Master Control

Chapter 48

The students wanted to collapse, their bodies sore and exhausted to the point that their minds could only think of the rest they could have in their beds. But they still had to get to them first.

"Congratulations everyone!" Nezu gave a short clap as he stood in front of their teachers/test proctors, who didn't even look like they got a good stretch in yet. "The performance we saw today from many of you was spectacular. While we would love to let you know the exact grades you will be receiving today, we still have to review over the exams to get a more thorough picture of your efforts and if they met our expectations."

"You mean we don't even know if we passed or failed?!" Denki yelled, still full of energy.

"OF COURSE WE PASSED YOU MORON!" Bakugo fired back. "YOU THINK I WOULD LET US FAIL?!"

"Perhaps." Thirteen interrupted the boy. "But there were some moments I saw that we will need to look over."

Bakugo silently cursed to himself, Midnight fluttering forward to the crowd.

"Be sure to get plenty of rest, your inexperienced bodies need to replenish themselves before things get more exciting~"

"AND!" Present Mic stepped up beside her, making sure she didn't get carried away. "If anyone asks about our new digs, just tell them UA is experimenting with some quirk awakening techniques. Even if it's to your fellow schoolmates."

"If you break these rules." Powerloader slammed his fist into his palm, creating a short shockwave. "There will be hell to pay."

"Oh knock it off." Midnight rolled her eyes towards his threat. "Just because you hardly had any muscle before doesn't mean you should flex that metal body off all the time now."

"I don't know." Present Mic flexed his own powerful arms. "I'm never gonna waste a moment to show off these guys ever again. OH! I should get a sleeveless jacket!"

"HAHAHA!" All Might joined his coworkers, giving a pose of power as he showed off the number one muscles. "Having confidence in yourself is important to being a hero, but we must remember not to let it go to our heads!"

"You're one to talk." The gunslinging hero retorted towards the man who flexed with every word.

"Have a safe trip home everyone!" Nezu cut this banter between his obedient underlings short. "There was a recent villain engagement so you might see some activity through the streets. Rest assured I've been informed of his capture so there is no more threat, but stay vigilant. Criminals and villains can appear at any time and place."

The warning was taken seriously, the class having experienced first hand how safety can be an illusion.

"Wait." All Might leaned down towards Nezu. "Why were we not informed of this?"

"We were in a test of course!" The Principal said like it was the most obvious thing. "Do you realize how much time it takes to plan these?"

"For you less than fifteen seconds." Hound dog growled out.

"True, but our priority is keeping our students safe. This was the safest location alongside an active hero present for each group. I was keeping tabs on the development, and if needs be would have had a more active response. Yet, it is handled."

"If you say so." Thirteen finalized their conversation, not wanting to argue with the smartest person any of them ever knew.

"AAhhhh!" Mina stretched tall as she loosened up her stiff muscles. "That was crazy!"

"Tell me about it." Ochaco kept her eyes open as she trudged forward. "My new quirk felt useless against bullets."

"But." Ojiro tried to remember the specifics behind her new powers. "Aren't bullets affected by gravity?"

"Only if I use everything I got at the right moment. You try reacting to bullets!"

"I did, and it's not that hard anymore." The boy stated confidently as he ran his hand through his blue hair. "It's almost like my senses are so high it warns me of something dangerous before it even happens."

"Seriously man?!" Eijiro was in awe of the spider boy's new reaction time. "I'm so jealous."

"Bullets can't even hurt us monsieur." Aoyama came sweeping in, enjoying his dazzling ability to hover. "Our flashy gems should be adored, not moving out of our audience's gaze!"

"Still." Eijiro flexed his hand, springing out a crystal blade from his wrist. "Can't imagine how difficult those tests might have been with my old quirk."

"It sucks facing it though." Mina whined. "Midnight managed to put me to sleep instantly and made me reveal our whole plan! Too bad I can't get an upgrade without losing my charming looks."

"I don't know." Denki caught up with them with Kyoka beside him. "I mean, yeah it sucks being shorter but I think it's totally worth it."

