New chapter yay, still took longer than I wanted and is a bit shorter than the others, but whatever.

Enjoy.

"Time to take care of my problems," Avery said, standing up from her bed and bee lining to the dorm bathroom.

After appreciating her new beauty, Avery started thinking about what to do today. 'Request a new bed for the dorm, weapons….. Maybe I can get one of the girls to help me with aura training? I don't like her that much, but Weiss seems to know quite a lot about that topic in specific, at least from what I saw from the show and the fighting in the forest'.

After a quick bath and changing into the same clothes she entered this world in, she left the bathroom and noticed Ruby, Blake, and Yang were awake.

"Good morning!" Ruby said after noticing Avery walking out of the bathroom.

"Yo"

"Why are you up so early?" Yang asked

"Always been an early riser, but I guess I can….." Avery yawned, clearly needing more sleep "Get a bit more sleep for now. Wake me up when it's time for class" She said, literally crumbling on the bed and almost instantly succumbing to sleep

"She doesn't sound like an early riser….oh wow she's already asleep," Yang said, noticing Avery peacefully sleeping.

"Guess I'll go change for now"

A small, suppressed laugh could be heard in the room, it was Ruby who was looking at both Weiss and Avery, a devious idea in her head.

Fast forward a while, Blake, Yang, and Ruby were all dressed, with Weiss and Avery still sleeping. A smile formed on Ruby's face, a whistle on her hand.

At that same moment, Weiss seemed to start moving, she rose from her bed, stretched her arms, and yawned. All the while, Ruby was approaching her from her side.

*Phweeeeeeeeee*

"Gah!" Weiss, startled, tried to get out of her bed, only to stumble to the ground instantly.

"Good morning team RWBY!... Or RWBYA? RWABY?"

"What in the world is wrong with you?!"

"Now that you are awake, we can officially begin our first order of business!"

"Excuse me?"

"Decorating!" Yang said, holding multiple objects in her hands.

"What?"

"We still have to unpack," Blake said, holding a suitcase that proceeded to open and throw all her things on the ground. "And clean"

"Avery is still sleeping," Yang said.

"How…. did she not wake up with all this sound?" Weiss said.

Ruby approached Avery and blew her whistle in her ear….. She did not wake up.

"…"

"How….?" At this point, everyone was completely baffled. How can a person stay sleeping even after all of this sound? even with a whistle directly in her ear, she did not wake up.

"Is she dead?" Yang said, poking at Avery's head.

"...mmm" Avery groaned.

"So she doesn't wake up with a whistle but she does wake up with light touches? I…."

The transmigrator finally opened her eyes and started scanning her surroundings, still not fully awake. Her eyes stopped at Ruby, who was looking at her with curious eyes. After a moment, Avery moved her arms to hug Ruby and rested her head on her shoulder.

"Wha-" Ruby had her hands at her sides, not quite sure of what to do.

Yang wowed, Blake stared while trying to hide her wide smile with her hands, and Weiss was as stunned as Ruby.

After the surprise wore off a bit, Ruby could hear a soft breath. "Yang, could you check Avery's face for me? I…. I don't want to interrupt her" She said.

"Hmmmm?" Yang looked at her sister with a teasing smile. Ruby took a while to process the meaning of that smile, but when she got it… "Yaaang!"

"Ok ok, let me check" Yang moved behind her sister, trying to see Avery's face. Lo and behold, Avery was, once again, sleeping.

"She's out," Yang said

Weiss looked completely lost for words.

"Ummm…. What do I do, Yang?" Ruby asked

"Just shake her a bit, that should work" Yang responded.

Ruby proceeded to gently shake Avery, which seemed to finally wake her. "Hnnmm?" Avery looked around, then noticed the situation she encountered herself in. "Oh... I'm-" She made a long yawn and rubbed her eyes, almost falling asleep again.

"I'm sorry for that, I haven't gotten that much *yawn* sleep lately," Avery said, still groggy.

