Master Control
Chapter 17
Tossing and turning in his bed, Izuku kept thinking about school earlier today. He should have known it wouldn't have been over, the teasing, the bullying. UA was good about enforcing their policies. Not discriminating against the powerful and the weak. Unfortunately it didn't stop them, the first day someone tried to steal the omnitrix, then one of the strongest members of class One A demanded him to leave, now he had to deal with another girl messing with him.
Tomo, everytime he thought of Ochaco now he could just see her face. He wasn't trying to hurt anyone, he wasn't trying to play with them, he wanted to help them! So why couldn't they let him?
"Incoming transmission."
AHFSFHAN-WHAT?!
Izuku shot his head up from his pillow, eyeing the omnitrix as he could hear static coming from it.
"Kev….we….signa…."
It was a girl's voice, cutting in and out. As he was wrapping his head around the fact that the omnitrix served as a communicator he tried to figure out if this was an open or closed channel.
"Omnitrix, where is the signal coming from?"
"Earth."
...what?
"Some...trying...boost." A rougher male voice came from it, sounding angry at something.
"Where on Earth?!" Izuku asked again. It pulled up a hologram of the globe, zooming into America until a blinking dot was near a small town labeled. "Bellwood?"
"Is it working now?" Izuku leaned back, surprised at the voice. It sounded a lot like the omnitrix's, except less computerized and...real.
"Hello?" He asked hesitantly.
"Someone must have already found the omnitrix." The girl on the other side reasoned.
"Great, now we have another problem on top of an impending invasion." That rough sounding guy said.
INVASION?!
"How long will the signal last?" Guy that sounded like the omnitrix asked.
None of them directly responded to Izuku. Were they ignoring him?
"Um, who are you guys?" He tried asking again.'
"Hey kid, we're asking the questions here!" The rougher one stated.
Rude, he wasn't that young. They actually sounded around his age, just American. That's it, if they wanted to be like that then he was just going to talk to them in person.
"Teleport me to the signal's location." Izuku commanded while switching his pajamas to his new favorite outfit.
In a brief sphere of light, Izuku found himself outside an abandoned town right next to some worn down shed. He shielded his eyes from the sun, realizing that where it was night for him it was day here. This was a very old place, probably built before the twenty first century. What concerned him though was how there was no one around for miles and miles. The only sign that he could read said "Los Soledad."
"Did he teleport? I don't see him." Not omnitrix voice said.
"He's probably just messing with us, ignore him." Rude guy said.
"Who are you people?!" Izuku yelled at his watch. He already was having a stressful time at school, more alien stuff that wasn't getting anywhere was not something he wanted to add to it.
"One moment." A voice came from beside him.
"Was that-"
A hand clicked a button on the side of his watch, ending the chat. Izuku jumped back at the newcomer, not having seen any signs of life not even a minute ago in the ghost town.
"Hello." Professor Paradox waved cheerfully at Izuku. "I imagine my visit has caught you by surprise has it not?"
"You!" Izuku pointed at the man.
"Me."
"What are you doing here?!" The panicked teen asked, now freezing and glancing to the watch. He held it up to his chest, protective of the device that had done so much to make him feel special. "Are you here to take the omnitrix back?"
"Oh heavens no." Paradox waved off the boy's concerns. "I just needed to make sure you weren't dragged into something you weren't ready for yet."
"They said invasion." Izuku said sombly. "Is it the same...the one you mentioned when we met?"
Paradox sighed, walking to the side to reveal a bench. Izuku was sure there wasn't one there before. The professor walked around it and took a seat, patting the spot beside him. Knowing this was the man with all the answers Izuku took a seat.
"It is. Time moves differently in this universe than it does for them. When I left with the omnitrix for them it has been roughly one hour."
"But you gave me the omnitrix nearly six years ago!" Izuku then paused, thinking on what the man was saying. Both were true, it was an hour for them and years for him.
"I'm glad you're such a bright young lad. It's easy when you don't have to explain the intricacies of time streams and various other spacial rules." Paradox glanced around, nostalgia running through him as he gazed on the town.
"Curious, so many events are tied to this place." He muttered to himself. "Anyways, I hope you have found the omnitrix useful to becoming a hero."
"Y-yes!" Izuku said, holding up the watch. "I've done so much with it! Healed my friends, given new powers to them, got an alien back home, saved my little sister, and I've written so many notes about all the aliens inside it!"
