Master Control
Chapter 50
"Ahhhh." All Might found himself enjoying the brisk morning ride on the segway, watching as his pupil continued to jog in front of him. "Such a wonderful summer morning. Keep running young Kendo! You need to build up your stamina to the point where you can handle a day full of villainy!"
Her only response was to give a thumbs up, no using her quirk in any way to enhance her performance. The power of One for All could only work well if the vessel holding it was in its best state.
Speaking of which, his body wasn't doing that well. Yes he could do some light exercises, but using One for All counted as its own exercise as even just letting it flow through him was taxing. Hmmm, perhaps he would need to visit David again soon to get a more detailed check up and see how much time he had left.
Feeling the silent buzz of his phone, All Might held it up to see it was his pall Naomasa calling. "Hello! How goes everything?"
"Good, just moved the Midoriya's into their new place."
"That family sure goes through a lot doesn't it?"
"Yeah, not just Izuku. All of those kids have their own demons to face. But anyways I wanted to call and see how you were doing with your successor."
"Doing great! In fact, she's been keeping me entertained for the last hour on my favorite morning walk path. Say hello!"
"Hello!" Slowing down her pace, Itsuka kept her jog to match All Might's electric ride as the man put the phone on speaker for them. "Your Izuku's not Dad right?"
All Might laughed as he could tell how flustered the man was on the other side. "She's got a point! How is progress with your courting of the lady?"
"None of your business, but I have something that is."
"Oh?" Noting how serious the man sounded, All Might slowed the segway down near to a bench to allow his pupil a short break. "What is it?"
"Well, on my search for Him, I've been running a lot of backgrounds on plenty of suspicious people lately. Eventually I started looking towards those closest to us in case he was watching us in plain sight."
"Good thinking." All Might affirmed as he sat down next to his student. "Anyone stand out?"
"Well, it revolves around Kendo's family."
All Might paused, looking over to the girl who didn't seem all that surprised. "Do you want to hear this?"
"I think I might know who you started looking into." Itsuka wasn't entirely comfortable with the subject, but knew it would have to come up sooner or later. "My Dad right?"
"Yes, there's a gaping hole in his records. They don't exist."
"There's a reason for that." She justified it, only making them grow more concerned and curious.
"Will you tell us?"
"It's.." She should really have a talk with her Dad about this. "I'd need to ask him first."
"Kendo, I don't mean to sound rude but neither of us have met him and it's very concerning how I don't have anything on him. Not even a receipt."
"I do trust you Kendo." All Might assured her, approaching this cautiously. "But, you did mention before he only showed up recently like he did in photos you have before you were born. We don't know what that man looks like now, and his timing is incredibly suspicious."
"Toshi has a point, HE would have been informed of any persons of interest at USJ, and there is plenty of coverage of your abilities from the sports festival. It wouldn't be hard for him to find a quirk like yours, locate a photo and-"
"If you have any trust in me-" Itsuka cut them off, a little agitated but could see where they're coming from. Too bad she couldn't show them. "-then trust me when I say this, my Dad is not who you think he is."
"Then who is he?" All Might asked with a little more force than he expected. "Who exactly is your father?"
"That's, a really big secret. Bigger than anything you guys have told me, bigger than Izuku's!"
"I really doubt that."
"It's as big as, finding out if there is an afterlife or not." Itsuka blurted it out, hoping that statement would keep them from watching her father.
"Bigger than finding out if magic is real or not?"
"Magic isn't real." Itsuka was quick to answer that. "But yeah, I'd say it's a bigger secret than that."
"Can we at least meet him?" All Might pleaded, trying to go about this in a respectful way. "Just so I can be sure and we can continue looking other places for All for One."
Itsuka considered it. She could give her Dad a heads up, and he could say if he wanted to tell them or not. There didn't seem to be any flaws with the plan, and as long as he didn't happen to actually look like All for One things should go well. "Alright yeah, I think I can make that happen."
"Thank you Kendo. Let us know when and-oh, sorry I'll be back to bed soon."
Oh WOAH WHAT?!