"Ummm… i-it's ok… haha," Ruby said, not sure what else to say.

"...So….. what are we doing exactly?"

"Oh, yes! Decorating!"

"Shouldn't we wait for my bed to come?" Avery asked

"oh…right…" Ruby said, saddened.

'Ah, shit… I just made her sad.' Avery thought "Ummm… but we could still do it now! What about bunk beds? It's not like we have enough space for everyone's beds once mine gets here," she said, trying to salvage the situation.

"Yes… Yes! We can do that!" Ruby said, now happier. Avery silently sighed.

"Umm... that sounds dangerous, the bunk beds," Weiss said

"And super awesome!"

"It does seem efficient"

"Well, we should put it to a vote!" Weiss demanded.

"I think we just did," Ruby said in response. And the rest agreed.

"All right! Avery, Weiss, Blake, Yang, and their fearless leader Ruby have begun their first mission! Banzai!"

""Banzai!"" Yang and Blake said in unison, then looked at Weiss and Avery.

"What?" Weiss said.

"Ummm… Banzai…..?" Avery said.

"Yeah!" Ruby cheered.

'That went better than I thought it would' Avery thought. She was sure it was going to be a mess like in the show, all the beds grouped together in the center of the room. 'The curtains were still slashed by Ruby though, glad Weiss sew them together. She is a heiress after all. I suppose they made her learn sewing'

"So… what now?" Avery asked.

"Right! Our second order of business is! Classes…." Ruby said, bummed. "Now, we have a few classes together today. At nine we ha-"

"WHAT? Did you say nine o'clock?" Weiss asked, angered.

"Umm…"

"It's eight fifty-five, you dunce!"

Weiss bolted out of the room, soon followed by the rest of the team, except Avery, who hung back a bit.

"Class?" A blonde boy asked from one of the other rooms, it was Jaune, who fell alongside his whole to the floor.

"Better get moving guys," Avery said to the human pile, before also bolting to the classroom.

"We're gonna be late!" Jaune said in desperation.

Everyone finally got to class, Avery sat at Blake's side in the front row with the rest of the team. Instantly, she felt multiple stares… and also emotions. 'What's this?' Avery thought. It was as if a weird new sense entered her body, or her halo in specific. 'Is that its purpose…. It may be useful, but now I just feel uncomfortable…. Way too many stares and emotions.' Avery started fidgeting in her seat. This didn't go unnoticed by Blake.

"Are you ok?" Blake asked.

"Yeah… Just... way too many stares" Avery responded.

"Oh… I'm sorry"

"Monster, Demons, prowlers of the night. Yes, the creatures of Grimm have many names. But I merely refer to them as prey! Haha!" Professor Port joked, but no one laughed. "Uhhh... And you shall too upon graduating from this prestigious academy"

Avery tried to zone out, but now that she was thinking about doing it, she couldn't.

"-that's where we come in. Huntsmen! Huntresses." Port said, pointing at Yang. She laughed awkwardly.

After that, Professor Port went on to tell a story about his past, which helped Avery finally distract herself with something. The story was incredibly uninteresting, so she fell asleep.

"I do sir!" Someone said.

"Guh?!" Avery woke up, startled by the yell

"Well then! Let's find out." Port said and presented a cage with a Grimm, A Boarbatusk more specifically. "Step forward, and face your opponent!"

'Ah… right, she has to fight now….. Is that Grimm looking at me?' Avery noticed and decided to ask the professor. "Professor Port"

"Yes! Miss…Avery, right?"

"Yeah, I just have a question, Are Grimm attracted to Aura?"

"Exactly, Miss Avery! Apart from negative emotions, Grimm, are also attracted to strong auras, and they will attack the person with the most aura, ignoring others" Port said.

