Master Control
Chapter 33
"Holy crap you guys!" Toru held up her phone as she entered the classroom, the image of the 'Frozen Mothman' over a pained Endeavor. "Have you seen this? This guy just shows up for a few days, takes out a bunch of heroes, eats some cars and just vanishes! He didn't even rob anyone!"
"Destruction of property is a serious crime!" Ida snapped up, chopping his arm. "Not only that, he has resisted arrest and assaulted many honorable heroes!"
"You're just mad because he kicked your brother's butt even with his new top speed." Denki teased the boy.
"Speaking of which." Tsu put her finger on her chin looking at the boy. "Did you get Izuku to heal your brother?"
"AH!" Mina grabbed her horns. "Why didn't I see that?! It's so obvious now!"
"Doesn't that just prove it now?" Ojiro commented. "We don't need extra training to be better heroes if Izuku changes our quirks."
"Tell that to Aizawa sensei." Kyoka muttered, thinking about all the hours she had to put into her own training.
"H-hold on!" Ida tried to back the conversation up. "He released a video after recovering, and he looks completely human!"
"Oh yeah." Eijiro turned around from his spot. "Izubro has to mix them with something that heals. If he got healed, he wouldn't look human."
"Um." Ochaco rose her hand. "Did anyone see how the villain had the same symbol as Izuku's watch?"
"No." Reiko immediately shot the girl down. "You're just imagining things."
"I saw it as well." Momo argued, pulling out her own arrangement of photos on her phone.
"It's photoshop." Reiko argued back.
"They had live coverage of it." Shoto spoke up on a rare occurrence, having stared at his own phone for quite some time.
"Special effects." The ghost girl narrowed her eye at the boy.
"You put those on after shooting the video." The icy boy stared her down, the two locked in battle through their gazes. "Not only that, why would public news networks think to put a random symbol on a random villain that we know is connected to Izuku from confidential information? It's a fact, the villain who beat my father so quickly is connected to Izuku."
Pony could only sit in place, sweat pouring down her face as she didn't know how to intervene, if she should even try to give an explanation. Reiko, bless her soul (which she wasn't sure how that would work since she's part ghost now) did attempt to sway their suspicions away from Izuku, only in the worst way possible to have everyone believe he was involved. Also, what was up with the intensity around Todoroki about this? Was he mad that Izuku beat his dad?
Either way, no one could guess what was really going on.
"Hey." Mina whispered over to Pony. "Is Izuku doing alright? I know things were pretty scary last night when that guy from USJ showed up but-"
"He's a little banged up." Pony felt it was necessary to not just say he's fine. Even if Izuku says it, that doesn't make it true. "But he'll be back tomorrow."
"Good, at least someone should get some sleep." Mina sighed, Pony now noticing the bags under her eyes.
"Did you not get any?" The American worried over her.
"Nah." Mina waved it off. "It's ok though, I've pulled some all nighters before. What about you?"
"Um…it was complicated." Somehow Pony did get some sleep, and she was lucky enough to be tired enough to not think about Reiko in the room.
"You slept fine." Reiko announced. "You and Izuku fell asleep at ten thirty."
"WHAT?!" Mina slapped her hands on the desk. "YOU SLEPT WITH IZUKU?! AND REIKO WATCHED YOU GUYS?!"
"That bastard!" Mineta roared from the back. "He betrayed all us men by passing up a threesome! GAH!"
Instead of Tsu's tongue smacking the perverted boy, a pink mouthguard manifested around the boy's mouth as a similar colored aura locked his body to sit at attention.
"That's enough." Kendo warned them without even taking her eyes away from the window. "Class is about to start."
Everyone who wasn't in their seats slowly started moving into them, and when Eraserhead opened the door with a single bandage he could only take a guess. "Kendo, as impressive your new control over your quirk is please release him. If he feels he's in the mood to say something that will get him expelled then I would like to hear it."
The pink vanished, Mineta still not having enough courage to move or say anything from his seat.
"If that's all, then let's get on with class."
*Siiiiiip* "Ah." Toshinori was greatly enjoying his beverage, ignoring the stresses of the world. Naomasa had informed him that while Tomura made an attempt on young Midoriya and Tsunotori, he was unsuccessful. Not only that, but he was made quirkless, and Yanagi had come to their rescue and defeated the villain! If only that new villain hadn't shown up and caused a distraction for his escape.
