Snowy Mountains

A team of three dressed in white military camos were looking over another group that was doing their own overwatch. One thing that was noticeable about one of the three was the large sword on ones back.

"Zabuza-sensei, I know that I wanted to learn from you to be straight up amazing, but do I really have to be on this freaking cold mission with you" whispered a female next to the man to which he smirked at her before turning back to the two parties they were watching.

"Yes, you must. This will toughen you up, so no complaining. Haku, what do you have on this" he spoke looking to the other member of the team who was looking at her pad.

"The "Spirit of Fire" team is overlooking the Covenant operating in the Forerunner structure. The team is led by Sergeant John Forge. The Covenant is led by an unknown tall elite. I can't find any information on him but by his armor configuration and actions he must be in charge" she answered as he nodded before pulling out bino's to look at things in closer detail.

"Don't worry Ashoka, Zabuza is very strict on how he trains people. He is going to be even more strict on you due to you be a non-elemental. He wants for you to be strong enough to fight on even footing with the best of them. So cruel but fair. Maybe very cruel at times though. My question for you is why you chose to train underneath Zabuza of all people" she finished as Ashoka looked away with a frown.

"Well, I didn't want to follow Shaak Ti or Aayla's path in being a secretary. And while Naruto is very attractive, I want to follow the path of the warrior first. Zabuza is the pitch role model of a warrior. Doesn't take crap from anyone and unleashing hell on anyone who tries" she explained

"Be quiet you two. We don't want to attract attention to our position. And Ashoka, you are supposed to be focusing on learning and looking out. Haku stop distracting her" called out Zabuza ending their conversation. 'Maybe I'm going to soft on them. I need to be crueler'

"Let's go, we are moving in for a closer look. We will take the river path" he ordered leading the way as the two followed after him towards the colder path. 'Yes, that much crueler'

While Zabuza and Haku could move at fast speeds they decided to move slower due to Ashoka being with them. Getting closer they watched on as well sent a live feed to the ship of the assault going on by the UNSC. Once reaching a new and secured overwatch position Haku formed some hand seals to make a small ice mirror appear in the middle of the group showing a image.

Forerunner Structure Entrance

Elites and grunts were moving back in forth giving out and taking orders as they were working. A golden elite was talking to a larger armored elite as a small ice mirror formed on the ground nearby without their notice.

"The hierarch's grow inpatient, we can delay no longer" spoke the larger elite

"What if the infection defiles the relic?"

"I care not for your little life. We already have enough to deal with concerning that large ship moving around. Open the relic" he roared as he clenched his fist. With the command given the elites moved forward to open the gates. Once the gates were opened the mirror turned into a puddle of water signaling that Haku ended the jutsu.

Spartan Bay

The information that was sent from the scout team was being displayed to different parts of the ship. One of the locations was the Spartan Command Room where the Spartans were waiting for their orders. With the information being received, a display of Admiral Hiruzen and Dr. Halsey appeared.

"Well, we all know we can't leave the Covenant with that relic. We will need to go down there and secure it. It can provide us with useful intel" started Dr. Halsey to which everyone agreed. "But that elite. I never seen any with the armor configuration before. Any answers?" to which no one knew.

"I never seen that before either. Must be some high ranking of some sort, which makes it all the better to take out. I'll give the information to Admiral Kushina to see what the UNSC will do." Answered Hiruzen

"As we have personal investment in that relic, we will conduct are own mission as the UNSC does theirs. With the UNSC invading from the southeast heading for the relic, we will deploy from the northwest. Give them a two front war to capture that site" spoke up Naruto

"Agreed. Have the Spartans link up with the scout team to secure a landing for reinforcements. We will set up a temporary base to launch our operations off from" ordered Hiruzen as the Spartans nodded and headed off to the equipping pad to dawn on their armor.

While the four Spartans quipped regular army green MJOLNIR IV armor, Naruto armor while the same has a few additions to it. On the chest was a collar/breacher with a set of devices on his waist, on his left shoulder is a commando guard with a security piece holding a kukri on the right. On his left thigh was a tactical soft case and a set of kunai along his right. His left wrist held a tactical TACPAD and his right had the assault breacher. His back waist held a short sword.

Walking to the armor shack nearby he grabbed a M45 tactical shotgun to place on his back, a magnum to put on his thigh, and a battle rifle with a silencer attached to it in his arms. The other four grabbed an arrangement of weapons from a sniper rifle and assault rifles to grenade launchers and rocket launchers. With everyone geared up the group walked to another section of the bay where a row of pods was set. Each one stepped into their own pod before sealing it behind them and waited for the ship to be in position for their launch.

Zabuza's scout team had moved to a secured location before sending a signal to the ship through a beacon. With the signal being sent the ship above moved closer into position before launching 5 pods containing the Spartans. Smashing into the ground in the area the pods doors opened up for the Spartans to come jumping out to secure the location with the scout squad assisting.

A quick look around the location showed that the area was safe for reinforcements. In the form of firebase landing in the clearing showed the starting of their temporary base as turrets started landing nearby. Pelicans soon followed with all sorts of crafts and manpower to reinforce the base and create an army.

With Naruto recognizing Shikamaru on the ground taking charge he led the Spartans toward enemy territory to start the fight until the army is ready. He knew that Shikamaru would set up three things first besides guards. That was air power to control the skies, artillery for fire support, and elemental hit squads to cause chaos among the enemy lines.

