"Sky people. The next village over."
Neteyam felt his whole world collapsing. Kiri gripped his hand for support as her whole body shuddered. Jake hung his head in defeat while his mother looked as though she might cry. The Olo'eyktan sighed, as if not envying the next words he was about to say. "They have a human boy with them. He speaks Na'vi."
Kiri let out a sob and Neytiri quickly gathered her eldest daughter into her arms. "Spider!" Kiri whimpered, hugging her mom back.
Very quickly the kids were ushered out. Tuk plopped into Neteyam's arms without a second thought as Tonowari stepped into the marui to further discuss with their parents.
Now the three sat outside on the woven walkway, back pressed against the hut, as they waited to know their fate. It felt uncannily similar to that night at Base Camp all those months ago. It felt like years now.
"I don't want to leave again," Tuk whispered into his shoulder, trying not to cry. He could feel her lips trembling.
"I know Tuk, I know. Me neither."
But that was all he could say. There were no other words he had to comfort her. Truly for the first time in his life, he could do nothing. So he just held her and rocked them back and forth in a soothing motion while Kiri sat rigid at his side. The weather seemed to match their situation. Heavy clouds had rolled in over Awa'atlu creating a somber feeling in air.
"You know Tuktuk-" he started after a while, trying to keep his voice steady and fun. "When we went out on the ikrans, Tsyalè really missed you."
His sister's eyes lit up and she sniffed into her hand. "Really?"
"Yes. She told me herself."
Tuk giggled tearfully. "Don't be silly, 'Teyam. Everyone knows ikrans can't talk."
Neteyam grinned back at her. "No no, I swear it! She told me right to my face."
As if to show his honesty he held one hand up and placed the other over his heart. Tuk laughed earnestly and snuggled closer into his lap.
"Will you tell her I miss her too?" She asked with wide eyes.
Neteyam tickled her sides playfully, earning a giggle. "You can tell her yourself next week when we take our super special banshee ride, remember?"
His little sister squealed in excitement at the remembrance of the promise from last night. That seemed to settle her down. She dried her eyes and began to ramble excitedly about where they should fly on the island and all the things she wanted to see.
They could stay. Tonowari agreed to uphold the laws of Uturu and keep them hidden. After the chief left, Neteyam and his siblings rushed into the marui and confronted their parents. Neytiri was leaning somberly against their father, who was rubbing his forehead with a look of long-suffering tiredness. Neteyam felt the man had aged a decade in the last three months.
Jake sat the kids down and explained it to them in quick words. Quaritch had tracked their location to somewhere within Pandora's coastal islands and was beginning to search the villages far south. He was not close and the other tribes would say nothing of where they truly were. No Na'vi had been killed.
The relief he initially felt was taken as his father explained Tonowari's hesitance. The villages were burned and animals slaughtered as the newly made Avatars attempted to gain information of their whereabouts. As he spoke, silent tears dripped down Kiri's face.
"And what of Spider?" she lamented.
Jake sighed. "Spider's a tough kid. He'll be alright. For what was heard, he seemed unharmed."
That did not settle Kiri. Instead, she lashed out, banging her fists weakly against their father's chest. "You did not go back for him! You left him!" she sobbed, before collapsing to the marui floor. Jake's face drooped and his ears were tucked back mournfully as he watched his daughter break down.
Slowly he lowered himself to the floor beside her. "Kiri," he started, his voice full of melancholy. "I did what I had to do to protect you. We could not go back for him without risking your lives. You may be as angry as you wish, but I do not regret that decision."
Gently, he wiped tears from her face as she cried. Despite her anger, she let him pull her into his arms like he had when they were Tuks age. "It will be alright," he murmured over and over again as Neytiri looked on sadly.
The Sully's spent the night in the hut. When Lo'ak returned, his father pulled him down into a brief conversation before motioning for him to go sit with his siblings. A gray atmosphere filled the air as Neytiri and Jake spoke in harsh whispers as the sun sank below the waves.