"Hmmm." Paradox hummed. "You haven't granted powers to yourself with it?"
"I've thought about it." Izuku said, running his thumb over the faceplate. "But everyone would notice if a quirkless kid suddenly got powers, or half his DNA changed."
"Half?" Paradox asked, then his eyes widened briefly. The man ruffled Izuku's hair. "You are very selfless, it's a trait that I wish many had."
Getting up from the bench, Paradox pulled out his pocket watch.
"Wait!" Izuku called out to the man. "Am I using it correctly? The omnitrix I mean."
"Are you helping people?" Paradox asked simply.
"Well, yeah."
"Then you're doing just fine. I'm sure that when the time comes you'll discover the full potential behind the device. Until then, keep doing what you are doing. Goodbye Izuku Midoriya. If you are ever in need of help don't be afraid to ask for it."
"But, how do I contact you?" Izuku asked, then held up the watch. "Do I use this? What frequency do you use? Or is it like a phone number or-"
"Not from me." Paradox interrupted. "From your friends. I doubt they would hesitate if you ever asked."
With those last words, the man vanished in a flash of light, leaving Izuku all alone in the deserted town. Izuku looked back down at the watch, trying to understand the deeper meaning of the man's advice. The full potential of the omnitrix, asking for help.
"I need to figure out the communication functions of you." Izuku said to the watch. Though maybe not in a random American town.
Mentally telling the omnitrix to teleport him back home, he closed his eyes as the green sphere encompassed him and brought him back to his bedroom.
"Izuku." Eri mumbled, shielding her eyes from the light. "Stop teleporting in the middle of the night."
"Sorry." Izuku apologized to his sister in a whisper, trying to adapt to the now dark environment. Maneuvering himself between their beds, he found his and slipped inside his covers. Making sure the covers were sealing him off from his room he brought up the omnitrix's screen.
"I need to figure you out."
"Dude, you look like shit." Kaminari said, poking Izuku's cheek.
He had heavy bags under his eyes from staying up all night. Hours spent understanding the new function, only to realize that pretty much all Earth tech wasn't compatible with the watch unless exclusively tuned to it. Then he spent another few hours stressing over the other universe's invasion, the people that reached out to his omnitrix, trying to trace the signal back, and ending up with no time left.
"That's what Himiko said this morning." He muttered back, trying to take a nap in the noisy bus.
"Just let him take his nap." Jiro warned Kaminari with a jack raised.
"Not like it would actually help." Yanagi said, glancing around the bus. "Too noisy here, and if he tries to sleep for ten minutes he'll feel even more crappy."
Izuku groaned, accepting the truth for what it was. Maybe there would be a nice spot at the USJ where he could take a good power nap, but that would mean missing out on some cool quirks being used. It was a rescue zone, perfect for….her. Glancing to where Ochaco was sitting, she didn't look too happy. Mina was sitting next to her and therefor Eijiro, both doing their best to keep her involved in the conversation.
She looked up, their eyes meeting briefly before he couldn't stand it. It wasn't working, he could still only see Tomo. Izuku wasn't sure how he was going to help her parents and do the assignment with these harsh feelings in the way.
"Hey." Pony tapped his head from behind him. Izuku looked back to his his friend's gently smiling face. She was holding out a juice pouch to him, a very caffeinated one.
"Thanks." He accepted the gift, wondering how he would have gone through the day without her.
"So Midoriya, how exactly does your quirk work?" Jiro asked all of a sudden.
Izuku choked on the drink, now much more awake than before. "W-what do you mean?"
Was this some sort of cruel joke?
"Your translating quirk. Do you have to know the language, hear it for a little while, or does it read their thoughts?"
"Oh yeah!" Kaminari snapped his fingers. "Can you speak French?"
"Oui?" A sparkly student now listened to their conversation.
"Are...are you guys serious?" Izuku asked, baffled by the students around him.
"We are! You never talk about your quirk." Pony said with a smile, then switched back to English. (Seriously Izuku, I know it was obvious the day we met but you never explained how your quirk works.)
Shoto Todoroki, sitting two seats down started to listen more intently. It was hard to get close to Izuku after that incident, his friends keeping Izuku away from Shoto thinking that he was someone as bad as his father. It was hard, realizing he screwed up his chances with the girl behind the screen. The best way to make up with her, was to make up with him. But didn't Izuku have a teleportation quirk?