"Bet you wouldn't be saying that if you got shorter than Kyoka." The pink girl instantly shot back.

"What?"

"What?" She gave a playful, knowing smile.

"I bet Izuku would love to hear about our exams." Reiko mentioned, already planning to visit him anyway, most likely without his knowledge.

"Oh yeah!" Eijiro pulled out his phone, already ready to call his buddy. "Let's call him and see if we can swing by. Anyone else down?"

"Maybe another time." Kyoka yawned, sounding like an autotune solo for a bit. "I'm ready for bed."

"I'll go with you." Denki offered, then stumbled over himself. "I mean, to your house! Not to bed, or in your house, I was saying I could go with you to-"

"Sure." Kyoka nudged him along. "I'll let you walk me home. I might have enough energy for a short movie or something."

"Great! I mean, cool yeah movie. Oh! I learned how to pop popcorn with my sparks! It makes it taste even better!"

"I'll be the judge of that."

"I think I'll go home too." Ochaco admitted. "I really need a nap."

"So." Mina locked her arm with Eijiro's, forcing him to start skipping with her. "Just us then buddy ol pal oh mine?"

"Looks like it?" He peeked back as they left the school, seeing no one else follow. "Yep, just gonna give Izuku a heads up."

Mostly so he could find somewhere to hide his kids while Mina is over.

Holding the phone to his ear, he waited for his bro to pick up.

….

…..

"Hi! You've reached my phone, sorry I couldn't-"

*click* Eijiro hung up, immediately calling again. No one uses voicemail after all, except weird people. He would call when they were halfway there, it's not like he should be super busy or anything right?

"Eri!" Himiko wrapped her sister tight, the small girl slowly accepting it and squeezing back harder. "Where did you find her?"

"Somewhere that should never exist." Izuku answered, which was more accurate than Himiko realized.

"Why." Eri could feel how different Himiko was, from her more fleshy body to her more cosmic traces. "Oh, you changed your DNA."

"Just for a little bit." Pulling away, Himiko looked back to their destroyed home that was trapped in a moment of pause. "So, we can just turn back our house right? I want to do my room."

"Why?" Izuku had to ask. "I think one of us would be enough for the whole house."

"I don't wanna see what might undo in your room, and I don't want you in my room."

"Actually." Eri interrupted the two as she looked around front the frozen flames to the unmoving planes. "I don't think we should try to fix the local flow before we try to tamper with anything. It might trip over and collapse in on itself."

"An astute observation!" Professor Paradox appeared behind them, holding out a gold star to Eri. "Here, a present from The Dreamer."

"Who's that?" Himiko asked.

"Another version of Eri who time travels by different means with The Stranger. They were some of the help I asked for in searching for your Eri." The man partially explained as he looked over the area with a narrowed gaze. "Hmm, this will be a little tricky."

Folding her arms towards the mystery man, Himiko made her suspicions known. "So is there a reason you know multiple Eri's?"

"Oh please." Professor Paradox rolled his eyes towards the girl. "I'm a time traveler that has lived for more than all of your lives put together. I'm bound to run into others who also explore the vast pathways of realities."

"Himiko." Izuku pinched his sister's arm, getting a satisfying yelp in reaction. "Be nice to the guy who is about to fix our problems."

She was starting to want her mudpuppy body back.

"I won't always be here to fix things." Paradox brought them away from the ruins. "But, while I'm here I can lend a hand."

"A PHONE CALL IS HERE!"

Izuku glanced down at his phone, noticing it was ringing. Hold on, he had a signal in here?

Immediately turning around, he could see their home, back in place as if it wasn't invaded.

"You should probably answer that." Paradox pointed to his phone.

Obeying the guy who just managed to repair time instantly, Izuku listened for whoever was calling. "Hello?"

"Izuku! Are you alright?!" Naomasa's voice yelled from the other side. "Your kids just showed up here so they're safe, and Eraserhead is on the way with-"

"Yes! Yes we're ok!" Izuku quickly interrupted. "Everything is fine now!"

