Master Control

Chapter 16

"What are the results?" Nighteye asked impatiently.

Recovery Girl restrained smacking the idiots in the room with her. Having teenagers use lethal force against each other to purposely make one of them bleed for the ones who organized this. The only thing keeping her from doing just that was what she saw printed on the sheet before her.

"Well, out of the mess I'm seeing right now I can certainly say he doesn't have a quirk factor." She said, eyeing the reaction of the four others in the room.

Toshinori, Naomasa, Mirai, Torino and Principal Nezu were in her specialized nursing room that held equipment that made hospitals jealous.

"How is that possible?" Toshinori asked the question for the rest of them.

"It might have to do with the fact that only half of each cell is carbon based." She showed them a microscopic image of one of Kirishima's cells, a crystalline outer shell holding the micro organs inside it.

Naomasa examined the image, having had experience with forensics and knowing enough biology. "It's like the cell walls are made of diamond."

"And you're sure this isn't just a new form of mutation quirk?" Mirai asked, deep in thought about the developments.

"Ever since quirks emerged we've noticed a layer along the chromosomes." Chiyo begrudgingly began. She hated it when people doubted her expertise. "It changes drastically from person to person. That's why a child could end up with a completely different quirk than their parent's. This boy on the other hand, doesn't have such layer. His chromosomes only share around fifty percent likeness to a human at best."

"That's incredibly drastic." Nezu pointed out, very intrigued. "After all, it's only a one point 2 percent difference between a human and a chimp."

"Well he doesn't look like a chimp, so it must have been on purpose." Torino brought up.

"What could even cause that?" Toshinori asked the ones more knowledgeable than he.

"I don't know." Chiyo felt a headache coming. "I don't even think a PQE could work this deep."

"Were any of his other victims like this?" Mirai interrupted.

"None." Naomasa recalled all the reports he had sorted through. "Clear case of quirk transfer, either given, or most times taken. Nothing about rearranging the building blocks of life."

"This also doesn't match any of his previous plans. Otherwise he would keep these kids far from us." Torino mentioned, hoping he was right. He hated it when kids got involved.

"So it's very possible this doesn't even concern All for One." Nezu pointed out. "He is already presumed dead, has shown how his quirk operates, and wouldn't have any motive to grant anyone not serving him more powerful abilities."

"But how come it's happening around Midoriya?" Nighteye brought the subject up. "If these weren't connected events then they wouldn't revolve around one person. Clearly he is involved."

"If he is it's not by choice." Naomasa narrowed his eyes at the other man. "He would never do anything that would remotely be considered ill intent."

"You're too close to the case." Nighteye reasoned. "You're practically family to them already."

"Ha!" The old man laughed at the detective. "Told ya!"

"If Midoriya is innocent." Toshinori eyed everyone in the room. "Then why does he have to sneak out of the school?"

"He's quirkless, experienced bullying all his life, and even an incident on the first day here." Naomasa argued, standing up to the heroes.

"No quirkless boy has the skills or abilities to go in and out of arguably the most secure public place in Japan." Nighteye stepped up to the detective, glaring down on him.

"He hardly seems like a threat to our security." Torino jabbed the hero in the chest. "If you're so worried about him why don't you just use your quirk on him? He probably wouldn't mind seeing how he's such a fanboy. Just get ready to give him an autograph."

"You know we can't do that. None of us could act directly to him if there is someone watching his movements."

"I have an idea." All Might thought of a certain girl the boy's age. One that wasn't associated with him to anyone's knowledge besides those in this room. "We just need a good excuse for Midoriya to be further involved with a class."

"So, looks like some of you have a decent grasp on the flow of money and how to make it on a larger scale than a lemonade stand." Cueball held up the stack of papers, passing them back to the students one by one.

"But we could do better, so we're going to be spending a little more time on basic finances and business management. I wanted to do some more hands on practice but we don't even have a fraction of the hero or support course's budget." The hero grumbled, muttering on and on about how one class is given money to make hundred foot robots while the other can demolish cities on the daily.