"He's quirkless you idiots." Bakugo stated from his seat, not looking at anyone.
"He isn't." Shoto argued. "Yet I'm confused, I thought he had a teleportation quirk."
"You thought he had a quirk?" Mina asked from her spot. "What gave you that idea?"
"I watched Himiko's streams."
"He is quirkless, right?" Ochaco asked Eijiro, the boy clamping his mouth shut.
Izuku and Eijiro met one another's sight, now coming to the same conclusion. The constant uses of the watches functions were noticed, and they had no way to explain any of it. Shit.
"Everyone be quiet, we're here." Eraserhead announced to the class.
Meanwhile, Kendo Itsuka was starting to catch a glimpse as to why All Might wanted to have her report Izuku's actions. The class wasn't sure if he was quirkless or not, ok, but what was troubling was how there was two different quirks being debated around him. Was there someone else who passed on an extra quirk to Midoriya, and was that possible? She thought that was what made One for All unique, but if someone else could do something like that...Next time she saw All Might she was going to figure out what exactly he suspected of Midoriya.
Izuku was doing his best not to have a panic attack, gripping the omnitrix tightly under his right hand. He was being discovered, he was stupid, careless, and now the whole class was stealing looks at him when they thought the teachers weren't watching. The only person who actually knew a fraction of the situation was Eijiro, and even he was kept in the dark about the full truth behind the watch. His best friend, who was always defending him didn't even know what half his body was. It wasn't fair to him, Izuku needed to start figuring things out and actually start letting some people in his life know what's happening.
"Um, Sensei, is that supposed to be happening?" Jiro pointed to the center of the training facility.
Everyone turned to look at what she was talking about. A dark swirling cloud that absorbed light was manifesting itself. It widened, and a sickly hand emerged from it.
Izuku took his hand off the omnitrix, his sleep deprived brain trying to remember if there were any heroes at the school who looked like that.
"Stay back!" Aizawa warned them, putting his goggles over his eyes. "Those are villains."
Villains, oh ok….WHAT?!
Izuku would rather be dealing with aliens right now to be honest. Eijrio ran up to his side alongside Pony, both taking defensive positions by him. Even the familiar blond came up from behind to stay near him.
"We need to get out of here." Eijiro said to him, looking back and forth from the watch to Izuku. "With everyone else. Let us handle it."
Izuku nodded his head, getting the message. Everyone was already questioning his quirkless status, any watch use would expose him right away.
"Thirteen, get them out of here." Eraserhead leapt from the top of the stairs, descending to the mob of villains that had started to emerge from the portal.
"Everyone! This way!" The rescue hero dressed as an astronaut charged forward, the class plus Izuku right behind her.
"I'm afraid I can't allow that." A man with the same appearance of the portal appeared in front of them.
"Greetings, we are the-"
"Stabilized quirk factor detected." The omnitrix announced.
The villain paused, narrowing his eyes at the little contraption upon Izuku's wrist. The boy froze in place, internally cursing his luck. Before he could think of how to cover it up or help his class the dial rose, a yellow beam running over the villain.
"What are you doing?!" Eijiro yelled.
"It's not me!" Izuku yelled back.
"Scanning...scan complete. New sample acquired."
The villain floated down, looking over himself. "That's not going to have any side effects is it?"
"I uh...I don't know." Izuku admitted. Not really understanding why the villain was being so casual with them.
"Either way, it's my job to-"
*BOOM* Bakugo had launched forward, trying to take care of the freak before he could do anything. Eijiro acted right after, flinging red shards right at him. Portals emerged to send the damage elsewhere, making sure none of it could hit him.
"What violent children. I suppose it would be best to take care of you now."
His personage grew larger, swirling portals running through the body of teens.
"Izuku!" Pony tried to cling to the boy, only to grab onto nothing. The darkness disappeared, leaving her with a handful of other students still at the door.
But not Izuku.
"Oof!" Izuku landed on his stomach, a splash of water rising around his impact. He was glad to be wearing the durable casual clothing he found in the watch, his uniform would have been ruined from that. No, that wasn't important, what was important was the villains charging right at him!
*BBRRBRBRBRBRBR*
He covered his ears, the loud noise smacking the nearest villain and sending him to his allies.
"Get up!" Jiro said, grabbing Izuku's green jacket and pulling him to his feet.
There was a lot of wind, it was cold, everything getting pelted by rain, and dark.
