Chapter 16: Girl's Night Out
On top of a roof, a mysterious woman appears to look over the zoo to be pleased with all the test subjects she can use with her powers. "Seems like the best place to test, I am here sir," she said on her comlink within her ear.
"Good Mother, I need to test your powers and start converting the animals into demons. I want Project Rebirth to be on schedule," the man said.
"Yes Director Mako, it will be done," Mother said as she disappears within the shadows preying on anything in her path.
Mako is in his office to look over his laptop to show data on Demon sightings within Japan in recent months. "Seems like the new group is coming in," Mako said as he has records of Yu and others within his database. "They wield a new power I don't know of yet. This is worth looking into because they are not using demonic power but the raw power of humanity itself," Mako thought as he thinks this is a bad idea.
"Foolish, humanity is not enough. We need to go beyond and Project Avatar must come through or that Chaos leaking into the world would ruin everything I am trying to build here. A better Japan made from the ideals of the past and purge the rot of the present. My Lone Stars are doing quite well to scare off these dirty foreigners here," Mako said.
"We have all this beauty and it's wasted on these foreign trash. In my perfect Japan, they will be wiped out and keep this nation pure and bright. Heading for the future but the Projects Avatar and Project Rebirth must be complete before my dream can begin," Mako said as he laughs at him.
"My grandfather has done great service for this nation and now it's my time to keep those ideals going. Making Japan wonderful and bright once again," he thought as he is putting his Lone Stars to whip up trouble within the nation and pressuring the people to reject the non-Japanese people.
Within a few days after the zoo, summer vacation is almost here for Nanako. Rise, and Yu along with the others are excited to hang out with their favorite girl Nanako. Yu is going to deliver some tofu dishes to customers with Rise cooking some food for some people.
"Hello Big Sis," Nanako comes into the shop still wearing her school uniform.
"Oh hey, there sweetheart. You want some food?" Rise asked.
"Yes please, where is big bro at?" Nanako asked as she goes over to a booth to sit down waiting for her order.
"Oh, he is going out to deliver some orders for people. He will be back soon," Rise said as the young teenager nods her head.
"Okay, things are coming down. I got tests and they were pretty hard," Nanako said.
"Oh yeah tests are around this time, right before you go on summer break," Rise said as Nanako is excited about this.
"Yes, and it's going to be so much fun. I am going to spend it with my friends and you guys," Nanako said.
"We are going to the beach soon. You can hang out with us," Rise said.
"Oh really, I got this cute bathing suit. I think it looks nice on me," Nanako said.
"Oh, I bet, you are becoming a young lady. Better keep a stick around to keep the guys away," Rise said.
"Guys huh?" she wondered.
"So do you have a crush on someone?" Rise asked as Nanako glows in the face.
"There is this guy who seems very nice to me," Nanako said as Rise looks deeply interested.
"Oh, interesting little one, just don't tell Yu about this. He can be protective at times," Rise said as Nanako nods her head.
"Yeah, he does but he cares," Nanako said as she still deeply loves him like a proper older sibling.
"I care too, I will aid you in your little love fest when you need to," Rise said.
"Oh, I already asked about the bees and the birds with Dad. It was very awkward," Nanako said as Rise giggles at this.
"Oh, I bet, you kids grow up so fast," Rise said.
"Oh, I have been doing well in my archery club. I am one heck of a crack shot with my bow," Nanako said as Rise finds this interesting.
"Oh, you are like the pink Featherman right?" Rise asked as her old friend/ fellow Lovers Arcana Yukari Takeba was the Pink Featherman for several years and is a master with her bow and arrows.
"Yeah, she is so cool and pretty," Nanako said.
"Yeah, Yukari Senpai is something else. So cool and mature," Rise said as she looks up to her and wishes she can talk with her more recently.
"Oh, you know her, that is so cool. Big sis," Nanako said.
"Yeah, I am pretty amazing. I do know people from my time as an idol. Speaking of which, like any new ones lately," Rise said as Nanako thinks about this.
"There is this new idol called Sakura with pink dyed hair but she is very annoying," Nanako said as Rise nods her head.
