Master Control
Chapter 13
"Do you too have everything?"
"Yes Mom."
"Yeh."
"Izuku, did you bring your PQE id with you?"
"Of course I-"
"Outside the watch?"
Izuku sighed, tapping the omnitrix and manifesting his id for his mother. She did make a point, he couldn't store all his personal belongings inside it. Hopefully he wouldn't be stolen from behind Eijiro and Mina's back at UA.
"Ha, Mom called you out!" Himiko rejoiced in her minor victory.
"Are you wearing your uniform Himiko?" Inko looked skeptical about her outfit. Himiko tugged at her skirt, not looking her mother in the eye.
"Of course, I'm wearing it aren't I?"
It did appear she was wearing the outfit, the grey blazer, red tie, white button up shirt. The only difference between her and Izuku was that she was wearing a black skirt instead of his pants, and he had his classic red shoes on. Inko walked forward, Himiko taking a step back but was blocked by Izuku.
"N-now my s-sweet, d-dear brother. W-we must m-make hast i-if we a-are to."
Inko reached over, plucking a piece of Himiko's jacket and rubbing it between her fingers. It collapsed into purple mud. "Himiko, you can at least where the uniform I bought."
"But I don't need clothes!"
"Himi!" Eri came from around the corner holding Himiko's real uniform. "Are you going to school naked?"
"Yes/no!"
"BWAHAHAHAHA!" Mina tried to keep herself up as she laughed with Eijiro. "Your Mom had to force you to wear clothes to school on the first day?!"
"That's like, the most common scenario for bad dreams! And you want to live that?! HAHAHA!" Eijiro couldn't keep it up, falling down with Mina as they suffocated on hilarity of the story.
"Izukuuuu, they're being mean to me." Himiko shrunk into a child like version of herself, the real clothes remaining their same size loosely hanging off her limbs.
"Himiko, please change back before someone sees us with a nearly naked little girl." Izuku pleaded, nervously looking around to make sure no one was watching.
"Hmph, fine." Himiko stretched back out to fill her outfit, overly stretching some areas as she became a mature woman. "Is this ok?"
"No! I don't need to have this image in my brain on the first day of school!" Izuku ran ahead, leaving the three behind.
"Isn't UA this way?" Mina pointed ahead, left of where Izuku just ran off to.
"He's probably taking a shortcut." Himiko shrugged. Eijiro gaped at her, an incredible secret being referenced so casually. Once the blonde caught his gaze, she froze realizing her slip up.
"But...how would that be faster?"
Farts, bitchin farts she slipped up. How was she going to save this? Can't straight up tell her, can't just not say anything, but she could switch it up to something Mina would snap to.
"Not a shortcut to school." Himiko's smile twisted as her hair coiled in on itself. "But to his lady friend."
'Aaahhhh, gotcha." Mina nodded, smiling in acceptance. "I was hesitant at first but she seems nice and not quirkest."
Eijiro was oddly quiet, not adding onto their conversation with something about manliness or yelling. Himiko gave him the stink eye, slowly turning back into her normal form and poking his eye directly.
"Woah hey! Going for the eyes is not manly."
"Not like it hurt bud." Himiko guided the three to the school, walking along the street with her taking the lead for once. "So, Eijiro, what do you think of Pony?"
"Already going to a first name basis?" Mina poked her, the finger indenting her until Himiko filled it back out.
"I'll be honest, I forgot her last name. Pony is much easier, plus she's American so she probably likes that more."
"True true."
Himiko glanced back to Eijiro, who was again silent. This was the pattern now, Pony would come up in conversation, and he'd go quiet. This was weird, he was weird, and gosh Izuku definitely wouldn't talk about it. He keeps things secret unless it's too late, or he feels he has to.
Why were boys such bitches sometimes?
Izuku teleported when he knew he was out of sight, just close enough to where he could say hi to Pony before going on. Today was the first day, a fresh start. He had a bunch of friends now, maybe he could make more. Glancing at the omnitrix, a blanket of content fell over him. If he kept it safe so far, managing to keep it his greatest secret that hardly anyone knew. No one knew the deeper truth, and he wanted it to stay that way.