"Where the hell are we?!" Kaminari yelled, before dodging a swipe at a guy with bones coming from his knuckles. He was drenched, along with everything around them so using his quirk was a no go.
"Less talking, more fighting." Yanagi lifted two nearby mailboxes with her quirk, letting them fly into the villain Kaminari was dodging.
Izuku stayed close to the three, the wind constantly circling around them and blowing water into his face. Looking up he couldn't see any clouds just metal.."We're still in the USJ!" Izuku announced.
"Ok, so we're not too far from the others right?" Jiro asked, circling around Izuku and making sure no one got close to the non hero student.
"I think so." Izuku said, looking around the place. The villains kept getting knocked around easily from Jiro's sonic blasts and Yanagi's floating objects around her. "But we need to get out of here to know for sure."
"I can look for an exit." Yanagi said, a fallen stop sign floating to her. "Stay safe." She told the other two.
"W-wait!" Izuku tried to get her from going off on her own, but she had sat on the floating object and zoomed off like a witch. What's rule one of emergencies? Don't split up!
"Ok, what now?" Kaminari asked in slight panic, grabbing a fallen tube of metal and using it as a blunt weapon
"Let's get somewhere safe and wait for Yanagi." Jiro was already tugging Izuku's jacket, pulling him in a direction that wasn't out in the open. Translator quirk or quirkless, wasn't helpful here.
"She might have a hard time locating us if we go indoors!" Kaminari said.
"Still don't want to be out in this weather!" Jiro braced herself, letting off another large barrage of concussive soundwaves at the villains. "It's already hard to see!"
Izuku tried to think, but his thoughts felt scrambled. So many things were on the background of his mind from too many things happening in his life. Just focus on the immediate problem. They can't stay out but they needed Yanagi to be able to find them.
"Jiro, how long can you use your speaker boots?" Izuku asked the girl.
"For a couple of minutes straight, why?"
"If you have a plan spill it!" Kaminari took another swing, bonking someone onto their ass.
Izuku tuned out his panic, he just needed to focus on the next step. "You think she could hear them over this storm?"
Jiro smirked, turning up a nob on the side of her shoes.
*BRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRBR*
"You think she can hear that?" Jiro asked, but saw that everyone in a thirty foot radius was nursing their ears.
"oops."
Eijiro ran across the broken street, throwing crystal projectiles at anyone who tried to follow. That portal had brought him and Bakugo to the ruin zone, nearly forty villains waiting for them. Ignoring the guys who probably couldn't even scratch his skin, Eijiro left to do something more important. He needed to find Izuku, he didn't have a way to defend himself without that watch. If he wasn't going to use it, then he was just quirkless. Clever but quirkless.
*BOOM* Bakugo blasted himself above Kirishima, taking out a few thugs along the way. "Where the hell are you going?! Running away?!"
"We need to find Izuku!" Eijiro shouted. He turned around and jammed his arm into the ground, erecting tall crystals that pointed towards the villains to keep them from holding him back. "Not that I expect you to care."
Bakugo landed on his feet, the battle scowl he wore disappearing. "Fine."
That was it, no arguing, no yelling? Eijiro wasn't sure what was up with the guy who blasted others for fun, but if he got more help to help Izuku then fine by him. "Where do you think he could be?"
"Hell if I know." Bakugo ran alongside Eijiro, his eyes briefly scanning the area. "If he's smart he'll try grouping up with the others."
"He is smart." Eijiro shot back.
"I never said he wasn't!" Bakugo yelled back, leaping over the redheaded crystal teen and throwing an explosion at a villain waiting to ambush them.
"So, we're regrouping?" Eijiro double checked.
"What did I just say rock candy?!" To relieve his sudden anger Bakugo took it out on three more villains that intercepted their path.
*BOOM*
"Just keep up." The explosive teen now took the lead, running ahead and letting Eijiro chase him from behind.
"Geez! You guys are too fast!" Toru called out from behind.
Both turned back, seeing if they heard right. Yep, she was there all along and neither of them noticed her.
"Wow, that was cold." Mina quipped, the entire mountain zone covered in ice.
"Is now really a good time for jokes?" Kendo asked Mina, warming herself by covering herself with her quirk in the form of a pink glowing blanket.