"Of course, you have good taste. That woman is so fake and corporate-made. She is a big supporter of the Lone Stars," Rise said as she feels uneasy someone is using idol culture to push some bigoted narrative.
"Those guys were terrible to Alice. They were mean to her because of her skin tone. It's not right," Nanako said.
'Yes, but some people want to push ideas like this because they can't let go of the past. This nation has a lot of rot within it," Rise said as Adi always talks about how the social rot of this country is holding back its true potential. "Shido despite being defeated, his influence is still spreading like a virus. More nationalist garbage," Rise thought as she kept these thoughts to herself to keep the talking light with Nanako. "We should talk about something else. Can you show me how you use your bow?" she asked as Nanako nods her head.
"Sure, set up some targets and I can light them up," Nanako said as she pulls out her compact bow which is folded within her bag. She sets it up to be able to use it as she has a few rubber arrows in her box. "Come on, let's go," Nanako said as they go outside in the backyard to show off her skills.
Rise puts up several cans on a table with her getting behind Nanako. "Okay, here we go," Rise said as Nanako puts an arrow on the string to take aim and control her breath. She fires an arrow to strike the can with ease as she follows off with a few more shots to take out the cans seamlessly. "Very impressive Nanako," Rise said as she can imagine using those skills when she becomes a Persona User.
"I have been practicing. Miss Adi was pushing me to be better," Nanako said.
"No kidding huh," Rise said as Adi is preparing her to become one of them someday.
"Oh, I need to get back. My show is now, thanks for the meal big sis. See you later," Nanako said as she goes out of the tofu shop.
She sees Yu coming up the street with his scooter to park by the house. "Hey Nanako," Yu said as Nanako waves to him.
"Hey there Big bro. Sorry, I need to get back home and watch my show. I will talk with you later," Nanako said as she goes off back home.
"Hey baby, I talked with Nanako. She is growing up pretty fast," Rise said.
'Yeah it was just yesterday, she was a cute little girl but now she is talking about boys and fashion," Yu said as he is a bit worried about her. Rise goes up to him and places her hand on his shoulder.
"She is a very smart girl, she can handle herself," Rise said.
"I know but it's the guys I am worried about," Yu said as Rise gives him a lewd look.
"Senpai, you were quite the horn dog even back then," Rise said poking at his chest.
"You were around, can't help myself especially you showing off your legs in that skirt," Yu said.
"Yeah, you always stare but sadly they are too small for me now to wear for two big reasons," Rise said as she cups her large breasts to show how much she has grown in the last several years.
"That is too bad," Yu said.
"I can wear another uniform which can fit me. I can do it for you on one of our dirty nights," Rise said with a red flush across her face.
"That would be wonderful," Yu said.
"Hey, I am going to go out with the girls tonight to Okina City. Me, Yukiko, Chie, Naoto, and Adi are going to have a lot of fun," Rise said.
"I hope you do, I got to do some stuff for my mom," Yu said as Rise prepares to go out with her female friends later that night.
She goes into the bathroom to look at the mirror. She takes off her outfit only wearing a blue bra and matching panties which fit her curvy body quite well and show off her beautiful light skin.
"I wonder if Senpei would like me wearing this," Rise thought pleasantly. She takes off her underwear to go into the shower as the warm water washed over her worn body to feel so refreshed.
"Wow, that feels so good. I needed that," Rise thought as she gets out of the shower to put on a new pair of underwear to put on a purple blouse, a black knee-length skirt, and blue shoes. She dries out her hair and puts on a blue hairband. She looks at the mirror to look and feel very pretty.
"Well baby, I will be going on with the girls," Rise said as she goes into the living room to show off her outfit to go out with the girls.
"Very pretty," Yu said as he kisses her before leaving. "Have fun," he said as she waves to him.
"I will, bye," she said as she gets onto her scooter to drive off to the train station to get a train to Okina City.
"Yo Rise," Adi said as she approaches her from the side. She was waiting for her on the bench. "The others are in the city already, the next train will take us there," Adi said.
