Chapter 53

*Clickclackclickclack*

A multicolored wall began to build itself up, splitting itself into several sections before a roof was fitted upon the top of it. The couple outside watched in fascination as a temporary home was built in a matter of seconds.

Splitting himself off from the disposable parts of his body, the alien hero composed of organic lego bricks, Bloxx, had just finished what he could only guess was his fifth hundred house for someone. If he could sweat from a hard day's work he would. But it was never enough.

"Can I help you move anything inside?" Izuku in his alien form offered.

"You've helped plenty." The tall man with white disheveled hair and a goatee said, drabbed in a dirty coat that covered the tailored dress clothes underneath. The most noticeable thing was the dark eyeshadow that was a mess around his eyes. "Come Manami, let's begin unpacking in our various…items."

"Yes Gen-uh, Danjuro!" The smaller, child height but matured young woman with incredibly long raspberry pink hair that desperately needed a brush tied up in a quick ponytail. Her sunglasses did nothing to hide the tired dark rings around her wide pink eyes with purple rings inside of them.

Scratching his head, Izuku could have sworn he met them somewhere before, or at least seen them.

Who knows, maybe they were one of the many he had helped in recent days.

"Excuse me sir!"

Turning back around, he could see the woman was peeking out of the blocky doorway. "Will we have, plumbing?"

"Oh right." Getting down to her level, he quickly pulled out one of the quick hand out maps available. "There's a school nearby where you can schedule to use their lockerroom to wash up, and there's water jugs available to take back. I haven't heard word yet on if they decided to make these block houses more long term solutions or not. But rebuilding is going faster than expected. Hopefully we'll get everyone back into real homes before the start of winter."

"Thank you!" She bowed deeply. "You seem like a good hero, despite what the forums have been saying about your group lately."

Then she immediately closed the door, Izuku left wondering just what she meant about those 'forums'.

"Bloxx." Nezu's voice came over the omnitrix. "Do you copy?"

Quickly elongating his arms to latch onto a rooftop, Izuku swung himself up to it before double checking his surroundings and tapping the faceplate of the device. "I copy. I'm alone."

"UA has finished all its preparations for the campus to be used as a shelter. Word is now being sent out to all staff and student families first to move in this week if they so choose."

"Understood, thanks for keeping me updated."

"It is my pleasure. You have made these disaster relief initiatives much easier with your various forms. We're projecting by the end of the month a seventy five percent recovery. Thank you for your hard work."

"I'm happy to help."

"But don't work too hard, I've noticed you haven't taken your mandatory breaks today."

Glancing around, Izuku quickly spotted a street camera that was pointed right at him. "Have you been watching me this whole time?"

"I just used the auto monitoring program you devised when you built our new facility. I just tweaked it to notify me when you haven't turned human in over three hours, or haven't sat down, or consumed any water or nutrients, or-"

"I get it." Not entirely surprised by Nezu's stalker tendencies after working closer with the mammal, Izuku caved in before he would be removed from community service for the day…again. "I'll get something to eat, and then-"

"You'll have a wonderful time resting at home. I'll see you tomorrow for the next assignment."

The call ended, Izuku's shoulders slouching as he grumpily began extending his limbs to let him walk a hundred feet in one step towards home. Seriously, he could be doing so much more right now. The only bright side to this was that he got to see his family.

Mrs. Waterhose alongside Mandalay, in their civilian attire as Mrs. Izumi and Shino Sosaki were packed and ready to spend a nice relaxing time at a nearby reservoir next to the Wild Wild Pussycat's mountain rescue base. Picnic blankets, baskets of food, nice clothes, sunglasses, sandals, and wide hats to really sell their 'Screw off I'm here to enjoy myself' look.

Only when they arrived, they weren't sure how well they would be able to enjoy themselves.

"This place looks.." Mrs. Izumi tried to find the right words for it.

"Filthy." Sosaji finished, daring to get closer to the water. "Ugh, what is that smell? It almost looks like someone dumped a bunch of grease and oil into-

Bare feet could be heard rushing across the wooden boat dock, the two women looking over and seeing Kota in his swim trunks already rushing forward.