"Thanks, Professor. The thing is that Boarbatusk is looking at me weirdly and I'm pretty sure I have a lot of aura, at least that is what someone told me"

"Hm… yes, this Grimm seems to have a lot of interest in you, but don't worry, ill make sure it doesn't attack you during the demonstration"

"Thanks, professor"

Shortly after that conversation, Weiss came back with her rapier and usual attire. The Grim seemed to finally put its attention on Weiss, who was in a combat stance.

"Go, Weiss!" "Fight well!" "Yeah! Represent team RWBYA!"

"Let's just keep it as RWBY, RWBYA sounds horrible," I said to Ruby.

"True" Yang agreed

"Ruby, I'm trying to focus!" Weiss reprimanded Ruby.

"Oh… Sorry…"

"All right, let the match begin!" With that, Professor Port used his weapon to break the lock on the Grimm's cage, and it barreled right at Weiss.

The fight went mostly like in the Web series, with the biggest difference being that from time to time, the Grimm would look at Avery, so she decided to move to the back of the room so as to not attract the Grimm more than needed. This proved to be a mistake.

Avery felt a rush of emotions, mostly fear, those emotions were not hers, but from the people in the room. She knew that something bad had happened, and it was directed at her, so she decided to jump to the side, right into the desks, evading the Grimm that was charging her.

"What!?" Before she could do anything, the Grimm charged at her again, but Professor Port came in time to kill it with a swing of his axe at an incredible speed, not quite like a dedicated semblance for speed, but still really fast.

"Hmmm, it seems I underestimated the amount of aura you have, Miss Avery," Port said.

"Hehe, yeah, me too"

Port went back to the front of the classroom, while Avery went back to her seat. "I'm afraid that's all the time we have for today, be sure to cover the assigned readings, And! Stay vigilant. Class dismissed" Professor Port said.

Weiss stomped out of the room, Avery was about to follow her, but Ruby stopped her. "I-I'll take care of Weiss, you can go to Ozpin's Office, the card he told you to give us told us to go meet him after our class," Ruby said.

"Uh... Ok," Avery said. Then walked to Ozpin's Office with Blake and Yang.

A long walk later, the three arrived at the elevator to the Headmaster's Office, and Glynda Goodwitch was waiting for them.

"Where are the two others?" Glynda asked.

"Weiss stomped out of the classroom and Ruby chased after her, they should be here soon" Blake responded.

"Let's wait then, you can go in for now," Glynda said, and the three entered the elevator, Ozpin was not there yet, so they waited.

A couple of minutes later, Weiss, Ruby, and Ozpin entered the Office.

"Now that we are all here, I and Miss Avery over here have something important to tell you," Ozpin said.

"... What?" Avery said in response 'What? What do I need to tell them that needs the headmaster to be….. Here…. Oh.' the former male noticed and looked at her team, they were confused, curious, and a little bit scared, she knew because she could feel it.

"Is it really necessary?" Avery asked Ozpin.

"It will help with the relationship with your team, and it's also for your own mental health, I don't think it will do you good if you keep such a big secret for too long, it will be better if there is someone close you can share it with, Miss Avery," He said in response.

"Umm…" Avery was not sure if it was a good idea for them to know. 'Hmmmm…. I mean, it would be nice to have someone I could trust with this, at least I know the four of them are trustworthy… Ok…' She sighed. "Ok… ill tell them, it's not like they are bad people or anything… So, do you believe in Alternative universes?" Avery asked them.

"Mmm… not really? That sounds straight out of a Ci-fi movie" Yang said.

"Well…. Hello everyone, I'm Avery Whitlock, and I come from another world" Avery said with a wave and an awkward smile.

Everyone just looked at her. "That's just stupid, who would believe that? You are just delusional." Weiss said.

"Actually, I can vouch for her, she did give me enough evidence," Ozpin said.

"And that is?" Ozpin looked at Avery, and she took out her phone and wallet with her ID in it and handed them to Weiss. She looked at them for a moment, and then back at her, then at Ozpin, who just nodded. Then she looked at the rest of the team, who were also looking at strange objects. "Bu-But this shows the picture of a man!" Weiss said accusingly, pointing at Avery who just looked to the side and blushed, sheepishly.