It was within the first hour of traveling through the snowy lands that the spartan team ran into the first defensive line. It seemed like they were focusing their troops towards the UNSC SOF armies. A few elites and grunts were standing on and around their hovering guard tower. Naruto giving the signal to his team charged out of cover firing at the elites first. Caught unaware the elites had rounds smacking into their unguarded bodies dropping them.

Daisy-023 flanking right went towards the high ground with her sniper as Naomi-010, Ralph-103, and Joesph-122 followed after him forming a line as they pushed forward. Rounds a gunfire were firing off in a constant suppressive fire as Zabuza's scout squad linked up with them from the side. Giving the order for the Spartans to keep pushing forward he sprinted over to them.

"Status!"

"Enemy has deployed most of their forces to fight on the other front. Reinforcements are coming to back the enemies in this location" started Zabuza. "They aren't setting up for a counter offensive. They are just trying to hold us off"

"Understood. Zabuza call in our forces to our location. We need to push forward hard. Haku your up" he orders returning to the Spartans as Haku followed behind him forming seals.

Sliding to a stop he aimed his battle rifle at the enemy elite dropping it with three bursts to the head as Haku landed behind him slamming her hands down on the ground. In the slowly crumbling enemy lines ice spikes formed up stabbing into Covenant forces. Naruto continued shielding her with his body as he moved forward allowing her to use jutsu after jutsu in her own element. The surrounding nature allowed for her to easily summon ice dragons and mirrors to wreak havoc.

Covenant forces were running to avoid the ice attacks only to be picked off once they left their cover by the Spartans. A ghost could be seen charging them only for an ice pillar to form in front. Unable to dodge in time the ghost smashed directly into it in an explosion of plasma fire. The attacks continued on until they had to slow down to running low on ammo, enemy reinforcements arriving, and Haku running low on chakra.

Using wreckage as cover the combined teams chose their shots carefully as the enemies were slowly stacking up against them. They could even see enemy wraiths approaching. It was their luck that as they were getting closer hornets and pelican gunships came from the sky raining rounds upon them and the enemy lines. With the enemy suppressed another few pelicans landed behind the teams and started offloading forces.

Marines were setting up positions as from the side you could see felynes in army green armor running out with supplies strapped to their back. Finding the safest way possible they ran up to the Spartans leading and passed off fresh ammo to them. Two had approached Ralph-103 and handed him a chain-gun with an ammo pack. Naomi-010 was handed a rocket launcher to use while the felyne stayed nearby in cover having spare rounds on his back for her. With the marines out and moving forward with the Spartans, more pelicans came landing dropping of different vehicles to support the push. They needed to reach the relic before the Covenant do something to it.

Elemental's Freedom Academy

Once again, the kids were learning underneath's Kora's guidance. Just because things were happening outside of the ship doesn't mean they can get away from school. The academy was actually one of the safest spots on the ship for different reasons.

The kids were learning at an even more accelerated rate due to the close attention Kora provides to each of them. Like usual she lets the kids ask a single question of their choice outside the current subject when they have performed outstanding. Azula was the one who performed the best so was chosen to ask the question.

"I have a question about our father and home world. I was told that he was made to become a Spartan. The first Elemental Spartan. What is so different between a regular person, an elemental, and a Spartan?" she asked as Kora smirked appearing in her orange hologram in front of the class

"Well, the main difference between a regular human and an elemental is the existence of chakra. This chakra strengthens the body and allows for supernatural feats. Like controlling elements, minds, and even gravity. There are an endless amount of possibilities for them.

While a human and elemental can have a baby together-" she started as some kids giggle at that "-and the baby will have chakra as well but the strength wont be the same as the parent. There are some exceptions to the rules like all of you" she stated confusing them

"Us?"

"Correct. Your father has one of the strongest recorded charka levels in history along with powerful genes. So strong that any kids from him will have strong our just as strong charka levels as him. It seems like it doesn't even have to be elemental or human for it to be true if you look at your siblings"

"How would one determine our charka levels?"

"Well Elemental had adopted a way since the old times to determine a person's level in charka. Once unlocked to starts as student, gennin, chunin, jounin, anbu, sannin, and kage. There are also levels in between those like low, mid, high, and even Tokubetsu. The highest rank is God Kage which is only attain by a rare few"

"And what are we?" "You are unranked as you have charka flowing through your body, but it is not unlocked. Once it is unlocked, we can determine your level and even train you to improve it"

"How do we unlock it?" "Well one way is to train to do so. The other way would be for your father to use his chakra to unlock yours. Parent's chakra can harmonize with the offspring to produce amazing results. Your father as an elemental would be a Tokubetsu Jounin.

But back to the original question a Spartan is an enhanced human. They are trained and made to do things that surprise even Elementals. Improved speed, strength, reactions, and so much more" she played a quick recording to show the amazing feats of a Spartan. "Now imagine an Elemental combined with a Spartan. That is what your father is. One of a kind. Now I answered more than one question, so you have some extra studying to give me" she smirked at their groaning faces.

P.S. I'm thinking about creating another Halo/Naruto story but without the chakra elements added to it, as well as all the other additions. This includes other races and ships. Another perspective caught my attention that would work for Naruto in Halo. What do you think?