"No wait Kota-"

*SPLOOSH*

Too late, he was already in the water. The light reflecting off of it almost seemed to flash blue in her sight. That only made her more concerned with what her son might be swimming in.

But when they saw a large boat parked nearby with a hazmat symbol on it, they quickly deduced what might be happening.

"Kota!" His mother called out as she hoped he could hear her. "I don't think this water is very clean! Let's get you washed up before you accidentally swallow any of it!"

"Excuse me." A man in a diving suit approached with two others behind him, carrying long boxes with the same symbol marked on the side. "But this area is being closed down for cleaning. We believe there was some illegal dumping here."

"Seriously?" Letting out a tired grunt from hauling all of the stuff over here, Sosaki was irritated from their whole planned out day ruined. "And how come the heroes weren't notified about this?"

"The line to connect to heroes about non emergencies isn't active with the whole, HPSC being blown apart and all." Taking off his mask, the man with very short red hair and a scruffy beard on his chin looked them in the eyes to explain. "It's alright, we'll have this done by the end of the week."

"Let me just get my son." Mrs. Izumi let them know. "He already jumped in, but as soon as-"

*SPLOOSH*

The men all turned towards the splash, two of them already opening the boxes to grab its contents while their spokesperson was grinning with greed towards their target.

A shadow passed over them, Sosaki briefly looked around to see just what could have caused it.

*BWOOSH*

The corner of her eyes barely caught a flash of red, Kota stumbling out of the bushes covered in mud with that strange watch he found on his wrist having a red symbol instead of a blue one. He never said where he got it, but since the mountains hadn't officially opened up for the summer it was probably some knick knack someone left behind long ago that he found.

"Kota!" His mother noticed his dirty and delirious state as he was shaking the water out of his ears. "You need to look first before you leap, these men are here to clean up the water."

"Clean it?!" He was on edge with his heart hammering like he just sprinted. "The water isn't the issue here!"

"Don't worry kid." The man came up to assure the boy in person. "We'll make sure you can come swimming here soon. Just give us some time to filter this place out."

Kota's eyes immediately narrowed, distrusting of the man on instinct but soon found justification when he saw what the others were carrying. "You plan on cleaning with harpoons?"

He didn't answer, just turning back to his men and pointing to where they saw the splash while getting on his radio. Kota never left his gaze off them, noticing that these guys had some big equipment on their hazmat boat and none of it looked fit for toxic spills.

"Come on." Sosaki began to turn him away from the scene. "We'll come back another time. Let's get you in a shower though, you stink little bud."

Something else was stinking, and it wasn't him.

*sniff sniff*

Ok, maybe some of it was him.

"WAAAAHHHH!"

Now that he was home, he was starting to wish he didn't overdo it. Now standing in the midst of a warzone of ice mixed with crystals, Izuku was having a hard time relaxing as Nezu intended. Putting his biker jacket with the ten patch on the coat rack, he looked around to fully assess the situation.

Shinji was crying as he was pointing towards Enji, who was currently smacking Keigo on the head with his open palm. Rumi and Tensei were tussling, more aggressively as they pulled at each other's sensitive wings and antennas while intangible.

Mina was there, trying to calm Shinji down as Eri was trying to grab the two that were phasing between walls. Finally his mother was trying to scold Enji, but he would just become intangible when she tried to physically intervene.

"Oh please stop crying, I'm sure he didn't mean to hit you that hard!" The pink skin girl did her best to attempt to calm him down, but he only cried harder when nothing was being done.

"Just get-Dang it!" Eri tried chasing the bundle of angry blue, only once they went through a wall she would have to run around to the door, go inside, and by then they would be in a different room.

"Don't make me call your father!" Inko warned the child, who only smirked and slapped Keigo again.

*BWOOSH*

The sound of the omnitrix alerted all of the children to their father's return, all stopping whatever they were doing and seeing a very unhappy adult necrofriggian standing with his icy stare on them.

