gemstones and shockwaves towards the group with Rise putting up a barrier to block the moves.
"Gee, only two left. We need to push through," Rise is going to do the Valor Song but there are too many things that can easily kill her if she drops her guard while performing the magical song.
"We need to get to those orbs," Adi said as she is bashing summoning pillars with Yu preparing to use his brand-new Persona.
"Cleopatra, come on," Yu summons a beautiful shapely woman based on the ancient Egyptian queen behind him.
"What is your wish master?" Cleopatra questioned as she sees a bunch of energy attacks but she emits a barrier to block it.
"Time to go nuts. Maire back me up," Yu said.
"Right," Marie said as the two rush towards the Rise protecting the others from the magical onslaught. Margaret summons a pillar trying to smash them but Marie leaps on it and uses the attack to launch the orb. "Shining Arrows," she said as she cut it down as there is only one orb left.
The defenses are greatly weakened as Yu is dodging incoming spells with Cleopatra blocking and deflecting spells away. "Last one, go now," Yu said as Cleopatra powers up her Light Spell.
"Dazzle Ray," Cleopatra unleashes her light spell to strike down the last orb to break the barrier to leave Margaret vulnerable.
The barrier causes an explosion to knock Marie, Yu, and Margaret onto the floor. They got up quickly as they go after Margaret still trying to hit them with powerful spells but Cleopatra deflects them away with her barrier. Marie is casting barrages of light orbs to strike Margaret.
"Gravity Well," Yu ordered as Cleopatra gathers gravity energy into her palms to toss out orbs to connect to create a dome of intense gravity pinning her down left open to an attack. "God Hand," he creates energy hands to reach and slam into Margaret to knock her into the door leaving a dent behind.
He withdraws the energy hands into his own to power up his strength. "Machine Blitz," Yu hits Margaret with his fist to begin hitting her several times. 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, and so on. The punches increase in strength and speed with Margaret feeling like her body is about to fall apart.
He keeps punching her until he lands his 500th punch to slam Margaret into the door so hard it breaks the huge door in half. He grabs her arm to bash her into the ground multiple times and tosses her into the air. Cleopatra casts Gravity Well to pin her to the floor to get ready for their next move.
"Mind Charge," Yu said as Cleopatra powers up her next spell by tripling it in power. "Dazzle Ray," he ordered.
"This is the end," Cleopatra said as she unleashes a massive beam of light to head for Margaret. She begins to shed tears from this to be proud of Yu for defeating her beyond her full power. She gets hit full force to take the explosive force and she is defeated with her body broken and battered from the battle.
"We did it," Adi said as everyone didn't feel happy about this victory they have to kill a close ally of the team. Yu and Marie go over to Margaret to comfort her.
"Margaret, I am so sorry," Marie said wanting to cry there.
"Don't be, you have played this well. You have grown so much Marie, my life is not wasted," Margaret said.
"Margaret," Marie said sadly as Margaret looks at Yu who is holding onto her.
"This is a kind of romantic don't you think?" Margaret questioned.
"Don't talk, I wish we were here sooner. Then you and other siblings would be still alive," Yu said feeling regret aching within his heart.
"Yes, I never expected someone so powerful and ruthless like that Other Yukiko but what's done is done. You have grown as well. That Persona you used was the last one I helped you with. As the Wild Card, you have the power to change fate. I know you will win in the end and avenge our deaths," Margaret said as she reaches out to touch his cheek.
Yu looks upon her lovely face to see her eyes are losing light showing she is close to death's door. "Thanks for everything Margaret. It's been an honor," Yu said as Margaret reaches up to kiss him on the cheek.
"The pleasure is all mine, good luck," Margaret said as Yu feels her body go limp and lifeless for her wounds caught up with her.
"Damn it, why?" Yu held back his sadness with Rise came up to him to place a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"Yu," Rise said softly. "We need to stop this and no one else has to get hurt," she said as Yu nods his head as she hugs him to make him feel better.
