Important Question: Should I add Kushina to the mix of relationships with Naruto? Also any other Uzumaki's like Mito or Karin?

ONI Meeting Office, Reach City

Naruto, Kushina, and Hiruzen were sitting in front of a round table that was filled with other ranking officials, military members, and ONI members. The talk was about everything to do with the Maelstrom company. Looking around you could see that no military members had less than the rank of vice admiral.

"Let's start this from the top and work our way through everything" said a female ONI board member gaining the rooms attention. "This ship you have created is massive. Bigger than Covenant ships that we have 'seen' so far. You reported that this ship is a mixture of tech you developed and re engineered Covenant and Forerunner technology. Why haven't you created more ships or spread that technology around?" she asked.

Clearing his throat Naruto took the lead on the answers for the questions. "We don't have the resources to mass produce that ship and keep it fully operational. We still haven't gotten it fully staffed and we need to train the new incoming staff on its operations. We also have a lot of experimental tech on board that is running through its testing phase. We would wipe ourselves out if we gave you tech that didn't work and killed us. Better to let us hold onto it and test before handing it over. It keeps the mistakes and potential casualties low. We have already tested the shielding which we gave to you for your ships and with the recent campaign we did, we have done enough tests and gather data on the slip space drive to hand over to you" he answered as she nodded in satisfaction.

"Wise decision. We don't need any slip space drive malfunctions ripping our ships in two. We are using that shield tech for the Infinity Project and can add that drive to it as well. Are there other projects in the works?". She really wanted to get all her worth from this meeting to improve their military and their chances against the enemy. The Infinity Project will help secure that.

"There are many projects in the works. We are working on the Covenant personnel shields and vehicle shields. We are also focusing on laser tech weaponry for the ships. Reports are coming in that lasers are more effective than projectiles against shielding" he explained as he saw from personal experience that the lasers tore up Covenant vessels. It was some of the tech he made sure was installed on his vessels.

"Alright the next thing. Those new ships that arrived with you. What are they?" she questioned. None have them seen anything like it. The way it moved and stood defied the regular standards of ship movement that they were use to.

"They are Forerunner warships known as Dragoons. We were able to acquire three of them while preventing the Covenant from attaining any. We hope to study them more and replicate the tech". This was true but it was on the bottom of their to do list. Looking over the vessels would require a lot of personal, time, and resources. Better to leave it in Precious Justice hands at the moment. She knows the workings of the ship better than anyone right now.

"Alright what about those new aliens you captured?". This was a hot subject because this was the first time they captured anyone from the Covenant. They usually fight to the end or there would be no opportunity to do so.

"They are known as Huragok. They are the Covenant engineers. They are harmless to everyone which is why the Covenant bully them to work for them. They are happy to work for us as we treat them with respect and care. They are helping us study the tech faster but we are keeping them all under guard until we can truly trust them". But it was highly unlikely that they would do anything but help us. From the reports given they are extremely happy where they are and very curious about us.

"You have a lot projects and things going on at the moment. Wouldn't it make sense to spread it out with others?" spoke up a civilian. This was a chance to get in on what they were doing and cut a price of profit for themselves.

"No" stated Hiruzen cutting all chances of that plan going through. "It would make things take longer. We have the brightest minds and the best technology working on this. We even have people who are becoming highly specialized in these things. Giving it to others would make things take 20 to 30 years. We can get things done in 10. We are already working on methods to increase health care and the longevity of A.I. Too much progress and work has been done to just rip it apart to hand to others." He finished to which many officials agreed to. Hiruzen is a well trusted man with a clean record. If he says something, you better believe it.

"Alright we will leave that alone as you are showing results compare to other projects we have running. Admiral Namikaze, it is understood that you now have multiple Spartan teams under your command with the addition of the Spirit of Fire. Red Team, Omega Team, and Kilo Team. Will that be a problem, or will we need to split them up? Maybe to other ships and commands"

"No mam. There is already a facility on the ship that gives them all their needs and more. We have the staff to make sure they are fully combat ready" she answered with confidence as the official gave a nod to the answer.