Izuku partially agreed, but he didn't see the need for them to have all that money. They were the business course, their goal was to make money not simply have money to spend how they like. It was just more incentive to try harder and learn better ways to manage money. If they start with nothing, then there's nothing to lose while gaining valuable experience. So much profit with hardly any loss.

"Midoriya?" Cueball waved her hand in front of his eyes.

"Y-yes!"

"Good!" She put another piece of paper on his desk with a list of names. Izuku held the list up, seeing a class schedule associated with it. "Um…"

"I knew you would like the extra credit!" Cueball slapped a hand on the boy's shoulder with a big smile.

"Seriously, you've got a huge grasp on all the material I've slipped into your homework. This is probably the best way to spend your time during our business classes."

"Um, I'm not sure I-"

"I might have also peeked at the notebook you have of your friends and your plan to get their agency started up."

"What!"

"Good stuff, really detailed. I considered throwing your friends on the list but typically you'd only have a week or two to get to know the client."

Out of all the times to zone out in class it was when he was given an exclusive assignment in front of everyone. He didn't even know what he was supposed to do! Ok, she liked what he did in his notebooks for the others right? Then he just needed to spend class time analyzing what kind of heroes these students wanted/could be, make a plan to get them to stand out in the festival, optimize their quirk use, and find out what heroes would be best for them to intern with. That sounded like the bare minimum to pass this.

Flipping the page over, he sighed in relief. It was a basic layout for him to make his notes with all the requirements listed. It was his friends' class luckily, so he shouldn't feel too uncomfortable there.

THAT'S RIGHT! ALL MIGHT TAUGHT THEIR CLASS!

He couldn't wait to get started!

"Midoriya." Cueball smirked, noticing the boy vibrating in place. "You can head over right now if you want."

"I will! Thank you!" He bowed deeply to his teacher, eternally grateful for the opportunity.

Cueball waved him off as he ran to go to the erasure hero's class. Not sure why the Principal suggested this assignment for anyone running fast in the business course. It was a perfect fit for Midoriya though, and by the looks of it he was happy to participate.

Aizawa wanted to strangle a certain muscle head. He reviewed the footage of the battle trial yesterday, and it was a disaster. Who exactly thought it was a good idea to let someone without any teaching degree or experience pin a bunch of untrained super powered teenagers against one another. It was a miracle there were no deaths, or broken bones, or even a sprain. They just shook each other up a little despite throwing hits with the power of tanks behind them.

His sleep was going to suffer, but for now he was going to cover those classes until All Might completed the thirty hour safety training that he was supposed to do before starting his job here.

"Bakugo."

"Yeah?"

"No more using those gauntlets indoors or at another living being until I see you understand how much of a danger they really are."

The teen growled, leaning further into his seat.

"Kirishima."

"Yes!"

"Good job making sure no one dies, but remember you aren't invincible. You should hit them before they hit you."

"Got it sir!"

"Kendo."

"Yes."

"You're still getting injured while using stronger applications of your quirk. Unless it's a life and death scenario don't hurt yourself to the point you'd have to go to Recovery Girl. Use your head, your quirk's strength isn't just the power it's the versatility you can use it."

"Yes sir."

"Jiro."

"Yes."

"You acted smart in training, but faking an injury in front of a real villain is an easy way to die. Don't do it again."

"Yes sir."

"Todoroki."

"..."

"Todoroki." Aizawa called out slightly louder, looking up from his notes.

The scarred boy was completely unfocused, his hair unkempt. He doubted that it was from the results of the match yesterday, he won quickly without much effort. Anyone with an ounce of intelligence could tell his family was hardly functional. Eraserhead was still in the progress of finding good enough evidence to get the number two hero to let his kids out from under his thumb.

Until then, the least he could do was pay attention in class. Aizawa grabbed a piece of chalk and threw it at the boy.

*Clonk*

There, now he was awake. "Besides working on being observant, you did decent for your first time. Though that move wouldn't work if there were any hostages or hiding civilians. Be sure that only villains are present before freezing everything."

Most of the class giggled at the expense of Todoroki, his puzzled expression only increasing their reaction.

