It's been a while since I checked the comments, so I thought I address some things. I appreciate all your opinions and comments, whether it's positive or negative.

The truth is no matter what kind of story is told, there are going to be those who don't like it.

This story is still in the build-up phase. There are so many events and little things that need to happen before the main and final phases begin. If I mention something in a chapter and it seems as if it is not referenced for 20 chapters after, it's probably just because it is just going to be mentioned later.

I have a clear vision of what I want this story to be and what is going to happen and to be honest, I'm too lazy to write something when it has no value to me.

This is also my first experience in publishing my writing after a decade, and back then, I was only a teenager writing for fun with friends.

I will appreciate any ideas as to what you want to see in the future and the type of content. As a last note, let me mention that this story, while following many canon information, is not completely canon.

Some facts and stories are changed to help the storytelling. While I am trying to keep so many things the same, there are differences. Naruto came from a world where they lost the war. That alone should tell you there were differences between that world and this one.

And I keep hearing why didn't Naruto leave the village in response to the abuse. That is due to his fragmented mind. He did not know anything about those events until he learned how to do so. If it helps, think of it as blocked memories from trauma. The only reason that those 2 chapters that go a bit into abuse are there is that they will be mentioned in the future.

When the time comes, the story of how and why they lost and all the other information will be revealed. So far, I am only adding mysteries.

Oh and one last thing this story has tragedy as a tag don't ask me why it's tragic.

Naruto closed his eyes for a few moments to gather his thoughts. He wasn't planning on exposing his status as jinchuriki, but there was nothing else he could do in that fight. He was out of chakra, and it was the only source he had.

He would definitely get punished for this, and it would be a setback in his relationship with Danzo, but he could rectify it. He heard Shisui knocking at the door. "Come in," Naruto said.

"Thank you both for coming. I have things to explain but first, let me tell you that what I'm about to reveal to you is an S-rank secret only known to me, the Hokage, and Danzo-sama. If the secret spreads, you will be subjected to a mind walk, and if guilty of spreading the secret, the punishment is death."

"Of course, you can confirm this information with the Hokage. But I advise you to ask for privacy beforehand." Naruto said as they both nodded.

"I am the jinchuriki of the nine-tailed fox. The fox was sealed inside me on the night of the attack by the Yondaime Hokage. While the clan heads are informed about the existence of a jinchuriki, they don't know of my identity."

"I am among the youngest jinchurikis, so it would be dangerous for other villages to know of me. I cannot face other jinchurikis in battle yet, so it is best for my identity to remain a secret."

"The technique I used that night is called a Bijuu dama. It uses the power of the tailed beast to create the bomb. It is one of the most destructive techniques each jinchuriki can use." Naruto said.

"Do you have any other proof for your words, Uzumaki-san?" eagle asked.

Naruto nodded and slowly lifted his shirt up. He channeled some chakra to the seal to make it visible. "I usually use another seal to hide the chakra of the Bijuu, but I can still channel chakra to make it visible," Naruto said.

Shisui and eagle both activated their eyes to take a better look. They used a few quick ANBU hand signs to confirm what they saw. Naruto turned his head away to give them privacy.

There were a few more questions that Naruto answered as best as he could, and then eagle left to give them some privacy.

Naruto couldn't look Shisui in the eyes. he felt ashamed of holding so many secrets from him. "So, are there more secrets you want to tell me, Naru-chan?" He said gently as he sat beside him on the bed.

"I won't lie to you and say no. Because there are more. But I'm not allowed to share them. I'm so sorry." Naruto said.

"Hey, none of that, no. I'm also a shinobi, and we all must keep secrets. Most of them are by order. Just know that it won't change a thing and whenever you need someone to talk to, I'll be here." Shisui said as he put his arm behind Naruto and pulled him to his side.

"Thanks, nii-san," Naruto said with a yawn. His body was still recovering, and the emotional rollercoaster didn't help much. Naruto closed his eyes and slowly drifted into a deep sleep.

It's been a few days now, and Naruto was finally stable enough to move. He wouldn't be able to use chakra for a while longer, but he could move and walk at normal speed. They were getting ready to head back to Konoha.

Naruto finished sealing his stuff and went to their meeting point. Genma was standing there waiting for others. Naruto greeted him with a small bow. He thanked him for the day after the conversation with Shisui and eagle, but he was planning on making him a gift.

The pouch he made Kakashi gave him the idea of making one for Genma. His main idea was to make a pouch that had a few seals on it. Whenever he activated one, he would have access to weapons of that seal specifically.

Since Genma worked with poisons, he could easily access the senbons of each poison. Naruto was also planning on expanding the storage capacity of the pouch for better results.

It would take him a while to make it with trial and error, but he already had some rough drafts of his idea. There would also be a chakra storage and hiding component, so using the pouch wouldn't alert the enemies.

They didn't have to wait long before others came. Naruto wouldn't be able to use Shunshin, so he had to get on Shisui's back and be carried like a child. They were in a hurry to get back to the village, so they couldn't afford to waste time.

