"Thank you Recovery Girl", Hizashi was saying as he gathered up his few belongings and the get well cards everyone had sent over the last few days. "Not a problem Mr. Mic, remember to take a few days rest to make sure you're back in top shape but other than that you're good to go."
As Hizashi and Toshi are leaving the infirmary, Hizashi makes a call to Mrs. Midoriya. "Yes ma'am, thank you again for keeping Eri last night. I was hoping to be discharged from the care of Recovery Girl but my body had other plans and I fell asleep," Hizashi explained. "Oh Mr. Mic she was no trouble at all. Such a very sweet girl you got there, I'm sorry however about Me. Aizawa, I hope they find him soon. I know Izuku misses his home room teacher, and I'm sure the rest of the students do as well." "I agree, Mrs. Midoriya. I know I miss him and I'm sure the kids do as well." Hizashi answered, sounding more reserved than Toshi has ever heard his papa. "Anyway Mrs. Midoriya, Toshi and I are on our way to come get Eri, and I would like to compensate you for your impromptu babysitting. Please let me bring some brunch for everyone to show appreciation." "Oh Mr. Mic you don't have to do that, little Eri was no trouble at all as I said. I can have her ready when you get here if you would like? I know Izuku is having fun playing with her. Between you and I, I know Zuku always wanted a sibling but it just wasn't in the cards for us I'm afraid. This has been good for him. I just wish it was under better circumstances. Just know Mr. Mic if you or Mr Aizawa ever need anyone to watch her, she and your family are always welcome here!" Mrs. Midoriya gushed. "Well thank you ma'am. We appreciate that and we will be there shortly." Mic answered.
Forty five minutes later Hizashi and Hitoshi pulled up outside Izuku and Inko's apartment with food in hand after making a pit stop at home to feed Mochi and Tofu. As Zashi was about to knock on the door Mrs. Midoriya opened it, arms spread wide ready to wrap the father and son duo in a big 'only a parent can duplicate' this type of hug. "Welcome welcome come in come come!" Mrs. Midoriya said with a rush of excitement, gently tugging the boys into the apartment. "Thank you again Mrs. Midoriya for keeping Eri and being such a sweet person." Hizashi said, kicking his shoes off at the door. "Please, call me Inko." "Ok Inko," Hizashi says, trying the name out, "as long as you agree to call me Hizashi," he countered.
Stepping deeper into the apartment, Hitoshi goes to find Eri while the adults set the food out on the table. "I hope you like blueberry waffles and fruit," Zashi said, setting the table. "It looks wonderful, thank you again Hizashi. Although you didn't have to," Inko said with a kind smile. "You go get the kids and have them wash up, I can finish up here," Inko said sweetly.
A few minutes later everyone was around the table enjoying their meal when Eri spoke up, "Papa, have they found daddy yet?" Her eyes hopeful in her innocent question. Taking a deep breath Hizashi goes to answer but Toshi steps in saving their papa from breaking his baby girl's heart. "No they haven't yet, but now that papa is out of the infirmary the search is going to go much better Eri, I'm sure that we will find him in no time." Hitoshi answers her giving a great big smile that no one is accustomed to seeing on the teen. "Thank you," Hizashi whispers to his son. "No worries, I don't want to worry her anymore than she already is. She's already seen too much pain as is, if I can help make her feel better it's the least I can do. Plus what are big brothers for?" Hitoshi answered, voice also hushed.