Weiss stayed in that position for a while, unmoving. Ruby was the first to talk, "That's so cool!" She used her semblance to rapidly approach Avery and started rapidly asking her questions. "You were a man? How did you come here?! Do all people in your world have a Halo and Wings? What about the weapons?!"

"Uhh… can we talk about this when we get back to our room, I don't feel comfortable talking about it right now"

"Bu-!" Ruby was about to protest, but Yang grabbed her before she could. "That's ok, we can talk later, but you are gonna tell us everything. Whether to want to or not"

"Yeah, there's no need to rush, we are a team here, you can tell us everything when you feel like it," Blake said.

"Thanks, guys… So… Is that it?" Avery asked Ozpin "Because I actually want to make some requests if it's possible"

"Do tell, Miss Avery. I will help you to the best of my abilities" Ozpin respond.

"Well, apart from a uniform and a bed-"

"Those things will be delivered to you soon"

"Thanks, apart from that… is it possible that I could get a weapon? I'm practically broke, so I have no way to buy one"

"Hmmm…. Well, I did say I was gonna help you, so what about we commission one for you"

"A mecha-shift?" Avery asked

"Yes, you will design it, and when you have it ready, send me the design and I will pay for it."

"Oh! I can help with that!" Ruby chimed in

Ah, right, she's supposed to be a big weapon nut' Avery thought "That would help a lot, thanks" Avery said, walking to Weiss, who was still stunned, and taking her phone and wallet from her.

"You are in good hands with my sister, you'll get a crazy good weapon," Yang said, looking at her sister and winking.

"Huh?" Ruby just tilted her head in confusion. Blake chuckled.

"Well, I guess that's everything for now. you can go back to your dorms" Ozpin said.

"Well, let's go, guys! I really want to squeeze Avery out of every bit of information about her previous life! You are not escaping." Yang said.

'Shit'

Weiss was still way too stunned to speak or move too much, so Avery flicked her on the forehead.

"Gah! Hey!"

"Let's go. I'll tell you everything once we go back to our dorm"

"But-! uhh …ok"

With that, everyone left the office and started walking to the dorm building.

'Guess I can't escape this now, let's just tell them everything. hopefully, they take it well'

There you have it. Let's just get into the details about the fic.

Romance?

-Don't know, maybe I could start experimenting with romance now so I don't make mistakes in later fics? It depends. I really don't know who to pair Avery with (She is a lesbian btw). Maybe I could pair her with Ruby? I mostly just added the hugging scene because I thought it would be funny and it was a nice way to show that Avery has weird sleeping habits, like grabbing whatever she has at arms' length, even other people, hence why she grabbed Ruby and not anyone else.

Weapons.

Toyamasu in the reviews said it could be based on Arturia Giallo's (A character from the game Arknights and the character Avery takes her looks) casting unit, her cello. While I love the idea, I won't see much of a point in keeping the cello part of the weapon. But I was thinking of giving her some kind of rifle-odachi hybrid. We'll see.

New sense.

This is about the scene where Avery starts feeling others' emotions. This is an ability that the Sankta race has in Arknights, but is limited to just other Sankta. I made it so she can feel others' emotions, it would be a shame to just abandon that aspect of the Sankta race, and it will probably be useful later. (Maybe it will be top OP, but she will literally have the ability to manipulate time. who cares at this point?)

POV

I tried experimenting with a 3rd person POV for this chapter, and I have to say, I like it more. Maybe in the future, I'll change from 1st to 3rd person, whichever is more convenient depending on the situation.

Big thanks to Toyamasu for the suggestion.

Semblance

Still working on it, we have a few chapters before Avery unlocks it.

That's it, I will be reading any suggestions and critics on the reviews. Just be nice.

Thanks for reading.