"That was a joke?" Shoto tried to understand some of his classmates, but it was not worth the effort to him. The only one he was trying to understand was Izuku, and therefore Himiko. All the yelling from his father he could handle, but everytime he thought about how he left a horrible first impression to Himiko made his heart feel colder. He would make it up to her, by saving Izuku and showing he was a good person.
The first step to that was finding out why these villains were here. Walking up to one of them that had most his face unfrozen, Todoroki placed his chilly hand on their cheek.
"You're going to tell us everything I want to know. If you talk quickly, you might walk away without frostbite taking your arms and legs."
Kendo wanted to interject at the harsh attitude, but her desire to want to know more about why they had come kept her from doing anything. Was Midoriya involved somehow? If All Might was suspicious of him, and villains just showed up, there was a good chance he could be connected to this.
"Let's try and find Midoriya after this." Kendo said to the others.
"Oh my gosh you're right!" Mina shouted. "He doesn't have a quirk, or anything to defend himself with! If he's alone...we have to find him fast."
"I agree." Shoto said walking back up to them after his, chat. "But we have bigger problems. They brought an 'All Might Killer.'"
Pony glared at the portal villain that floated ominously above them. Only a few remained, that speedy boy, herself, Shoji, and Thirteen herself.
"Stay back kids!" Thirteen held her fingers out, the caps at the end popping open.
"Where is All Might? He was supposed to be here." The villain asked.
"Sorry, but you'll just have to settle for me!" Thirteen activated her quirk, a vacuum sucking in the loose wisps around Kurogiri.
"You're quirk is a dangerous one, but has faults of its own."
Pony watched in horror as her teacher was beginning to rip herself apart. Acting quickly she sent out two horns to ram Thirteen out of the way with their blunt ends.
(Where did you send Izuku?!) She demanded, slipping into English.
"Oh, a foreigner. UA collects precious gems from many places."
She gritted her teeth, feeling she wasn't even taken seriously. Fine, she would get serious. On all fours she charged right at the man.
"No! Don't!" Thirteen warned.
A portal opened up right in front of her, ready to take her in. Grabbing the horns with her hands she pulled them off her head, they lifted her above the portal, straight to the villain. He made one more right in front of him in the air. Pushing off the horns, she descended to fall under the villain as she controlled her horns to go around the portal and intercept his sides.
Kurogiri barely dodged the horns, but didn't see the ones coming below to stab into his body. "ARGH!"
Pony controlled the horns stuck in the man, shooting him away from the door as fast as she could. "You!"
She pointed right at the young man in knight armor, he flinched under her commanding finger. "Y-yes?!"
Pony then pointed towards the door, already feeling the horns stuck on the villain teleport to somewhere nearby. "RUN!"
"Right!" Tenya Ida sprinted to the door, his quirk propelling him faster than any normal person.
"Wonderful effort." The villain emerged from the inky darkness. "But usel-" Pony could still feel the horns on his body, so she sent the man right to Shoji who enveloped him in a bear hug.
"Go!" Thirteen yelled. "Get help!"
Kurogiri tried to open one last portal to stop the man, but the rescue hero had gotten her bearings and sucked it up with her quirk. He rammed his shoulder against the steel doors, a sickening crack heard by everyone. Ida didn't stop though, he ran straight out of the building to get the much needed assistance.
"Tomura will not be pleased with this." The villain spoke, before summoning a portal around himself and Shoji, disappearing before their eyes. Pony tried to feel the horns she had placed on him, but they must have been too far.
Without a moment to lose, Pony got back on all fours and started to run to the nearest zone.
"Where are you going?" Thirteen demanded.
"Find Izuku!" She shouted back, but the hero grabbed her side and stopped her.
"You can't run off on your own! Besides, where do you think he'll go once he has the chance."
Pony hated just waiting around, but she didn't know where Izuku was. She also didn't know if he was ok. Please, be ok.
Kaminari squeezed the water out of his jacket, his headphones off to the side. They were useless, no signal was getting out of here so what was the point. Jiro kept her boot near the doorway, ready to blast any villains that got a little too close. Every minute she let out a loud one so that Yanagi could find them when she located the exit. That had felt like a while ago, with no signs of her. Izuku was pacing back and forth, disturbed by the sudden stalemate.
The longer they waited, the longer the villains outside had to plan. Kaminari was basically a one shot use, his quirk would fry everyone outside once he stepped back into the rain. That included Kaminari himself.