"Go to your room." He warned, the children immediately complying and fleeing to their freezer room.

"Oh thank you." Inko seemed worn out, but still went to grab her bag and put her shoes on. "I'm glad your back so early, I thought I wouldn't get the chance to pick Naomasa up from Might Tower today."

"He's getting discharged?" He asked, the woman already halfway out the door.

"Yep, I'm going to go take him out somewhere to eat. Would you mind taking care of the house while I'm away? Love you!"

Aaaand she was gone.

"Um, Izuku?" Mina came up, fidgeting with her fingers as Eri was undoing the damage around the house. "I'm sorry I haven't been a helpful babysitter."

"Nonsense." He assured her as he placed a cold hand on her shoulder. "They love you, they can just be a really big handful sometimes. I'll talk to them about today and put them to bed. You go home to your parents."

"Aren't you like, super busy dude?"

"HE IS!" Himiko stretched her head out of the doorway. "Speaking of which, I need you to make some adjustments on our security. It keeps blocking me from a bunch of sites."

"Then you shouldn't be on those." Izuku reminded his sister about her tendencies to explore dangerous parts of the internet.

"It even blocked me from playing Minecraft!"

"...I'll look into it. But first-"

*BWOOOSH*

Switching to his splixson transformation, aka Ditto, he began splitting off into several copies to take care of the multitude of tasks around the house.

One for each of his kids to talk to them in their own special way, one to check what exactly Himiko was talking about, another to check on the house's basic security, another four to prepare food, another five to do some cleaning, one for going to the base and checking off what he had done and what would need to be done, one for checking on Eri, one for asking Mina about the events of the day and how things went, and finally one to-

*ring ring*

Answer the phone.

"Hello?" One of the many aliens in the house answered his cell.

"Oh hey man!" Eijiro's voice came from the otherside. "Hey, I'm over helping out the Uraraka business with Ochaco, Powerloader, Cementoss, and-

"-HATSUME!" Powerloader's voice yelled from the phone. "We do not need you trying to make a fusion reactor for an apartment complex!"

"Her." Eijiro finished with an awkward chuckle. "But yeah, Ochaco and I have been able to help out with the government handing out quirk work licenses left and right to help with rebuilding. But we were wondering if you could help out with some of the plumbing in the area. There's this reservoir that we want to use to get water flowing, but something's been mucking up the-"

"Someone needs to pick up eggs!" A Ditto shouted from the fridge.

"Wasn't my job." Another spouted back with dishes in hand.

"Whose was it?"

"Himiko."

"HIMIKO!" Multiple Dittos yelled out.

"WHAT?!" She shouted back as loud as she could. "I'M ALREADY TALKING WITH ONE OF YOU!"

"Sorry." The Ditto on the phone looked for a quiet place in the house. "I'd love to help right now but Principal Nezu told me to take a break for the day."

"Doesn't sound like you're taking a break. Don't worry man, I'm sure we can-"

*beep beep*

"Hold on, another call is coming in." Izuku switched it over, hoping to find some quiet on the couch. "Hello?"

"Hey Izuku!" Pony's chipper voice brought him to life.

"Pony!" He happily greeted back, all work in the house stopping as some Dittos came over to listen in.

"Move over!"

"I want to talk to her."

"You already are!"

"GUYS!" The Ditto on the phone held his hand over the microphone. "A little privacy?"

They reluctantly backed off, Izuku returning his attention to a source of happiness in his life. "What are you doing up so late?"

"My sleep schedule has been whacked since I don't have school or anything. Besides, I want to be awake more when you are."

"Awwww." Mina couldn't help cooing as she was listening in with her Ditto, Izuku shooing them away.

"How are things on your end? After everything that happened, I've been watching the news and seeing you help out a ton."

"It's going great!" He didn't let her worry. Besides, things were getting better. "Now that I can use my aliens so openly, it's making things a lot easier."

