Chapter 62 – Finding the Kids
3 days had passed since Padmé and Ani were taken by Vina and handle the kids to Anuska, who was working for Thrawn at the moment, after faking her own death months after she was arrested, after trying to attack Ines in the Temple last year.
Even if they were all still very worry and wanted to take their kids back to their arms, the Skywalkers and the Solos knew they needed to continue to work, even if they didn't fell like it, but so far they didn't know where the kids were taken.
2 days after the kidnapping, Alli and even Bail reveal that their siblings were in a place with red sand walls, and that was not enough to know where this place was, even if Qoli started to do his research right away and didn't stop yet.
Somewhere in the galaxy:
While their parents were very worry, Padmé and Ani were sitting on the floor. They woke up in a small place with read walls and the floor was very sandy, which they knew they were not home for sure.
The door opened and the kids hold each other's arms right away.
"Aww, already awake. Vina did use to much ether on both of you since it made you sleep two days straight. For a moment I thought you were dead, which would be bad." Anuska said putting a tray with food on the floor. "Here, I brought some food for both you, cause I'm sure you are hungry."
"I want my mama and papa," Ani replied looking at Anuska who looked at the boy.
"I'm sorry to break it to you but I don't think you will ever see them again. Both of you."
Ani gasped and looked at his cousin, who glare at Anuska.
"My Papa will come rescue us and you would be in big trouble, you mean lady," Padmé replied.
"That if he knew where you were, which he doesn't. So keep telling you that little girl. Now eat this." and standing up she left the cell, in time for Padmé stood up and kick the tray.
"MY PAPA WILL COME!" she yelled.
"Why did you do that? I'm hungry," Ani said looking at the tray right now and sighed. "I want my mama."
"I want my mama too."
"Do you think she was telling the truth, that we will never see our mamas and papas again?"
"My Papa will come. I know it," Padmé replied right before Anakin and Obi Wan's ghosts appeared.
"Ani! Padmé!" Anakin said sighing in relief.
"Grandpa," the kids said at the same time, smiling happy to see their grandfather and uncle Ben.
"Stay quite," Obi Wan replied and crouch in front of the kids. "Are you two okay?"
The kids nod.
"We want to go home," Ani said to them.
"You will, but you need to be strong. Can you do that? Can you be strong for grandpa?"
"Yeah," the kids said at the same time.
"Good. We just need for you to be more patient. We need to leave cause we need to tell your parents where you are, okay," Obi Wan told them.
"But you will return right?" Padmé asked them.
Anakin and Obi Wan looked at each other. They knew that they should not intervene in cases like this, but deep inside they also knew they couldn't be quite and do nothing.
"Yes we will be here with you, until your papa arrive. We will be gone only for a while okay?" Anakin said smiling when his grand kids nod before they disappeared.
Coruscant:
"Any information from Qoli?" Noa asked.
At that moment they were around the kitchen table, after trying to eat something, even if they couldn't.
"Not yet, but he is amazing and for the past 24 hours he didn't stop." Luke replied. He was lucky to have his students with him that were trying to help them in everything they could.
"And how are you Leia?" Aurea asked her.
"Worry but at least my job is keeping me busy, but when I get home and don't see my sweet blue eye and blond hair boy, my heart breaks," she sighed, while Han wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
"I'm sure there are not much red rocks and sand planets out there," Han said. "So I'm pretty sure that kid will find out soon. If anyone can find it, it is him."
At that same moment, Anakin and Obi Wan ghosts appeared.
"Father," Luke and Leia said at the same time.
"Ben, father," Ines said too, smile sadly when Luke Jr just pointed at the force ghosts and babbled happily.
"Geonosis," they said at the same time.
"What?" Luke asked.
"The kids are in Geonosis," Anakin said.
Right at that moment, Qoli ran into the kitchen.
"Master Luke, I found it. It's Geonosis," he said but stopped when he saw Anakin Skywalker and Obi Wan Kenobi's force ghosts and stopped in his tracks. "Oh, I guess I came late, didn't I?"
"Well you were right too," Leia smiled.
"I told you he would find it," Han said high five Qoli who smiled.
"Yes, very good job Qoli," Obi Wan said smiling at the young Jedi.
"Thank you Master Kenobi."
"But did you see the kids? How are they? Please tell me they are okay?" Ines and Leia asked them right away.
"Relax, they are doing fine. We will stay with them until you rescue them. So you better find a plan quickly," Anakin said before he and Obi Wan disappeared.
"What happened?" Han asked.
"Obi Wan and our father told they will be with them, but we need to hurry with a plan because they can't intervene physically," Leia explained to her husband and to everyone who was not force sensitive.
"But what plan. What are we going to do?" Ines sighed.
"Everything will be okay sweetie," her father told her wrapping her right arm around her shoulders.
"I say we get the Falcon and go. We already know where they are," Han replied with Chewie growling, agreeing with him.
"We can't. They know the Falcon. The moment they see it, who knows what they will do to our kids," Luke replied. "We need to be more careful and way more intelligent this time with a plan."
"Maybe we can help," they heard and looking to the door, they saw Din with Grogu, Boba, Fennec and a new guy they never saw before standing there.
So they already know where the kids are. What plan they will come up and how Din and Boba can help?
