A short while later, Theo followed Ember and Wade to the Wetro station where they would soon get off into the busy Air district where Cyclone Stadium would be. Once they got off and headed over to the huge cylindrical building shaped like a cyclone, Ember and Theo had noticed that a throng of Airball fans headed inside the building while Theo noticed the marquee read "Windbreakers vs. Crop Dusters". Theo noticed that most of the people heading inside had Windbreakers themed shirts and stuff and Wade was clearly one of them by the way he wore a shirt with the Windbreaker's logo. At the entrance, Wade and Ember used Wade's passes to get past and into the building while Theo paused as the counter manager (an Earth element) looked his way.

"Need a pass?", he asked raising an eyebrow.

Theo blushed.

"I could, but I doubt there's one for a Theo Plasma."

The Earth element paused.

"Wait, Plasma?", he asked his eyes growing big with awe.

"Yeah?", Theo asked.

The counter guy quickly pulled out a pass and handed it over.

"Here, on the house.", he said, "As thanks for that delivery you gave me a long time back."

Theo was shocked. Talk about luck.

"Thanks.", he said before giving the counter guy a nod.

He hurried inside while hearing a couple comments behind him.

"Sparky showoff."

"Talk about unfair."

Theo ignored them and got inside to find Wade and Ember having a full view of the game going on. Fluffy Air players soared above the stands as they blew or threw a ball toward a hoop on either side of the field. As much as Theo wanted to watch the game, Ember and him both knew they had to find Gale so they could work out those violations Wade had filed.

"Where is she?", Ember asked as she scanned around the stands.

"Up there.", Wade gestured, "In the skybox."

Theo followed Wade's gesture and noticed a large purple storm cloud which he guessed was Gale and she was clearly freaking out.

"Come on!", she bellowed out to the players.

Ember looked determined as she knew where to go.

"Okay.", she said taking a deep breath, "Time to cancel some tickets."

As the trio made their way up to Gale, they passed a vendor who was selling drinks.

"Toot-toot juice!", he called out, "Get your toot-toot juice!"

When they got up to Gale's skybox, Theo and Ember both noticed a bunch of Water elements between them and their goal. Ember got nervous, but Theo was determined to be brave. Clearly Cyclone Stadium wasn't designed with Fire elements in mind like a lot of other areas around Element City.

/

Theo and Ember cautiously made their way past the sitting Water elements after sucking in their waists.

"Sorry. Excuse me. Fire girl coming through."

"Pardon me please.", Theo said cautiously, "Sorry if I zap or something."

Wade however casually moved through while interacting with other fans.

"Jimmy, what's up? Wendy! How good it is to be here."

It seemed to Theo that Wade knew about everyone while Ember clearly didn't. Theo knew some people by faces, but not by name. As they passed, the Water elements boiled and flinched as Ember and Theo passed. Soon they were right behind Gale.

"Break some wind!", Gale thundered out to the players.

"Hi Gale!", Wade called out, "How are you doing?"

Gale took a moment to turn Wade's way.

"Look at the score! What do you think?", she rumbled before hurling another shout to the players, "Blow the ball not the game!"

Theo felt like it was probably better to wait til the game was over before talking to Gale, but Ember seemed to have gathered her courage to speak anyway.

"So, uh, Gale, my name is Ember Lumen. My family runs a Fire shop…Wade wrote us a bunch of tickets yester-"

She was cut off by a buzzer which seemed to tick Gale off further.

"What kind of call was that?", she called out to the ref before turning to Ember impatiently, "Lumen? Yeah, Fire shop with thirty citations."

Theo's mouth fell open while Ember looked Wade's way.

"Thirty?!", they both asked though Theo sounded more shocked while Ember sounded upset.

Wade shrugged and laughed nervously. Ember then turned to Gale again trying to sound calmer.

"Anyway friend, I was hoping we could work something out-"

The buzzer went off again and Gale grew stormier.

"Come on ref! Are your eyes in the back of your head?", she yelled.

The Air ref paused to roll his eyes to the back of his head and glared at Gale while the crowd booed.

"Oh no.", warned Wade as if he knew what was coming.

Theo then noticed Ember hadn't noticed what Wade did and tried again.