He opened up his classroom door, stepping into the place with as much confidence as he could muster. A few kids looked his way, but their stares weren't stares, they were just quick glances. The board had writing left on it, telling everyone who came in there was no assigned seating. Huh, much more lax than he expected of UA. This time, instead of trying to take a seat in the back he grabbed one around the middle.
"Hey." Someone said to his left. It was a boy with black hair and sharp amber eyes. "I'm Natsuki Subaru."
"Oh! I'm Midoriya Izuku, nice to meet you."
"I'm giving you a heads up, I might zone out in class here and there so if I look like I'm..." He gave an empty gaze behind Izuku, then returned to the present. "Like that, just give me a nudge."
"Um, alright."
"Heads up!" *CRASH*
Both boys looked at the newcomer, Izuku lighting up immediately.
A woman walked in wearing a green outfit, black spots on the joints, and wooden pieces over her like an exoskeleton. She had multicolored eyes and short dark hair that contrasted her pale skin, tossing up an eightball and catching it in her hand. As she came into the room she approached the trash can in the corner of the room, a large binder now the only content inside. "Nice, made it."
"You're the trickshot hero, Cueball!"
"Yep! That's me! Cool, I'm not very popular so I'm surprised you know me-"
"You graduated from Shiketsu high and managed to jump to immediate hero work from cashing in favors from heroes you worked with during your internships! You mostly work by being able to gather information from tons of different sources! Your favorite pastime is hanging out at public areas with free games, taking chances, making mistakes, and-"
"Alright gonna stop you right there before you reveal my social security number to the class." She joked, eliciting a chuckle from the rest of the students. Izuku felt slightly embarrassed, shrinking into his seat.
"Sensei! What did you throw in the trash can?" Someone asked.
"Oh, that? It was all your names and personal info along with a custom made curriculum for the year."
It sounded like it was supposed to be a joke, but no one was laughing. After fifteen seconds she finally coughed into her hand. "Right, welcome to the business course. We'll do quick introductions and head over to the entrance ceremony. There we'll get a gist of what is going to happen."
"Um, sensei, was that really our-"
"Alright we have our first volunteer!" Cueball tossed her eightball to the kid, who clumsily caught it before it could knock his head around.
"Name, goal, quirk, fun fact, pretty much like every other school up until now. This is your first impression so make it count. Well, broccoli head's second impression."
The class laughed again, Izuku trying not to be the center of attention again. He really hoped she was wrong, this school being the same as the others was the last thing he wanted.
"Well, I'm Satou Kazuma. I yearn for true gender equality and want to make a bunch of money doing it and live an easy life. My quirk is applied luck, I can increase my chances in anything as long as I can realistically make it happen. Unfortunately I can't use it for others, especially a useless drunk-"
"Let's not bring in our outside troubles just yet." Cueball interrupted before Kazuma vented his emotions. "Alright, toss it to someone else."
Kazuma tossed it to some other kid who looked like a skeleton, a literal skeleton. "Right, my name is Ainz Ooal Gown."
"Is that your real name?" Cueball asked.
"It is my legal name."
"Continue on then."
"My quirk is dead. Most of my emotions and basic human sympathies are dead. I don't know if I can die but I don't want to find out. Because of this I am much more logical and don't desire simple pleasures, only seeking out large scale ambitions to fill myself. I will conquer the business world."
Izuku was scribbling down so many questions right now. The origin, if his quirk was triggered by something, if he was still capable of basic pleasures but didn't care about them, and so many other things that came to his mind. While Izuku could figure out so many different way he could have been a hero, joys of battle or saving someone might not apply to him. Business was a good area to-
"Looks like someone was a much better student than I was." Cueball's notice got even more laughter, attention back on Izuku. "Next!"
"I am Tanya Degurechaff. No, I'm not a child. Just cursed with a powerful quirk that whenever I use it I age down."
Such a downside, but that made Izuku want to see that quirk even more!
"Naofumi Iwatani, shield quirk, you leave me alone I leave you alone."