"Thanks," Yu said as Rise kisses him on the lips and pat him on the cheek.
"No problem, we need to go deeper within the Velvet Room to find Other Yukiko," Rise said as she senses more demons coming their way. "Oh no, more of these bastards," she said.
"Yeah we need to hold the fort here while Yu go deeper inside," Adi said to look to him. "Do you know how to use your Stage 2 state?' Adi asked.
"Yeah I need to use all my Personas at once to activate it but I can't use other Personas within that state," Yu said.
"Well, I entrust you to stop Philemon. When he turns into a full Demon, it will be game over if he leaves this place," Adi said as Yu nods his head. He switches to Seth to ride on the black dragon's back and go flying toward the inner areas of the Velvet Room.
"Good luck baby, make me proud," Rise said as she leads the group in his place. "Come on guys, let's kick some ass," Rise said for the team to protect the entrance.
Elsewhere Other Yukiko managed to get to the center of the Velvet Room to see Igor tending to his Master Philemon. "Halt, you can't be here," Igor said as Other Yukiko blasts him with a powerful light spell to knock him into a wall. She soon comes face to face with the man who had set in motion all the nonsense that is happening right now.
"Philemon, time for you to pay for your mistakes," Other Yukiko said as she pulls out demonic energy for a tall male donning a white suit to appear before her.
"So, you have come from the Other Side to claim your revenge against me?" he asked.
"Yes, your actions have made the Chaos and now both of these worlds are in danger. You need to pay for your crimes and your punishment is to become a demon to serve me," Other Yukiko tosses an orb of demonic energy to transfer it into Philemon.
"Oh no, what have you done?" he questioned as his body is getting overwhelmed by the corruption of the dark power.
"Since you are the being made from Humans, you are very vulnerable to demonic energy and soon you will be a demon. One way or another you will be punished," Other Yukiko said as she sensed Yu coming here via Seth. "You have a guest. Win or lose. I win in the end. Have fun," Other Yukiko said as she and Taichi teleport out of there to leave the two to fight each other.
Yu lands on the platform with Seth beside him. He sees Philemon and Igor not looking so good. "This is not going well," Yu can sense Igor merging with Philemon to give him his strength trying to fend off the poisonous demonic energy that is flowing through his body now.
"So, you have arrived, you were one of Igor's Wild Cards. I need your help, this power is warping my body and I will not be able to hold it back. I need you to do me a favor," Philemon said as Yu is wielding his sword.
"Killing you to prevent you from becoming a demon right?" Yu asked.
"Yes, you need to destroy me. So, I can be reborn again but within my current state will be a very long time," Philemon said as a maelstrom of demonic energy is surrounding him. This spike in power is shaking the area around him as Philemon emerges to become a giant golden head with two hovering hands.
Yu deactivates his Fusion form to begin the process. "Okay here we go," Yu pulls out his deck of Person cards to put them up into the air. "Black Frost/ Fire & Ice, Seth/ Nuclear & Wind, Ishtar/ Lightning & Psychokinesis, Cybele/ Earth, Undine/ Water, Alice/ Darkness & Almighty, Cleopatra/ Light & Gravity and Yoshitsune/ Nature. Come together for the ultimate Persona. Izanagi-no-Okami comes forth," Yu thrust the Fusion Gem in front to take in all his other Personas transforming Izanagi into his true form.
"Show me the power of Human Potential, Judgement," Philemon casts a powerful lightning to strike at Yu but a massive burst of power explodes from Yu's body overwhelming the spell negating it.
"I will show you what Human willpower looks like. God Hand," Yu conjures an energy fist to slam into the face of the golden head of Philemon knocking him into a wall. Within the light comes Yu in his fusion form of Izanagi-no-Okami sporting a similar outfit. "Let's get crazy Philemon," Yu said as his katana blade has become more elegant. Yu prepares to fight Corrupt Philemon becoming the most powerful being he has faced yet. "Rise, Adi, and everyone give me the strength to fight," Yu said like a silent prayer to go off into the battle.