"Yeah, bummer.", she said, "Okay, so the thirty citations-"

Gale whipped around giving Ember a hard look.

"Do you mind?! There's a game going on!".", she thundered before turning back to the game, "Fireball."

Theo flinched and Ember flared.

"Fireball?", she repeated before standing and getting in front of Gale, "Actually I do mind. This is my life we're talking about not some game."

Theo felt like that was the wrong thing to do since Gale was swelling and growing dark like a storm cloud.

"Some game?", she asked as lightning flashed off her, "This is the playoffs. So forgive me if I don't want to hear a sob story about the problems of some little shop."

/

Ember flared as Theo noticed purple streaked through her.

"Oh dear.", he flinched believing that another explosion was coming up and prepared to have a field of electro-magnetism at the ready if it came to that.

"Well, that "little shop" matters way more than a bunch of overpaid cloud puffs blowing a ball around."

Gale loomed towards Ember til they were nose to nose.

"I dare you.", she thundered, "Say "cloud puffs" one…more…time."

Ember didn't back down.

"Cloud puffs.", she said while standing close enough that her hot words blew away Gale's nose.

Gale reformed her nose growing furious and Theo felt like there would be trouble before Wade checked the game as the crowd booed again.

"Oh no!"

Gale then looked out and gasped. Ember however looked out curiously. Theo turned to wade hoping he had an explanation.

"Lutz!", Wade cried.

Theo looked out into the game to see one of the Windbreakers players racing to guard the net as a Crop Duster player blew forward with the ball and then blew it through him into the goal. Theo turned to wade.

"What's with him?", he asked as the crowd booed again making the player Lutz's spirit sink.

"He's been in such a funk since his mom has been sick.", Wade answered.

As if to prove Wade's point, Lutz had the ball stolen from him from an opposing player causing the Windbreakers fans boo him again.

"That is so not cool.", Wade said as he surveyed the crowd, "He's doing his best."

Theo looked more determined.

"I agree."

Wade then stood up and started shouting skyward, "We love you Lutz!"

Theo caught on and joined in as Wade continued his chant hoping the rest of the Windbreakers fans would catch on also. Lutz looked toward the cheering section and a smile came to his face. Soon, every Windbreakers fan had joined in the cheer and Wade then began a wave which every Water element joined in as it went around the stadium. Theo got tense as it came close to him and Ember so he threw up a field of force to protect them. Out on the field, Lutz was energized and got the ball back before slamming it into the goal. The crowd went wild and even Ember couldn't help but join in.

"Woo!", Wade cried tearing up with emotion, "Way to go, Lutz!"

As the cheering went on, Theo noticed Ember look Wade's way. The look in her eyes told Theo something, but what was it? He thought of how Wade had managed to get a whole stadium to support Lutz which turned the tide of the game. When fans high-fived each other, Wade joined in eagerly until he tried to do so with Ember, but Theo could tell she was hesitant about what could happen if they did, but luckily Wade took a hint and awkwardly high-fived his other hand while Theo used a glove to cover his hand so he could high-five Wade to make up for it.

"Great work with that cheer Wade.", Theo commented, "Looks like the game might go our way."

/

At the end of the game, the Windbreakers had won and as the trio left alongside Gale, the Air woman was clearly still hyped like the other fans who were cheering and laughing while the victory song rang.

"Woo Hoo!", Gale cried, "What a comeback!"

Theo then noticed Wade wasn't present before his voice came out.

"Guess who found the gift shop?!", Wade cried as showed up dressed from head to toe with Windbreakers gear and waved a foam finger in the air, "Woo!"

Theo couldn't help but smile. He did look kind of funny, but in a good way. Ember even gave a grin.

"I gotta admit, that was pretty cool.", she said to Gale.

"Guess you can see why I can get all churned up.", Gale said, "But as a "cloud puff" who used to come here with her dad, these wins mean a little bit more."

"And as a "fireball" who's supposed to take over her dad's shop. . .", Ember started before hesitating a moment, "I sure don't want to let him down. I could use a win too."

Theo could see that Ember was letting her guard down. This was something Ember didn't do very often. The soft, shimmering light that she displayed the day before at City Hall came out again which Wade noticed too as she continued.