His mother's hands constantly touched her bow as she paced back and forth. "We must kill this demon. Trap him," her voice was breaking. "We cannot hide forever Ma Jake." Angry tears rolled down her face as she looked helplessly up at her mate.
Jake let out a distraught breath, trying to both comfort and disagree with his wife. "My love," he started hesitantly, putting hands over her shaking blue shoulders. His voice was filled with anguish. "We cannot risk the children."
Neytrir's eyes dropped and she let out a sob. His father looked desperate. "We will figure it out, ok? But we are safe here. We are safe for now."
Her quiet sobs diminished into the air as the night's darkness fell on Awa'atlu.
Even as his family laid down to rest, and the village quieted, Neteyam lay awake. It was too much. He ripped himself off the sleeping mat and exited the marui, attempting to let the cool air calm his wild senses. Yet even in the quiet of the night, his ears still flicked back and forth, constantly alert for any threat. Eywa, his whole body felt moments away from breaking apart.
His feet carry him down to the beach without even thinking. Maybe if he could see the horizon, see that they were safe, he could breathe. Soon he could hear the water lapping up against the shore and he screwed his eyes shut for a second before allowing himself to exhale.
Fuck!
His hands ran through his hair, pulling at the braids as he fell down into the sand, dragging his hands down his face. He would never escape. His throat choked around the knot that was forming as angry tears burned in his eyes that he refused to let fall. All he wanted to do was scream and he couldn't even do that.
It was foolish of him to believe that even for a moment he could allow himself to be happy, to feel accepted. His family would always be hunted and there would never be any peace. Angry sadness coursed through him as he chucked a nearby shell as far as it could go in silent frustration.
Wrapping his arms around himself, he felt himself cave in.
"Neteyam?"
The blue Na'vi whipped around in the sand, attempting to clean his face as he looked up to see Aonung. While his braids were still in place; the soft black curls, so often kept back in his traditional bun, fell down his shoulders in waves. He had never seen Aonung with his hair down, it startled him. He looked so… pretty. Neteyam immediately averted his gaze.
He cleared his throat and pushed his palms into his eyes for a moment before standing up. "Yes, sorry I was just leaving."
As he started to pass the other, Aonung stopped him. "What are you doing up?"
"I-" Neteyam paused, looking around at the empty beach. "I don't know," he whispered defeatedly. The rush of the water surrounded the two of them as Neteyam's shoulders sagged.
"The sky people know we have left the forest," he said finally, dropping back down into the sand with a pained expression. "They are searching for us."
Aonung took in a sharp breath. Slowly the taller boy lowered down next to him, keeping his eyes on the same distant spot where Neteyam was staring.
"My family has been fighting for so long and now," he admitted in a tired voice. "What if it was all for nothing?"
He turned his golden eyes to meet Aonung as if the other had answers for him. His voice was sad and pleading but he couldn't fix it. "I fear…" The words felt stuck in his throat. "I fear that there will never be a place for us."
He missed the forest. His heart ached for the trees and the moss and the beautiful bioluminescence. Yet he felt more at home on this beach now than he ever did his entire life. He couldn't leave this behind, he didn't want to fight anymore.
Soft fingers touched his cheek sadly. To his surprise, they wiped away tears that had begun to roll down the blue skin. He had not even realized he had been crying.
"Neteyam…" Aonung said quietly. Before he could process it, a large teal arm was being wrapped around him, tugging him into the other's embrace. He tensed before allowing himself to be enveloped into a hug. His head fell grateful onto Aonung's shoulder as warm hands ran up and down his arms, even going so far as to gently touch his braids.
"I am so tired of fighting," he whispered sadly.
Aonung traced Neteyam's back with his spare hand before pulling away carefully.
Neteyam watched as the taller boy wiped the sand from his legs and held a hand out to summon him. "Come with me."
Neteyam looked up hesitantly not feeling the energy to move. Yet he still followed the taller boy into the water, eyes tired. As if sensing his tension, Aonung turned back slightly and offered his teal hand. Neteyam looked between it and the Na'vi it belonged to, whose skin shone like moonlight against the dark water. Aonung's eyes were soft and kind. He took his hand.