That shield on his arm looked cool, he wondered how it would hold up to Eijiro's powers.
"Seiya Ryuguin, my quirk is on a need to know basis."
Izuku was going to find out, just a matter of time.
"Rimuru Tempest! My quirk is slime, but I can also absorb stuff and take its shape."
Wait, does he, she? Take on all the properties of whatever he absorbs?! That could be very strong.
"Sora, I can hold someone to a promise if I beat them in a game, and I never lose."
Within someone's ability to keep the promise or can it go even further and make them fly if he so chose?
"Suzuki Ichirou, my quirk lets me know the estimated value of anything I see."
Anything? Izuku glanced at the watch. No, better not try and ask. It would cause trouble for sure.
"Yōji Itami, I just have a translation quirk. Maybe I'll join a good section of the military after this."
Was it as good, or better than the omnitrix's translation? Izuku hasn't really been able to test the limits of it so far, but he hasn't even found one so far.
"Aletta, my quirk is Demon heat. It's really only good for cooking and keeping food warm, but I plan on learning more skills in business so I can run a restaurant one day!"
A quirk that only applies to heating food? No, she said it's only good for food so maybe it can't generate fire or exceed certain temperatures. So many different people with such interesting quirks! It seemed amazing to see how the business course students were here not just to run hero agencies, but be the best in business in general or apply these skills in different ways.
"Look out!"
Izuku glanced up, barely catching the ball before it smacked his face. Oh my All Might he was so glad his reflexes had improved with Himiko's antics, and the training with Eijiro plus Mina. Couldn't forget the times he almost got erased from existence when he first started training Eri's quirk.
"Anytime."
Crap! He was off to a horrible start today. "I-I'm Midoriya Izuku. I have friends in the hero course and, well, I want to help them achieve their goals by building up a good agency for them. Nice to meet everyone." He bowed.
"So, what's your quirk?" Kazuma asked.
"Yeah, you didn't mention it." Subaru pointed out.
"W-well, that's…" Deep breaths, this was a new school that was the best in the country, arguably the world. Quirkism wouldn't be tolerated, shouldn't be, hopefully. "I'm quirkless."
All eyes were on him, stinging his skin and burning through his clothes. It would have been easy if there were whispers, or disdain looks, but it was empty. He couldn't tell what they were thinking because they didn't make any noise or expressed anything clear to him. Izuku glanced over each one, getting no indication what they thought of him. The only one that was different than the rest was Suzuki Ichirou who was fixated on his watch. Everything was going wrong, but he couldn't confirm it because no one did anything. Someone talk, anyone, the silence is hurting his ears.
"O-oh, look at the time!" Cueball pointed at the clock. "We should get to the entrance ceremony."
Dear All Might this day was becoming awful. At least he would see his friends at the ceremony.
"What about the entrance ceremony?" Mina asked.
"That's pointless. We're going to do something productive." Mr. Hobo said to the class.
(Is this really our teacher, or did the janitor bring us here?) Pony aloud, accidentally speaking in english.
"Shut it horse face." The angry blond grumbled, barely audible to those directly around him. Their teacher's eyes narrowed at him, getting him to shut it immediately.
"Keep in mind, if I see no potential, or anything telling me you don't belong here I won't hesitate to expel you on the spot."
That warning sent shivers down the student's backs. It felt like a real threat, but a teacher shouldn't be allowed to expel someone on the first day.
"That doesn't sound fair at all." A brunette commented.
"Life isn't fair, those telling you that's wrong are either preaching or selling something." After getting no replies, he continued. "Right, let's not waste anymore time. Itsuka Kendo."
"Yes sir." The redhead stepped forward.
Hobo teacher tossed a ball to her, who caught it easily. "Step in the circle, throw the ball, don't hold back."
She nodded, reporting to immediately follow through with the instruction.
"Oh, and don't do anything reckless."
Halting for a moment, she took the warning seriously, more so than the others at the passing remark. Gripping the ball tightly, a vibrating pink energy enveloped it. Ituka cocked her arm back, sparks of her energy starting to channel all around her arm.