"Now I just have to prevent water from coming in-"

"Water?", Gale asked cutting Ember off, "In Firetown?"

"Yeah?", Ember asked confused.

"Water was shut off there years ago.", Gale answered, "Forget the tickets. I'm going to have to take apart your dad's shop to find out what's going on!"

"You can't.", Ember cried, "My dad put his whole life into that place."

Theo finally found his voice.

"Mrs. Cumulus, there has to be something we can do to make this up."

Gale sighed heavily.

"I bet this has something to do with that fluffin leak."

Wade noticed Theo's confused expression and began explaining.

"We were trying to find a leak in the city. It's why I was in the canal and-", he stared before looking towards Gale, "Wait! I know where I got sucked into Ember's shop! Ember, Theo, and I can track the water from her shop and find the source of the leak!"

Gale looked interested.

"Keep talking."

Before Wade could continue, Theo jumped in.

"We investigate where the origin of it is, call in a proper construction crew to fix it, and-"

"There will be no reason to touch my dad's shop!", Ember finished showing she was on board as well.

Gale paused as she examined their hopeful faces and a smile came to hers.

"You're lucky you're a cute couple with a friend like Mr. Plasma here."

Ember's cheeks burned.

"Oh, we're not-"

"You have until Friday.", Gale continued cutting her off again, "If you can find the leak and get a construction crew to fix it, those tickets are forgiven. If not, your dad's shop gets shut down."

With the last words, Gale floated up and joined the flow of other cheering fans.

"Thanks.", Ember called up to her before turning to Wade and deciding that he was wearing too much stuff, "Please take all that off."

"But I got you a hat.", Wade answered pulling one out.

The hat exploded in a small mushroom cloud.

"Okay.", Wade said nervously backing away a bit.

Theo stifled a chuckle. Gale had given them some time and they had to work fast.

As night fell, the trio headed towards Ember's shop in a direction they hoped Bernie wouldn't see them. Theo and Ember knew too well that Bernie wasn't a fan of Water elements, but if they were going to fix this leak issue, they had to work together.

"I'll go on ahead.", Theo told Ember before turning to Wade, "Stay hidden okay?"

Theo went up to the door to hear Bernie bellowing.

"Now there's water up here?"

Theo hurried inside to find Bernie taking a piece of wall off to reveal another leaky pipe.

"Mr. Lumen?", Theo asked gaining Bernie's attention, "Everything okay?"

Bernie looked more at ease to see Theo.

"Oh Theo, why is there more leaks?"

Theo thought about telling him about the leak, but Bernie then noticed the blue flame had a leak near it and Theo did too which he then rushed over to fix up while Bernie finished with the pipe he was on grateful that Theo was there to help. Theo noticed Wade and Ember's faces in the window and they quickly went down before Bernie looked their way and coughed a couple times.

"Mr. Lumen, you should get some rest.", Theo told him, "I'll get these leaks fixed up."

Bernie nodded as he made his way upstairs and Theo went around checking his system which looked and felt stable before he went out to Wade and Ember.

"How could it be worse?", he and Ember both asked.

"Now that water's back, the pressure is forcing it up into all of your pipes.", Wade explained.

"We have to find the source.", Theo stated, "How did you even get into those pipes Wade?"

"I was in the canals checking the doors for leaks when I found some water that shouldn't be there.", Wade explained, "Then this huge wave of water came at me, I fell into filtration system, then got jammed in a pipe with clogged debris when I heard this explosion and then burst out of a pipe and landed in Ember's shop."

Ember shuddered and Theo recalled when Ember had a temper flare on the Red Dot Sale.

"Oh flame, my temper caused this?", Ember asked before looking out, "We're looking for water somewhere in the canal? Those canals go everywhere."

"It's why tracking that leak has been so dang hard.", Wade agreed.

Theo thought for a moment before his eyes turned to the roof.

"I got an idea.", he said getting Ember and Wade's attention.

"What is it?", Wade asked.

"Follow us to the roof.", Theo told him as he and Ember made their way to the stairs that would lead to the roof with him right behind them, "If we hurry, we might find the source fast."