"Okay, you look cute for an old lady," Rise teases as Adi is wearing a simple green dress highlighting her pear-shaped figure like her hips, thighs, and bum.
"I am in my mid-30s, I am not old yet missy," Adi said as Rise giggles at this.
"Well, I am too old to be an idol. They always look for fresh meat aka jailbait to make them look as cute and innocent as possible," Rise said as they stand on the platform to wait for the train to come.
"You innocent, seriously," Adi said in a teasing tone.
"Yes, but I was like that as Risette. I try to clean up my image and be more like myself but it got pushback from my fans. Sometimes people don't want a real personality, they just want a fantasy almost to the point of discomfort," she said as Rise feels sad about it.
"Having regrets?" Adi asked.
"None at all, I made some people happy and that's what matters to me. I did my time and now I can live my life like a normal woman. Running the family business, married to a great guy, got great friends, and planning to have kids soon. Life is good for me," Rise said as they see the train coming in.
"Well sounds like a dream. How many kids?" she asked as Rise puts up her fingers to show 3 to 4 fingers making Adi surprised by this. "Holy Crap, are you a rabbit?" she asked.
"I always wanted a big family, so I wanted this for a long time. He is cool with it, little Rises and Yus running around. It would be so precious," Rise said.
"That's cute, hopefully, I can be a godmother," Adi joked.
"You can be if you want," Rise said as Adi looks surprised by this.
"Seriously?" Adi asked.
"Yes, you have been like a big sister to me for a long time. I would be honored if you were a godmother to my future children," Rise said as she truly respect her Sensei which made Adi feel happy about this.
"Oh well, that would be nice. I will consider it," Adi said as Rise nods her head.
"Thank you Sensei, you are the best," Rise said with a smile as their train arrived to get inside. They sit down on the seats with them watching the sun coming down. "The stars are lovely here," Rise said.
"Yes, a perk of living in the countryside. No light polluting up the night sky," Adi said as they head for Okina City.
Within no time, they arrived at the city as they step out of the train to see the city before them. "Oh boy, that was a nice ride. No perverts in sight. Let's meet up with the other ladies at the shops," Rise said as Adi nods her head to get out of the station to be within the center of the city of Okina. "These people live in happiness despite the demons roaming around," Rise said.
They are going through the crowds of people with nighttime coming into the city casting the light of the moon onto the buildings and streets. "Seems like the government is keeping things under wraps. Most of all the demons attacks are within Inaba and rarely this place," Adi said as they finally reaches the department store where there is a nice selection of clothes and other supplies to choose from.
"Hey guys what's up," Chie said as she goes to hug them both.
"Good to see you here," Yukiko said.
"Nice outfits guys," Rise said as Yukiko is wearing a nice blue dress fitting her slender figure. Chie has a yellow top and white shorts while Naoto is wearing a blue blouse and black jeans while wearing her blue cap.
"Thanks, nice outfit. It makes certain things notable," Chie said as Rise's blouse shows off her cleavage.
"I wanted to show off and feel pretty," Rise said.
"We are here in this department store. I need some new clothes; they might have something nice," Chie said as they shop through the aisles seeing all the different fashions on display.
An older female store client approaches Rise as she looks over some of the underwear. "Madam, do you need help with anything?" she asked.
"This bra is a bit too small for me, do you have them bigger?" Rise asked.
"What's your cup size sweetheart?" she asked.
"I'm a 32F," Rise said.
"Oh sorry, we don't have bigger sizes for this bra," the woman said as she sighs.
"Oh, this was cute. I'll go somewhere else for this," Rise said as she moves to the lingerie picking up a silky pair of blue panties with lace on top. "Wonder if Yu would like me in this," Rise through as she just imagines Yu saying something dirty in her ear which she blushes at the mere thought.
"Damn, you got some seriously big cheeks to fill those out," Chie said as Rise turns around seeing a smiling woman behind her not paying attention caught up in her fantasy.
"Yeah, you didn't notice," Rise teases her as Chie looks down to see her skirt hugging her shapely bottom while showing off her nice legs.
"Gee, who would be noticed your big behind," Chie said.