"Are you sure that's a good idea right now?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, there's a ton of controversy over there right now because of the recent alien attacks. Not that they know that, but Mom is more than happy she pulled me away when she did. But you burn yourself out easily. I hope you're not overworking yourself again."

"What? No not at all." Izuku assured her as he began to see a Ditto rush after one of his kids that decided to run off on him. "But what's this thing about controversy-"

"DO NOT TRY TO FLAMBE THAT!"

"I've got potatoes in the oven!"

"Potatoes?! I thought we agreed on pasta!"

"Wait, you guys aren't reheating leftovers?"

"We never talked about any of this! Who's the head chef here?"

"I am!" Three hands in the kitchen rose at the same time.

Deciding to just leave the house with the renewed chaos, the Ditto on the phone left through the side door to enter the lighthouse and start walking up the spiral steps. "Sorry about that, dinner can be…confusing when I'm hungry."

"That's ok. Are you going to be good for our date? My Mom is about to finish a double shift and when she gets home she'll be knocked out so we could go wherever. I was thinking of trying this one place I read over in South Carolina where they have hero battle reenactments but as knights and-"

"Alien life form detected." The omnitrix announced.

He was almost at the top of the stairs when he almost missed the notification, Izuku now on full alert as he began sprinting down stairs.

"Izuku, what was-"

"It'snothingtoworryaboutjustgottotakecareofsomethingloveyoubye!"

Ending the call and rushing into the main house, all the Dittos began merging together until they were one.

"Hey!" Himiko actually walked out of her bedroom door instead of just stretching part of herself out. "Where are you going?"

"Not now!" Ditto shouted as he slapped his hand over the dial. He was met with an low beeping, the alien now confused as to why he couldn't change back-

"Sorry!" The last Ditto came in with Rumi tucked under his arm. "This one needed some air!"

He gently placed her on the couch, gave a kiss to her forehead, and remerged with the other Dittos to become Izuku again. "Mina!"

"Yes!" The girl was at attention, ready for action.

"Could you look after the kids for a little while longer?" Izuku was already grabbing his jacket, not even having it off for ten minutes. "I need to look into something."

"What is it? Something dangerous?! Something alien?!"

"I'm looking into it!" Izuku reiterated, already moving towards the elevator that would lead into the secret base underneath him. "Oh! Turn off the stove please and thank you!"

"The stove?" She curiously looked over to the kitchen, seeing some smoke start to rise.

*FWOOSH*

"THE FLAMBE!"

Along the rocky waters of the reservoir shrouded in fog, no one could see you drown.

The man who had assured the visitors earlier scratched his beard as he overlooked his team on the boat bring up several barrels towards its edges. The other side had large metal arms with cables ready to lower a mechanized diving suit.

"Just a few more should do it." He told his men as they uncapped the barrels with several warning labels plastered on its side. "Then our prize should be quiet enough to come along quietly."

No one would suspect a clean up crew to be doing the dumping, especially when the heroes were away focusing on the big city areas with dense populations. It was the perfect opportunity, for there to be no one to get in their way.

As the first man began tipping the container over, a large vine sprung out from under the ship, grabbing the man, and throwing him overboard.

The rest of the crew stopped when they heard the splash, the ones with the barrels backing away as more vines came out to ensnare the containers in its grasp.

"Should of known you guys were up to no good." A talking plant with one blue eye and a white hourglass symbol on its chest emerged from under the boat and placed itself in the center of the deck. "People NEED drinking water, and you want to ruin it just so you can catch a big fish?"

"This isn't any big fish!" The leader was quick to correct, offended by the simplification. "This is an undiscovered species, that doesn't have a quirk! Do you know how many people would pay for something as rare as this?"

"You mean how much they would pay to have it stuffed." The unnamed vigilante shot back.

"Doesn't make a difference to me, as long as I get paid. Men, cut down that weed!"

Grabbing harpoons and flares, the rowdy men charged the boy turned alien. Kota never saw himself as a hero, but there was just enough anger towards these villains to move him to action. Sure the goal was to help people, but he was having too much fun kicking these guys' butts.