"Naomasa?" All Might asked. "Who are you talking to-"
*click*
"He….hung up." The number one hero, was left staring at his phone as a miracle just occurred. "Good for him."
"So." Itsuka, getting up and running in place to reenergize herself, looked down to the frail man on the bench. "I guess the Midoriyas are going to be the Tsukauchis?"
"HAHAHAH!" Exploding into his muscular form, All Might easily hefted his segway under his arm. "Maybe not so soon, but I should start drafting a best man speech!"
"Bold of you to assume you'd be the best man."
"Are you saying he would pass up the chance to have All Might attend the wedding for his fanboy son?"
"...Good point."
Now all All Might had to do was make sure his body could last to the wedding. That was a good goal to have.
Izuku, with more time to spare with his family was supervising his children play in the living room with the television on in the background. From a fake kitchen that was safe to play with, to an assortment of wooden train tracks that could be pierced together in multiple ways.
"Chu chu." Keigo played with one of the trains, ramming it into a small bridge as Rumi tried to set up another track.
Enji and Shinji were wrestling with foam weapons, smacking each other with some concerning force.
And Tensei, who was cuddled up in Mina's arms.
"Ahhhhh~" The pinkette could get used to a life like this. "That's it, when I'm a hero I'm volunteering to visit daycares whenever I can."
"Until they sneeze on you." Eijiro chuckled, just as Tensei sneezed a bit of ice onto Mina's lap.
"I can live with this." Mina quickly broke it off, glad that her arm wasn't covered in boogers. "Izuku, let me adopt one pleeeeeeaaaaase?"
"No." He refused for the twelfth time today. "Enji, no freeze breath here."
"Sowy." The child bonked his brother on the head with the equivalent of a foam noodle.
"So." Eijiro glanced out the living room door of glass, seeing a short backyard that met up with the edge of the cliff. "When do we get to see the secret base under your house?"
"It's empty right now." Izuku pointed out as he was handed a toy train by Keigo. "It's nothing but tons of halls and rooms with nothing in them."
"Doesn't Aizawa sensei plan on moving into one of the rooms?" Mina pointed out, gently petting the ball of blue in her lap.
"Eventually." Izuku recalled that random bit of information. "I think by the end of the school year, Nezu will have a lot of heroes and agents lined up that can be trusted with the alien secret that will use the base as our main facility for managing alien encounters."
"That includes prisoners?" Eijiro asked.
"Yep. We actually already have one."
"What?!" Mina nearly startled Tensei awake, the girl quickly shushing him back into his dreams. "Who?"
"He's our power source." Izuku shared, the others taking a moment to realize who Izuku was talking about.
"P'andor?"
"P'andor."
"Hey Izuku!" Himiko stretched her head out of her room to him. "Since Shoto already knows you can transform, can't we let him in on the rest of the secret?"
"No way!" Mina began to laugh the longer she thought about it. "It's way funnier hearing his conspiracy theories of government experimentation!"
"Ok yeah." Himiko smiled over the dumbfounded things the boy could come up with. "But would it be ok if I invited him over here and there? He doesn't have anything to really play on at home."
"Only if you're with him." Izuku thought it would be ok. "I can add him to a visitors section on the cloaking field. Just run it by Naomasa first before you actually do."
"Ok. Oh hey, where's Eri?"
"Where do you think?"
"Fishing?"
"Fishing."
"Yo bro?" Eijiro asked his best friend since forever. "Why don't we make a cool underwater dome or something that lets us see into the ocean?"
"Oh yes!" Mina quickly agreed. "That would be awesome!"
"There's already one that's part of the base."
"Seriously?!" Eijiro got up, pumped to check it out. "Let's go right now!"
"Incoming Transmission." Izuku held up a finger to his friends, answering the call and seeing a hologram of himself. "Hey me."
"Hi! Just wanted to show you guys Eri's recent catch."
"It's HUUUUGE!" Eri's voice came over the omnitrix.
"We were actually about to head down." Izuku mentioned, getting up and going over to the door. "One of me, or I will see you soon."