But, the students were safe. That's all that mattered.
"So Kendo." The man looked over to his protege, who was easily picking up her food with her quirk and bringing it to her mouth. "Have you picked out who you wish to do your internships with?"
"Actually." She drifted the floating food back to its plate with hardly a thought. "I was wondering if I could spend that time with my father."
"Your father?" He never heard her speak of him. "Is he a hero?"
The girl thought it over, something distracting her full attention from this conversation. "Not really, but we both have similar quirks. He's been showing me a lot recently and I feel like I can learn more with him than a hero."
"You don't get these chances often." All Might warned her. "The chance to work alongside heroes in the field brings much experience and connections that can't be made anywhere else. In fact, my old mentor mentioned that he could help you get farther with One for All. You mentioned you haven't been able to channel more than fifteen percent without harming yourself, which was where you started when you first received it."
"I think this will help with that too." Kendo still hasn't looked him in the eyes yet. "I just, feel like what I'm learning from my father is really important."
"One for All is important too." All Might tried to bring a little more seriousness into this. "It's a quirk that's been passed for generations to-"
"I know that." Kendo's harsh tone almost made his lung stop functioning. "But it's not doing me any more good trying to focus on some petty rivalry."
Petty? All Might clenched his fists, holding back his rising anger over the fate of humanity being overlooked. "Kendo, All for One is the greatest threat there is, and he is alive and planning who knows what. Only we know the truth, only we hold One for All, the last hope to-"
"There's more to life than just fighting some endless war. I mean, what has he really done beside hoard quirks? From what you're telling me this has really only been going on between him and whoever had his brother's quirk. I'm not saying he's a good guy, no, he's obviously bad for giving people the resources to attack a school and make a monster to kill you. Yet he's just targeting whoever has One for All!"
"Kendo!" Toshinori filled his yellow suit, All Might sitting across from her with a warning in his gaze. "Do not underestimate him, he is stronger than you could imagine."
"Maybe he's beyond what you can imagine." Kendo got up, letting her bag hover behind her with her quirk. "But there's more out there than him, and I plan to be ready for all of it."
Kendo's controlled steps were just short of stomping as she left the hero, the door opening for her as she moved right on through. Nezu, who had opened it was watching her walk away with the intrigue he always held towards humans. "Her progress has improved drastically from what her homeroom teacher has shared with me."
"Yes." All Might relaxed, dissipating his muscular form and staring towards his hands. "She'll be a better hero than me, I just hope she will be ready for when All for One makes his move."
"Hm yes." The Principal let the door shut behind him as he stalked forward with his paws behind his back. "All for One is the greatest known threat we can perceive, it would make sense that we focused our efforts into stopping his plans and discovering whatever secrets he holds."
In a poor but successful attempt to pull himself onto the couch, Nezu held his paw out to let All Might give him the cup he made for Kendo originally.
"So what about the ones we aren't seeing?"
Raising a brow, All Might wondered just where Nezu was trying to take this conversation. "You mean the Frozen Mothman? That's the only villain I can think of that's raising questions."
"He was very open with his actions." Nezu sipped on the cup. "Purely driven by instinct, and whatever need his body demanded was fulfilled given his rising sightings have come to a complete stop."
"What about that symbol?" All Might questioned. "Are you connecting this villain to Midoriya's watch?"
"Oh there is no doubt about a connection." Nezu mused. "He has exhibited many traits that are similar to those that have been spliced with randomized quirk species. I wished to ask the boy about this new villain and if he was one of the options in the omnitrix."
The man began to make further connections, for a second believing he had figured out the full grasp of what Nezu was getting at. "I see, so the creator of that watch is branching out and creating new creatures."
"I would not jump to such a conclusion so hastily." Nezu patted All Might's arm for the attempt to be intelligent. "After all, there is still so little we know about the omnitrix. Even meeting the one who delivered it into Izuku Midoriya's life is an enigma. No, I question what secret it holds that is greater than the threat All for One poses."
A secret more important than finding out what All for One was doing? All Might would have laughed if it was funny, and if it wouldn't hurt his messed up organs. "I don't think it's that big. Perhaps unique, but it shouldn't distract us."
Nezu didn't reply, pitying the man for such intense tunnel vision. "Lunch is nearly over, and you've got a class to teach."
"Ah, yes." Toshinori stood up, dusting himself off before he swelled up to his powerful stature. "Well the, I AM OFF TO TEACH HEROICS!"
