(A/N: Next scene. Nothing to say, except enjoy!)
Scene 2
Lelouch and C.C. had returned from the battle at Narita. The Battle of Narita did not go as Lelouch planned- after all he had failed to capture Cornelia- but they were not completely… unfavorable. Hopefully- with the results- the Black Knights might be viewed in a more favorable light by Kyoto.
The duo had returned to Lelouch's room to find Fear slumped over the desk in despair. The moment the door opened- she tilted her head to side- offering them a half-hearted and despondent greeting of their return.
Lelouch and C.C. glanced at each other. The both knew that something was very wrong, but wondered which of them should bring it up.
"Here's the ramen you kept pestering me about," Lelouch said as he placed the bag down on the desk. He raised an even more confused brow when she didn't respond.
Okay… Something was seriously wrong. Fear was always prancing around in absolute joy over ramen. His brain wrecked extensively for any reason that might have caused Fear's dejected behavior- immediately going into the worst-case scenarios. Did someone from the Britannian military? Was she discovered by someone?
"Fear, did something happen?" C.C. was the first to break the silence with her inquiry.
In that instance, Fear abruptly swung around in her chair. Her face was a terrifying amalgamation of thunderstruck horror, paralyzing shock, and abject revulsion.
"Did something happen? Did something happen?" Fear all but screamed out, suddenly climbing out of her chair in a frantic manner. "What was so… horrifying… the image of it would be burned in my mind for years?"
She started pacing around the room, mumbling crazily to herself. All C.C. and Lelouch could do was stare at her in utter confusion.
"Let me tell you, I have seen lots of weird shit before in my life. But this…! This was just…! This was an unspeakable nightmare that I… I cannot describe in mere words. There is not a single word in the Britannia dictionary."
"Fear, calm down." Lelouch grabbed a hold of the blonde, pigtailed girl's shoulders to stop her from pacing frantically. "What did you see?" he asked, fearing the worst. Did something happen that he didn't factor into his plans? Was there a miscalculation? He didn't really like unpredictable variables. Unknowns really throw off his plans.
She gazed up at him with utterly distraught blue eyes. She looked like she was on the verge of tears, her whole body was trembling terribly. She opened and closed mouth several times, but no words were coming out.
Now Lelouch was seriously starting to get concerned. It was not like Fear to shut down so much.
Fear gently shook herself out of the exiled prince's grasp. She covered her face in her hands. "No! I'd rather not say! I don't want to relive that haunting nightmare!"
She shivered in disgust. "Just recalling the noise is bad enough. It sounded like three hyenas fused with a broken car as it crashed into a railway tractor, did a couple hydraulic flips, then exploded into a pile of ash and carcasses."
C.C. rose a brow at that. "That's… an image."
"Seriously?! What is wrong with teenagers these days?" Fear continued to rant. She crossed her arms under her large breasts- closed her eyes- and her brows were furrowed in deep consternation. "Don't get me wrong. I have nothing against wanting to seek out a moment of blissful happiness. Given the crappy state of the world, we could all use a few momentary instances of joyful gratification. But that… That was just… not normal!"
She opened her hands and started pacing around the room again, completely forgetting that Lelouch and C.C. were in the room. "Doesn't that girl have some fucking toys for that shit?! I feel sorry for the people who are going to use that table. Hell, I feel sorry for the table! If I am this traumatized by what transpired, then the table must be ten times more traumatized than me. I did not need to go through what it just went through. Really, I hope someone would burn the table to end its suffering and spare it from further misery. I wish Lelouch could still use his Geass on me. This is the one time I would have gladly accepted being Geassed. I would have not fought off its influence."
"A table? You are freaking out over a table?" Lelouch questioned exasperated. He shook his head while letting out an annoyed sigh. He should've known it was something ridiculous. Fear always manages to get him worked up over nothing. "I should have known it was nothing."
Fear whipped her head in her head in his direction, the strands of her blonde hair flying. Her expression was contorted into a mixture of appalling shock and at her feelings being dismissed and ignored so easily.
"Nothing?!" She instantly flew towards him, glaring daggers at him. "This is not nothing, you Britannia asshole!" She held a hand flat against her chest- her other hand on her hips as she leaned forward with a crestfallen, tearful gaze. "Can't you see how distraught I am? I have been mentally scarred, and you don't even care! Care, dammit!" Fear started weakly pounding her fists against his chest. "You are supposed to be emotionally supporting me right now in my hour of need." She buried her face in his chest, taking a moment to stop beating him with her fists. "You are a cold, heartless bastard, Lelouch. How could you dismiss a woman in distress?"
"I don't see how any of this holds any significance," he responded blankly.
Angry and appalled, Fear threw herself off the Prince Bastard. "You know what? Fuck you! I'm going out and I'm taking your credit card with me! And when I get back, I better not see you getting it on with the bed board or something!"
The pigtailed girl furiously snatched the card off the desk and stomped her way towards the door.
"Wait! Where are you going?" Lelouch called out after her when she was halfway out the door.
"Sex. Toys. I'm going to go buy some!"
With that, she slammed the door shut.
Lelouch slumped in his bed, holding a frustrated hand to his nose. "That girl…! She is going to be the death of me."
"Not to mention- she took your card- and is headed somewhere I highly doubt your name spreading," C.C. added in apathetically.
It took a moment for C.C.'s comment and Fear's last words to register. The Britannian rebel leader sprung up from the bed and cursed under his breath. That girl really was gonna be the death of him!
C.C. watched with an amused glint in her yellow eyes as Lelouch hurriedly ran into the bathroom- came out moments later with his Zero costume replaced with a pair of plain clothes- and rushed out the door after Fear.
Gotta admit- with Fear around- there was never a dull moment.
(A/N: Scene done! Shouldn't have to tell you what traumatizing scene Fear witnessed. We all know- at least anyone who has seen Code Geass [or- at least- the memes] is aware of the infamous table scene.
Oh- and not to get confused- Fear is Naruko Uzumaki. She is just using an alias/codename similar to C.C. She doesn't want anyone knowing her true name. Yet. And for various reasons.
Well, tell me what you think. Did you enjoy the read?)