The dark blue Omaticaya was pulled into the cove step by step until the water reached his stomach. Aonung stood ahead of him and called out lowly for the ilu. As his broad tail casually swished the water back and forth Neteyam could not help but stare at Aonung's broad back, and firm waist. The strings of his loincloth wrapped around the back of his tail similarly to his own before disappearing under the water. Neteyam felt his cheeks begin to heat up.
A few meters out, the surface broke as a lazy fin crested the water. An ilu dived through the cove in response to the Metkayina's call. It swam its way around Neteyam to Aonung, chirping curiously. Aonung ran his hand down its slick neck, bringing it closer to Neteyam. He stared up at the teal boy as he mounted the creature easily, broad Metkayina thighs gripping its flank, muscles flexing.
"You don't mind sharing do you?"
Neteyam shook his head quickly, trying to ignore the way his ears were twitching apprehensively.
Silently Aonung pulled Neteyam on, settling him between his legs, causing a blush to settle over his dark skin. A slight shiver worked its way up his spine when Aonung leaned forward to grab the ilu's reins.
"You alright?" A voice asked over his shoulder.
Neteyam cleared his throat and nodded, holding on to the ilu's neck tightly. "We will not go far, " Aonung reassured, settling his grip casually on the saddle. "I will tell you when to breathe."
With a click they pushed forward, the water sliding over the ilu's green back. A steady hand made its way to Neteyam's hip, holding him in place as they cut through the shallow water of the cove, into the deeper sections of the reef. The grip tightened and Aonung started to lean himself forward. "Inhale now," he instructed and Neteyam compiled right before the ilu dove beneath the waves, taking both Na'vi with it.
Unlike their last nighttime swim, they did not make their way into the twisting coral structures but rather dove down to the sea floor where the phosphorus plants bloomed amongst the algae.
Beautiful, Neteyam signed to Aonung, gesturing to the marine life before them.
The boy smiled back and used his free hand to motion. Watch.
Aonung spurred the ilu forward and let his finned hand graze against the kelp as they swam by. It lit up like stars, leaving a wake of green glow where he had touched. Neteyam almost gasped in delight, firmly remembering to keep his mouth shut as his eyes widened in wonder.
The Metkayina brought the ilu back around, this time gesturing for Neteyam to reach out. The plants felt feather light against his palms as he dragged them around, playing with them happily. He was so entranced he hardly noticed when Aonung slid them off and dismissed the ilu.
Now it was just the two of them underwater, surrounded by glowing plants. Completely intrigued, Neteyam amused himself by tapping the strange anemones that seemed to scatter the sea flow, watching as they curled up before bursting out in glowing light. He felt proud of how far his diving skills had come. Turning back to Aonung he was surprised to see the other boy already staring at him. His expression unreadable.
Neteyam swam closer to him and pointed at the creatures below. What called? he signed.
Aonung wrenched his eyes away from Neteyam's face and looked where he was pointing. His eyes lit up happily and he held his fist out flat, tapping it as he opened his palm. It was a sign that Neteyam had not seen before. He pulled his own hands forward and tried to mimic it, raising his brow to see if he had done it correctly. Aonung grinned and nodded in approval.
He was about to dive down and tap another when Aonung took his hand and pointed for him to look to the left. Bright glowing fish swam in different schools, ducking under the kelp and moving through the water in some unconscious game of tag. They winded in dizzying patterns around the two Na'vi, like tiny shooting stars.
Neteyam reached his hand out and they parted instantly, ducking away from him. Aonung did the same, waiting for the fish to come just close enough before lunging out and scattering them. The antics made him laugh silently, his shoulders shaking with the movement as mirth filled his eyes.
Everything, the atmosphere, the water, all of it, Neteyam felt his heart expanding. He turned back to the teal boy in gratitude, thankful beyond words, only to be frozen by what he saw.