"Today we're going to be working on sweeping buildings, reconnaissance, and finding new ways to use your quirks to get as much possible information on the villain's hideout before you infiltrate it. All Might should have covered that yesterday but he didn't so now we're going to do it."

The classroom door slid open, revealing one Izuku Midoriya.

Aizawa saw a flood of reactions run through his class. Half of them of course were curious in the newcomer, but a few reacted with other emotions. Ashido reacted well, waving to the boy. Tsunotori became excited. Todoroki appeared conflicted, probably facing new emotions he wasn't experienced with. Kirishima kept glancing back and forth between him and Bakugo. Lastly, Bakugo froze for a moment only to quickly do his best to hide his face by looking out the window.

There was more happening here than he knew of, and for an underground hero that was bad. He didn't recognize this student so they weren't in the hero course, but they better have a good reason for interrupting his class.

"Excuse me sir. I was told to come here for this period." The boy walked up, showing a sheet to Aizawa.

Cueball, less predictable than Ms. Joke and even more chaotic. Her signature resting at the bottom of the paper. This was interesting, normally only third year students started working with others to start setting up plans for post graduation. The first idea that came to his head was to kick the distraction out so he could teach, yet he seemed involved with a lot of the students here whether he knew it or not. If he did do that, Cueball would surely start complaining and that was a bigger headache to deal with.

"Fine, you can observe them and discuss business when they're not busy. Try not to slow anyone down."

"R-right sir!"

"Excuse me." Kaminari raised his hand. "But, what's going on?"

"This is a student from the business course. He'll be working with a handful of you to figure out how you can get your hero career started more easily and what kind of hero you'll be. It's not something we usually do with first years but I assume he's ahead of his class and is getting started early. If you have any complaints take them to his teacher because I don't want to hear them and I bet he doesn't too."

"I'm open to criticism." Midoriya said to them, waving back to calm the frantic movements of his friends most likely trying to get his attention. "I'm Izuku Midoriya, it's my pleasure to work with some of you. If anyone else wants help getting started with figuring out how to get ahead in your career feel free to talk to me."

"But don't overwhelm him." Aizawa said sternly. "He's just one person. Third years have one or two business course students helping one hero student. Midoriya is going to be working with five of you by himself. Don't make his life harder than his teacher is already making it."

"Pst." Jiro whispered over to Pony. "Is this the guy you were talking about?"

Pony nodded, smiling back to her friend.

"Everyone get in costume and meet me and ground Beta. Midoriya, you don't have to be in uniform since it can get dusty. Wear whatever you don't mind the risk of getting dirty."

"Right!"

Midoriya put his hands in his green jacket pockets, waiting for the others. He had his notebooks under his arm, two he used to help out his friends. This time, he got the chance to observe the hero class in person! All those quirks, costumes, strategies, soon to be right in front of him! Too bad All Might wasn't here, he really wanted an autograph to add to his vast collection of merchandise.

He stood next to the sleep deprived hero, waiting for the hero students to come out. Eraserhead, it had to be him. His friends didn't mention a time he used his quirk, but from the roster of teachers working at the school with previous mentions from past students on the internet it wasn't hard to work out.

"Excuse me." Izuku held out his hero notebook that had various signatures in it. "Would you mind signing this?"

"Sure." Aizawa lazily signed the blank spot, seeing his hero name already on the page along with various in depth notes. One of them needing correction immediately. "I'm not married to Ms. Joke by the way."

"Really?! But whenever-"

"I'm well aware of what she keeps telling everyone else. It's her way of getting on my nerves."

Izuku took the notebook back, making the correction and adding another five notes onto it. It was a topic that her fans loved to discuss, her strategy to keep her popularity and rank by sparking something for people to investigate about her but not finding any hard evidence duetoEraserhead'sundergroundstatusand-

(Izuku!) Pony ran up, still putting on parts of her costume. (How come you didn't tell me you'd be a part of our class?!)

Aizawa watched the two curiously from the corner of his eye. She must have rushed getting dressed, just to have a few extra minutes with Midoriya. Cute, but it was impressive for Midoriya to spend less than two minutes getting changed.

