The intersection of the street before the entrance mall can be illuminated with extreme activity. Maelstrom forces consisting of marines, ODST's, shadows, and Spartans using different sorts of weaponry and vehicles to hold of the Covenant. Backing the Covenant were elites, grunts, hunters, and jackals using their own weaponry and vehicles. Even with the Covenant having superior numbers they still couldn't break through the human's defensive line. In the background behind the Maelstrom forces ships could be seen lifting and landing evacuating civilians and the injured.

The explosion from a nearby plasma grenade sent Naruto skidding across the floor with his armor's shield activating yellow and going down in power a bit. Moving to a knee he formed a hand seal and slammed his hand on the ground creating an earth wall that blocked incoming shots towards him. A nearby puddle on the ground allowed for him to look at his refection. Black spartan armor covered in scrapes, burns, cracks, dirt, and blood of enemies and allies. This showed a testament of how durable their armor is.

A powerful explosion of blue plasma smacked into his shield forcing him to duck lower as he could see his earth wall being slowly disintegrated. From the plasma he could feel the heat come off of it as his shields glowed bright yellow before slowly failing in some areas. Some of the pieces of his armor started to glow bright hot yellow for a few seconds until the plasma went away leaving a steaming red that slowly faded away to black. Around him the ground was steaming, and the puddle was now completely evaporated.

Off to the side a plasma mortar that Naruto could now identify it coming from a Covenant wraith was about to land on his troops when a shadow formed hand seals and slammed his hands on the ground. Forming up and around them was a large half dome rock covered that absorbed the impact with a large explosion before crumbling down harmlessly around them. In retaliation a boom sound went off as a scorpion tank fire an explosive timed round into the attacking wraith. In comparison to other rounds fire and exploding on impact, this round pierced deep into the wraiths body and exploded inside.

Focusing back on the enemy he leaped to the side to get behind the cover of a warthog firing at the enemy line, he aimed his battle rifle and continued firing. "Shikamaru, what's the status of the evacuation!" he yelled into his comms as the gunner of the warthog was shot in his shoulder by a needler sending him crashing to the ground. With the turret unmanned a Spartan III nearby jumped into the turret and gunned down the jackal with a spray of rounds.

Nearby two shadow medics slid down to the injured marine placing their green glowing palms on his wounded shoulder. Healing up the major injuries ac quick as they can they removed the pink crystal and threw it away as it exploded 15 seconds later. Once the injury was stable enough, they had nearby marines evacuate him to a Mastodon that held other injured patients. They would be moved to the evacuation site within moments.

:We are at 89 percent done. When we reach 95 percent, we will call in for you to pull back. Approximately 20 mikes. Demolitions have already secured your evac route. Pelicans and Condors have been assigned to pull the last of you out: radioed back Shikamaru.

"Roger.

Everyone 20 mikes! Keep up the line and we are out of here!" he yelled to his troops before firing and gunning down a gutsy elite who thought to charge their line.

:Be aware!: a voice sounded off in his and other leaders headset. :Banish forces are incoming. They are extremely hostile to both ours and Covenant forces. Shoot to kill with extreme prejudice is authorized:

"Banished forces?" questioned a spartan next to him looking at him confused.

"Picture the Covenant but not religious like them" he explained to her as the sounds of roars were heard coming down another section of the road. Maelstrom and Covenant forces alike looked down the way to see a large force a aliens armed with gray and red weaponry and armor charging. Leading the charge were three brutes wielding hammers of different kinds.

Upon noticing the army, the Covenant forces could be shouting in rage at them and starting firing and charging at them. An elite in maroon armor pulled out an energy sword and lead the charge roaring "HERTIC!" with a few other elites.

What started off as a stalemate turn into a bloodbath as the Covenant and Banished forces crashed into each other. The close combat started to increase in size until it got to the point of spreading into both Covenant and Maelstrom lines. Troops of all sides were fighting and littering the ground with their bodies.

A larger brute could be see laughing in glee as he used his gravity hammer to smash into a hunter's shield sending the being flying to the side dead. One spartan could be seen landing on the back of a elite trying to stab her dagger down deep but was prevented by the elites hands grabbing her arms. The struggle lasted for a few seconds only for a large brute to smack into the chest of the elite releasing red sparks and energy. The impact shattered the elite's chest as well as the Spartan's arm.

The two were sent flying and crashing into a nearby wall with only the elite dead. The spartan was slow to climb to her feet as the brute walk up to her with his gravity hammer on his shoulder.

"Hello little demon" he smirked at her struggling form but stopped when Naruto jumped down in front of him with his battle rifle raised. "Oh! And are you the big demon? Stepping up to challenge me, Atriox" he stated with a smirk.