*BOOM*
With a powerful throw, a small shockwave kicked up wind around the class. It went farther than their eyes could track, going who knows where with a streak of pink fading behind it. A device in their teacher's hand beeped, displaying a number, 809.34 meters.
"So manly." Eijiro whispered in awe.
(Her arm doesn't look so good.) Pony was instantly worried for the girl who was rubbing it. It was inflamed with a couple dark spots along the limb.
(Yeah, it might be bruised.)
Her hair whipped around her head as she turned to the other English speaker. It was a girl with audio jacks hanging from her ears and a passive personage.
(Hey, I'm Jiro Kyoka.)
Jiro shielded her eyes as Pony summoned the power of the sun in her smile.
(You speak English!) She squealed, grabbing Jiro's hands and bouncing up and down. (I'm Pony Tsunotori, Tsunotori Pony I mean. I forget people here introduce themselves last name first first name last. Just call me Pony!)
(Sure. You can call me whatever.)
(This is so awesome! I only have one friend who speaks English but they have a translation quirk so it's not fair. He's in the business course, and he's going to help some of us get started on our hero careers earlier than most!)
Jiro took a moment to translate the words in her head, now realizing why she must be talking so much. If you had so much on your mind that you wanted to get out but never could in time you would take advantage of situations like this.
That angry blond groaned again, sticking his fingers in his ears so he didn't have to listen to the spew of English. Eijiro felt himself looking at the guy, something nagging him about the stranger.
"Bakugo you're up."
Bakguo, Bakugo, if nostalgia was a guy named Requis it was proceeding to enter Eijiro's skull with brute force. The guy in question stepped up, grabbing a new ball from a bucket and gripping it harshley. His mouth took a feral grin, but after shaking his head he seemed more focused. Yet that raw rage was still in him.
*BOOM*
Jiro clutched her ears as the ball rocketed into the sky with massive force, leaving a smoking trail behind it.
705.2 meters.
"Tch. Sensei, let me go again." Bakugo requested with some bite in his voice.
"No, that would waste time. If you're not doing your best the first time then why should I let you go again?"
While another high score was drawing attention, nothing else grabbed Eijiro besides that quirk. The hair, those eyes, the explosions, the rage. Bakugo was back, Izuku's biggest bully, both of them at UA. He should be demanding how the hell he was here, but obviously he was and no way did UA not know about the stain on his record. How was he going to tell Izuku about this? Hey, I found the guy you gave you plenty of scars and burns and nearly killed you a few times. Don't worry though, he's in a different class than you. Yeah right, like that was going to fly.
Hold on, if Izuku could keep secrets, couldn't Eijiro? This did involve Izuku directly though, and a heads up would probably be good for him. Yet Eijiro was sure he could protect Izuku, those explosions did nothing last time and he's gotten way harder than he was years ago. It was the first day, no one wanted to cause trouble, so he could wait for a better time to tell his best friend.
"Pst" Mina whispered to his ear. "You're up."
"Crap, thanks!" He smiled to her, ready to meet the challenge head on. First instinct was to just chuck it as far as he could, or shoot it with one of his crystals, but time and time again Izuku always suggested new creative ways to handle situations with his quirk. Being smart about something was manly.
"Sensei, what counts as the ground?" Eijiro asked, making others whisper around them.
"What you see before you."
"So this." He pointed ahead at all the dirt. "Is the only thing considered the ground?"
"If you're going to do something, do it."
"Alright!" Eijiro took off his shoes, tossing them to the side and dug his heels into the ground. He held the ball directly in front of him, and dropped it.
"What the hell?!"
"Is he trying to get expelled?!"
A red crystal shot out from the ground, spearing the ball. It kept growing, and growing, taking it higher but more importantly farther. Other crystals came from the ground to support the main one as its mass increased. Eijrio pushed as far as he could, but he never had the chance to make large creations such as this. Somewhere he messed up, the crystal slipping off the supports and hitting the ground.
90.5 meters.
"Ah dang, that's hardly as good as the other scores." Rubbing the back of his head, he tried not to feel embarrassed. Hopefully there were tests that would show off his better side.