The man boisterously sprinted towards the class, Nezu pulled out a smartphone that served as a personal tablet. He clicked a few buttons, accessing one of the hallway cameras outside one of the few rooms that didn't have one, or not one that was active. How curious, the only one who would know of said camera was Eraserhead himself who placed it.
The door to the room opened, the hero himself stepping out with the other hybrids from his class. This time, Pony was in their company, the other teens seemingly in shock besides Reiko. One person more person was present, their dear detective Naomasa Tsukauchi who was one of the few who knew of One for All.
One member added, who just happened to be with Izuku Midoriya during the events from yesterday. Whatever she found allowed her to be apart of this new secret club that Nezu wasn't invited to. If Mr. Tsukauchi thought this was too important to share with All Might, that was fine. He didn't want the Principal involved, that was ok too.
After all, if this puzzle had a discovery that was more grand than the existence of One for All and All for One itself, then oh it would be rewarding to figure it out and drop the news of his precise discovery of their secret. Now then, what role did Izuku Midoriya play in all of this?
Eri sat on the couch, humming to herself as she tapped away at her laptop. She had already finished with her schoolwork, so right now she was helping Izuku try to find a massive place filled with all sorts of machines thrown away in decent condition. Dumpster was a non go, and he already cleaned out the beach so there was nothing there. So, she had to settle for looking into salvage yards which were not free.
Looking up, she held back the urge to tackle the babies into a cuddle session. They all sat attentive in front of the television, watching the penguins waddle across the screen. None of them flinched when an orca broke the ice and captured three penguins at once into its jaws. Instead they all leaned further towards the screen, all letting out a noise of interest in the animalistic tendencies.
The door to Izuku's room clicked open, but it wasn't Izuku who exited. Eri recognized the galvanic mechamorph species from Izuku's notebook, and the dial on his chest was a clear indicator who it was. She didn't have to shield her eyes anymore when she changed, just squinting as she got used to the sensation of the burst of light.
Izuku let out a content sigh, stretching as he came over with something in his hands.
"Whatcha got?" Eri asked her brother.
"A compromise." He answered, holding up five white squares with vents on the side. "I couldn't turn my room into a good enough environment for them without freezing the whole house, so instead I took what was left of the super freezer and I made these. Between Gray Matter's planning, Jury Rigg's resourcefulness, and Upgrade's precision, I turned the spare freezer I was using in there into these. They should be able to regulate their body temperature while serving as trackers, dimensional storage, communicators, medical scanners, and even emergency teleports. Though if I have to use that last one I may end up frying the device."
Walking over to where his kids were, he frowned when he saw they were all watching two polar bears locked in violent combat. "Why can't they like hero cartoons?"
"It's just a nature documentary." Eri justified the program. "Besides, they like it. At least they're not trying to phase out of the house."
"Yeah." Izuku had to agree, keeping their attention occupied while he was busy was better than chasing them through the streets if one fell through a wall. He shuddered to think of if they tried becoming tangible while halfway through something. "Ok, first up is Enji."
The largest of the group was plucked up by Izuku's arms, sneezing some snow into his face in the process. It held its hands forward, trying to grab the piece of technology from Izuku's grasp. He maneuvered his hand around the tiny limbs trying to intercept it, until Izuku saw his opening and swiftly placed it on the child's chest. With a quick tap, four white bands wrapped around its torso like a harness. A small mist came off the device, Enji relaxing as it activated.
"Did you name them after the heroes you beat to gloat?" Eri teased as she watched Enji suddenly phasing their chest. The device phased with the child, another question answered about how much Izuku put into those things.
"It's not like I ever plan on revealing them to those heroes." Izuku muttered as he set Enji down beside Eri. He grabbed the others, doing the same with each one. Keigo was a little tough, always wanting to fly if they weren't watching television. Shinji was nice and manageable, never really causing any trouble and remaining calm. Tensei, the one who always managed to slip out of his grasp and was probably most likely to escape first. Rumi was the smallest, using her feet more often instead of her arms to do anything and often starting squabbles between the siblings.
"No don't eat that!" Izuku caught Rumi munching on one of the devices that wasn't active yet. As soon as he moved to get it out of their mouth before they could do some serious damage, Rumi swallowed it whole. Ugh, he only had enough parts to make the five.