"Oh thank All Might. As soon as your kids showed up and-no don't eat that!-well I remembered how we talked about if an emergency were to happen they would be teleported to my place if it was safe. Was it a glitch or something?"

"Well." Izuku looked back to his siblings, seeing that even though they were technically ok now they still went through a lot. "Something did happen, but it's over now. I think I should explain it in person. Can you bring the kids?"

"I don't know if I can get them to my car without being noticed."

"I'll pick you up. Just step through a dark swirling portal with them when it shows up."

"Alright, we'll be waiting. Should I call Eraserhead and tell him to stand down?"

"I think that would-wait, I have a bunch of villains in the omnitrix right now. I'll need some help with them."

Even Himiko forgot, judging by the flash of remembrance across her face.

"I'll still give him a call to give him an update. We've got someone that can help with detainment."

"Great, thanks Dad."

"Um, sure. See you soon."

"See you." Izuku ended the call, noticing his sisters grinning at him. "What?"

"You just called him Dad." Eri pointed out.

A little puzzled at why they said that, Izuku denied it. "No I didn't."

"You totally did!" Himiko laughed at him openly. "HA! Wait till we tell Mom about this!"

"Um." Remembering another thing, Izuku was more hesitant to bring up this one. "How much are we going to tell her about today?"

Throwing Himiko off, he saw how it worried both of them just as much as him.

"We'll wait for Dad to answer that." Eri decided, managing to repress some more disturbing memories as if it didn't happen. After all, she was at a nice home that was in tact. Not broken, no one here to hurt her.

No one here to hurt her.

Just as Izuku was getting back into the swing of 'normal' Professor Paradox placed a nudging hand to his shoulder. "A word please."

Trusting him completely, Izuku followed where the man leaned slightly down to be eye level with Izuku.

"Where did you find Eri?"

Remembering that place, that awful alternative, Izuku felt scared when he answered. "It was, somewhere that I never want to see again."

"What must not be." Paradox realized, much as he hoped for another answer. "Izuku, while I am happy you are reunited with your sister you need to realize there are some places that should never be sought out."

Feeling partially guilty, Izuku just nodded. "I understand."

"What frightens me is how much you don't understand." Paradox's voice lost all sense of playful joy, replaced by cold reality. "There are reasons time travelers never tread into the fixed edges of what composes reality. I know your intentions were heroic, but by entering what must not be and returning to the present, you have connected the two."

Horror dawned on Izuku, slowly looking back up to the grave face Paradox held. "But, we can avoid it right? We can avoid that future?"

"It's still possible to avoid it." Parado said with less confidence. "The less you saw, the less you learned there the better."

His city, uprooted and scorched with darkness planted in the center.

But, if you saw something that connects directly to your personal timeline-"

His home, destroyed with no signs of life.

"-then that will fix itself into the time stream as-"

A dried out, shredded blue wing with spots laying under his foot.

"no." Izuku uttered, backing away from Paradox. "No, that won't happen."

"It's now entirely possible." Paradox warned. "As time travelers, we have a duty to-"

"I'm not a time traveler!" Izuku screamed up at the man in panic. "That's your life, not mine! My future is made by the decisions I make and nothing else!"

Paradox saw it was useless to go any further, fearing what the boy might have seen. "I'm sorry."

Izuku didn't answer, wanting to escape from that horrible memory and quickly fleeing back to his home. It had his family, his very much alive family and they were safe. He would keep them safe, all of them.

"Izuku!" Paradox called out from the distance, getting the boy to give a glance over his shoulder. "Do not dwell on what you saw, otherwise it will only make things worse."

There was enough of him to realize how important Paradox's warnings were, so giving a silent nod in agreement, he went into his home with his sisters.

"What was that about?" Himiko bugged Izuku just as he dialed up his Voidrift form.

"Nothing any of you will need to worry about."

They were almost to the Midoriya home, Eijiro pulling Mina away from hitting her head from a lightpost as she kept reading from her phone.

