It all started the day Hizashi got the wrong email.

The day started out like any other Thursday morning. Hizashi woke up and began his three hour hair care routine. While the deep conditioner sat doing its job in his two foot long blonde hair, Zashi made coffee for Shouta and got the food for their cats Mochi and Tofu. "Yes guys, I'm working on it," Zashi says to the cats as they meow and try to climb his legs to get to the special canned food Shota buys. "Spoiled cats, I think Sho loves you guys more than he does me," Hizashi mumbles with a shake of his head. With the cats fed and the coffee making, Hizashi hops in the shower to finish getting ready for another day with his little listeners. Two hours later Zashi is ready and Sho, well he's awake, dressed, and nursing his second cup of coffee. That's about as good as it's going to get for Shota after a night of patrol.

Once the Pro Heros got to UA they went back to behaving as colleagues and parted ways; Aizawa to homeroom to sleep in his yellow sleeping bag until class starts, and Yamada to English. Both ready, or almost ready, to take on their first classes of the day. As class 1A files into Yamada's classroom he is busy setting up the English exam he had planned for the day. "Hello listeners, I hope you had a chance to study for the exam today! All the terms you will need are in the word bank and you have the whole period to finish the exam," Present Mic told the class as they all got seated. While the class was wrapping up their test Mic was catching up on some staff emails and something strange caught his eye. The email was from an unknown address, and the subject line was simply titled 'Phase 1'. After rereading the email several times the only conclusion that Hizashi could come up with is that something bad is going to happen and that the first steps to the plan that the unknown sender has is already underway.

As the students gather up their belongings to head out to lunch and free period with their friends Hizashi gathers up his laptop and heads to Aizawa's room to go over what he has read. "Hey Shota, we may have some issues on our hands," Zashi was saying as he was entering the underground hero's classroom. "Hizashi you are too loud, I'm trying to nap. I seriously doubt that whatever problem you think you have found is more important than my sleep." Shouta yawned. "No Sho seriously this is more important than sleep," Hizashi was saying as he sat his laptop on Shota's chest as he lay in the sleeping bag, one eye open glaring at his loud husband. "Phase 1 is complete. The secret entrance I have set up under UA is finally open and we can begin the infiltration as planned."

Shouta reads and rereads the simple two sentence email, trying to get a feel for who could have sent it. "Mic, please get your computer off my chest. I want to go check my own email to make sure that I don't have anything similar to that," Aizawa mused. "Okie dokey love, here give me your hand I'll help you up". "Thanks Zashi." As the two Pros look through the email they find nothing out of the ordinary and so they shut the laptop. "This is seriously strange", Hizashi admits to Shota placing his chin in his hands and sitting down at his husband's desk.

"Sho, what do you think this means?" "It means that we have a spy working alongside us giving classified information to the wrong people, and somehow your email got attached in the sending of correspondence." Shota answered, walking around behind his husband to console the usually loud and hyper man.

By the time the end of class rolled around Hizashi had worked himself into a tizzy trying to figure out what it all meant. "I think there is something seriously wrong with Present Mic Sensei," he hears one of his little listeners say to their friend as the last class leaves. "I think you're right," comes the response as the students leave his room to continue their conversation elsewhere.

As the voice hero gathers up his things and the papers he needs to grade for the evening he's so wrapped up in his thoughts that he doesn't hear his door open as Shouta comes in. "Come on hun let's get home, I'll make you some of your calming tea that you like so much". Hizashi jumps startled out of his thoughts then relaxes as he realizes it's not only his husband who broke him out of the spiraling thoughts but also probably the only other person here he can trust.

When the two pro hero's finally walked through their door Shota had managed to calm his husband down somewhat but the cats Mochi and Tofu both realized something was wrong. After stopping Shouta and getting their evening pats from their dad the two kitties begin weaving their way through papa's legs. Mochi, always the more adventurous of the two, decided that she wanted to be in her papa's face so she began climbing the cat tree the hero's kept by the door to then jump on Zashi's chest making the sulking hero catch her and give her love. "Hi baby yes girl I'm ok, papa has just had an uncharacteristically long day at work." Hizashi answered the meowing of the calico princess in his hands. "Love I'm going to start dinner for everyone and the kettle for our tea, you go take a hot bath and try to relax. I'll bring your tea when it's ready." Shouta said, lightly pushing Hizashi's shoulders towards the stairs. "You're right, plus Hitoshi and Eri will be home soon. I don't want them to worry until we absolutely have to tell them. Those poor kids have been through so much already." Hizashi answered as he began going up the stairs.

A few minutes later Hizashi had sunk chin deep in the hot steamy water and Shouta was bringing up the aforementioned tea. "How are you feeling hun?" "I'll be ok as soon as we get to the bottom of this." "I'm here for you if you want to bounce ideas. Oh and I'm making your favorite for dinner tonight. As side dishes to go with the fried chicken I'm making steamed vegetables and rice pilaf." Sho explained getting up to leave. "Thank you love the tea is wonderful and I'm sure the meal is going to be just as good," Hizashi called to his husband as he finished the tea sinking deeper into the bath.

Downstairs, as Shouta was finishing up the meal he heard the door open and the cats being their usual antics when their kids got home. Hitoshi, 15, and Eri 6, walk through the door announcing their return. "Dad, Papa we are home!" Shota hears little Eri call from the door as she picks up Tofu and brings him with her to see what her dad is up to. "Your papa is in the bath upstairs," Shota starts to explain, "it's been a long day for him and he's trying to relax some before dinner". "That makes sense as to why he seemed so distant in class earlier," Hitoshi answered as he too came into the kitchen to find out what's going on. "You kids go get cleaned up for dinner, and Toshi can you please feed the cats? Everything should be done in the next 10 minutes. I'll go get your papa so he can be ready as well when it is finished."

With the meal complete and family time had, they are ready to wind down for bed. "And that little listener is the tale of Jack and the Beanstalk," Hizashi finished reading to his favorite little bitty listeners. "Good night baby girl have sweet dreams." Shouta whispered as he and her papa gently kissed the little girl's forehead and closed her door. As the two tired dads cross the hall to bid goodnight to Hitoshi they notice that he is already asleep. Something they are both immensely grateful for because their son has just as many issues sleeping as his dad. "Good night little listener," Hizashi whispers as Shouta is saying "good night son". They close the purple haired teen's door and make their way to their own room, both too tired and worked up for anything more than a kiss goodnight and cuddles as Mochi and Tofu curl up at the foot of the bed ready to sleep.