Shisui had sent a sparrow ahead to inform Hokage of Naruto's injury and possible delay, but they were still in a hurry.

The trip back was thankfully uneventful. They gave a full report to the Hokage, and Naruto gave back what was left of the medicine and Tsunade's report on the whole event. He didn't give his injury and recovery reports since they fell under the ROOT jurisdiction. Thankfully Tsunade didn't mention anything about his healing abilities.

As soon as they came out of the office, a ROOT agent appeared before them. Shisui wanted to react, but Genma held him back with a hand on his shoulder. Naruto simply gave the agent a nod and waved Shisui goodbye before the agent Shunshined them to the base.

Naruto knew what was coming. He was kneeling inside a room reserved for punishment, and Danzo was waiting for him. He kneeled down and waited for acknowledgment before giving his report.

Danzo didn't even scold him. He just told him to strip. Naruto took off his clothing. There were no longer bite marks on his body, but there was a healing scar where he was impaled.

The next 24 hours were way too long for Naruto. He was used to torture, but Danzo always found new ways to test his limits. There was so much pain and blood he didn't remember much of it.

Danzo had gone easy on him since the Kyuubi wasn't healing him as fast. He managed to stay awake since blacking out meant more punishment. When Danzo told him that he was done was when he allowed himself to fall.

When he came to, he was in the infirmary. His body was fully wrapped in bandages. He wished he could take some painkillers, but it wasn't allowed. After getting checked by the doctor, he was sent to his room.

He had to go back to change the bandages twice a day. His clothing and other items were sent to his room. He took out a scroll to finish one of his projects. It was a gift for his friends.

Since he came back from Uzushio, he has been working on making these. They were small pendants with seals engraved into them. They were made from a hard crystal that could only be found in Uzushio.

The crystals were naturally induced with chakra as they formed and could be used to gather and store natural energy. Naruto made tracking seals on them, which used natural energy to stay active.

The seals were all connected to track one another. Naruto's seal could track them all, but all the others had to do was hold their crystals against each other and activate the tracking seal. They could then use crystals similar to a compass and find each other.

They could also be used to send small pulses of chakra to each other. There were also seals to prevent them from getting stolen. Naruto really thought about it for a long time. There was so much else he wanted to do, but a small crystal could only do so much.

There were also translucent for now, but once the owner channeled chakra to it for the first time, they would take the color of their owner's chakra.

It took Naruto the rest of the week to apply the finishing touches. He also had a few extra for people he knew he wanted to give them to in the future. When it was the weekend he was finally healed enough to go out.

He could finally use chakra in small amounts, and Kurama was healed enough to take care of his injuries. He made a few clones to deliver all the other pendants while he went to Uchiha compound to see Shisui.

He could feel Shisui at his home. He came back from the mission a few hours ago, but it was a short one, and his chakra wasn't tired. Itachi was also home, so he could just pick Shisui and meet Itachi afterward.

He gave the gate guards a bow. Shisui told them that he was allowed in last time, so he wasn't met with resistance. He went to Shisui's house and knocked. After a few moments, Shisui's father answered the door.

"How can I help you?" He asked.

Naruto gave a quick bow. "Hello. It's nice to make your acquaintance. I'm Naruto. Is Shisui home?" Naruto asked.

"Oh, hello, Naruto-kun. I'm Kagami. Shisui's father. Please come in. Shisui told me a lot about you. He is changing in his room. He should come down soon." He said as he made way for Naruto to come in.

Kagami was using a cane to walk with a slight limp. He went toward the kitchen. Naruto knew that he had to retire from his shinobi career due to an injury but didn't know the details. He decided to make notes for the future and hopefully help him.

"I made some mochi ice cream for Shisui. I hope you enjoy them as well. There are a few flavors." Naruto said as he unsealed a few neat boxes and brought them to the kitchen.

"Thank you so much Naruto-kun. I will definitely enjoy them. "Kagami said as they made some small talk.

Soon, Shisui came down with his usual cheerful smile. "Hey, tou-san. I heard some noise. Do we have a guest?" he then saw Naruto, and tackle hugged him. Naruto wanted to jump away at first, but he secretly liked the hugs.

"Hi, Shisui-nii I have something for you and Itachi-kun. Do you have some time?" Naruto asked as Shisui finally let him go.

"Sure thing Naru-chan. I always have time for you." He said as he said goodbye to his father and grabbed Naruto. He Shunshined to the training ground where Itachi was training.

They waited for him to finish. Naruto gave each of them a neatly wrapped box. "It took me a while, but I made these for you guys," Naruto said as they opened the boxes.

"A pendant?" Itachi asked.

"It's made of some crystals I found in Uzushio. I engraved the seals on them. But first, channel some chakra to it." Naruto said.

They both did so. Itachi's pendant turned a tiger orange shade, while Shisui's turned emerald green.

"Oh, wow. What do the seals do?" Shisui asked. Naruto then explained everything to them.

They both wore their pendants the same as Naruto. "Thank you, Naruto-kun. I will cherish this gift," Itachi said as he ruffled Naruto's hair.