Aonung held his hands out hesitantly watching Neteyam with a look close to adoration. I see you, he signed with a slight waver.
The Omaticaya felt his whole body come to a halt. Aonung, with his beautiful smile, and black curls, and glowing eyes, was looking at him as though he truly existed. He saw him.
Neteyam felt his heart hammer. Really? he asked, searching the other's eyes desperately.
Aonung nodded shortly.
Neteyam's hands started to shake. He felt like his mind was going a hundred miles an hour. Slowly he moved closer to the teal boy and took his hands.
I see you, Neteyam mouthed back, small bubbles escaping his mouth. Aonung's whole face collapsed and he dragged Neteyam into his arms, pressing their foreheads tightly together.
Ma 'Teyam, his lips moved.
He opens his mouth to smile softly when his chest suddenly caved in on itself. Funny how he did not realize how much he needed air until it was almost out. Neteyam brought his hand to his chest and tapped it quickly two times. The very first sign Tsireya had taught them. Air.
Aonung's eyes instantly widened in realization as Neteyam's chest twitched once more. The two make their way toward the surface, Aonung's flat tail pushing them up with ease. Neteyam immediately began to cough the moment his head crested the waves.
Teal hands were all over him, worriedly touching his arms and back. "Are you ok?" Aonung asked swiftly, urging him to take a breath. But Neteyam just pushed their mouths together.
Aonung made a sound of surprise before he was immediately on Neteyam, opening his mouth with his tongue, letting his hands grab onto him. His own breathing was coming out in pants but he didn't care, too focused on getting as close to the Metkayina as possible. It was almost silly how three small words could utterly tear him apart.
Eventually the two broke apart as Neteyam was finally forced to fill his lungs with an adequate amount of oxygen. Aonung's forehead was once more resting against his own, letting his warm breaths ghost over his cheeks. Slowly, Neteyam leaned in for another kiss, cradling Aonung's face as he brought their lips together once more. The soft drag of his mouth against the other was intoxicating.
Aonung broke away for a moment only to let out a few quick clicks before reattaching his lips to Neteyam's. The water rippled slightly as the ilu reappeared beside them, Aonung helped Neteyam up before easily settling behind him and placing his queue to the animal's kuru. He commanded the creature forward, not bothering to dive the short distance of the cove.
The warm hold he held Neteyam in felt so comforting he could cry. The water lapped gently at their legs as they reached the shore. Aonung did not wait even a moment after dismounting before he pulled Neteyam down into a searing kiss. Hands grabbed his sensitive waist, pulling him off the ilu entirely and into his hold. His whole body lit up at the touch and he groaned into Aonung's mouth.
That seemed to be the last straw for the chief's son because he all but hauled Neteyam into his arms, tongue pushing past his mouth. The Omaticaya scrambled to get a purchase as he was carried onto the beach, not willing to disconnect from the other for even a moment.
"I want you," Neteyam breathed out, wrapping himself around the other firmly. Aonung practically shuttered and his grip tightened unconsciously, causing the teal hands on his thighs to slightly pull at his ass. An embarrassing sound croaked out of Neteyam's throat as pleasure shot through his body.
"I know," Aonung agreed, settling them both in the sand. The gentle sounds of water echoed in the empty cove as lights from the village disappeared far down the island. They were safe here.
Neteyam sat up slightly, running his hands over Aonung's loose curls, admiring them in the moonlight. The Metkayina never wore his hair down like this. "It looks lovely," Neteyam murmured softly.
Aonung ducked his face slightly as if trying to hide the subtle blush that was tinting his ears. "Well now you know how I felt," he said nervously, letting his hands fall onto Neteyam's hips. The two were both sitting in the sand, Aonung on his knees with Neteyam slightly under him. The hand that was tracing his curls was grasped swiftly and Aonung placed a searing kiss into the skin of Neteyam's wrist. "When I saw you that night on the beach with your hair down, I thought I might have had a heart attack."