"Roger that!"
With the call ended, Izuku noticed the odd expression Mina had. "I still think that's so weird out of everything I've learned."
"What?"
"You just casually talking to yourself." She tried getting up, but Tensei wouldn't budge from his spot. "Looks like I'm trapped."
"Here." The Izuku before them split into two, one of them sitting next to Mina and rolling Tensei onto his own lap. "There, now you can go down and meet up with Eri. I'll stay here with the kids."
"And I'll show you the way." The other Izuku finished, bringing them to one of the house doors. "Mei really went overboard with the secret doors and passageways."
Watching his friends go with, himself, Izuku just hung around the house as his kids managed to entertain themselves. The tv went on, showing all the latest in hero news, which just happened to be featuring a lot of his transformations.
Frankenstrike helping to jumpstart someone's car, Cannonbolt rolling a person out from an explosion, Lodestar helping someone trapped in an elevator, Chamalien getting the drop on a villain to free a hostage, even Gutrot was useful in cleaning up the air around a chemical spill.
Though despite his good deeds, some people really didn't like how he didn't stay on camera for long or had identities that couldn't be looked up.
"Will Harangue here on Harangue Nation, to look more in depth on the menace these criminals pose ignoring the hero system that has been built up by generations of honorable men and women! We've gathered a couple of hard working and honest professional heroes to talk about just what kind of threat this brings to our society and how it could bring our youth to believe vigilantism is ok."
While Izuku wasn't enjoying the clear bias this man held, he was grateful to see that the heroes selected for this were ones he respected or knew himself.
Gang Orca, Ms. Joke, Ragdoll, and even Ingenium. He couldn't guess the opinion of all the ones there, but he felt at least Gang Orca would help defend the reputation he was making.
"Sorry I'm late!" Cueball quickly found the last empty seat.
Welp, there goes his reputation.
Izuku's omnitrix flashed, the boy having received a text straight to the device. Reaching his arm over Tensei, he saw Naomsasa sent a short message to everyone on the alien club list.
I found him
"So, you want me to meet with this hero that has been teaching you?" The man who had changed Itsuka's entire world asked from his seat on the couch with his wife.
"Yes." Itsuka paced back and forth, All Might and a friend or two about to arrive in just a few minutes. "They noticed that you didn't technically exist on Earth, and they just wanted to make sure you weren't someone untrustworthy."
"It sounds like they're spying on you." Her mother confessed, but thank goodness Dad was so reasonable.
"I think it's a reasonable request." Gently kissing his wife's cheek, he got up and dusted off his suit. Not that there ever was any on it. "Anything special I should know about them?"
"Um, well." Itsuka scratched the back of her head, unsure how her parents would react. "All Might will be here and-"
"All Might?!" Standing up from the news, Mrs. Kendo immediately rushed to make sure every inch of their house was spotless.
"Which one is that again?" Her father asked.
"The number one hero." Trying not to make it a big deal, Itsuka just watched him nod with mild interest.
"Ok, that's to be expected."
"What?"
"That my daughter would catch the attention of this world's number one defender." He sweetly complimented, looking out towards the door and narrowing his eyes. "I hope it's not the frail looking one."
Itsuka first questioned how her father could immediately tell, but who knows, maybe he also knows how to see through walls. In that case, it meant they were just about to come to their home.
"Ok ok." Taking a deep breath, Itsuka prepared herself for the trading of secrets. "Dad, I really trust these guys, and they really trust me. I, was hoping that if you told them our secret, that it would help my training more and then I could share their secret with you."
"Their secret?" He paused, silently contemplating his options. "Itsuka, what have they been telling you-"
*knock knock*
With a steady shrug and a panicked mother in the background trying to gather snacks together, Itsuka moved first and thought second. "That's them."
Opening the door for their guests, Itsuka was greeted by Gran Torino, Naomasa, Sir Nighteye surprisingly, and All Might bringing up the rear fully muscled up. Only the number one hero kept a smile on his face, the others very cautious as Itsuka moved out of the doorway.
