Main Palace Meeting Room

Hinata was seated in front of Messana as they talked about the current situation. Standing to the side with his arms crossed was Naruto half paying attention to the meeting and half paying attention to the reports appearing on his visor. To the side blocking the entrance doors were Azula-D009 and Nawaki-D031 in their army green Mjolnir mark iv armor. The others in the team were just outside.

Naruto from the video feed could see that the 1st Fleet, 3rd Fleet, 2nd Defender fleet, and the 3rd Home Fleet had already arrived and in defensive positions. The 1st Support fleet had just arrived and were waiting for his orders to begin the evacuation but with the sudden turn of events he just had them on standby in orbit.

"Prime Minister Tevos" started Hinata. "When you requested are help, we were expecting to evacuate a single planet of maybe around 20 million people. A task that would be extremely difficult to do. Now that we have arrive you actually have five colonized planets with what looks like a space colony according to data. It seems like you have your whole species here with the numbers being in the billions. Maybe even trillions" she stated.

"1.53 trillion in estimation" answered Tevos leaning back in her comfortable chair and placing her crossed fingers on her lap. "But asking you to save all of them would be too much. So we just need for you to save enough of us so our species would live on. We can reproduce and continue on".

Hinata rubbed her forehead in frustration at the ease of which she made the choice. "Well, it seems you don't know me or us that well. We don't deal in, excuse my language 'half ass solutions'" she glared receiving a raised eyebrow. "We won't just let your whole species get slaughtered like this. We will just have to fight and save all of you".

"Saving that many people? How would you do this?" Tevos questioned as Hinata looked at Naruto to see if he could answer the solution.

Removing the video feed he took a deep breath as his helmet retracted off his face. "We won't be able to evacuate everyone from this area so that plan is off the table. We would have to permanently defend this sector from the Covenant AND the Banished" he stated getting wide eye looks from everyone.

"When they arrive, they will know your location permanently, so we will have to divert our forces and resources here forever more in order to maintain your protection. We would have to get something big in compassion to maintain this effort as well."

"You are talking about fighting off a Covenant invasion and winning. Something the UNSC has never done before. I'm sure you would ask something massive from us, but I would ask for you to be within reason. I don't want my people indebt to you to the point of servitude" requested Tevos as Naruto huffed a bit and crossed his arms.

"Your people will of course be in-debt with us regardless. We have saving you after all. But what I ask of you is for your whole species and planets to join the UMC. You will still run your people and territory the same as before, but you will help support our efforts. We won't force anyone to join our forces, but we will leave the option for anyone to join. Our people will migrate here and some of your people can migrate to our own planets. We will also share our tech and resources in order to help each other. Do you agree to these terms?" he finished as an alarm sounded off at a terminal nearby.

Looking at the terminal it showed a video feed the slipspace portal opening up for a Covenant Frigate to come through. It stops in the far reaches of the sector. Following after it numerous of portals started opening up to reveal a Covenant fleet starting to come together. "Time is short on your answer" added Naruto making Tevos suck her teeth.

"Fine. I will have to discuss and persuade some of my follow councilors but they will fall in line. Just protect my people"

"I guess we have a deal". Connecting his comms directly to Precious Justice, he started relaying new commands. "PJ, the new orders are to defend this sector. This is no longer a evacuation. Relay those orders to the fleets. Have the 3rd fleet engage the enemy fleet with all other fleets in the sector support them except for the 3rd Home Fleet. Put all other fleets outside the sector on standby and start bringing in the defensive platforms and dreads" he finished.

: Yes, sir. Orders are being relayed and the dreads and defensive platforms are moving through the slipspace. Dreads eta is 30 seconds. Platforms are 30 minutes away. The 3rd fleet is currently engaging the enemy now: she reported

Orbit

The Covenant fleet had just fully assembled and were now facing the 3rd fleet who moved into position to engage them. At once fighters and bombers were being released from the fleets and attacking one another. In addition to this the UMC had a few advantages against the Covenant fleet. Advantages in the form of MAC's being fired from long distance along with some missiles. Another which were now being deployed in droves were sentinels which attacked with their blue lasers or ripping apart their enemies.

From the bridge of her modified Punic class carrier, Kushina looked on as her fleet started to engage the Covenant fleet. Her fleet containing 10x Epoch Carrier's, 2x Freedom Mega Carrier class, 238x different types of cruisers, 104x destroyers, and 322x frigates. According to scans she is facing a force equally as large at the moment. If she was the UNSC, she would be worried but she wasn't. She is in the UMC which had technology and advancements that put them at equal footing or having the advantage over them.

