Unknown Space

Erupting from the slipspace was the remaining Maelstrom fleet that linked up with the advance fleet of Frigates, Destroyers, and Suppliers. With the force now linked up they immediately started moving at a rapid speed. They had performed multiple jumps and sent out numerous bogeys in order to shake off any pursers, but they needed to make sure they were not being tracked or followed. Which is why they are now moving through unknown space to confirm the removal of all possibilities. Leave nothing up to chance. While they were doing so, sentinels and scans were running non-stop in order to make sure no boogeys and trackers were found.

The Elemental's Freedom Bay was a massive source of activity as ships were entering inside in order to seek repairs and rearmament. Suppliers entered first in order to drop off the supplies they were holding. Once they had dropped off the main bulk of their items, they would leave and attach to the top deck of the ship in order to send more supplies but in a slower paste.

At the same time all sorts of ships from Frigates to even the Punic class carrier the 'Red Death', were coming in for repairs. The Red death had sustained massive amounts of damage as she was the target for revenge. Dents, holes, fires, and other sorts of damages littered her hull. She like many other ships needed some serious repairs but with their supply stock and personal they would be good to go in a week. Something Tenten can safely say as she reviewed the damages on her pad.

Her pad showed the Elemental's Freedom had sustained very minor damages. Concentrated firepower on certain locations made the shields in that sector fail enough for some damage to hit the hulls. Not much of an issue. The sentinels could fix that in a day or two.

The Punic Class carrier the Red Death had sustained heavy damages. They would need the full week for it to be fully repaired. The shield generator was fried and needed replacement. Many of the hull's panels needed to be replace and repaired. One engine needed to be stripped and replaced. It was a miracle that it was able to make the slipspace jump. And then numerous of its cannons needed to be replaced.

Next the three Epoch-Carriers only needed to be rearmed. Their shields held up perfectly and the combined firepower kept the enemies either at bay or to an early grave. If they had the resources, she would recommend that they just continuously make just more of these. A fleet of these would put the fear of man in any enemy.

Next were the different cruisers. They had sustained the most damages being the wall for the fleet. They took in massive amounts of damage that their shields and armor absorbed and like a sledgehammer they hammer that damage back. To the side she could see a heavy cruiser on a platform leaking fires and smokes that sentinels worked on stopping. Looking up at the different levels she could see other cruisers in similar shape. She was sure happy that the vents on the platforms and above them removed the smoke from the area.

Getting to the smaller ships she saw on her pad that they ranged from heavy damages to minor. Frigates, destroyers, corvettes, and a few suppliers. Lucky for them those were easy to fix for the engineers. Humans, Felyne and Melynx, and sentinels all working together made repairs very easy for them.

In processing Center (Dom City)

Tsunami taking on the position as the lead in in-processing for newcomers and refugees was looking at her pad in her office. She was still having people in process from planet side. With this ongoing she also had different tasks that must be done with them. Identifying who they were and where their loved ones are. Requests of where they want to go now that their home is gone. If they wanted to migrate here what job and role they would fulfill.

While quite a few requests came in for wanting to join them and even some wanting to join their military, some she really didn't want to entertain. Orphans wanted to join the military so they could have revenge. 'Yeah, that's not happening'. They would be going to therapy to work out those issues before the thought of military comes up. She's not ONI or the UNSC. She won't be turning them into weapons of war.

Another was requests to be governor or mayor of the city here. It sounds like they are reaching for power now that their power is gone. They think that this would be a easy place to do so and they would have a army for them to control. Good luck with that. She is going to forward this request to Naruto and Hiruzen along with her opinion. Let them nip the issue on the bud. She had other priorities.

Medic Center

Tsunade with the help of Sakura, Shizune and many others were working on multiple patients from the war. They tried to save as many as they could but even, they knew that they couldn't save everyone. But with their current tech they had better chances than many other locations. Cryo also helped to give them time to work on personal which had lowered the fatality rate to 5 percent.

Off to the side in a secluded section was Dr. Catherine Halsey working with groups of scientist and engineers who provided care to the Spartan's. This being the first battle for some of them showed that while they were extremely effective, they weren't invincible. Great thing was they sustained no deaths, but some had received heavy injures. They will survive and be back to fighting form soon enough, but from the reports out of the now 823 Spartans they had 145 would be on the injured list for some time.