"With those things settled we shall go into the requests from you. You are requesting supplies, personal, old and damaged ships, and the designs of our cruisers and the Epoch carriers. We can give all of these but we need a reason for the designs and ships"

"We will use the ships to make new ones or repair them. We will also use the designs to build new ships to increase our fleet size once our ship bay is built here on Reach"

"We will agree on the deal of you building us 15 cruisers and 1 Epoch carrier"

"It can be done if you give the supplies for them separately for what we requested"

"Done"

And with that the meeting soon wrapped up. Of course, when everyone was getting up to talk Naruto pulled the lead official to the side to hand off the information on the deadly parasite known as the Flood. They needed to be informed but this information shouldn't be spread around too fast. He also did this in the hopes of getting some favors to which the woman smirked at him.

"Margaret Parangosky is my name. Give me more stuff like this and I'll reward you more. I will increase your supplies and give you one of my contacts names who is creating a project you will be very interested in. His name is Colonel James Ackerson. I will inform him to let you in on the project. Your team's help would be much welcomed" she finished before walking off

With the matters settled there they were on the way back to the base. They could see that with the different types personal and robots working on the base, which should be up in running within a month. The ship repairs were already done and hovering above were two finished Frigates with their upgrades. You could see that the armor was a bit smoother and a lighter shade, as well as Forerunner glyphs running along the sides. It was time to relax and finish projects and things before moving to new things. Well after the meetings with the clan officials. Something Shaak Ti had set up in one of the ludicrous offices in Reach City. He just needed to prepare the kids that were coming with them. Those excited chakra enhanced minions. Thank God for Kage Bunshin.

A few days later

It was finally the day of the meeting. Everyone was dressed professionally and the girls left it up to him to get the kids ready. Sozen, Sasken, and Azula made it easy for him. Sasuki disciplined her kids well to be well behaved. Inosuke and Inodaya were quite as well but well behaved as well. It seemed like they were very curious about the meeting. Boruto and Himawari on the other hand were difficult. He had to manhandled Boruto into his kimono while Himawari cheered and laughed. He thought he was slick thinking he could escape which was why he was under his arm like a sack. Himawari was simple as all she wanted was to be carried by him. Simple for him to do and to prevent Azula's jealousy he carried them both with the other arm close to his chest. A simple feat for a man of his strength.

"Alright kids, we have a very important meeting with some of our family members. So be at your best behavior. Especially you Boruto. Do so and I'll take you all out for some ice cream" he offered as most of the kids cheered except Azula.

"No" she stated "I want you to unlock my chakra" she stated as he looked at her wide eye and then smirked. "You got it. I'll do it for you and the others as well. Get you all started on some training basics as well" he offered as they all cheered.

Hearing the cheering Aayla, Ino, Sasuki, and Hinata walked into the living room to see the sight of the kids cheering Naruto on as he stood in the middle flexing about proudly.

"Come on kids, we need to go" spoke up Sasuki gaining the groups attention. "Yes, Kaa-san" the kids called out following her out the door. "You too Naruto" she added with a smirk when seeing him frown

"I am not no kid" he called out as she just nodded at him. "Sure your not come along boy" she waved over. "So, I'm not kid but a dog huh. You're gonna get it tonight" he warned following them outside.

"What's mom gonna get tonight?" questioned Azula as Naruto smiled at her. "Disciplined" he answered as they all were outside heading to the large limo that Kiba was standing next to nervously.

Kiba opened the door for everyone to get in before only Naruto and Aayla were left outside. "Calm down Kiba. It's just your mom. Plus, I'm the one who has to face her fangs, not you" he reasoned

"Just because you are facing her first doesn't mean she won't come after me for desert" he warned with dread on his face.

"Don't worry Kiba" started Aayla showing her pad to him. "Based on her meetings in the past I predict she will maybe just break your legs" she offered as on the pad it shows the list of casualties that Tsume had. He could only look at the numbers in horror.

"On second thought-" he started before Naruto pushed him inside the vehicle. "No hiding. I have to face the music just like you. Let's be a man and get it over with. She might just break only one leg" he explained as Kiba whimpered. With a roll of her eyes Aayla climbed into the vehicle as well and off they were to Reach City.

Reach City

Looking out the windows the kids were in awe at the new sights and buildings. Granted they couldn't compare to the sights in the dome from the ship. You could see more there from the stars, cities, and planets. But it was a nice change of scenery. The car traveled through the city before stopping in the heart of it in front of a large building. A guard for the building walked up to the limo and opened the door for them all to come walking out into the building. It's time to face the music.