Shisui and Itachi sparred for a while. Naruto could only watch them since his body wasn't ready for heavy training yet. Naruto said goodbye since he had a few more things to do.

He returned to the base to work on the proposal for changing the academy's program. He knew he had to propose this in a way that sounded attractive to the clan heads. The Academy fell under the jurisdiction of clans, so this was the easiest way.

He thought of a few proposals. A few of the specializations were related to divisions, but others would fall on Jonins. When the proposal went through, Naruto needed some help to communicate with all the divisions.

He finished his drafts by the night. He brought them to Danzo and got the first approval. It was a hard process to convince him of all the details, but he liked the idea, so it was good.

Naruto had a meeting in the early morning with the Hokage to propose the idea. The Hokage was interested, and after some discussion, he invited him to the next council meeting, which was next week.

After the meeting, Naruto sent a clone to return to the base with the notes and make the necessary changes. It was always a long process to complete the formal documents, but he really wanted all this to work.

He then went to the sealing division to catch up on some work. It was hard and exhausting, but he felt productive. He was finally able to go through most of the sealing texts he brought from Uzushio.

Of course, there were things he didn't want to share since they would be dangerous in the wrong hands, but he donated everything that he deemed safe to the division. It was a huge deal since the art was an Uzumaki clan secret.

Naruto insisted that since there were no Uzumaki's left except for him, he didn't want the art to die. He wanted the legacy of his people to live on. And he could already see some of the results in the works of the other masters.

The texts help them solve many unanswered questions and delve deeper into the world of sealing. The whole division was in bliss. They already made improvements to the protection seals around the village and some of the compounds.

Many clans and shinobi were grateful for the improvements. There was no limit to what the seals could do. All that was needed was extensive knowledge and experiments.

Today Naruto was doing the same thing. He was in a reserved testing room. There were isolation seals all around the walls and area to prevent large-scale damage. After the fight with the god, Naruto had an idea.

He wanted to use gravity and weight seals in battle. If there was a way to apply them from a paper, they could have immobilized the god without having to fight. The problem was these seals needed direct application with ink on the body.

Naruto was trying to come up with modifications to make it possible. The problem was if the seal was drawn on paper, it would only weigh the paper and not the person holding it.

He needed a way to transfer the seal to the body or some other method, but he was drawing a blank. That was why he was here, trying to experiment with some of the methods.

He was trying the applications with simpler seals. He just needed a method to transfer ink or make both objects affected with the seal. He tried for hours, but he wasn't getting any results, so he decided to take a break.

He went to a nearby park where he could feel Shikamaru resting under some trees. He approached him. "Hey, Shikamaru. How are you doing?" Naruto asked.

"Hey, Naruto. Choji was busy with some clan training today, so I decided to do some cloud watching." Shikamaru said.

"Shouldn't you get ready for our next bet? You told me you would master the technique you were working on by next week." Naruto said as he finally decided to sit beside Shikamaru.

"Don't worry. I'm really close. I just needed a break," Shikamaru said as he also sat up.

"Me too, actually. I was working on a seal, but I got stuck. Up for a game?" Naruto asked.

"Troublesome. Sure, do you have the board?" Shikamaru asked.

Naruto nodded as he unsealed the board, and they set up the pieces. He always enjoyed their games, and they always played on the last Sunday of the month. But today, Naruto just needed something to occupy his mind.

Shikamaru improved a lot during their games. He was thinking more critically now, and their games always gave Naruto a run for his money. Naruto knew that soon he wouldn't be able to win all the games, but he would do his best to always be a challenge.

After a while of quiet, Shikamaru asked him about the seal he was struggling with. Naruto explained everything to him. "I don't know what else to do the ink transfer is beyond my current skills. I can apply some simple and small seals by touching a person and chakra, but this seal is too complicated for it." Naruto said as he moved a piece on the board.

"Maybe you are just going about it in the wrong way, and you just want to weigh the opponent down. So why not make the paper stick to them and weigh that down instead? They will be affected by the weight either way." Shikamaru said.

Naruto thought about it for a second. He wasn't sure why he didn't think about it, but it could actually work. "That is genius, Shikamaru. I didn't actually think about it that way. I will still need to think about how to stick it, so it doesn't fall and maybe add a chakra storage component, but it can definitely work." Naruto said.

They finished the game quickly, and Naruto got back to work. The seal he wanted to design was a multi-layer one. The first layer would store chakra for the seal to work. The second would stick it to the opponent, while the third would weigh the paper.

The problem was the amount of chakra that it would take. Weighing seals worked based on the weight of the object they were on. They worked on a relative basis. If an object was heavier than another with the same amount of chakra, the former would weigh more.

A paper is almost weightless, so it would take a huge amount of chakra to weigh it down. Naruto didn't need the seal to work for long periods of time. A few seconds or mere minutes was enough to make a difference in a fight.

The seals could be pre-charged, but then they had to be custom-made right before missions. Still, the amount of chakra was a lot, so it would take a while for Naruto to figure out a way to recharge.