"While parts of Japan will be temporarily reliant on other facilities, we plan on having our Hoth plant up and running within a month thanks to the volunteer crew from I-island." Mina read aloud as quickly as she could, trying to get to the juicier stuff.

"That fast?" Eijiro asked. "I'm no nuclear expert, but doesn't their kill switch mean they have to use a new reactor?"

"I think they just need to replace the fuel." Mina said. "Still crazy how much this villain almost caused a meltdown while we were taking our final."

"Yeah." Eijiro was more quiet than usual, wondering if he would even be able to stop something like that, or even live through it. "But they got the guy locked up?"

"They're figuring out how to move him out of the reactor without setting him loose."

"Hold up, they said they would get it back up and running but they haven't even checked to see if the reactor is damaged by him or not?"

"Maybe they do have a spare reactor to replace the old one." Mina shrugged, noticing a fair amount of large vehicles driving by. "Or maybe those guys are heading off to lock him up."

Maybe, they did look like those vehicles used when they needed to take a villain to Tartarus. But that many? What other dangerous villains were running around?

"Look!" Mina pointed towards the Midoriya home, noticing there was a couple of men in heavy combat armor getting into another group of prison vehicles. The two watched as the cars drove off in coordination, clearly not here for a joy ride. Instantly the two started running to the Midoriya home in fear of what might have happened.

Either the Midoriyas had been in danger, or someone had finally come for Izuku.

"IZUBRO!" Eijiro slammed the door open, seeing his best friend sitting on the couch while comforting his five kids all piled up on him. "Oh thank All Might, I thought-"

"Kirishima." Eraserhead lowered his arms, almost having attacked him on reaction. "What exactly are you doing here?"

Now seeing this was not a life or death situation, Eijiro noticed the crowd of people inside. There was Izuku's teacher Cueball, Eraserhead, Izuku's not Dad, Eri and Himiko also on the couch, and some dark skinned American.

"Wait."

Ah crap!

Mina stood in the doorway. "What is Aizawa sensei doing here, and who is…what are those?"

"Hey." Cueball nudged the shocked Izuku. "You have a memory erasing alien?"

"Why didn't you knock!" Izuku shouted towards Eijiro as he got up, some of the bluebies going over to greet the familiar face.

"I did!" Eijiro pointed towards the shattered remains of the door.

"You're supposed to knock on it not through it!"

"Oh my gooooosh!" Mina kneeled down as Rumi walked up to her, curiously tilting her head. "You are so freakishly adorable!"

"Adoble!" Rumi shouted while sticking her hands up high in the air. Mina couldn't help herself and scooped her up, laughing as her face was barraged by the fuzzy antennas.

"I'm keeping you forever! No one else can have you!" It was then that Mina was assaulted by another ball of blue crawling onto the back of her head, also dusting her with the tickling sensation. "Hahaha! Izuku, who are these little guys?!"

All the adults looked to Izuku, waiting for him to either explain, lie, or turn into a brain washing alien.

"They're.." Izuku tried to think of something, but soon all of his kids were joining in on the fun or pulling Mina further into the house. He knew Mina was a good friend, amazing to the point where she helped him even if he didn't know who she was. While he had several secrets that needed to be guarded with his life, he knew Mina would not betray his trust. "My kids."

Nearly tripping over Enji, Mina spun around while carefully tip-toeing around the various children while avoiding hurting them in her spinning confusion. "Um, come again?"

"This is why you need to listen more in class." Eraserhead cut in. "Take a seat, I guess you're a part of this now."

"Perhaps we should address the door?" Naomasa pointed to the splinters, Himiko getting up to deal with it.

"I got this." The blond stated, before letting out a green light from her palms over the scene. The shattering reversed, until the door was standing back in its place with no sign of cracks.

"When did that happen?!" Eijiro pointed towards her, closely approaching to poke her arm and see it wasn't as squishy.

"It's a long story, but I've got time powers at the moment." Himiko showed off her technique, revealing the most recent past like it was a hologram in reverse of when Eijiro busted down the door.