"No." Their teacher interrupted. "But you did just create a single mass of diamond-like material that is taller than our school. You never were able to push yourself before were you?"
"Uh, not like this no sir." He confessed. While there were sand pits or other things like that he could practice in specialty quirk gyms they never had stuff that could handle this.
"Listen up everyone. This is why we're doing this. The fitness tests you did hindered the growth of your potential. It's my job to find out what you can do and have you do at least five times better than that by the end of the first year. Understood?"
"Yes sir!"
Wow, this guy may not look it, or act like it, but he's a good guy isn't he?
"By the way, can you undo this?" He asked.
"Yes sir!" Eijiro stuck his foot back into the earth, absorbing all of his crystals and leaving holes in the dirt.
"It will have to do, Tsunotori."
Hearing her name the American came to throw the ball, but remembering what Eijiro did she wanted to try something different too. So, plucking off one of her horns she stuck the ball on it, carrying it as far as her quirk allowed before it dropped.
2414.02 meters.
Which was very far.
"Yeah! Go Pony!" Mina cheered. A few others joined it with brief hollers or respectful clapping.
"A marvelous display."
"Truly a score worthy of an international student!"
"I hope those horns help with riding. OUCH!"
Jiro had stabbed the midget with her ear jack, sending a quick vibration through his brain.
"Next."
A few students started to come up with unique ideas of their own to use. A frog person whipping her tongue around like a fishing rod to cast the ball pretty far. One speedster twirling in place, building up momentum until he kicked the ball. Mina followed his example, but added a bit of acid to the ball so it was lighter. Someone even made a functioning drone from their stomach and carried it farther than anyone else had so far. That was until a girl took away its gravity and let it float off into space.
So many cool quirks, everyone trying their best, the pursuit of becoming better than you were yesterday.
This day was awesome!
This day was not awesome!
Izuku had noticed all the looks his classmates kept stealing during the ceremony. While it felt like hours it might have been just a few minutes. Their principal had been talking about how life was similar to the harsh conditions of nature and how school could be compared to a circle of life. It was interesting, until he went on a tangent about random facts concerning eucalyptus trees. Checking the clock on the side wall, Izuku discovered it really had been hours.
"-as the baby koala's can't digest the leaves quite yet, they rely on consuming their mother's-"
How much longer did they have to endure this?
*snore*
In the back of the auditorium, Cueball was sleeping while leaning on a pool stick she summoned. She had abandoned them to escape to dreamland.
"-there have been rumors going around that we have some new teachers. One in particular a very popular hero."
It would be worth the waiting, the glances, all of it if Izuku could see the man in person!
"I can confirm those rumors. They do indeed work here."
Yes!
"So, it's my pleasure." The principal moved to the side. A brighter spotlight filling where he was.
YES!
"To welcome our new staff member-" Nezu held his paw up, UA's ceremonial tune combined with the hero's first movie theme.
YES!
"...our new staff member…" Nezu wiggled his paw still in the air. The music cut out, lights returning to normal. Lunch Rush came from back stage, giving Nezu a note card and quickly retreating. He briefly read it, sticking it in his little vest jacket, and held his hand outwards.
"Our new staff member, Cueball!"
"Huh what?" Said hero was awoken, reprocessing the words she was half awake to hear.
"Oh shit that's me."
She jogged between the students and up to the large stage. Grabbing the edges she hoisted onto the platform with her upper body, no grace, no grand entrance. While Izuku normally would have been happy with pretty much any hero to speak, to suddenly go from the excitement of the number one to…number three hundred twenty six.
"Hey everyone! I'm going to spare you the misery of staying stuck in here any longer. So, in short, I'm going to leave you with some simple instructions. I won't say it will take you far, but it will take you in the right direction. You don't have to be famous to make a difference after all."
For the first time he saw her, Cueball turned serious, taking a quick breath of air before speaking to them. Yet Izuku swore she was looking right at him. "Run like hell because you always need to. Laugh at everything because it's always funny. Never be cruel, and never be cowardly. If you ever are, always make amends."