"Senpai seems to like it," Rise teased as Chie frowns at this.
"Gee, this woman is so dangerous," Chie said as Rise has a teasing laugh.
"Just kidding Chie. You got a cute sports bra there," Rise said to see Chie holding a green sports bra with a white polka dot design.
"Yeah, a few of my old ones were worn down. Getting some cute ones is in order," Chie said.
"I need some too. Keeping my girls down is deeply needed," she said.
"Clearly," Chie said dryly to see Rise's big chest shaking under her top.
"Oh, this looks pretty nice," Yukiko said to see a black one-piece bathing suit which has white frills.
"Oh, these are so cute and graceful just like you Yukiko," Rise said.
"Well going to the beach would be a great time to cool off," Yukiko said.
"Yes, I got myself a nice swimwear which would complement me," Naoto said.
"Oh, I can't wait to see you rocking a one-piece Naoto. I bet you are so cute," Rise said.
"Yeah, it's almost the end of July and Nanako would be out of middle school. We can take her with us and enjoy the sun," Adi said.
"Indeed, hey Naoto. How about this hat," Rise said as she shows her a straw hat to place it on her head.
"It's cute, could go well with a sundress," Naoto said.
"Oh, I know right, I got a few sundresses I want to use for the summer times," Rise said as Adi looks up at the screen in the corner of the women's section to see a news report about the Lone Stars with some people giving them praise.
This sickens her to the core. "People only care about their bias even at the cost of others," Adi is in deep thought as Naoto looks over to see the older woman is in thought.
"Something wrong Adi Sensei?" Naoto asked.
"It's the new report, people give these guys praise. What a joke," Adi said as Naoto shakes her head.
"Yes, they are part of a group who are targeting immigrant groups within the nation. Beatings, shootings, and firebombing. It's only getting worse but some people are looking the other way. They even support this," Naoto said as she feels deeply sorry for Alice.
"So rotten," she said as she hears her stomach growling. "Oh, I am hungry," she said.
"Oh, I know a place we can eat at. A buffet, all you in eat," Rise said as Chie has a big grin on her face.
"Oh, you are speaking my language," Chie said as her stomach is groaning as well.
"Let's get our stuff and then stuff our faces," Rise said as the women cheer for this.
"I hope the guys are not bored without us," Yukiko said.
"I think they were playing Mario Kart online, they will be so into it. They wouldn't notice," Rise said as they take their stuff to exit the department store to head for the buffet called All Stars Eats. "The sushi is pretty good as well as other things they serve there," Rise said as they head down the sidewalk to see people around them.
"We got some good stuff. These sneakers are so cute," Chie said.
"Yeah this pair of shoes are nice too," Yukiko said.
"I got a new hat, it's nice," Naoto is impressed by what she brought.
"Yeah these panties are so cute," Rise said to see a pair of silk pink panties with a red bow in the front.
The ladies are now at a buffet where delicious foods of all sorts are being served for them to go into a booth. "Yummy food. Can you smell that?" Chie asked as her mouth is watering.
"Yes, it's pretty good. Can't wait to eat," Adi said as a young pink-haired waitress approaches their booth.
"Welcome ladies. My name is Aiya, and I'll serve you today. What drinks do you want?" she asked.
"I'll have a Honey Melon Tea please," Yukiko said.
"Same here," Adi said.
"Citrus Punch," Rise said.
"Me too," Naoto said.
"Fruit Punch please," Chie said as Aiya puts down their drink orders on her touchpad.
"Alright, ladies enjoy your time here at the All-Star Eats. I'll bring your drinks very shortly," Aiya goes off.
"Alright girl, go grab some food," Adi said as the five women separated to look for some food.
Rise went to the food aisle with a plate picking out her food as she is deeply distracted. She picks up some food with an older male in his 40s who is checking Rise out from afar.
The male is lustfully staring at Rise's figure making her look delicious to him with Rise sensing the man's lustful intent for she plays it cool. "Hey there, my sexy little bombshell, what's your name sweetheart," the man said as Rise is instantly annoyed by his presence with his eyes leering at her melons clinging to her blouse.