"Please, come in." She offered, all of them taking her up on it.
"I thought we had the wrong place for a second." Gran Torino looked around, seeing all the exquisite furniture and well kept apartment. "Your landlord doesn't even do half as good a job taking care of the outside."
"Good to meet you all." Moving to greet the men, Mr. and Mrs. Kendo stood side by side as Itsuka's father spoke. "I'm Itsuka's father, Nolan. And this is my wife, Debii."
"I-it's an honor to meet you All Might." She bowed deeply, rushing off to grab the snacks from the kitchen. "Please, feel free to relax and have a seat. Would anyone like some tea?"
"That sounds lovely." Nighteye was eyeing the man up and down, finding no immediate signs of the man being a secret supervillain. "So, from what I understand you recently returned from a business trip?"
"Yes." Taking a seat and motioning for the others to do the same, Itsuka's father hardly felt this would be an issue. "I've been away for a long time, longer than I expected but my work happened to bring me back here."
The men made subtle glances to Naomasa, who seemed personally disturbed.
"So." Gran Torino bluntly started. "What do you do for work?"
"You'd find it hard to believe, but at the moment my job involves DNA preservation."
It took a second for Itsuka to realize what he meant, in more ways than one.
"But I have to ask." Leaning forward in his seat, Nolan narrowed his gaze at the humans. "What plans do you have with my daughter?"
"To make her the best hero she can be." All Might answered easily enough. "I even see your daughter becoming the number one hero someday soon."
"T-thank you so much!" Bringing the tray of drinks with a side of snacks to the men, Debii took her seat beside her husband. "That means a lot coming from you."
"I meant every word." All Might seemed to relax slightly with the woman's appearance.
"You mean, she would be responsible for the hero activities of the world?" Nolan guessed, Nighteye answering the question.
"It's a very large responsibility. One she was entrusted to hold."
Humming in thought, he allowed the humans to continue their questions.
"What do you think?" Grabbing a piece of the small selection of sweets, Gran Torino popped one into his mouth as he never let his eyes off the man. "About your daughter becoming a hero?"
"I think she can do more than any of you realize." Sitting back up straight, Itsuka saw a new side to her father that seemed to carry the authority he always talked about having. "While I'm aware you have chosen her to be your next idol for the masses, she has a more important role."
"And what's that?" Leaning slightly forward, Naomasa didn't give the man a moment to waste.
Turning to his daughter, she gave him a nod, hoping to get everything out in the open before anything could be misinterpreted.
"Tell me, do any of you believe in life beyond your world?"
"...was that an attempt at humor?" Nighteye had to ask, Gran Torino and All Might also thrown off from the question.
"No, it's entirely relevant." Nolan assured them. "You see, my daughter isn't just going to be caring for this planet, but many others. While her test results may come across as human, she is my daughter, and has a right to the stars themselves."
"You being serious?" Gran Torino was baffled by the man's lunacy, unsure what the redhead saw in him.
"Deadly."
"Excuse us a moment." All Might got up with the others, the men going over to the balcony to talk things over in a slightly more private setting. Naomasa though, spared a final question towards the daughter.
"Is what he saying true? Are you the daughter of an alien?"
"I know it's hard to believe." Itsuka began. "But, it's true. I've seen it for myself."
Truth.
That was what he needed, Naomasa going out with the others to relay the same.
"I can't believe this." Gran Torino started in a huff. "To think I got all worked up about to meet the worst man alive, only to find out it's some lunatic."
"I'll admit." Sir Nighteye let his shoulders relax from the tension. "I was expecting a little more danger here hearing you had a potential lead for All for One. What do you think All Might? Could that really be him?"
"...no." All Might answered with honesty. "That man is not the same, but, there's something similar about the two."
"Ah." Gran Torino caught on to what the hero was saying. "I'm not the only one getting mixed signals from this guy."
"He's not All for One, that we can agree on." Nighteye finalized their immediate worry. "Yet are we sure we can trust him?"
"What do you think Naomasa?" All Might asked his close friend, who had yet to say a word. "Do we even need to ask at this point if he really is All for One?"