There was a grimace, a hint of regret in her tone. Izuku didn't recall any particular failure in her career. Yet that was it, he knew of her career but not anything in her own life.
"Now, let's start this year with a smile." Cueball said, getting off the stage and standing in front of her class.
Without further instructions they followed her, no longer questioning that odd behavior demonstrated earlier. The other teachers brought their students to their own classes, to instruct, to teach, to lead them to carve a better future. While in a stupor of thought, Izuku's body went on auto pilot following his teacher until they were back in the class.
"Ok everyone, lunch is provided but you don't have to stick around." Cueball announced, taking a chair and sitting down. She pulled out a paper newspaper, one that Izuku was not aware still existed.
Izuku grabbed his backpack, making sure he had everything. He brought it assuming there was a packet or something he would take home, but Cueball obviously had a very different teaching style.
"Where is it?" Suzuki asked aloud, patting himself over.
"Where's what?" Subaru wondered, a few others listening in.
"My watch, I think I might have dropped it."
Cueball peeked over the pages, watching the scene unfold. "Care to describe it?"
"Well, it's green and black."
Kazuma peeked over to where Izuku was.
"Has a metal ring around the face."
Naofumi cared to pay attention to him.
"Two buttons and knobs on the side."
Tanya scowled over at them.
"And a green hourglass on the face."
Izuku was frozen in place, his hand covering the omnitrix. This, is the worst case scenario. Someone noticed the watch, and is trying to get it. Even worse, it got everyone to pay attention to him.
"Um, are you talking about the one on Midoriya's wrist?" Aletta pointed at Izuku.
Izuku felt like he was going to throw up, already sick of school again.
"What? Hey! Give me my watch!" Suzuki shouted, not letting anyone attempt to ignore what was happening. He stomped up to Izuku, holding out his hand. "I'll forgive you if you give it back now."
"B-but, it's n-not yours."
"Yes it is, give it back."
"I've h-had this f-for years."
"Stop lying, just because you're quirkless doesn't mean I'm going to show obligated pity."
While Izuku didn't appreciate the circumstance, he reluctantly agreed in his heart that he didn't want pity. Yet, he couldn't really believe him since he was trying to lie about the omnitrix. "I d-don't need pity."
"Fine, then I'll just get Sensei to make you give it back. Sensei!"
"Yes?"
"Midoriya has stolen my watch, I request you to have him return my property."
Cueball's shoulders fell, the woman not enjoying this at all. "I swear, there's always one of them every year in the business course."
Quirkless, it always came down to that. No matter if he was right, or justified, or doing his best and not bothering anyone. There was no way he was going to be able to help his friends at this rate, or help take care of his family. Maybe he should find a way to contact the one who gave him the watch, send it to someone who was useful.
"Is the watch Suzuki's?" Cueball shook her eightball, ignoring everyone else. "'My sources say no.' Sorry Suzuki, but it has been spoken."
"Did she seriously ask the ball?" Kazuma flatly asked.
"Completely unnecessary." Ainz agreed.
"Sensei, do we have to be here for this?" Tanya stood up, wanting to leave.
"Oh magic eightball, is Izuku the owner of the watch then?" She shook it a little more aggressively, then waited for it to give a clear answer. "'Yes definitely', there you have it. The watch belongs to Midoriya."
"B-but Sensei!" Suzuki yelled again.
"Stop, you're making a fool of yourself." Yōji came up, putting a hand on Midoriya's shoulder.
Izuku kept spinning his head around, looking at all of them. This was the smallest chance, nearly a complete impossibility. The notion of strangers defending him was beyond his comprehension.
"Midoriya, do you have any proof on you that the watch is yours?" Naofumi asked from his seat in the back.
Proof, what proof would...THANK YOU MOM!
"Y-yes! I have an ID for it!"
"An ID for a watch?"
"Is it really expensive?"
"I was just expecting a photo taken with him wearing it from before today."
Not focusing on the confusion, Izuku pulled out his PQE card and held it out. Tanya grabbed it, looking it over. "Huh, so it was useless in the end."