(I just found out about it in class) Izuku replied in English to everyone. Eijiro had pointed it out after the...lunch incident. How everyone was hearing Japanese from him when talking to Pony as she was hearing English. After some brief practice feeling out how the omnitrix translated things for him, he found a way to let only one language at a time come from him. Thankfully no one else seemed to notice it, so no harm done.

(Are you going to be working with us?) Anytime she could spend around him she wanted to take advantage of.

(Sorry, I couldn't work with friends for this. But I can still help you, Eijiro, and Mina in my free time.)

(And Himiko one day?)

(She still doesn't want to be a hero.)

(Dang it! She was so cool yesterday! Scary but cool! With her quirk she would make an awesome hero!)

(I doubt Himiko would follow half the rules the hero commission has.)

Aizawa listened in, already knowing English from a certain loudmouth in his hardly existent social life. It was amusing, hearing how those two thought most heroes followed the rules so much. The naivety of youth.

The other students finally gathered together so they could get on with their training for the day.

"We'll split the exercise into four teams of five. Right after I explain the rules whoever is assigned to Midoriya will talk with him in the back about the basics." The hero then turned to the young boy. "I trust you know what you're doing?"

"Izubro definitely knows what he's doing!" Kirishima grabbed his friend, jostling the boy. "When did you get that jacket bro? It's nice."

"I'll tell you later."

"Pay attention, because I'm only going to explain once and you will be graded on performance."

Mina wanted to bother Izuku about what was going on today, and about what happened at lunch yesterday. She had texted Himiko the night before but she wanted to hear the green haired boy's view point. Right now she was off to the side talking with the new friends she had made in class that weren't with Izuku.

Midoriya gathered in the corner of the class with the five on his list. Kyoka Jiro, Denki Kaminari, Ochaco Uraraka, Kendo Itsuka, and Reiko Yanagi. He opened up a fresh page for everyone, just their name and a quick rough draft sketch of them in their hero attire.

"Nice to meet you everyone. I don't want to keep you guys away from watching your classmates so I'll try and be quick." Izuku said to the five.

"Don't worry." Kaminari gave him a smirk. "You just ask us whatever you want."

"Ok, what kind of hero do you want to be?" Izuku held his pencil against the paper, ready to write down his response.

The blond faltered immediately. "Um, a licensed one?"

Jiro sighed at the stupidity radiating from him, luckily the others had some idea.

"I'm hoping to make it big." Kendo admitted. "I'm shooting for the top ten, mostly a front liner hero making sure to quickly take down any villains while protecting those behind me."

"Ah!" Izuku's mind made the connection, pointing his pencil at her. "Similar to how you faced Muscular?"

"Y-you know about that?" Kendo asked, already embarrassed about being called out.

"You were so cool running out there! Those walls you made with your quirk were impressive protecting the Water Hose duo! When All Might showed up, what did he say to you? Did you manage to talk with him afterwards?" Izuku kept asking question after question, his inner fanboy already taking over.

"Um, that's not really important to your assignment is it?"

"Oh, sorry. I'm just a big fan of All Might." Izuku admitted. "I"ve been hoping to get his autograph for a while hearing he was teaching here but I haven't seen him."

"Hold on." Ochaco looked to Kendo. "You already faced a villain?!"

"Maybe we should get back on track." Jiro suggested.

"Sorry." Ochaco apologized, turning back to Izuku. "I want to be a rescue hero, my quirk lets me negate the gravity of whatever I touch so I could help out with big piles of rubble and help civilians out of fallen buildings and stuff."

"That's an amazing quirk!" Izuku wrote everything down. "Rescue would be a great area for you if you can lift more than a ton at a time. It's great that you already have a theme, it's really marketable and memorable so it's easy for people to recognize you. With zero gravity you could also fly yourself around and spot anyone that's lost, stuck in a higher place, you've got a lot of potential."

"Oh, um." Ochaco blushed at all the praise. "Thanks."

"If you two are done flirting I have a few questions." Yanagi interrupted.

"F-flirting?!" Ochaco sputtered, Izuku turning his attention to the notebook instead of listening to Yanagi.

"What about you two?" Izuku now with less emotion on his face asked Jiro and the silver haired girl.