"TIME POWERS?!"

"It's a lot of responsibility, something that I don't even think I could handle." Izuku got up, holding out the omnitrix to her. Accepting his hand, Himiko was illuminating by a flash of light. Holding up her arm, she watched as she could shift it back into various shapes and colors.

"Yeah, responsible and me don't get along." Himiko agreed, enjoying this version of herself more.

Mina blinked over the sudden reveal that A. Himiko had time powers. B. Izuku can give time powers. C. It was confirmed these balls of blue were Izuku's kids.

"Sit down." Cueball guided Mina over to one of the seats. "There's a lot to cover, but welcome to the club."

"There's more work to be done for some of us." Agent Bubbles directed his attention to Izuku. "Like the villain currently trapped in Japan's most dependent source of energy."

Izuku's fists tightened, the boy making sure to control his temper around his family. "P'andor."

"The alien?" Eijiro asked, Mina snapping her head towards him.

"Aliens are real?!"

"Yes." Eraserhead cut off her sudden spike of excitement. "You'll get your answers if you listen."

Holding up Rumi with renewed wonder, Mina stared deeply into the pools of emerald that kind of did remind her of Izuku. Mostly that frozen mothman guy who…"Are you an alien baby?"

Rumi gave a trill, reaching out for Mina's horns that many of the people she knew had.

"Are you?" Mina looked over to Izuku. "An alien in disguise?"

"No, I can just turn into them. Speaking of which." Izuku activated the omnitrix, scrolling to find an alien that he would need for the next task at hand. "P'andor, is he still in the reactor chamber?"

"Yes." Agent Bubbles confirmed. "I know we just met, but I do need to ask you to come with me to find a way to get him out without putting the others at risk."

"If everyone else here trusts you and Nezu, then I do too."

"'Trust' isn't entirely accurate here." Eraserhead narrowed his eyes at the man in black.

"I don't need your trust." The man didn't even flinch at those red glowing eyes. "I need your cooperation."

"I'll get him out." Slamming down the dial, Izuku was encased in the brilliant green energy that altered his body to the last cell. Now standing in place, was his necrofriggian form cloaked in his own wings.

His children immediately flocked to him, wishing to find their way into their parent's wings to embrace the form that brought them into the world.

"Not now kids." He gently kept them back with an arm. "Daddy has some work to do."

"YOU'RE THE FROZEN MOTHMAN?!" Mina screamed as she jumped to her feat, being wrapped up immediately by Eraserhead's arm.

"Not, now." The man warned, releasing her back onto the couch. "If you don't keep quiet you won't get your answers."

"Ugh, I hate that name." Izuku rasped as he began following the american to the front door.

"Then what should I call you?" Mina asked, totally accepting whatever was happening.

"Big Chill."

"...I think I like the other one better."

"Follow me, and stay hidden." Agent Bubbles instructed as he opened the front door, Big Chill becoming intangible which hid himself from the naked eye.

Once she was left alone with the blubies, Mina buried her face into the tummy of one of them.

"You're taking this, rather well." Himiko kept her distance from the children, just in case they accidentally froze parts of her.

"I'm letting the cuteness overwhelm my emotions."

*click*

Inko, having returned from her daily work and chores stopped when she saw her house swarmed with guests. From Naomasa, two teachers, Eijiro, and now Mina playing with the children (Wasn't she kept out of the secret?)

If they were all here for something, there was only one question that immediately came to her mind.

"Where's Izuku?"

"GRAH!" P'andor smashed his fists against the wall, unable to force his way through the thick walls that confined him. "LET ME OUT OF HERE THIS INSTANT YOU FILTHY HUMANS!"

His power had diminished greatly, the control rods having descended to destroy the reaction. He had attempted to stop it, only to have his own body stripped of its strength. Now he was as before, trapped, weakened, and starving.

Glancing to the body in the corner, P'andor spat towards the puny man's direction. "Thieving mutant. How dare you die before I could punish you myself."