"What do you mean? You don't get an ID for a card." Suzuki tried to reason, but Cueball came up from behind and read over the card.
"A PQE, permanent quirk effect, caused from someone else using their quirk on the victim or recipient. From changing someone's hair color, to taking away a sense, it's basically a scar not caused from wounding them." Their teacher summarized.
"So he tried to steal a scar?" Kazuma bluntly asked.
"Yep!" Cueball affirmed. "But he's not walking away with nothing!" Going to her desk, she pulled out a paper and scribbled a couple words on it not caring for handwriting. Handing it to Suzuki he stared at it oddly.
"What is this?"
"A note for your parents as to why you're expelled."
"WHAT?! But that isn't some scar! My quirk said it has value, more than anything in the entire world! It doesn't work on scars!"
"Cool, now we know why you tried to do it. Doesn't change the fact you're expelled."
Izuku had a teacher who cared, he had classmates who stood up for him, while he would have loved to be able to see All Might today, he preferred this.
"Damn, that's crazy." Eijiro shoveled another slice of well cooked meat into his mouth. "I can't tell which of us is going to have a crazier class."
"My guess is the one where you're using quirks freely to beat each other up." Himiko added, waving her spoon in the air before going back to her jello.
"I never knew your watch was a PQE! How did I not know this?!" Mina held Izuku's arm, messing with his watch. "At least now I know why it doesn't tell the time."
Izuku just let her do what she would do. A setting to lock the user input to him alone was one of the best things he discovered to help keep the secret.
"Hi friends!" Pony sat down next to Izuku. She had taken the extra time to grab herself one of the steaks with a side of potatoes. (Izuku, I met someone else in class who speaks English!)
"That's great Pony!" Izuku beamed. There was some concern that she might have a harder time in class, but now those were put at ease.
"So, you guys want to do something after this?" Himiko asked.
"I was going to see if All Might was around, but it doesn't look like he's here today." Izuku grumbled, disappointed to not add his favorite's hero signature to his collection.
(Same.) Pony added.
"Ha! Predictable Izuku." Eijiro clapped his buddy's shoulder, smiling in content.
'Alien life form detected in long range active scanning.'
Izuku flinched, the action hidden under Eijiro's clapping. After the incident at the beach, he set the omnitrix to a wider scanning range to try and discover the alien again. He didn't want to be discovered, but he really needed answers. "I-I have to go!"
Izuku bolted up from his seat, grabbing his backpack and running to the bathrooms. He had to get there before they teleported, or flew away, phase shifted, or some other alien thing. There was a chance they might haveWOAH!
He narrowly dodged a sickly blond man coming out of the bathroom who looked like he would have snapped in half if the wind blew the wrong way.
"S-sorry!" Izuku slid past, making his way to one of the stalls.
"Hope that boy is ok. Lunch Rush isn't known for undercooking his meals." Yagi thought aloud.
Izuku is off to find the alien! Who could it be? What do they want? And what will they do once they discover the omnitrix?

XxGargantuaxX:
Yes they are different, and the omnitrix doesn't do well with magic, but that's not what I'm trying to talk about. The omnitrix didn't make Ben into a cloud of nanomachines that duplicate flesh or mechanics, it rendered an alien that was inspired from the chips. If it can do that, and comparing to other aliens it has within, then rendering an alien inspired by the anodites isn't out of the question. It couldn't make mana, but something that acts similar to it. So imagine an energy being that acts like an anodite but has DNA and can't use actual magic, just things that could easily be mistaken for it.

It's been a while since we talked about this point in the story, but it's the same plan that I had before. Maybe it would help, but unfortunately I have noticed that some people post reviews before they even read the after chapter remarks. It might lessen the requests, but I think people are generally going to bug me until it happens.

I don't think the story will get that far so I don't feel pressed to address the issue.

Rowlets and Oshawotts:
Not telling, but it's not anytime soon.
Pedro tp:
I always make sure to double check my Ben ten facts with the wiki before posting.
Blaze1992:
Things happened slightly differently in each zone now that we're straying further and farther from canon, so it's possible that she wasn't even around the zero pointer when it emerged.