Elsewhere the others noticed the demons are retreating for them to be very confused by this. "What is happening, why are they running away?" Marie asked.
"They have completed their task and now they are leaving. She must have gotten to Philemon already," Adi said as they can feel the presence of two beings. One is more powerful than the other.
"Holy Crap, that is Philemon's power. It's impressive but Yu's power shines like a star within the darkness of space," Rise is in awe of how strong Yu is becoming.
"Yes, it is awesome. The Fusion Gem is meant to bring out the full potential of Humanity. This willpower has the power to surpass time and space, give the power to kill a god even the creator itself," Adi said in an impassionate tone for all humans have the power to change destiny.
"The power to change destiny itself and kill a god," Rise thought about this as they rest up before going after Yu. "Are you happy about Philemon getting killed?" Rise asked.
"To be honest, he is going to be punished one way or another. His actions have caused undone suffering and the birth of Chaos due to his reckless choices. This can't be swept away," Adi said matter-of-factly.
"I see, let's hope for the best and wish Senpai to come back safely," Rise said as Adi nods her head.
"Yeah, I would like that too," Adi said as Rise wishes for her husband to stay strong and come back.
Back with Yu dodging Philemon's energy blasts as he is using his sword to bat away the energy attacks. He is using his newfound speed to evade and reach Philemon to shove his hand onto his face to blast him with a powerful wind spell to knock him away. He gets back onto the floor to charge up his blade to lease out energy crescents to crave into his face.
"Aqua Laser," Yu unleashes a beam of water to strike the head as he is amazed by all the elements at his command. "All the 13 magical elements at my command. I can get creative with this," Yu thought as Philemon is summon stone pillars setting up magical cages trying to imprison him. "Oh, I am not falling for that trick again," Yu summons an earth pillar underneath to push him up into the air.
"Submit," Philemon said as he creates magic orbs to seek out their targets while trying to grab them with his huge floating hands. Yu casts Gravity onto himself leaving him to warp away from the seeking magic orbs while he slices up incoming orbs.
Several orbs distract him while the hands grab him to try to crush him. He gathers energy into his body to unleash a 360-degree fire blast to blow the hands away as he uses a magic circle to act as a platform to make him double-jump into the air to slice up the remaining energy orbs.
"Photon Cannon," Philemon opens his mouth to shoot a huge beam of light. Yu catches it with his blade and pushes back to slap it away to run towards the floating head. "Stand back," he is firing rapid shots of light orbs.
"Water Clone Barrage," Yu summons a bunch of water clones of himself to send them out. He is blasting them out of existence but some of them got in range and exploded on contact. "Thunder Reign," he tosses giant lightning bolts to slam into the head.
Philemon summons a barrier but Yu slices up the magical shield with ease. He uses God's Hand to make an energy fist to bash into his forehead to knock him down onto the floor. "Grave," Yu uses a spell to conjure a bunch of sharp stony spikes to dig into the giant head doing more damage.
He closes in and makes several energy fists to punch into Philemon several times and then uses a strong blow to knock him into a wall leaving a dent behind. "Thunderous Rend," he cloaks his blade with electricity and slashes Philemon's head several times leaving his mark to follow up with Cross Slash doing even more damage.
Philemon leashes out with a big wind blast to knock Yu away as he summons a wall of earth to block incoming large fists. He made the stone wall explode to stun Philemon. Yu powers up his blade to release several fiery crescents.
Yu sets up big flower bulbs to act like turrets to aim their explosive seeds at Philemon. "Clever," Philemon commented as he is getting pushed back by the flower turrets. He slams his fists into the floor to generate shockwaves to wipe out the turrets.
"Gravity Well," he tosses orbs of gravity to trap him in a dome of intense gravity. "Transcendence," Yu creates a field of gravity around them to begin warping and jumping around slashing into Philemon overwhelming him with powerful sword strikes.