"Well." Jiro held up her jacks. "I feel I'm more support, I can locate people by sticking my jacks into stuff and listening to their vibrations. I can also stun or announce loud things by using the speakers in my boots."

"Are you by chance a singer?" Izuku asked.

"Uh, I guess. Why?"

"Your costume seems punk rock style, if you sing or play anything you could incorporate that into your persona and make music alongside hero work. It would boosts both sides of work and get you popular pretty fast. Especially if you release a new song while facing off against a villain. It's only been done once in America and it was talked about for a decade at least."

"Huh." Jiro pondered on that. She thought she would have to pick one or the other. Never did she consider that doing both would make her chances of success skyrocket. "Sounds good, just give me some time to think about it."

"Just be sure to pick a style two weeks before the sports festival. That way we know what to show the audience as your unofficial debut."

"Wait, don't we debut as heroes once we get our own agency?" Kaminari asked.

"Your first impression to the world is competing on live television." Izuku replied. "That's when heroes will decide if you're worth taking into their own agencies for internships, workstudies, and potential sidekicks after school. It's rare for a graduate to skip being a hero's sidekick and start up an agency. Only about twenty heroes out of three hundred are successful in that."

"Wow." Ochaco stood in awe at the boy. "You're really good at this aren't you?"

Izuku scratched the back of his head, unsure on how to respond to all these strangers giving him a chance. He hoped when they found out about his quirkless status they were still kind. "Thanks."

Turning to the quiet girl dressed in white, Izuku turned to a new page to write down whatever she said. When Yanagi noticed his attention on her she showed off her quirk by lifting herself.

"I prefer if I don't get a lot of attention, so stealth is something I want to get into. My quirk lets me control five objects that weigh the same as my body weight or less. Anything more and I start feeling heavy and slow."

"I see, the ghost theme works with your focus on stealth. The material you're wearing though doesn't make it any easier."

"How so?"

"White is probably the worst color you could wear for stealth unless you're outside in the snow."

Yanagi tugged at the fabric she was wearing, now seeing the huge design flaw in her outfit.

"You could get the support department to make you an electrochromic grp based costume that can change colors to match your surroundings." Izuku suggested. "It's the closest thing we have to non quirk generated invisibility."

"I'll put in a request."

"So." The invisible girl got Mina's attention. "Do you know him?"

"Izuku? Yeah we've been friends since middle school."

"Are you two." The rich tall barely decent girl pointed between Mina and him, a blush coming on her face. "Involved with one another?"

"No no, he's like a little brother to me." Mina waved Momo off.

"Of course not!" Toru agreed with Mina. "Otherwise she would be mad about Uraraka talking it up to Midoriya right now!" She gushed, looking at the scene.

The three girls looked to see Ochaco asking Izuku question after question, the boy replying quickly and enthusiastically.

"They seem to be getting along surprisingly well for having just met." Momo noted.

Mina smiled, seeing Izuku making more friends. Even if he had met some not so nice people *cough* Todoroki *cough* he was getting along with plenty more people. Maybe, just maybe, the world was getting a little better for the quirkless population. She wished it had happened sooner.

"They look so cute together!" Toru squealed. "Don't you two see it too?"

"B-but, they just met!" Momo retorted.

"They're made for each other!" The invisible girl argued.

Mina wasn't too sure about that, her feelings mixed on the matter. It was obvious Pony was starting to get it bad for Izuku, seeing the girl constantly look his way and frowning each time Ochaco got closer to the boy. Yet this might be a good first step for Izuku to finally get over his last disaster with romance. Plus, Mina loved hooking people up, but with Izuku it was best to just make sure another girl didn't try to use him.

"I see it, but we shouldn't push anything." Mina tried to calm the invisible girl down.

"It is remarkably similar to a book I'm reading." Momo admitted.

"Oooh, I hate waiting!" Toru whined to them. "I'm at least going to see how Uraraka feels about him."

"Alright everyone, that's the last group." Aizawa interrupted them. "We'll review tomorrow, get changed and head to class for your next period."

The three girls started to flow with the traffic, until Toru tugged them back and pointed at Ochaco talking to Izuku.