Truth, at least from the mother and the daughter. The father though, no matter what that man said Naomasa's quirk was having issues. But, if what he has said so far is true, and the other members of his family agree, he knew better than to dismiss it.
"Stay on your toes." Naomasa brough this hand to the door. "Keep them occupied, I'm going to do a little digging."
Leading them back inside, he put on his most unthreatening face as he dared ask. "May I use your restroom?"
"Yes of course!" Getting up, Mrs. Kendo directed the man to where he could relieve himself. "Right this way."
"Thank you." He followed her to the small room, moving inside as he watched for her to turn her back. Once she did, he stepped out and closed the door behind himself, moving to other parts of the house to investigate.
"So, aliens huh?" All Might was extremely skeptical, but he only listened because Itsuka seemed to treat it seriously. "What kind?"
"Energy beings." Pointing between himself and Itsuka. "The last of our kind. Wiped out by other races seeking to use our powers for their own wars."
"This sounds like a show I watched once as a boy." Gran Torino made his disbelief known.
"Yes." Nolan wasn't surprised by that. "You humans do have an unhealthy obsession creating as many stories as possible to entertain yourselves with."
"How can we know?" Nighteye approached more logically. "That you really are an alien?"
"I don't suppose you'd have the time for a trip to another planet?" Nolan smiled smugly, seeing as how none of them took him up on his offer. "Thought not."
"How come you look human then?" All Might pointed out. "And how come our school nurse didn't notice anything that would separate her from a human?"
"Oh this?" Nolan gestured over his own body. "This is just something I made to blend in. Energy beings such as myself shed the bodies we were born into once we mature enough to fully use our strength. It takes about two hundred years to learn how to make new bodies for us to temporarily inhabit."
"What?" Itsuka stared at her father, now just hearing this for the first time. "You mean, I'll lose my body?"
"Well yes." He said as a simple fact. "You're actually quite close too. Just a little extra push with your powers and you'll be free of your skin."
Gran Torino kept his eye on the man as he leaned over to All Might to whisper in his ear. "Well that wasn't disturbing at all."
Looking down at her hands, the calluses she made training with friends, the muscles she spent years developing with her teacher, all of that would be gone? "Can't, can't I keep my body?"
"Oh sweetie." The man came over to give his daughter a hug. "I felt the same, but trust me, anything that's worth living for requires some sacrifice. It's all part of growing up."
"But I'm not grown up!" Clutching her arms around herself, Itsuka was desperately clinging to the life she had. "I'm a teenage girl, who wants to go hang out with friends, go on dates, and-"
"You can do all of that without this shell holding you back." Nolan tried to reason with her. "You have such a huge responsibility to our race, and I've spent so many centuries trying to find a way to bring them into the universe again."
"But what about my humanity?!" Itsuka cried out. "Am I supposed to just abandon that?!"
He just held his daughter tighter, knowing how emotionally attached these humans could get to things, especially children.
"Ahem." All Might began. "Excuse me, I hate to wedge myself into family affairs, but from an outsider perspective and a fellow human, I would have to agree with young Kendo here."
Not pleased with the man interrupting their bonding, Nolan decided he would try to still stay on his daughter's good side. "Yes, I suppose you would."
"How about some evidence?!" As the impatient old man he was, Gran Torino hopped off the couch and pointed his cane right at the man."All I see is someone making his own daughter freak out over things that don't even exist!"
"Hmmm." Fine, if his daughter really wanted these people to know he would show them. "Fine, follow me. I'll start from the beginning and show you enough that you'll believe how important this is."
Moving into the parent's bedroom, Naomsasa flipped through the various photos stored underneath the bed. He confirmed this man had visited before, looking just as he did now, disappeared before Debii showed signs of pregnancy, and reappeared back into Itsuka's life after the sports festival.
So far, he had nothing against the man and nothing for him being an alien. But his quirk didn't work right with him, but something in his gut kept telling him to look deeper.