Naruto's tracker picked up her distressed when she was attacked. This brute was the first to injure a Spartan he assisted in training like that. "Rosenda-A344, pull back and find a Shadow Medic. I'll handle this from here" he ordered. With a nod she was running off as he fired his battle rifle at Atriox.

With his armor hand raised Atriox charged forward as his shields and armor soaked up the damage. Once he got in close, he swung his hammer with tremendous speed and power shocking Naruto. He never saw a brute attack this fast.

With the hammer coming in, he was able to only lean back a little in time to avoid bodily damage, but the hammer did smash into his rifle sending it flying far into the distance. With his hands free he draws his dagger and stabbed forward lodging it deep into his stomach. Feeling massive resistance, he realized he only stabbed armor. An armored fist to his shoulder was his reward that sent him shaking to his knees.

Pulling chakra into his body he leaped forward tackling him into his body to take him down but only pushed his body sliding backward but still on his feet. Moving to the side he avoided a downward hammer swing that smashed into the ground in red sparks but sent him hovering in the air a bit. A fist was heading for him in midair which he spins over and launched his own at Atriox's face.

Stumbling back from the impact Atriox looked back at Naruto who landed and pulled out two more daggers. Spitting a small amount of blood from his mouth to the side he let an evil and cruel smirk appear on his face at the challenge.

"You draw blood from me. A worthy challenge. What is your name Spartan?"

"The name is Naruto now fuck off" he stated forming hand seals and placing his hands on his mouth gaining a wide eye look from him.

"A spartan who can use the elements as well!" he shouted as a large fireball covered this vision and exploded on impact covering the view. Charging from the smoke with some smalls flames on his armor he rammed Naruto into a nearby car.

"Yes! Fight on! You surprise me more!" he shouted in joy as Naruto moved his body from the car and grabbed it. With a boost of chakra, he picked it up and launched it at the brute who slammed his hammer at it, launching it back into the air with the sound of a crunch. The car flipped to the side and landed into the side of the building.

With Atriox's attention not completely focused on him, he missed the chakra chains latching onto his leg and pulling them from under him. With him handing on his back he looked up to see Naruto high above him in the air with his hand cocked back.

Orbit

The space lit up with the Banished forces now attacking the Maelstrom forces as it now changed the combat situation. The Maelstrom forces had to spilt up the fleet to attack on hold off the Banish forces while Elemental's Freedom escorted by a few ships continued the evacuation. Off to the side the Covenant forces were fighting the Banish in another battle that was steadily being brought to the previous battle.

Within moments the two battles would combine making the evacuation extremely difficult. Admiral Hiruzen and many of the other leaderships knew this well enough. Reports on the ground showed how chaotic the three-way slug fest was going.

"We are at 94 percent completed with the evacuation. The ground forces will begin to pull back for the final evacuations" reported the A.I Precious Justice from Hiruzen's display on the command chair.

"Good. Have our forces slowly draw back and calculate our escape route. The minute that the last craft is onboard, we are leaving. Set up a series of random jumps away from colonized systems. When we complete the jumps, scan every vessel for trackers" he ordered as from the side he could see the combat raging. A Banished Destroyer was crashing down into the planet covered in fire and damages.

From inside his ship reports were coming in nonstop about what was entering his ship. In the bay pelicans, condors, and evacuation shuttles were landing offloading passengers who were being directed to a refuge sector. They would be process in order to treat their wounds, identify themselves, given the necessities to live and for lodging, and to find their loved ones who were here already.

Another location people with injuries were be moved to a massive facility within the ship known as the hospital. Medics were working around the clock treating patients left and right. Some of the victims of the war needed to be place in cryo due to the severity of their wounds. They would need more treatment that would take too much time at the moment. With them in cryo they can save their life and treat them later. Time was very precious.

Off to the side ships of different varieties were coming in sustaining heavy damages. Some were able to dock safely while other just laid crumpled on the ships landing platform. They were unable to maintain their hover due to the damages. Occasionally you would hear or even felt a sudden thud of the ship dropping to the floor. Sentinels and engineers were working fast on the ships to put out the fires and sparks but there were some objects they focused on first.

On every ship that came on they went immediately to the stored arms and made sure they were secured. No need for a nuke to go off in the ship. Sentinels had the additional duty to scan for enemy devices and hidden troops. Already a stockpile of devices found were building up on the side once they were disabled. Luckily there were no hidden enemy forces now.

Leaving the massive ship were ships ready to go back into combat was well as small aircraft that would continue the evacuations. Currently leaving the bay after receiving repairs and rearmament was the UNSC Cruiser Pillar of Autumn. They were part of the UNSC fleet defending the planet before Maelstrom arrived to support them. The captain of the ship known as Captain Jacob Keys was highly impressed with the ship's capabilities and was eager to go back into combat to continue defending humanity.