"I can't thank you locals enough." A dragon, a literal dragon speaking to them closed a hatch on part of a large metal cocoon shaped like a shooting star. "I don't know how you used that level two tech to fix my ship, but you did it."

"I fix things reeeeaaal good!" A red skinned gremlin drabbed in a small mechanic's jumpsuit and welder's helmet jumped down from the top of the alien vessel.

Off towards a not so frequented part of civilization next to an old amusement park, there was almost a terrible scene involving an alien with a broken translator roaring and growling in the heart of a city. Luckily, someone detected them before hand and managed to get there to help out.

Supervising the scene, was Erasherhead and Agent Bubbles.

"It's our pleasure." Agent Bubbles shook the clawed hand of the alien. "Our planet is keeping aliens secret until we can get a hearing to be recognized by the Galactic Federation as a civilized planet."

"Good luck with that." The dragon didn't mean to offend. "After the whole debacle of that planet killer on top of a dangerous maniac scientist breaking out of prison and an Adronite going around putting folks on edge, the Galactic Federation has its hands full trying to find a way to respond."

"Yes, things are very active right now." Eraserhead drawled on as he kept quiet about the details.

"Were you making a map?!" Juryrigg fought to contain himself, but couldn't help but point out what he saw during his work. "Is that what you were doing out here?"

"Yes." The alien answered with pride. "I'm a darn good mapmaker, and while I had reservations about coming to this planet due to it being a dumping ground and all the mutations, in the end I decided that the more detailed the better it reflects my thorough reputation."

"Can I have one? Please? Gimme gimme?" Juryrigg held out his grubby hands, Eraserhead about to coil the little goblin in a tight grip and squeeze the-

"It's a small price to pay for having my ship fixed." Moving into his vessel, the dragon like species found one of his more recent works and brought it out. "I don't think even a tow would come to a backwater place like this, no offense."

"We appreciate your gift." Agent Bubbles spoke on behalf of Earth. "Maybe we can improve our reputation soon as well."

"I'll spread good word." The dragon assured with a short bow of his head. "Just don't make me look like a liar."

"We'll try not to ruin your good view of us." Eraserhead's eyes were burning holes in the back of Juryrigg's head as he did his best not to dance with his prize, or potentially tear it apart.

"If someone were to get stuck here again." The alien questioned as he made his way up to the doorway. "What is the name of the organization you belong to that others like me should reach out to?"

"Providence." Agent Bubbles quickly stated in confidence. "We're fairly new, but our name recently went public to the planet."

With their goodbyes said and their goodwill done, the dragon departed their world in his alien craft and returned back to the stars. Once he was gone, Juryrigg changed back to human and left an embarrassed Izuku in place.

"Sorry."

"Perhaps you should avoid that form for the future." Agent Bubbles advised. "You have others just as capable of repairs don't you?"

"Juryrigg works fast." Izuku explained, holding the device that contained a whole map of the known systems. "But it was worth it."

"Don't you already have a map?" Eraserhead questioned as he pointed to the omnitrix.

"Of another universe." Izuku quickly answered. "I was lucky the Kraaho homeworld was in the same place in both universes. I should make sure Itsuka has an updated map to work with though."

"That would be best." Agent Bubbles agreed. "The sooner the better, but don't linger too long. I have strict orders to make sure you return home to rest."

He was listening, he promised, even if it looked like he was ignoring them to dial up Itsuka on his omnitrix. "You there?"

"I'm here Izuku. What's going on?"

"Someone crashed on Earth recently. A mapmaker. We helped him out and he's on his way back home but I thought you might want a copy of an up to date-"

"Yes please! I've just been going by on word of mouth to get around to places with some hit or miss coordinates. Where do you want to meet?"

"Wherever you are, I can teleport so it'll be faster."

"Gotcha. I'm near a restaurant, or I think it's one. It's hard to tell pet stores apart from restaurants out here. You can see my coordinates through my badge right?"

"Yep, see you soon."

"See you."

