Notes:

With the introduction done I can now be a bit clearer on how the crossover is going to work. First the location of the story does take place in the Halo universe. Just that instead of humans starting on Earth only, they are also on Elemental (Naruto's planet) as well. Humans of Elemental gain chakra not from the chakra fruit but from a genetic mutation caused by the error of the forerunners.

Most events in Naruto are transformed quite a bit for when humans from Earth arrived, they shared their knowledge and technology. Ninja systems have been transformed and all Elemental combined underneath one form of government.

As for the other crossovers they will come in the form of another species, a ship design, or technology for the most part. I will rarely take anything more than that except maybe a character who is part of the species. No special editions unless it can fit properly and not over fill the reader (you) with too much stuff going on.

As for pairings, anything well almost anything is possible

Now on with the story:

1600 hours, May 25, 2527 (military calendar)

Konoha City, Sarutobi District

Fire Country, Planet Elemental

Closing the door to his 2-bedroom apartment and throwing his bookbag to the side he jumped back to lay on his couch. The day was finally over, and Naruto still didn't have a answer to his credit problem. Looking to the side he could see a copy of himself studying at his desk using his laptop.

'Ah, the wonders of Kage Bunshin' he thought before turning back to look at the sealing while rubbing his head in frustration. He loved gramps for teaching him that jutsu. While the use of jutsu has lowered down from common use due to the rise in technology, the smart ones and clans still use it daily to improve their lives.

"Clans" he muttered turning to the side to look outside at the massive city. Not too far was the large 120 story building of the Uchiha Corporation. They like many clans on this planet skyrocket in wealth and power when the UNSC arrived. They have businesses around the world and off planet. They had their hands in so many things that they seem like they were everywhere. Food, construction, technology, weapons, ships, repairs-.

"REPAIRS!" 'I can do that. I have the knowledge on how to make repairs to some vehicles and some parts on ships. And with Kage Bunshin's I can make repairs at a tremendous speed'

"So that's why gramps said that this is the one thing I can abuse like no other before. He gave me the cheat code to life if used right. And it also explains why he was muttering about the unfairness of life" he laughed

'But first I need a starting location. Tazuna's shop is close by. Maybe he could give me a shot' he thought forming the correct seal and with a burst of chakra 25 clones were formed. They immediately formed a line behind the clone at the desk who was now printing manuals and instructions on repairing and understanding vehicles for them. With them getting to work to toke off to head for Tazuna's Shop.

Tazuna's Repair Shop

Within a few minutes Naruto was standing in front of a large warehouse that had cars to be repaired in the front and ships landing in the open bay in the middle. Walking through the double doors of the building he saw repairs taking place all over the shop with a man in the middle directing people on orders and instructions.

"Old man Tazuna!" he called out making the man stop to look at him and smiled waving him over. Giving Naruto a heavy pat on his back due to his strong, tall and lean structure of being 6'2 he looked him up and down.

"Its good to see you, my boy! How have you been?"

"It's good to see you as well. I'm doing good. I wanted to do some work to get some credits in my pocket and you seem like the person I should go to with my kind of talents"

"Your talents?"

"I can use Kage Bunshin on a master level" he answered as Tazuna looked at him wide eye. Just using it was impossible for most Elementals. Some who could use it can maybe use 3 or 4 at a time. Experts can use them in perfect sync with another. Now masters could use more than 10 and would be able to send thoughts between each other simultaneously. Like 10 bodies and 1 combined mind.

"Well really now! Let's see how you work. I will get you a trail corner and monitor your work. Phillip! Come take over management!" called out at the end Tazuna as he led Naruto to a corner with an empty lift.

"Here is your test. I will give you a simple repair job to see your skill. If I see anything I don't like, I'm stopping you immediately. We will talk about pay once you pass your test" he finished before looking around the shop a bit and finally waving over a car that had its front crunched in a bit.

"Tools are in the draws next to you and for whatever repair part you need enter it into the computer next to you. The mechanical claws above" he points up "will lower down the items you need. Don't waste my time now. I'm doing this as a favor because of our history. Start when you are ready" he finished sitting down and pull out a pad to type notes on the work.

Taking off his shirt to leave him self in a black t shirt he grabbed some work glove from the side to put on before doing a walk around inspection to analyze the car. From far away the clones at home received the knowledge on the car he was working on and started focusing all their studies on it.

Getting a flood of knowledge on what he is supposed to do he formed the seal again forming 15 clones who with him started to get to work. One clone went to the computer to order parts while another clone had the car lifted on the lift for the others. All around people slowly stopped to look at him as his clone's toke off the damage parts using tools while a few clones perform some jutsu that allowed them to cut, smelt, or cool down certain areas.

"You are not going to make this easy for me to monitor you, are ya" muttered Tazuna watching as a clone form a few seals to blow a small stream of fire to seal an open section.

Within an hour of working all the damage parts have been removed and the new parts were being placed on the vehicle. Naruto thought he could have gone faster but this was his first time doing a repair like this, so he wanted to take his time and do it right. This was also a learning experience for him so he needed to learn as much as he could. With an additional hour later, the car was repaired and off to the side was a large cart filled with the damage parts.

"Impressive. Very impressive. That was the fastest repair work I ever seen. I'll have the boys look it over for any errors but from the looks of this, you got a job" spoke up Tazuna pulling up a file on his tablet and showing it to Naruto. "Here is your contract. You can read it through, but the main thing is that from every job you do, the company gets 35 percent of the profit of the total job. The other 65 percent is spilt between the amount of people doing the job" he explained as Naruto nodded before he saw a group of people pushing the cart of damage supplies to a square machine in the corner.

"What's that?" he pointed gaining his attention

"Oh, that a recycler. All the parts from the job gets sent to that. It burns the bacteria and dirt off the parts before taring everything apart and putting everything back in neat bars of material base on what it is. We sell the material to a company for some cash"

"How about this. You know with my clones I'm going to be taking up a lot of work, so let's go 50/50 on the spilt but you give me one of the recyclers for me to have. I will keep all the broke parts from the job"

"Why? You plan to sell the parts to the company?"

"No, I will be saving the parts for a project of my own, I want to work on" he answered making the man think.

"I will accept on the deal of you paying me 60,000 credits in the form of your work. You will keep the machine here now until you pay it off and have a method to transport it"

"Deal" answered Naruto shaking Tazuna's hand

"Alright it's settled. Talk to the admin in front to set up your information, account, and schedule. For this job you earned a total of 735 credits. I'll see you tomorrow"

Later that night

Reopening the door to his home he walked past the clones studying to drop his stuff off and shower. Minutes later fresh from the shower he walked back to the living room to sit at the dining table as a clone placed his prepared food on the table and turned the tv on.

Looking at the news as he ate, he watched reporters talked about the daily goings of Elemental. The strong rivalry between the two corporations the Uchiha and Senju. It seemed like the usual until the next report that came on was about the current war. The alien group known as the Covenant were at war with the UNSC and the battles were massive.

If you broke up the map of the galaxy you would put Earth in the southwest quadrant. Elemental was in the mid-southeast quadrant. The Covenant were attacking from the northwest quadrant and the casualty rating was high. Elemental hasn't felt its effects yet but like all planets it was only a matter of time until they do. He would rather be prepared for when it happens and having a lot of credits and a way off planet sounds like a good idea.