Neteyam chuckled, thinking back to the night celebrating the tulkun's return. You put shells in your hair, Aonung had stated stupidly with wide eyes.
"You looked so beautiful."
Now it was Neteyam's turn to flush. Aonung's blue eyes found his own golden ones. "You always look so beautiful."
Neteyam felt his breathing hitch as he was caught in the other's soft words. "...Neteyam."
That was all he needed to hear. Those soft words on the ocean shore. He dragged Aonung's face down for a kiss, parting his lips eagerly over the other. He had never experienced a need like this before. Never wanted someone the way he wanted Aonung. It terrified him. All it took was one of his stupid smirks and Neteyam's whole carefully constructed image would shatter. And now Aonung saw him.
He kissed him desperately, drawing his hand's out from the Metkayina's hair to cradle his neck, all but arching his own back to get them closer. Aonung was more than happy to comply, moaning into Neteyam's mouth and sliding them together so that he was situated directly above the smaller warrior. Kisses were eagerly placed down his throat as hands grasped the ties at his hips. "Can I?" Aonung asked, tugging at them.
"Please." Neteyam managed as his own hands worked down the other's teal back, trying to find something to hold.
The second his loincloth was off he was immediately pressing down into Neteyam, groaning as the taller boy dragged his still-clothed erection across Neteyam's bare cock. Neteyam's head fell back in the sand as he felt pleasure course up his stomach. His hands immediately went between the two of them, desperately pushing aside the other's covering. Now it was just bare skin against bare skin and the second they touched, a low whimper was pressed out of Neteyam's throat. It felt just as good as it had last time.
Aonung was quick to settle in between Neteyam's thighs as he rocked forward, catching the Omaticaya's mouth with his own. The fingers splayed against his hip felt intimidating but Neteyam pushed it aside, kissing the teal boy back happily.
After a few minutes, Aonung pulled back, placing a few last kisses to Neteyam's neck. One hand traced up from his side to cradle the dark blue skin of his cheek. "Neteyam," he whispered softly. "I- I want you so much. So much it scares me. Eywa, you have no idea what you do to me."
Neteyam ducked his chin, feeling his skin heat up. But Aonung wouldn't have it. He gently cradled his jaw before pushing him back up to meet his eyes. "Just-" he rested his head on Neteyam's shoulder nervously. "Say that I can have you. Please."
Nerves gripped Neteyam's chest. "Yes."
"Thank Eywa," Aonung whimpered before diving back down, sucking on Neteyam's lip before roughly pushing his tongue past. The Omaticaya responded in return, slanting their mouths together with ease, deepening the kiss. "All of it," he confirmed. "I want all of it with you, Aonung."
Happy relief flooded through Aonunug.
"'Teyam," he murmured lovingly, causing the Omaticaya's hips to jerk upward unconsciously with a low wine. Aonung let out a soft chuckle at the response. The hands on his hips urged him to open his thighs wider and dark kisses were placed down the side of his neck.
Suddenly arms were looped under his hips and Neteyam's ass was dragged forward in the sand as he let out a yelp of surprise. Surprise which was immediately replaced with a cry when Aonung ducked his head down to lick a hot stripe up his bare cock.
"Fuck," was all he choaked out before a pair of warm lips encased his head and worked downward. It was messy. Neteyam felt spit dribbling down his length as Aonung slowly sucked him off, squeezing his thighs every few strokes, encouraging Neteyam to move his hips along in the rhythm. He propped himself up on his elbows and couldn't stop himself from gently running his fingers through Aonung's hair as he attempted not to whimper at the sensations encasing him.
After a few more motions Aonung popped off slowly. The presence of the cool air against his wet cock made him twitch a little, but it was soon soothed over when a warm teal hand encased him, rubbing a thumb into his leaking tip. Aonung leaned back before he gently ran his spare hand up and down Neteyam's thighs in a comforting manner. With a soft and sure kiss to his lips, the hand on his cock started to move lower, gently tracing over his entrance with wet fingers.
Neteyam's whole body convulsed at the sensation.