One Spartan that she was worried and didn't know how long it would take for him to recover was the one Catherine was working on. She had managed to remove his with some help and was now working on his injuries.

Naruto sure worried her was the thought going through her mind as she pointed to a medic to work on an injury on his arm. Seeing the direction, the medic formed some hand seals and placed her palms glowing with green chakra on it. 'These medics from Elemental are very useful. But we don't have to heal too much as his body is already healing on its own'. He was currently unconscious on the medical bed as they worked on his body. She should be finished with him within the hour.

As for his armor on the other hand to which she looked at on another table. It was wrecked beyond repair. She already started tests for the newer version. Maybe she should just scarp that one for parts and give him the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor V. She'll hold off on it until he wakes up. Once she finishes up here, he would be safe to be moved home for recovery. She just hopes he doesn't take everything that happened this battle to hard.

Naruto's Mindscape

Naruto had gotten use to coming here over the years. He especially came here after a very long training session to relax. With enough practice and some lessons from Ino, he was able to turn it into what it is now. A green grassy field with the sun shinning bright over it. He was leaning up against a tree in the field with loose fitting civilian clothes.

"So, you lost another planet" spoke a voice revealing it to be a red smoke with red glaring eyes floating up next to him.

"Yes, I lost another planet. I was not counting on the Banished to be there as well. I never even heard of them until today Kyuubi" he answered leaning further back so that he was flat against the ground.

"If you would have used my power, they wouldn't be an ounce of an issue"

"You would be useless against ships in outer space. You would also kill both my allies and civilians as well as the enemy" he stated as the voice chuckled. "Guilty as charged"

"You keep that up and I will never let you have your form in here" he warned as a new voice was heard in the sound of a giggle.

Turning to the voice a woman having pale skin and eyes, white long hair down to her ankles, and dressed in a white dress walked up to him. He easily recognized her as Kaguya. The woman who constantly likes to invade his mindscape at her all whim.

"So, you finally ran into the Banished" she stated as she sat down next to him. "What do you think?" she questioned as he narrowed his eyes at her for only a second before answering. "They are strong, coordinated, smart, and ruthless. No religious fanatics among them, but you know about that already, didn't you"

"You are correct. I know many things that you and your kind have not run into yet. But you will in time. I do hope you are ready when that happens. You are just tapping into the secrets of those lowly Forerunners" she stated

"Lowly? They are the most advance species we have ever come across. And that's only what they left behind so far" he replied while thinking if they are lowly to her, how advanced is she.

"Yes. They are about a 6 maybe a 7 if I'm feeling generous compared to me on a 1 to 10 scale" she explained answering his thoughts. "If you are so advanced, why don't you share some of that technology with us? Help us defeat the Covenant and Banished"

"Multiple reasons. My advancements are so far ahead you wouldn't be able to make sense of it. By the time you find out how to use a fraction of its potential, those factions would wipe you out. Better to learn at your own paste. Another reason is balance". "Balance?"

"Correct. From the knowledge and experience I have gain with my species we have learned that this universe lives on a form a balance. A balance of evil vs good you can say. One form of balance would be the UNSC vs the Covenant. To mess with that balance would force the other side to compensate in some form or another. With that in mind what do you think comes to mind in this situation?" she questioned at the end making him think for a second.

"If the Covenant is the balance to the UNSC then there must have been something to balance the Forerunners. There is also something that balances against you as well. But what happens when one side of the balance wins?"

"Then a new balanced is formed. If the Covenant or the UNSC wins the war a new balance would be created the balance against the winner. There is a lot of balances that happened before your time that are waiting to be discovered if you dig far enough" she answered

While he was happy, he got the answer, that just left him with so many more. One thing that he gained from the conversation was that she was of a different species. A species on a more advanced level then his own who is most likely watching everything that is happening. Maybe even playing a role in some events that she is just not revealing to him at the moment. It also made him wonder if they will ever face these other forms of balances. They are already losing against the Covenant. If they appear then they wouldn't stand a chance against them. Maybe Precious Justice had some answers to his questions.

Interrogation Room

Having the training to gain information from people who were tightlipped, Anko was in control. Sitting down on a chair in front of her were three elites and a prophet. She will get them to talk, or she will just kill them. No kid gloves on them. They refuse and they will just capture more. They were expendable to the Covenant, and they knew it.