"P'andor." A familiar voice rasped, the alien turning around to see the necrofriggian stepping inside. What did gain his attention though, was the dial on his chest.

"Izuku, good timing." Grateful to have an 'ally' arrive, P'andor intended to plead his case to the boy. "These ignorant humans have locked me in here and drained my energy. I fear they might try to use me as a new powersource."

Big Chill couldn't feel any anger, too shocked at just how potentially ignorant the man was. "Are you serious?"

"Look around!" P'andor gestured to the machinery caging him. "It's one of your world's primitive nuclear reactors, and they used it just like bait for me and a trap."

Big Chill glanced down towards the fallen hero, the image burning itself into his mind.

"Ah, that one." P'andor briefly acknowledged the pro hero. "He had what was coming to him. They deprived me of my basic right to let me sustain myself! WIthout food, I will die. Release me, and I can-"

"Do you have any idea how much trouble you caused?" Snapping towards the man, P'andor was still able to confidently look him in the eyes.

"Do you know how much trouble they caused me?"

"You irradiated so many people." Izuku began to step towards the man, mist rolling off of his body. "You forced them to shut down one of Japan's most reliant sources of power. You nearly caused this entire place to meltdown and kill millions!"

"They were mutated." P'andor found some justification in his methods. "They-"

"Are PEOPLE P'andor, something I thought you were until you sold my family out!"

The cold anger was clear to P'andor, the boy was going to be difficult to reason with. "I was not aware what that man would do when-

"DO NOT TEST ME!" With his mind becoming numb with rage, Big Chill no longer was holding back the icy temper as frost began building up all around them.

P'andor could feel it biting his body, so he turned up the heat around himself to keep the temperature somewhat comfortable. "You could have helped me, but no, you just let me be trapped in that suit and abandoned on this backwater planet!"

"I GAVE YOU THE CHANCE TO LEAVE!" Throwing out one of his palms, Big Chill shot out an icy blast to encase the bottom of P'andor's body. "I WOULD HAVE HELPED YOU IF YOU JUST ASKED FOR IT! Instead, you put so many people in danger, you put my family in danger, my children in danger."

P'andor managed to melt enough of the ice to break free, only for Big Chill to bite down on the man and force him back down to the floor. "AH! You wanted us all off your planet as soon as possible, you're just a racis-GAAAHHH!"

Big Chill bit deeper into him, until P'andor managed to blast him back with what energy he could summon.

"You taste horrible." Big Chill remarked. "Still, you're not that far off from this species' natural food source."

"You, you plan on eating me?!"

"No, I just need to get the message across." Big Chill spread his wings wide, hovering above P'andor as natural instinct threatened to take over. "I offered you help, yet you went behind my back and started threatening everyone and everything I love."

Re-encased in a thick block of ice, P'andor was pushing hard to start melting himself back out. Only Izuku was right on top of him, keeping it frozen as every word spilled more chilling air over it.

"No second chances, no redemption, no hope, only vengeance."

"Go on then." P'andor threatened as he felt his heat become boiling. "Just try and kill me, you want to be a hero so bad then kill me! Kill your prisoner! That's how your heroes operate on this planet, no?! Kill anything that threatens their way of life because we're different!"

Too bad for P'andor though, he wasn't dealing with a reasonable person right now. He was dealing with a predator whose children he just endangered.

Endeavor waited outside, supervising the scene first hand despite being told many times to leave. The HPSC could make their demands over the phone or text, but none of them were willing to meet him in person to tell him to stand down.

"You aren't needed here." The American reiterated. "We have everything under control."

"And who exactly is 'we'?" The number two hero's voice echoed through the empty room that oversaw the functions of the reactor. Everyone, but this man and his unseen 'associate' were allowed to handle this. Even Colonel Rozum was issued to take his men off the property from those of higher authority than himself.

The unnamed man didn't answer, only looking through the various papers that the control room had automatically made that logged each and every detail regarding the incident.