"Would it be alright if we talked more at lunch? I think you could really help me with something."

"Sure." Izuku said happily. If there was anything he loved to do, it was helping people.

Toru was bouncing in place, suppressing a squeal. "Look at how fast they're moving!"

Momo watched them with sparkles in her eyes, absorbed in the romance she perceived in front of her. Mina felt her gut twist, remembering how a single girl managed to wreck his emotions. She would have to be on extra high alert.

Izuku sat across from Ochaco at the cafeteria table, three notebooks in front of him with all sorts of numbers on it. He expected Himiko, Pony, or one of his friends to come over by now but they must have seen him in work mode and left him alone. "You want to be a hero for money?"

"Yeah.." Ochaco sagged. "My parents own a construction company, but we've never had a lot of money. They work really hard everyday just to have a roof over their head. I wanted to use my quirk to make things easier for them, because...well…"

Izuku listened attentively, Uraraka clearly opening up about something. He wanted to be respectful to her as much as he could. After she took a few seconds, she whispered over to him.

"It's because my parents are quirkless. Hardly anyone wants to do business with them because of it. Even if money's tight they supported me as much as they could so I could fulfill my dreams of being a hero. So I want to make a lot of money for them to retire somewhere nice, like Hawaii." Ochaco admitted, naturally expecting some backlash after her revelation.

Izuku said nothing, closing his notebooks and looking right at her. "I understand."

Ochaco nodded, getting the message. He closed up his notebooks, so he wasn't planning on helping her. "Sorry for bothering you with this." She got up to leave, but Izuku grabbed her hand.

"No, not like that!" Izuku assured her. "I'm quirkless too."

Ochaco's eyes widened at his words. The smart boy that took on so much work was quirkless?! "Oh."

"You want to make as much money as you can for your parents right?" Izuku asked.

"Yeah." Ochaco nodded.

"Then let me help." Izuku flipped open one of his notebooks, already scribbling inside. "We might even be able to help her parents get more work. If you want to help in natural disaster and villain fight aftermath, then once you're assigned to a clean up area and working with local property owners you can either suggest or do a work partnership to have your parents in charge of reconstruction. Once they get enough reputation they could get a contract with either the city you're stationed at or the hero commission disaster relief branch."

His mumbling was interrupted by a hug.

"Midoriya, this means a lot. Thank you."

Joy ran through Izuku, the same feeling he got from helping Esta. This just reaffirmed this was the right path for him, to help people his own way. Neither noticed the looks they got from a few notable students. "But I don't recommend Hawaii as a retirement spot. Too dangerous."

"Why?"

"Trust me on this."

*Squeeeeaal* Toru couldn't help it. That's it, she couldn't wait anymore! She had to get these two together as soon as possible! As the days went by, the perfect plan began to piece together. Meanwhile Ochaco seemed to get closer and closer to Izuku, the two spending more time together at lunch and even after school! No matter how much the invisible girl bugged Uraraka about it she never admitted to liking the greenet. Fine, she was going to take matters into her own hands!

"What's this about?" Ochaco asked Toru, the two of them hiding in the back of the shoe lockers.

"Well, we both know you have a secret crush on Midoriya right?"

"WHAT?!"

"Shhhhh! Anyways I'm doing you a favor since you're too shy to admit it."

"Hagakure, I'm-"

"Shh! Here he comes!" Toru's sleeve pointed to Midoriya, walking to his locker with Eijiro beside him.

"Bro, are you sure there aren't any other weaknesses I might have? Being blasted by those speakers was not fun."

"That's your main one, you should have a higher durability to everything else but don't push it. Oh, you also are most likely immune to lasers."

"Seriously?!"

Ochaco wanted to bug Toru about what she had planned, but the invisible girl was holding a hand over her mouth. They watched as Izuku opened up his locker, checking his shoes out of habit. Ochaco knew the ugly truth behind the action, being quirkless was rough. He looked surprised when he found something, and pulled out a letter from his shoe with a heart on it.

No, no way! Ochaco pulled down Toru's hand, hissing at her. "Did you write a love letter to him?!"