Moving onto the closet he shifted through the clothes, only seeing those for Mrs. Kendo, none for the man. Besides pictures and meeting him in person, there was no evidence suggesting he even existed.
"Where am I not looking?"
When in doubt, don't look for something hidden.
Taking another glance around the room, there was something resting on the dresser that didn't seem like your typical jewelry. It was a dark blue gem, with no frame to house it and resting front and center of some of the miscellaneous items.
Picking it up, he could feel a strange warmth emanating from it. Taking a closer look, he could see what almost looked like stars zipping about inside of it in circuit like patterns. Either this was some new trinket from I-island, or this was the kind of proof of him being an alien he looked for.
Hearing footsteps starting to approach, the detective was quick to place it down as it was and-
*Blip*
His finger just glided over it, somehow activating the device. Holograms projected from the small jewel, several images stripped from the internet with many notes written beside them in an unknown language.
Widening his eyes in horror, he saw Izuku's various transformations all on the many hovering screens, all of them focused on the omnitrix. It was more than that, there were notes to the side that had interstellar maps, species lines up beside Izuku's aliens that were similar but not exact.
One image stuck out, one Izuku had shown him before.
At the back of the notes, at the beginning of this investigation, was Esta.
"It's rude to mess with someone else's belongings you know."
Pulled out from the landscape of information, Naomasa turned around to see Nolan behind him with everyone else entering the room.
"What is this?" The detective demanded, needing the truth now.
"The reason I came to Earth." Stepping forward, the alien plucked the gem from its spot and showed it to everyone, the digital notes following with it. "There is a powerful device on this planet, one that if in the wrong hands could spell disaster for humanity or any other species. It stores the genetic code of several species, and is capable of transforming the user into any of them. I was thrown off by their use of species not native to regions of space I'm familiar with, but upon closer investigation of this symbol it became clear that these recent heroes with heavy mutations are in fact aliens."
"It's an alien device?" Nighteye, keeping an arms length from the subject gently probed the man on what he knew.
"Yes, it's called the omnitrix."
That settled it, All Might, Gran Torino, and Nighteye all knew too well what the name belonged to, and who had it.
"How do you know it's real?" Naomasa tried to find a way to deconstruct this, to bring the man back two steps so his team could get three.
"In a way, I don't." The man confessed. "But there are enough rumors through the galaxy to support it, and judging by how you never see more than one alien like species with this symbol at a time it's safe to say whoever has it came into possession of it recently. This is the first case here."
Pulling up video coverage of Big Chill, at the time regarded as Frozen Mothman, Nolan continued.
"Clearly, they had little experience and were overcome by natural instinct, but they've learned, adapted, and as you've seen with even a little practice they are more powerful than many of your top heroes. I imagine even you would have a hard time with some of these All Might."
"I'd take that challenge." All Might didn't fully believe it, but the boy did express wanting to be a hero, growing up quirkless, and coming into contact with a device that could grant him powerful transformations. He didn't doubt his heart, but he was going about it in the wrong way.
"All of those new heroes-" Itsuka entered the center of the images, overwhelmed by the news and the crushing revelations dumped on her, let it slip. "Are Izuku?"
The images stopped, sucked back into the device as Itsuka's father looked down on his daughter with a coldness she didn't recognize. "You knew?"
She saw her mistake, Itsuka having kept the secret her father was after for his whole time here on Earth. "D-don't worry! He's a good person who only used it for-"
"You kept it from me." The man's skin seemed to glow underneath with an eerie blue light, his whole frame shaking as he clutched his fists. "You hold onto your humanity, keep secrets with these heroes away from me, after I told you how important all of this was, and you just want to throw away every chance there is of saving my people?"
"No!" Itsuka was quick to try and explain things. "Please, they're all good people, and I trust them with my life! Izuku has saved my classmates, All Might saved my life! They don't know how important this is to you!"
He seemed to calm down, his palms opening back up and his eyes taking in the sight of his only child. Placing a hand on her cheek, he rubbed the smooth skin along her face. "You love humanity, so much don't you?"
"Yes." Itsuka held his hand, her mother soon coming to embrace them both in a hug.
