The flat screens to either side of Antoine flashed orange with Tails' self-made player card. The fox flew over the back of the stage to meet the applause from some of the audience's younger ladies.

Miles Prower - Age: 15 - Height: 164cm - Looking For: Girls who enjoy a good time. - Skills: Flight, Engineering, Metal Detection.

Tails landed to Bunnie's left just as she took the microphone. She wrapped her arm around Tails and pulled him close, causing him some slight embarrassment. His gold tuxedo, although blending with her fur, contrasted with her purple dress. It only made him stand out better.

"Alright, ladies! To start us off toward our goal of five thousand pounds, I'll start this cutie off at a generous hundred pounds!" Bunnie faced the audience. "Who will start us off?"

Without so much as a second of silence, the first sign went up. "Ooh! That's Honey the Cat bidding a hundred pounds. Who's next?"

Tails blushed. He wasn't much the outgoing type, and having someone who beat him in a fight bid on him was humiliating. Fortunately, the second bid was much more good news, and raised some gasps from ladies and gentlemen alike.

Antoine grabbed the microphone. "Ladies and gentlemen, we have a celebrity in the audience. With a bid of 150 pounds, it's Mina Mongoose! And what's this? Rival singer Honey the Cat quickly raises the bid to two hundred pounds! It's game on for this guy!" He handed the microphone back to Bunnie as a much more familiar face presented itself.

"Now, here's the trouble we're looking for!" Bunnie announced. "Amy Rose - 250 pounds."

A round of awws escaped the audience as Tails genuinely smiled. It warmed his heart that Amy would bid on him. Never to be outdone, the independently wealthy Mina bid three hundred pounds on him just seconds later. In a show of defiance, the audience's youngest member placed a bid.

"We're now up to 350 pounds bid on Tails, by Cream the Rabbit!" She announced. Vector looked up from his card game backstage. His own stepdaughter bid on Tails, and now he was paying attention. She may have still been young, but she was old enough to support herself.

"For this young man's third time, Honey the Cat raises the stakes at four hundred pounds!" Bunnie continued. Tails altogether wasn't hating the idea of Honey the Cat any longer. Much better news soon showed up.

"Four hundred and fifty pounds by Mina Mongoose! Will we reach half a grand on our first bachelor, or will the singer take this young man with her? Well, how d'you like that? AMY ROSE coming in with the five hundred pound bid! This is unbelievable!" Bunnie yelled. She couldn't believe this herself.

Her self-controlled husband took the microphone and began to announce the higher bids as Bunnie joined him.

"Five hundred. This is five hundred pounds. Going once…" Antoine began.

"Ah, there's 550 pounds from Cream the Rabbit. I'd imagine Vector's getting quite flustered back there. Anyone for six hundred?" He took on the speed of a true auctioneer. "I have 550 going once. Going twice…"

A familiar bidder raised for six hundred. For Tails, Honey's raised bid was inviting. The two quickly locked eyes despite their distance. Tails couldn't help but break a shy smile as Antoine would soon begin the countdown.

"Ladies, this young man has racked up six hundred pounds! Six hundred going once, going twice, GOING OUT with Honey the Cat!"

She stood up in the audience to indicate to everyone where she was. A camera focused on her that displayed on the screens to the sides of the stage. She also was smiling.

"Ladies and gentlemen, that's our first bachelor gone!" Bunnie yelled. "And none of them drove here personally, so it's up to you to take them home. - Or wherever you'll be going. You're in charge today. Bachelors, listen to your lady friend. Remember she chose you."

Tails winked at Honey enticingly, drawing in more cheers and even a random double whistle. He grabbed one of the deck chairs from the stage and took it to the side of the rows where Honey joined him.

"Hey, stranger!" Honey joked, although like flirting.

"Hey, Honey, I'm home!" He quipped in response. "Better have a good plan for tonight if you wanted me so badly."

"Truth is, I actually do! There's still nine more of your team to go before we leave, so take it easy, alright?" She teased holding his hand.

"You don't have to lecture me on patience." He sighed, squeezing hers.