"Not for me!" Toru whispered back in a panic. "For you! I forged a letter from you to him."

"Why?!"

"I'm tired of waiting for you to get together!"

Ochaco never thought about if she had any deeper feelings for Izuku. Sure, she wouldn't mind trying something with him but not like this! Love was one of the last things on her mind. If he said yes, ok, she would see where it went. If not, well, they were already good friends.

Izuku just stared at the letter, completely shocked at its existence. Eijiro looked over, frowning immediately once he saw it. Without opening it, Izuku walked over to a nearby trash can and tossed the letter in the bin.

"Let's go Eijiro." He said in an unusually cold tone.

"Right."

That...kind of hurt to be honest. Seeing Izuku throw away any feelings Ochaco wasn't even sure she had for him. Once the two were gone Toru stomped her foot on the ground.

"Geez! That was so rude of him!"

Toru sat with her friends in class before it began, folding her arms and stirring in her grumpiness. Mina was quick to spot the attitude change, approaching her with Momo right next to her. Off to the side Ochaco seemed thoughtful in a not happy way.

"What's up?" Mina asked the two girls.

"You're never going to believe what Midoriya did!" Toru shouted, throwing her arms in the air.

Mina immediately began to worry for the wellbeing of her quirkless friend. "What happened?"

"It's fine Hagakure." Ochaco tried to calm her down.

"It's not!" Toru denied. "So this morning, because Uraraka can't admit to having a crush on Midoriya, I tried to help them out."

Oh no.

"So I wrote a letter for Uraraka to Midoriya, a classic."

"Are they really that common?" Momo asked. "I've never personally seen one."

"They are! So, I snuck it in his locker, and guess what he did when he found it."

*SLAM* Mina threw her hands on Toru's desk, doing her best not to lash out. "You put a love letter in his locker?!"

Everyone else who had arrived to class so far were now listening. Pony herself frowned hearing the news.

"Um, yeah." Toru said. "But that's not the part you should be upset about! It's what Midoriya did with it!"

*slam* Eijiro slid the door open harshly, glaring at Uraraka. The girl flinched under his gaze.

"What the hell are you trying to pull here?!" He nearly screamed at her.

Ochaco shook her head, waving her hands in front of her. "I didn't do anything!"

"Why are you guys so upset about Midoriya getting a love letter?" Kaminari asked.

"I want to know too." Pony said.

"Someone already got a love letter?!" Mineta pulled at his face, seething at how lucky some non hero student was.

Mina took in a deep breath, doing her best not to slap the idiocracy out of her invisible friend. "In middle school, there was this girl.."

"Midoriya!" Ochaco shouted to the boy, jogging up to his spot in the lunchroom.

He got up, walking away from his unfinished meal.

"Midoriya please wait!" Ochaco grabbed his arm, but he ripped it out of her grasp.

"I thought we were friends." Izuku whispered.

"We are, it was just some stupid-"

Izuku held his hand up to silence her, still not turning around to face the girl. "I'll still help you with the assignment, but that's it. Please, just….leave me alone."

Leaving her with those words, Izuku left her, exiting the cafeteria to go somewhere other than there. Ochaco felt like crying, already she lost a good friend who was so eager to help her and her parents. It wasn't his fault, it wasn't her fault either, it was just unfortunate circumstances. She wasn't sure how she could fix this, or if she even could.

"Hey." Mina came up from behind her, wrapping her arms around the girl. "He's just...hurt. Please forgive him."

"I never blamed him." Ochaco spoke into her shoulder. "Will you talk to him for me?"

"I'll try." Mina replied, running her hand through Ochaco's hair. "But I don't know if he's willing to talk about it, about any kind of romance."

Pony watched from her spot on the table, turning back to her sandwich. She should have intervened, defended Ochaco and tried to help Izuku understand the mistake. But then he might have stopped talking to her, and that would crush her. Guilt kept building up more and more as her heart kept rejoicing that Izuku had one less girl in his life. How selfish was that?

Alarms blared all over the school, interrupting their lunchtime.

"SECURITY BREACH!"

"This can't be a coincidence." Mirai said to the rest of them. "That boy is clearly up to something."