"My name is…" Rise said in a brief pause thinking of a name that is not her own. "Shana," Rise lied to the man who is getting uncomfortably closer wanting to get his hands on a different set of buns.
"Shana huh, how about you and I go out in the alleyway and embrace our inner sexual demons," the older man's intentions are making Rise very disgusted.
"Well, I am married, so can you leave please," Rise said with disgust to show him her wedding ring on her finger as she is picking up more food onto her plate as the guy can't take a hint.
"How about you drop the zero and get with the hero baby," he said with Rise not having patience for this anymore.
"Get away from me," she strikes his nuts with her leg to make him knell over onto the floor.
"Gee man, you shit out of luck. Wait a minute, your Risette. The wash-out idol," the man's friend said as Rise doesn't like that title.
"I am not a washout, I retired on my own," Rise said.
"Bullshit, you got old grannie. No one gives a shit about your terrible music, only caring about your pretty face and a big chest," the guy said as Adi and Chie stepped up to confront them.
"Hey, how about you piss off," Adi said.
"I am an off-duty cop. I would have arrested you both for disturbing the peace," Chie said as they get nasty looks from the two women and the people around them.
"Damn it, let's get out of here. Your acting sucks Risette," the two men were shown the door to leave.
"Thanks, you guys," Rise said.
"No problem, you should have pepper spray or something," Adi said.
"I would but self-defense tools like tasers and pepper spray are problematic in Japan. You can't get Tasers or you can get sent to jail if you use pepper spray to hurt someone," Rise said as Adi gives out a big sigh.
"You wonder why sexual harassment is on the rise in this nation for a while now," Adi said as they go back to grab some food onto their plates.
"Gee that was a real pain," Rise finishes getting her meal and sitting back down at her booth with the others being there before her.
"Wow, quite the spread," Adi noticed seeing Rise's plate filled with 2 mini cheeseburgers, mashed potatoes, and three buttered rolls.
"I like good meals," Rise said chewing on her burger and enjoying the meat enflaming her taste buds with sheer pleasure. "Wow, this is very good," she said.
"I got those burgers as well. They look so good" Chie said as she is mini burgers, spare ribs, and beef on sticks. She is eating some Hawk Bat meat on a stick covered in BBQ sauce.
"Gee, you are stacked with meat," Adi said.
"Well yeah," Chie said as she bites into her with Naoto having some pizza and noodles.
"This taste great," Naoto said sporting a smile with Yukiko drinking her glass to see if Rise is bothered by something.
"Something wrong Rise?" Yukiko asked.
"Guys, does my music suck? Rise asked as they are confused by this.
"Why do you care?" Chie asked.
"I take great pride in my voice, be honest with me," Rise said.
"Okay, I am going to be honest. I think you are overrated," Adi said bluntly.
"Oh, thanks for the words of kindness…wait what?" Rise's eyes widen to be caught off guard by her Sensei's blunt comments.
"Yeah, I think your music is nothing new. It's okay and that's about it. I am being nice," Adi said as Rise got heated by this.
"I didn't want you to be this honest," Rise said making a pouting face.
"Oh, I see, you wanted me to suck your clit right. Sorry, but your pop-popping music is not cutting it for me. I have seen meme songs on YouTube that got a better flow than yours. This song Fighters on a wheelchair is on fire with the beats and tunes. I recommended it if you know English," Adi said.
"Ouch," Yukiko said as they all saw Rise looking dumbfounded by this.
"That is a wicked burn if I have seen one," Chie being cheeky about it.
"Oh, shut it, I guess it's not up to your taste," Rise is defeated by this.
"Well people found joy in your music and that's what counts right," Adi said trying to make the younger woman feel better.
"Yeah, sorry for snapping at you," Rise said.
"It's okay, you earned your new life. I am just fucking around with you," Adi said as he playfully pats her shoulder.
"Of course, Sensei," Rise said letting go of her pouting to smile at her big sister figure.
"You are not the only one who yanks people's chains," Adi said as she bites into her pizza slice for them to enjoy their meal to see a news report on the TV screen about a certain Diet member who is talking about keeping Japan pure and only for Japanese.