*click* Izuku didn't take a break, already pulling up her badge ID and finding her current location.

"Kid." Eraserhead put out one of his wrappings in front of the hologram to get his attention. "You getting enough sleep?"

"Enough."

"You have forty minutes." Agent Bubbles alerted him, more time than he would have thought. "Have a nice dinner, but don't stick around for long."

"Also." The much taller mummy began to realize something. "If there is a dislike for humans out in space, perhaps he should transform into something when he goes out."

"Something that no one would want to bother." Agent Bubbles added, Izuku finding a good match in his playlist.

"Well, time to find out if Four Arms has four stomachs."

With a wrecked ship along the shores of the reservoir, and with plenty of police to look after the many poachers who are now in handcuffs for several crimes on top of polluting the local water supply, the local heroes were asked to help oversee the situation in case someone tried anything.

"I can't believe I just looked past this." Mandalay chastised herself for not seeing anything super suspicious about them.

"It's not like this happens a lot." Pixie-bob assured her fellow hero.

"Everyone accounted for?" Tiger questioned Ragdoll, who gave a thumbs up.

"Some guys are pretty banged up, but it's all good! With Pixie-bob and Mrs. Waterhose to help clean up the reservoir, this place should be up and running again in no time! All Might knows we need as much clean water as we can get."

Speaking of the woman, Mrs. Waterhose glanced down to her son, who had actually asked to come along to 'see hero work in person'. "Well Kota? I know it's not as exciting as you thought it would be but I'm happy you came along."

"Oh, it was exciting alright." The boy folded his arms as he watched in amusement the leader being roughly handled by police as he shouted in his delirious state.

"I'm telling you! That thing wasn't a hero! It was like a devil ripping apart my ship and turning it against me! It was a demon! A monster! You have to believe me and hunt it down!"

Heh, he could get used to this 'hero' life.

Kota is keeping the secret to himself, and is starting to enjoy his own use for it. Aliens he has shown so far in order of use are Ripjaws, Wildvine, and Juryrigg. Most of his aliens will be from OG series, with one from each of the other series.

Anymore scenes you guys want to see? Next chapter I'm going to probably either do the date one, the blubies, or Hawaii. I think I might push the Hawaii one until after I-island just so there's some more slice of life between that arc and the summer training camp. If not that one, then one of them.

Which one do you want to see next? Date, blubies, or Hawaii?

XXX777: Eon is not the big bad for this story, as I've already given a sneak peak into who the real big bad will be.

Scoutmain91: Granted.

AnimeFan13579: I can see that, but Izuku hasn't been switching that much in fights given much of his training had him stick to one alien to get used to it, and how he couldn't transform in public. This doesn't mean he was necessarily holding back from switching during his fight, it's just what he was taught to do a lot.

Chronosign: I have made statements about there being no plans for Heroes United, and then when I thought about I-island it suddenly hit how I could make it work in my own way. But Izuku won't be transported to the events of Ben with Rex.

The reason I answer questions at the end is because I find it annoying to have to scroll past a bunch of notes or reviews before I get to the actual story. This way, people get story first and clarification after.

Omnitrickery: I hinted towards Kendo having the capability of having kids, given how her father was pleased to have a close friend of hers have the omnitrix to turn into an adronite as well. Until he realized that he couldn't turn into one.

If I decided to have Tokoyami have Adronite powers, I think I would have it be where Dark Shadow has more power, but can still be held back if needed. Tokoyami can tap into some himself, but if he wants more he has to persuade Dark Shadow to assist.

Guest: I'll see if I can slip some more rebuilding scenes in.

The Avenging Titan: As far as I'm aware they don't age. Yes, Kendo is super powerful now.

SpaceDwarf: Maybe briefly, like a cameo or something.

Alex: I don't think we need to worry about Malware here.

Blue chaos: I already planned on having Way Big and Goop be two of Kota's aliens.

Romulus Black Talon: It's already summer though, schools out. Plus Third years are busy helping their internships out and UA has been busy serving as a shelter.