'They now needed the numbers to defeat us' she thought with a smirk as a Covenant bomber dropped a bomb on a frigate only for the explosion to be absorbed by the ship's yellow shield. In return a blue laser fired from its turret destroying it.

'Yeah, they are fucked' she smirked watching another Covenant Cruiser erupt into flames as a series of missiles denoted upon it.

Behind the battle near the planets, two large blue portals opened up for a Forerunner Ship Dragoon Dreadnought to appear. With its systems active they just maintain guard stance in front of the planets. It was 30 minutes into the fighting that platforms containing a massive double barrel cannon started appearing one after another. With each platform arriving, they turned on with blue lighting to show they were completely controlled by A.I.'s.

Currently 17 platforms had arrived but only 10 were ready as the other 7 were still booting up the rest of the systems and going through checks. But that was enough for PJ to work with at the moment. These cannons and platform weren't small by any stretch. The platform itself in size comparison could be compared to the Epoch carrier. The massive cannon on it took up most of the space with other sorts of small weapons stationed all around. Weapons like mini-MAC's, missile launchers, lasers, drones, and different types of guns.

Kushina was deep into fighting a Covenant CAS when alert appeared on her computer. Recognizing what it was when she saw it came from PJ, started ordering all ships in the way to pull out and start retreating back towards the planets. From her radar she could see her ships moving out of the way until the all clear showed on the radar.

"Put maximum power into our shields and brace yourself!" yelled Kushina making the crew grab onto nearby things to hold them steady. Within a minute of the order, the bridge's screens lit up green with bright light as powerful large green lasers streaked through the space destroying any Covenant forces in the way to the Covenant CAS. Upon impact on the ship who already received a beating from Kushina, it erupted in a massive explosion shaking the nearby ships.

"Get a hold of yourselves and pull back to the new defensive perimeters. We will provide security on the new platforms as they take out the forces from long distance" ordered Kushina gripping her bridge chair as the ship moved to follow her orders.

With the 3rd fleet disengaging from the Covenant Fleet to form a defensive perimeter around the defensive platforms, the Covenant moved back in order to gain some distance outside the massive range of them. They seemed to be regrouping and rethinking their strategy.

With Naruto

He had his arm up projected a small 3d picture of the battlefield that recently happened in space. It was a really good start but far from over. He knew they would request reinforcements before attacking again. Maybe even look for a weak point in their defenses. But that gave them time to prepare.

Zooming back to the planet he gave authorization for defenses to be placed at civilized areas in the planets. He wanted it to be suicidal for any enemy force to land there if they did managed to break through the defenses. At the same time, he call in three more fleets to guard the space colony personally before turning off the device to look at Tevos.

"We have warded off the enemy for now, but it is not over. They will attack again but in greater numbers" he stated as Tevos released a deep breathe in relief.

"They are going to be back to attack us again. What do you suggest we do?"

"Increase the defenses of this sector constantly. Once they attack again we need to make them lose so many numbers to the point that they would see attacking here a pointless endeavor. I will have ships lay down mines for them while more defensive platforms are turned on.

We will work the planets defenses in layers similar to my own home sector. Build up the defenses on the planet itself. Then defenses around the immediate orbit including defensive fleets. Followed that would be layered defensive lines and fleets with mines being placed on the outskirts. Between the defensive lines we will have patrols moving around. On the ground we will have different armies ready. I'm not foolish enough to think our defenses are impenetrable. But I will personally make them regret stepping a foot on any soil" he finished as Tevos looked at him extremely impressed.

This is a leader to years of experience on his belt. She looked through his public records well enough. The titles and tags on him were numerous. Commander, Vice Admiral, Spartan, Leader, Maelstrom owner, War Hero, Demon, Death, Savior, Elemental, Husband, Boyfriend, Lover, and a Father. Those were just some of the things that came attached to him. He was something you would not expect from a man but a god. And who wouldn't want to be tied to a god in some form. Him taking control here is just a step in the progress. She knew other ways to move further in her own goals.

"I thank you so much for what you have done for us. I know that giving you our support and tech is one way to form a bridge between us. To further enhance this bridge of trust I will share some information we have known throughout the years that may be useful to you" she stated making Naruto and Hinata look at her curiosity .

"What do you know about the Otsutsuki?" she finished with a smile as they look at her in shock as a feminine growl resounded in Naruto's mind.