"Enough," Philemon pinches Yu but he managed to block the strike with his sword. He delivers another punch, Yu is ready for this one.
"Counter Slash," he blocks the blow and then follows up with a powerful counterattack doing enough damage to destroy one of his hands. Philemon groans in pain as he is impressed with Yu's power. "Impressive, show me more of your power," Philemon summons pillars of light around Yu with him dodging and teleporting away.
"Reflect," Yu makes a magical barrier to block and deflect away several pillars in other directions. "Megidolaon," he tosses two energy orbs that strike Philemon to expand and grow engulfing the big head and causing some severe damage.
Philemon is making rows of rocky spears head for Yu as he uses his teleport to move away as he releases wind energy crescent to slice through the rock spears and slash into the face of Philemon several times. "Psychic Force," Yu whipped out a massive wave of telekinesis to send the head flying into a wall and then caught him with psychic power to pull him towards Yu.
"Heavenly Blade," he cloaks his katana with almighty energy to begin letting out a barrage of powerful sword swings craving deep into the face He thrust his blade with an explosive force to knock him down. "Water Clone Barrage," he summons a bunch of water clones to rush towards him and explode on contact.
Philemon tries to grab him with his last arm but Yu moves backward to leave behind a water clone getting grabbed instead. The water clone explodes as Yu uses Ice Age to freeze the hand making it frozen solid. He uses a gravity wave to break it making it disappear leaving only Philemon's head behind.
"This is the final stage, I hope you are ready," Philemon begins to charge up his final attack.
"That is my line," Yu is going to use his own spell.
"Armageddon R," Philemon unleashes an extremely powerful wave of energy destroying anything in its path.
"Myriad Truths," Yu conjures three powerful orbs of almighty energy to toss them at the shockwave to clash. The two spells are trying to overpower the other until the triple sphere slams through Armageddon R and nails Philemon unleashing a mighty explosion that engulfs him.
"This is Human Potential, such a beautiful thing," Philemon is fading away within the bright light to disappear within it. Yu is on his knees to depower down as he regains his Personas back for he is back into his human state.
"Gee, that was tiring," Yu feeling like he is going to pass out. Rise, Adi, and the others appeared to see the battlefield littered with reminders of the fierce battle between Corrupt Philemon and Izanagi-no-Okami fused Yu.
"Senpai, are you okay?" Rise goes up to him to give him a big hug making sure he is okay.
"Yep I am fine, I managed to get rid of Philemon," Yu said as Adi is deeply proud of him.
"You did well," Adi said.
"Gee man, looks like a Shonen fight from our angle," Yosuke said as the others were beyond impressed by his feat.
"You were beyond badass Senpai," Kanji said.
"Cool beyond cool," Teddie said.
"That is why you are our leader," Chie said.
"Reliable as always," Yukiko said.
"I can second that," Naoto said.
"Managing to beat the old man is not bad," Marie said.
"Senpai, you are truly amazing," Rise kisses him on his lips several times.
"Okay, guys stop stroking his dick. We managed to stop Philemon and Margaret from becoming demonic tools to our enemies. We need to get out of here, the demons are warping this place apart," Adi said as Yu summons Seth for everyone to get onto his back to ride out of there with the Velvet Room falling apart around them.
They got out of there because the blue door disappeared. "Well, I am beyond tired. Let's get back home and rest up. This is too much going on at once," Adi said.
"Good idea. I am beaten," Yosuke said as Yu has his mind on Margaret and the destruction of the Velvet Room.
"Hey, still thinking about Margaret?" Marie asked as Yu nodded his head. "Yeah, we are going to make that woman pay for what she did. That place is not going to come back for a long time with it being infected with demonic energy," Marie said as everyone parted ways with them preventing Philemon and Margaret from becoming demons but losing the Velvet Room and everyone in it in the progress.