The door opened behind them, and both were shocked to see Mrs. Waterhose with reddened skin covered in sweat making their way towards them.

"What are you doing here?" Endeavor immediately went to the woman with a hint of concern leaking through his voice. "You need to be treated heavily for the radiation you have-"

"Not, without, Backdraft." She said through tired breaths.

"I'm sorry." Agent Bubbles sincerely apologized. "But I promise once a service can be held then you may pay your respects then, but I can't guarantee it will be an open casket."

"No." Shaking her head in disagreement, she refused to leave. "I trapped him in there, I need to see what happened with my own eyes."

Before anyone could argue further, a blue figure emerged from the sealed off reactor with someone in his arms.

"STAND DOWN!" Endeavor shouted as he recognized the person immediately, flames around him burning brilliantly hot as he prepared to open fire.

"You need to stand down!" Agent Bubbles commanded the number two hero. "This man is working for me."

"B-backdraft?" Slowly approaching the infamous villain, all the heroine focused on was the fallen hero being carried.

"I'm sorry I couldn't be here sooner." Big Chill apologized to the woman, whose hands hovered just over the mask. "I know I could do something."

"Unless you're immune to radiation, I don't think anyone could have done anything." The woman was trying to be comforting, but she saw how the blue figure hung his head weighed with guilt. "Wait, you were in there with no protection, are you-"

"That's enough." Endeavor came forward, Big Chill shielding the body from the man making him more agitated. "You dare keep this hero from returning home?"

"He's still irradiated." Big Chill warned. "He needs to be cleaned before he can be viewed."

"And the villain?" Endeavor asked with very little patience, stepping back when he heard a low growl reverberate through the frozen mothman.

"I took care of it."

Pushing past the number two hero, Big Chill went up to the protective glass window that Agent Bubbles was watching from. "Where do you want me to take them?"

"The Musutafu Hospital is ready for Backdraft's arrival." The man said with a leveled tone. "We can handle P'andor later, if he is contained where I think he is."

With his back to the other heroes, one of Big Chill's antennas reached down and pointed to the omnitrix on his chest.

"Good, in that case we can keep him there until our more immediate problems are taken care of. Endeavor."

Not liking or trusting the man, Endeavor didn't respond as Agent Bubbles gave further instructions.

"Musutafu Hospital is nearly ready for radiation scrubbing. Take any heroes who have a reading higher than 500 mSv to get cleaned up there, any others with lower readings will need to arrive later but they're not a priority."

"And what of everyone else?" The man stepped up, ready to take charge and get this man out of their operation.

"They will receive their own instructions." Mr. Bubbles had no time for a challenge to his authority. "For now, follow yours."

Both Big Chill and Mr. Bubbles watched as Endeavor stomped his way out while leading Mrs. Waterhose, the heroine pausing to give one last glance to the man. "Please take care of him."

"I will." Izuku assured, waiting until they were out of earshot to talk more privately. "What else can I do to help?"

"For starters, do you have a 'friend' who can help with the more contaminated? I'm concerned that Mrs. Waterhose won't last a week."

"I can think of a few." Big Chill confirmed the help. "Though I believe I'll need a lot of clean blood to work with."

"Musutafu is already setting up a blood drive to help with the responders to this 'villain attack'. We should head there immediately, stay hidden."

Not needing another word, Izuku followed the agent out while becoming intangible to light with the man in his arms. He hoped they would get there soon, the weight of a dead hero in his arms was too heavy for him to carry alone.

The convoy made sure there was plenty of distance between other vehicles and itself. Their cargo was on a one way trip to Tartarus, a prison that no one had escaped from. While some villains may receive trials, only the worst would have their judgment carried out before an investigation could finish tallying their misdeeds.

While prepared for anyone that would attempt to free them, there has never been an incident in the past twenty years that wasn't intercepted beforehand.

"Please try to at least look alert." The driver told the man who was sleeping against the passenger window.

"Not my fault that she streams in the middle of the night."

"It's exactly your fault for staying up." Huffing over his coworker's obsession over some controversial girl who plays video games, the man kept his eyes on the road.