Something was wrong, well besides the obvious of being trapped with no way of contact to anyone outside. Izuku briefly pondered about using the omnitrix to send a signal, but without anyone nearby having a way to receive it, it was useless. Teleportation was out of the question, not only would it reveal the omnitrix it would leave Yanagi alone in this zone.
"So, Midoriya." Kaminari asked, leaving his wet jacket on the floor to dry. "Are you quirkless?"
Jiro jammed one of her jacks into his back. "Don't be rude!"
"Ow! I wasn't! Everyone on the bus seemed to have a different idea, so I just wanted to ask."
"Does it matter?" Izuku asked, holding his hands out to show off where they were at. "Would having a translation quirk help us here?"
"I guess not." Kaminari sat on his jacket, gripping the metal pipe he kept for defense. "I mean, my quirk isn't exactly good here either. I feel kind of useless for a hero student."
"Wait, so are you really quirkless?" Jiro asked.
"...yeah." Izuku admitted. That was a whole different can of worms, Pony didn't know, she never knew. Would she suddenly treat him differently once she found out, gave up being friends? The odds were too likely.
"Huh. Ok." Jiro shrugged, scowling at the movement in the rain.
"Wait, that's it?" Izuku asked.
"I mean, what else do you want us to say?" Kaminari peeked outside the window. "It's just a fact."
"A fact that people hate me for!" Izuku shouted back, surprising the two.
"Who would hate someone for being quirkless? You don't get to choose what quirk you get." Jiro summarized her feelings on the matter.
"If I got to choose my quirk." Kaminari let his fingers spark. "I would have picked something more reliable that didn't fry my brains."
Izuku wasn't about to bring up how technically his watch could bypass that and let people choose a new power set, but to hear these two just be so casual about it...it was really refreshing. They didn't coddle him, baby him, they just treated him the same as when they thought he did have one.
"Alright you brats listen up!" One of the villains outside shouted. "If you don't come out of there, we're going to gut the pale one!"
Pale one?
Izuku felt his blood run colder than the wind outside. In the furry villain's grasp, he held up his claws to Yanagi's throat. She was caught, and was now their hostage. If they go out there they're dead. If they stay in here she's dead. What kind of sick offer was this?!
"Shit." Kaminari got up, glaring at the group of five outside. "Guys, I might have a stupid plan."
"What is it?" Jiro asked, aiming her boot at the villains.
"I go out there, they start releasing Yanagi, you hit them with a sonic blast, Midoriya grabs Yanagi, and I shock the villains. Cool? Cool. Let's do it."
"W-wait you idiot!" Jiro reached to grab him, but he was already stepping outside.
"Damn, I guess we're doing this. Ready Midoriya?" The rocker asked Izuku, who could only nod and get ready to sprint through the rain.
"Alright! We're coming out!" Kamari announced, dropping his pipe and walking outside. He made sure to walk as slowly as he could so that his friends could spot the opening.
Inside, Izuku kept his eyes on the group. Five, but that felt like a small number. They never saw how many there were when they arrived, so they didn't know how many there should be. Jiro took out around seven, and Yanagi could have taken out more until she got caught. How many were there supposed to be left.
*Sploosh*
Something landed in a deep puddle, behind the building!
"Kaminari! It's a trap!" Izuku shouted, the building he and Jiro were in starting to shake.
"Shit!" The blond cursed in the rain, electric arcs started to poor off his skin. "I'm letting you know beforehand that I'm sorry for this Yanagi!"
A large ball of lightning started sparking outside the building, striking anyone in range. Izuku grabbed onto Jiro, they couldn't go out with Kaminari going full blast but they were dead if they stayed in there. The only option he could think of was pull her into the most stable looking portion of the corner of the building, and pray they managed to make it out. "FIRE YOUR QUIRK!"
Jiro wasn't sure if it was meant for her, but she complied. Facing her boots towards the ceiling she prepared herself to use as much concussive soundwaves to keep them from being crushed.
*BRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRBR*
*CRASH*
A portion of the structure was punched outward, the building coming down right above them. It leaned to the side as it fell, making the villains run off to not get caught under its demolition. Yanagi used her quirk to push against the clawed hand, biting it at the same time to escape. That's when Kaminari's quirk hit them, paralyzing them under tens of thousands of volts of electricity. After releasing so much electricity, and in water, the teen felt the sting of his own power as it made his muscles tighten.
Once the power died down, his body collapsed onto the pavement. The rain continued to crash against the ground, the bodies, the fallen building. No one was spared from the fight.