Warm lips immediately reattached to his own as Aonung stroked his face kindly before gently pressing the pad of one finger against his tight hole.
Slowly it eased in. Neteyam let out a whimper.
Aonung looked between them and let out a short groan, pressing kiss after kiss to Neteyam's face as he pushed it in deeper, impaling it all the way to the knuckle. His whole body shuddered at the intrusion, unsure what to do with the new presence inside of him, rubbing against his walls. But then Aonung's finger curved and he felt his whole stomach cave in. Something deep inside him was triggered because he clenched rapidly around the digit searching for more. "Again," he rasped out.
As the finger worked in and out of him, Neteyam found his back starting to arch into the other's touch. Aonung's other hand pinned his hips to the ground while he traced his tongue over the hollow in Neteyam's throat, making him release a cry.
Another finger pressed at his entrance, pausing only for a moment as Neteyam dipped his hips in consent. He let out a choked sound when Aonung leaned back to dribble spit over his entrance. Slowly the two slick fingers pressed into him, opening him in an entirely new way. In and out, while the Omaticaya panted below him.
Just as Aonung pressed his lips into a particularly sensitive place below his ear, those teal fingers curled deep within him. Neteyam's whole body rocked in pleasure and he grabbed effortlessly at the sand below him as that small bundle of nerves within him was touched.
"There?" Aonung asked, his own breathing coming out shot.
Neteyam could only nod. He desperately sought out the other's lips, needing some sort of comfort. Aonung happily complied, layering heavy kisses into his mouth as his fingers repeated the motion again and again. At this point Neteyam was all but putty as the Metkayina stretched him open, relentlessly pressing against that spot within him until Neteyam's hips were arching up desperately, trying to get more stimulation.
The second a third finger was added he let out a pathetic sob. He felt moments away from breaking apart.
"Need- Need you Aonung," was all he could stutter out as his channel clenched relentlessly over Aonung's embedded fingers.
"Oh Eywa," Aonung cursed, taking in the sight below him. "Ok 'Teyam turn around."
Anxiety shot through him but it was far overweighed by the feeling of emptiness when Aonung removed his fingers. So with shaky hands, he turned over in the sand, getting on his hands and knees. There was a slick sound of Aonung running a hand over his own length a few times before he gently wrapped an arm around Neteyam's waist and leaned forward, placing a kind kiss to the dark blue skin of his lower back. Teal fingers soothed over his stomach before he felt something large and heavy settle against him. His breath caught in his throat.
Aonung slowly lined himself up to Neteyam's whimpering hole, gently rubbing the tip back and forth, smearing precome over the twitching rim. Neteyam let out a low cry as his hips automatically bucked back toward the sensation. The Metkayina let out a low chuckle before urging the other Na'vi into him and pushing upward.
The sensation caused fear to clench at Neteyam's heart. He was being stretched open as Aonung's aching cock began to penetrate him. A fearful whine tore its way from his chest. The hand around his waist immediately tightened, allowing him to use the motion to rock back at his own pace. Aonung pushed deeper.
Inch after inch, he felt himself give way and the chief's son was fully seated inside him. "Oh god," Neteyam moaned out weakly, as he felt Aonung's entire length buried deep within him. So slick and hot. Aonung was practically trembling behind him.
Slowly, as if testing the waters, he rocked forward into the Omaticaya. Neteyam whimpered. At the positive response, Aonung pushed forward again, this time drawing out as he leaned back, letting a few inches of his cock drag at Neteyam's walls before thrusting in. Whatever sound came out of Neteyam then, he would deny to his last breath as pleasure coursed through him. Aonung began to pick up the pace.
A new kind of pressure clenched at Neteyam's lower stomach and he started to be fucked open. Desperate mewls began to fill the air, swallowed up by the gentle crash of the waves as that new sensation started to grow. Teal finned hands settled on his hips and soon the Metkayina was guiding him back onto his cock, keeping a firm grip on the blue skin. At first there was a sense of humiliation at being put in such a position but Aonung was there immediately to soothe it away.