"Not this shit again," Chie said sighing at this.
"Keeping Japan Great, yeah only for rich assholes like those guys," Adi said.
"Yeah, they keep saying weird stuff like that but people are suffering from all this nonsense," Yukiko said.
"Yes, it's quite sad. These Lone Stars are getting popular among the older generations wanting to go back to the old times of glory and power," Naoto said as Adi feels angry at this.
"Evil never dies, it takes new forms. Japan's evils didn't disappear after World War 2, it took the form of ultra-nationalists trying to drive back the years of progress. Japan is not cut off anymore, it's part of the global community. This is just like the Neo nazis and similar groups are trying to do the same thing in the West trying to bring it back to a time where old men had all the power with everyone else suffering under their iron boots," Adi said as she knows the brutal history that the Imperial Japanese has done to her motherland of China in the past.
"Sadly, the elders of this nation are holding all the power within the government while the young like us have to take it up the ass," Chie said as she finds some of the older members of the police department to be lazy and not putting in as much work as the younger members like Chie.
"This nation is built on respecting our elders and our total will to please them," Yukiko said.
"That is nonsense, most of those fuckers don't deserve any sort of respect. All they do is rob and cheat the younger generations to keep themselves fat and happy," Adi said.
"This has been like this for hundreds of years. People stay in their lane here," Yukiko said.
"Yes this is a collective society and the group outweighs the benefit of the individual which leads to a lot of this nation's problems," Naoto said.
"Gee, are we eating or having a debate," Chie said.
"You are right, I am sorry for dragging this down. It makes me angry that the Lone Stars get away with this while people are not lifting a finger. This is the Phantom Thieves all over again, learning the hard way about how rotten elders can be," Adi said as Naoto nods her head.
"It's okay Sensei, I sense you are passionate about this. Nothing wrong with talking about this, it shows you care about us and this nation's future," Naoto said as Aid nods her head.
"At some point, this nation will face its own shadow just like you guys did. It needs to be open and honest about it, none of that saving face bullshit. It can go down a bright path and heal the wounds of the past with Asia fully or it will implode on itself leaving everything undone," Adi said sounding very sour about this but with glints of hope in her heavy voice.
"You always seem to be thinking about heavy things Sensei," Rise said as the four women do see Adi as a pillar of strength and wisdom within these dark times.
"Yes, you are very interesting to talk with," Naoto said.
"Yes, I got a lot on my mind when I moved here. I used to hate it here but now with you guys. Things are a bit brighter around here. Come on, let's get to eating," Adi said as Chie is grinning like mad.
"Now you are talking," Chie said.
"Oh, I hear about you taking Nanako to the zoo. How was it?" Yukiko asked.
"It was wonderful, we get to see all kinds of cool animals. Oscar was just a big cutie," Rise said as she drinks her glass.
"Oh yeah, that is the star of the Okina Zoo. I and Chie wanted to go there at some point," Yukiko said.
"So, it's a date of sorts," Adi teases them as Chie and Yukiko flush in the face.
"No, nothing like that. We needed to hang out since we have been busy with work," Yukiko said.
"Oh, I want to pet the animals there," Chie said.
"What are you five?" Adi asked lightly as every laugh at this. "There are some cuties over there, you can look at and pet," she said.
"Yeah it's going to be so cool," Chie said like a little schoolgirl for the five women were enjoying their time together with the moon high in the sky.
Elsewhere Alice reached her home in Okina City to see her parents were sleeping in their bedroom. Two male Lone Star members were watching from a distance to note her location. "She is that woman who caused trouble for us at the festival in Inaba," the first man said.
"Yeah, those fucking Americans are so obvious and rude, especially the darker ones," the second man said.
"What a disgrace. Her father married a dark-skinned American, this type of union doesn't belong here within this nation. We need to report back and set some things up, we are going to give he a nasty surprise she will never forget. Then she can leave this place and never come back," the first man said.
"Yeah, her kind is not welcome here. It will be very clear to her then," the two men plot something horrible to Alice as they vanish within the shadows.