Just in time to notice a darkness passing over them.

Hitting on the brakes, the truck squealed as it tried to stop before it could reach the black swirling cloud.

*CLONK*

His passenger was sent head first into the dashboard, instantly waking him up into a scramble for his weapon.

"VILLAIN INTERCEPTION!" The driver grabbed the car radio and screamed into it, barely making out the tall figures that were surrounding the truck. "I REPEAT! VILLAIN INTERCEPTION WE NEED BACKUP ASAP!"

*CRUNCH*

The reinforce quirk enhanced metal was bitten into by massive maws, ripping away the armor of their vehicle. Both men tried to at least protect their own lives, but their bullets did nothing against the walking culmination of rock and pink crystals that was tearing into them.

Within the dim light of the run down building, a man circled the car as he examined it's protective plating. Arriving at the back, Tomura pointed to the door that was currently in his way.

"Nomu." He pointed forward, a kaleidoscope of colors slicing it open for him.

Stepping into the chamber that held one prisoner strapped down on his back, Tomura leaned over as he unclasped the man's face bindings. "You know, if you wanted to get back at the heroes you could have asked for help."

Nothing, no response from the empty husk that was Overhaul. No ambition, no hope was left in him. Something wasn't right, and Tomura soon saw that even his hands did not have any specialized bindings. "Ah, I see you met that little brat."

That was enough to spark consciousness into the former leader of the remnants of the Yakuza, Overhaul glancing down to see he was being released.

"We have so much to talk about, especially about how you found where he lived."

Overhaul recalled a brief conversation he had with the traitor, or the one who was at least giving him the location of Eri. There was a warning, about a boy who was more than he seemed. He had his men look into the family she was staying at, the Midoriya family. The only boy there, was "Izuku Midoriya."

"Someone should play trivia games." Tomura commented as he made his way to the legs. "So, what do you know about him that I don't?"

Wasn't he just a quirkless kid with a PQE?

No….he was that child. The one that stole Eri from the first place and somehow knocked him unconscious.

"Who is he?" Overhaul realized his failed oversight, immediately dismissing the boy once it was mentioned he was quirkless.

"He wasn't your target?" Tomura stopped, rethinking about his choice to make this man an ally. "So who was?"

It didn't matter anymore, without his quirk he couldn't use Eri to reproduce the-

Tomura gripped Overhaul's throat, bringing him up to his face as the leader of the league of villains was getting frustrated. "What were you after that was more important than that boy?"

OK FOLKS! We are finishing up the P'andor/Overhaul/Final Exam arc with only a few scenes of closure before we move onto the next big arc. Trust me, they're only going to get bigger and bigger. Speaking of big, we are about to come to two different arcs and I wasn't sure which to do first.

Either we can go right into the whole situation revolving around Itsuka's Dad, or we can do my own little spin on the I-island events.

Which should we do next?

Also, what kind of random interactions or scenes do you guys want to see? We need to have a little bit of slice of life to give our characters a break.

HeartGemHolder: You're right, there are only three arcs left in the story so things are lining up into place for the finale.

Last Primaris: Spoilers! But I do appreciate your respects to Bakdraft

Harleking31: Yep, we're approaching it very fast. Let's see what the future holds.

Omnitrickery: Technically yes, but he would need a ton of practice to get to be Overhaul's level.

Guest: I do love it when readers speculate

leoromerocalvo: You're right, it's just been so long since I wrote that it completely slipped my mind. I fixed it.

Chronosign: Izuku will not participate in Heroes United.

Scoutmain91: Yes, blubies are safe.

Stormgate: He already seems to have enhanced strength and smell, so Wildmutt mixed in might take his sight.

AnimeFan13579: Even though Midnight is playful, I'm sure she has boundaries (Until she gives into temptation). As for Yakuza, they didn't even have scuba gear to use.

Whywouldidothat2230: I'm glad you liked my version of NRG. He's one of my favorites, and possibly what I would put in my own ten roster.