"We know how you love your race." Debii softly rubbed her hands along their backs. "And we'd be happy to have you be part of ours."
The moment was touching, heartwarming, even if some of them still didn't believe in life beyond. With a pained sigh, Nolan squeezed his wife and daughter tightly like it was the only time he'd ever get with them. "Oh mr dear, dear family. I wish it didn't have to come to this."
*SPLAT*
Itsuka felt a pressure vanish from around her, replaced by a sticky, warm wetness drenching her from head to toe. The taste and smell of iron assaulted her senses, the teen slowly lifting her hand to see if drenched in a crimson color.
Everyone, was left in stunned silent at the sudden display, none of it registering until the daughter saw her mother's clothes laying in a pool of blood.
"M-mom?"
*KABOOM*
A punch that could make demigods bleed cracked out towards the man, the air snapping from its force and destroying the walls in its way.
"YOU BASTARD!" All Might stood where the man once was, a scowl etched into his chiseled face.
"Mom?" Itsuka's voice cracked out, the girl's shaking hands trembling as they went down to clutch the clothes that were just holding the woman who raised her despite her weak health.
"I should have used my quirk." Nighteye chastised himself. "I could have seen this and-"
"Done nothing." Naomasa snapped at the man. "Besides, we were cautious of All for One. A handshake would have been the worst move."
"Hey." Gran Torino, showing what little compassion he had left for kids, gently nudged the girl. "Let's leave this place."
A shimmering blue light blinded everyone, their minds wracked with a high pitched ringing as they could barely make sense of the world. Itsuka was first to find her eyes starting to blink away the blindness, and what she saw was something many learned to fear.
A man with a body of a void, burning hot blue hair rising from atop his head into a crown of light resting around it. Finally, his eyes that held such power a single gaze could turn someone's soul to ash. With a hint of regret, he held Itsuka by the throat as she held her forward to the ruble before her. "I tried, I really tried to ease you into this. But you're too attached to the smaller things in life. You can't let go of your humanity, so I'm going to take it away. And to get the point across-"
It wasn't just the apartment she grew up in shattered beyond recognition, it wasn't just the whole building cushing its residents into sacks of red, it was the whole block wiped out alongside every person in it.
Red, there was so much red.
"-I'm going to make sure you know you'll have nothing left to come back to here."
So it begins.
All the build up that has been happening ever since Izuku discovered he could transform and the destruction of the Kraaho homeworld, has been leading to this. The next chapter is going to be very brutal, so prepare yourselves for that.
How many of you saw this from the beginning? How many of you believed Itsuka's Dad really was here to help? How many held out hope when he took his family into his arms that he wouldn't do anything drastic?

I do like your idea about how that particular mastermind would use the omnitrix though. I'm not aware of that crossover, so maybe I'll have to look into it.
Omnitrickery: Nothing will stop her madness.
Harleking31: It's possible.
Colossus Bridger: Yeah, it's just harder to get into the flow of slice of life when there is so much plot coming together. I'm sure it's strange seeing this story transition from so little action to suddenly Izuku is fighting things left and right.
As for coping with powers, what sort of interactions can you think of? I'd be happy to write some more.
HeartGemHolder: Yeah, maybe I'll actually do something about Mineta. I've sort of kept him on the backburner this whole time I forgot about him.
I'm actually not sure if I'll get around to splicing other one b students, given how unique their powers are and how there's not many aliens that share clear similarities.
Mashot Tito: Time travel rules are pretty complicated, no matter who is trying to write them.
1. Yep, we got ourselves a peek into Himiko's darker side that never truly left her. While she didn't kill, some of those guys won't be walking for a while.
2. I do have plans for Aoyama's traitor side of things.
3. Can never get enough of the blubies.
I think it's a little unrealistic to expect Izuku to save everyone, even with the powers he has he can only do so much. I'm also not allowing him to resurrect people, then every other death will no longer weigh as hard on him.
Topdog: Probably not, given how it's a straight up alien blorp.
Guest: I don't think this comment clarified things at all.