A pool of heat began to fill his body.
Aonung had wrapped an arm around Neteyam's lower stomach and fucked forward, causing his tip to press into the small bundle of nerves. Neteyam almost passed out as a choked sob escaped his lips. It felt like fire was coursing through his veins. Aonung held him close as his hips snapped forward again and again, hitting that spot every time.
Everything was starting to blur. Warm shot out in his abdomen and he started to clench around Aonung's length in pure pleasure. "Close-" he stuttered out, relishing the way he could feel Aonung against his ass when he bottomed out.
Aonung whimpered an agreement, thrusting up in repetitive strokes
All sense of tempo was lost when Aonung's other hand grabbed his length and began to work him up and down. Neteyam all but arched back until he was on his knees, back to chest with the teal Na'vi, shuttering as he was torn between thrusting up into his hand or down onto his cock.
At this point, they were frantically rocking against each other seeking release, one thrust after the next in a mix of whimpers and groans.
"Neteyam-"
But he couldn't hear whatever Aonung was about to moan because his whole body blissed out, white overcoming his senses as he spilled himself into the other's hand and onto the beach below. Aonung frantically grabbed at his chest as he pumped into him, head buried in the crook of his blue neck as he followed, spending his release deep inside Neteyam with a shudder.
Sticky warmth filled him as Aonung coated his insides. A sensation he had never experienced before. His body reacted instantly, sinking down onto his cock further. A happy groan surrounded his ears as Aonung came down from his high, completely tangled with Neteyam. He had never felt more satisfied.
"You are mine Neteyam, ok?" Aonung said from behind him, pressing a firm kiss to his shoulder, he was breathing hard. "Always."
A stupid sense of joy filled his heart at the words as he nuzzled back into the teal Na'vi letting his breathing return to normal. "Okay," he whispered softly. "Yours."
Aonung held him for a moment more, settling their heartbeats before realizing the mess they were in. Slowly, he pulled out of Neteyam with a groan. The Omaticaya felt a sense of embarrassment when fluid started to leak out of him and drip down the back of his thighs. But Aonung swore under his breath and tracked the movement with his gleaming eyes in the dark.
With shaky legs, Aonung helped him up to stand and the chief's son wrapped a steadying arm around him leading them toward the water. The warmth of the waves was soothing as he sunk deeper into the shallows followed by his lover. Warm hands traced over his skin, wiping off the traces of what they had just done. Neteyam turned around to look at the other but his breath got completely caught in his throat.
"You look like a mess," he laughed out in surprise. It was true, Aonung's face was flushed, eyes completely blown out, and curly hair all over the place.
Aonung opened his mouth in shock before a loud laugh was startled out of him as well. "As if you look any better!"
Neteyam put on his most obnoxious sad face and twisted his lips into a pout. "I thought you said I was beautiful," he bemoaned, taunting Aonung with his own words.
Hands grabbed at his waist and he was dunked under the water.
In retaliation, he grabbed Aonung and pulled the boy down with him.
The two came up sputtering and cackling. Aonung grinned before pulling Neteyam to his chest, pressing a kiss to his cheek. Warm hands wrapped around him securing them together. Neteyam held him in return, letting the other tuck his head soothingly into the crook of his neck. Dark blue fingers played with the wet curls of his hair and Aonung sighed in contentment.
"Do you want to go back," he asked, rubbing his finned hands up and down Neteyam's sides.
"No," Neteyam admitted, pulling back slightly and looking up. "Do you?"
Aonung shook his head and pressed them back together. "Come. We can sleep on the beach."
Neteyam nodded in agreement and allowed himself to be led from the water back to the shore. Aonung promptly snuggled them down in a tucked-away section of the sand and pulled Neteyam into his lap. The Omaticaya settled gratefully into his embrace and let their bodies fall back into the sand comfortably. Neteyam mumbled contently while Aonung wrapped big arms around him, pressing their bodies together.
The two fell asleep.