"We still don't have any proof that he's involved." Naomasa interjected. "This time we could even track where he was the whole time with the cameras."

"Who else could slip by the security system?"

Nezu watched the two bicker back and forth about Midoriya. How entertaining it was to watch them try and destroy each other's arguments. He turned to All Might, who was silently sitting while scrolling through his phone.

"What did your successor find out?" He asked the skinny deflated man.

"I think we should explain at least some of our suspicions to her." Toshinori replied.

"The less she knows the better." Nezu sipped at his tea. "Midoriya is clever, and if Kendo herself becomes more suspicious or cautious around him he will notice."

The number one hero sighed, showing the principal the texts. "He seems to understand heroics and how it works very well, and had admitted to assuming she had some conversation with me the day I met her. I'm beginning to think Midoriya knows something about One for All."

"Well I also suspected you took special interest in Kendo after the Muscular incident." Nezu sat his tea down. "Of course, I knew you were already looking for a successor beforehand. The Detective is right though, suspicion is all we have. Until solid evidence comes to light that there is clearly something more to Midoriya we cannot openly question him."

The waiting game is all they had, but Nezu felt that this time something drastic would occur if they didn't take action soon.

Toru did a stupid. So, what's next for the drama of Izuku's life? More aliens? Drama? Failed romance? His inability to share his secrets?

How about USJ, let's do that next chapter with Izuku along for the ride. How will the quirkless wielder of the omnitrix help his classmates without even knowing the full power of the watch?!

Any grammar errors please point it out

Also, for that XLR8 thing. I finally found what you guys were saying about the helmet and faceplate being organic. Super weird but ok. I also found sources saying the opposite, not including reboot. So to preserve my insanity of two different sources for the show saying opposite things I'm just going to not think about it and not try writing about that particular controversial topic anymore.

Credit for helping me make this story goes to Animeguy1101

Let me know what you think about it and if you want to see more!

XxGargantuaxX:

I see where you found that info, but there's too much contradiction around that topic that I'm finding so I'm not touching it anymore. Eijiro is still half human, so he doesn't have the durability of a prime Petrosapien. He does however have the prime DNA of a hybrid between the two so he can still take some good hits. As for aliens I'm including, any alien that Ben has transformed into will eventually be seen in this story.

ProjectIceman:

Shoto has awakened a new fetish from Himiko's threats.

arroyokenneth93:

That would be pretty cool! Although he would need to actually open up about his secrets and get some others to help out some aliens. Currently there's nothing like the plumbers operating on Izuku's Earth.

dsgundam00:

Well luckily we are about to start up that first one!

Shitpostpro:

Shoto got a serious talking to by his father, but now is dealing with the repercussions of knowing that Himiko hates him. Thanks for the support!

SonicMax:

Glad that I'm writing the characters to be interesting enough for you to care!

AI-Omicron:

All of the secret club members of One for All are sharing info with one another about Midoriya, except for Kendo. So question is who is going to find out about aliens first.

BrokenLifeCycle:

That was her goal, so if she made you feel uncomfortable then imagine how she expected Shoto to feel. Obviously she didn't plan on him getting turned on from that but still.

Blaze1992:

Totally miscommunication, Shoto misunderstood things and acted on his feelings. Sound like a certain blond girl?

theznut:

You could just comment that on the other story, but ok. As you can see I have four stories I'm working on and two to three different jobs. I'll update when I can.

helrio uzugaku:

Many have made several demands for him to transform already, but I'm saving it for a better moment. We all know once he figures it out he will be incredibly OP, able to pick the perfect alien for the job, not time out, and switch to whatever one he wants instantly.

Then this story will turn into almost every other Izuku with an omnitrix fanfic. I'll do my best to have him still use the omnitrix in unique ways that isn't turning into an alien and clobberin someone once he discovers it. I guarantee though, his transformation will be special. Not Alien X special, but special.

Mashot Tito:

If I answered any of those questions I would just be spoiling the story. Those events will happen, but I'm not telling you when or how they happen.

Death Fury:

Luckily for you that update is coming much sooner than you probably thought.