*SKREEE*
Except for one.
The omnitrix let out a blast, shooting the tons of rubble on top of Izuku away. He climbed out of the hole, breathing in the wet air as his adrenaline coursed through his body. He shouldn't have done that, used the omnitrix, but under the circumstances he really didn't want to get crushed.
"Ugh, my head."
"Kaminari!" Izuku stepped over the chunks of cement around him, running to the boy in the middle of the road.
"Heeyy Midori. Did we wiin?" His words slurred as he got up, his eyes locking on the fallen building in front of him.
"Jiroo?" He asked worriedly, not seeing the girl get out from the wreckage.
Izuku spun back around, realizing he forgot to check on her.
"Duude! You're bleeeeding!" He pointed to his jacket.
Seeing where his finger led, he stretched out the fabric. It wasn't his blood.
It wasn't his blood.
"JIRO!" Izuku shouted, climbing back up to the hole in the rubble frantically. When he reached the top, he stopped believing he was awake. It was just a nightmare, that's what it was.
No way was Jiro lying on the ground with rebar sticking out of her chest, blood gurgling from her mouth.
"SHIIIT! MIDORIII!" Kaminari yelled.
Izuku turned around slowly, wishing he didn't. It wasn't just Jiro who was hurt, Yanagi had her hands around her throat, blood seeping through her fingers. Kaminari was taking off his white shirt and pressing it against the wound, the cloth turning crimson nearly immediately.
A bad dream, a bad dream where two of his classmates were dying right in front of him.
He wanted to go catch up on his sleep.
I think this is a good place to stop. If I'm nice, I might post the next chapter as soon as I can. Maybe in the same day. Or, I could get caught up in work and be stuck not able to update y'all for the next week.
Any grammar errors please point it out

Let me know what you think about it and if you want to see more!
The-Gamer-6818:
That's the thing, this wasn't supposed to be an OchacoXIzuku thing. They were just becoming good friends, and someone decided to try pushing them to be more without them wanting to go there. There were no romantic feelings between the two. I admit I could have delivered that better, but I wanted to get it in one chapter and get started on the USJ.
AI-Omicron:
Those are good predictions for how they would handle that, but how would they deal with Izuku? Would they discover aliens from the omnitrix, or somewhere else? Many questions yet so little answers without looking into the future.
lucarioDN:
Pants will be worn, Izuku doesn't have that kind of confidence to strut around naked yet.
Musical Dragon Rider:
This drama is something I've planned up for a while, ever since the first two chapters. True, All Might and Nighteye are taking this a different direction than we would like, but they aren't emotionally tied to Midoriya and he is suspected of being tied to All for One. A man neither have good feelings about.
Gloyhiderthemystic:
It was Kirishima! I don't know what wings of fire is, and I doubt I'll write a fic about it. I still have a ton to do for the ones I already have, AND I have like ten in the back of my mind that keep circling around.
Cavaliere Nero:
Ben 10,000 in UA had a form of ultimatrix, hence ultimate Ben. Izuku as far as I know would need an ultimatrix to do that.
SonicMax:
It's because of the Ochaco shippers I keep getting, I wanted to tease them and them stomp on their demands.
Creator of the multiverse:
Toru was tired of waiting for love drama so she made it happen. Just not in the way she planned.
In a way, Izuku is already a huge threat to society. He can take quirks and give powerful abilities to people.
ProjectIceman:
His unresolved feelings easily cloud his judgement.
Gloyhiderthemystic:
One day, maybe today, maybe tomorrow, maybe months later. There's a chance Bakugo would want to steer away from anything alien, but we'll just have to wait and see.
Funny-Little-Cute White Fox:
It's going to be clear, when they find out about the watch they will want to take it off Izuku.
Pedro tp:
He doesn't transform yet because it's overdone, and has had no reason to try and find such feature.
BrokenLifeCycle:
I tried to make the reactions realistic, basing them off things I've seen myself. People act very, very irrational when it comes to love and get hurt easily and react poorly.
AlienKing:
Are you talking about the non canon ones or the ones featured in the reboot?
dsgundam00:
As cool as that would be, Alien X is not going to be. Otherwise every transformation after that is going to feel underwhelming.
Animeguy1101:
If he was more cowardly, maybe, but he has been gaining some confidence overtime thanks to his friends and finding his place in the world.