"Oh my gosh!" Eri panicked after seeing Rumi swallow something that was way too big for any human baby to. "She's gonna choke-"
*Burp*
"...or not."
They both swear even if Rumi was only a day old, Rumi still seemed to have a concept of being smug.
"That's also why I need to get some more metals." Izuku began to explain, running a hand through his hair. "It's not the biggest part of their diet, but it helps with digestion."
"How come you only gave one of them a girl name?" Eri pinched Rumi's cheek, who seemed to take that as an invitation to sit on her lap. Keigo was already resting on her head, Shinji hanging off one arm while Enji was on the other. Tensei was leaning their head against her leg, Rumi looking at the two while sitting on the other.
Izuku brushed his fingers through Rumi's antena, getting a pur in response. "I mean, she was the only female hero I fought. Since these guys don't have gender I didn't think it mattered."
"You just called them guys."
"I used it in a gender neutral sense."
A thought just popped to his mind, Izuku thinking about how the others would reacting to him having children. Naomasa was probably breaking the news to Denki, Kyoka, and Eijiro right now. Oh, they wouldn't be able to have Mina visit unless they told her everything. In fact, they couldn't have anyone come over unless they knew about alien kids…..alien kids….
Eri noticed his sudden shift from casual tense, to stressed out mode again. He really needed a vacation, maybe they could go to Hawaii?
"Omnitrix." Izuku spoke to the watch. "Are the genetic structures of spliced people able to reproduce with basic human DNA?"
"All previous spliced individuals are not compatible with basic human."
His heart stopped for a few seconds, the reality of it settling in. These splices, they were meant to help people. Yes he managed to save some lives but he sterilized them. Denki wasn't even in a desperate situation and now he can't have kids.
What had he done?
"Izuku." Eri called out to him. "You didn't know, it's not your fault."
His lack of reply didn't calm her down, the children began picking up on their parent's distress and began to chirp towards him. As soon as he heard them he began to act, finding someway to keep himself busy.
"What's the number for the scrap yard?" He asked his sister.
"I'll text you the info." She stated, taking a quick picture and sending it to him. Well, at least he wasn't running off or anythi-
"I'm gonna go see what I can get." Izuku stated as the omnitrix began to glow. "Call me if anything happens."
*SKREEE*
Aaaaaand he was gone. Eri was left behind with the children, who all became agitated now that he was gone. In response, Eri turned up the television until the sound of a polar bear dragging a panicking seal from the water brought their attention. They all watched the predator rip into its meal as its cries began to die out, their eyes locked on the natural events taking place.
"You kids are monsters you know that?"
*Chirp*
Appearing in an alleyway near the scrapyard, Izuku looked around to see if he could see the-
"Uncategorized DNA detected."
He just can't get a break can he?
AAAND Next arc here we are! The omnitrix has detected new DNA! I'm not involving an OC this time, so what Ben 10 characters could it be? I'll level with you guys, it's been fun punching out chapter like this, but given the fact that I just got a ps5 you might not hear from me for a little while. I'll still write when I have free time at work, but the updates won't be as constant from now on. Also, I really do need to give my other stories attention.
I'm glad you guys are liking the Baby Chills, we might be moving on to other focuses but this will spice up the home life.

The Black Latios: He was spliced when his family brought him to REcovery Girl's office due to his injuries and Tenya's insistence and they met Izuku. After he healed him up, and they recorded a short video, Izuku spliced him.
Colossus Bridger: It could just be Pony is seeing things, Reiko could just be under the influence of the omnitrix and Izuku hasn't shown anything so far to indicate he likes the girl that way.
Demon heart 12: He might have to start considering it soon.
Colossus Bridger: Stain wouldn't last two seconds against the speedster.
morsemadison532: No magic.
HyroTheGodOfFiction: That's a big if, considering that his public image itself does a lot to stop crime. Plus, not many splices can match up to All Might's strength and speed, not even a Vaxasaurian.
E3roa: Ok, now I understand what you mean. Yes, there are no other Necrofriggians in this universe besides Izuku and his children.
Guest: Momo isn't a part of the secret club, so she would have to be informed about the existence of aliens first before I consider that possibility. Also, I think that would make Atomix too OP.
As for 5YL aliens, I don't plan on featuring any aliens not seen on screen in the original Ben 10 shows.
EbayUserGreen: I actually just read it before writing this chapter. Absolutely loved it.
