With the food delivered and the occupants of the room as comfortable as they can be with the awkwardness of the situation. "You were right, Eraser, you were unconscious overnight. That wasn't our intention on how to get one of the heroes to speak with, although it did become a convenient alternative. This way there was no fighting and no chance for someone to become more so unnecessarily injured. I apologize for that again." Hawks supplied the beginning of the explanation with Shigaraki looking almost bored next to the blonde hero.

"I won't be accepting any form of apology until we get to the bottom of whatever is going on. I do hope you know that," Aizawa retorted. "I'm not usually one that appreciates the whole 'kidnap and hold for ransom' bit that some villains have." The underground hero stated with air quotes. "Ah but that's the best part, Eraser," Shigaraki said. "If we, with all of our supporting evidence, help you to understand what's really going on behind the shadows you work so well in, there will be no need for ransom. In fact, you may even come to see our side of this. Hawks get the documents out will ya? You've been masquerading around as the commission's lap dog long enough, no pun intended birdman; that I believe we have all the supporting documents to our case that we can bring the details to light to those who aren't wrapped around the commission's little finger. Starting with you Eraser. You've never really cared about spotlight work and as such you may just be the best pro for this task." Shigaraki finished his monologue as Hawks sat the files on the table.

"Take a look at these Aizawa, it's photos, voice memos, and even copied documents commandeered from the commission while I have been in their employment." The winged hero states as he pushes the files towards the raven haired man sitting across the table from him. Aizawa, taking the files in hand, inspects them closely and what he sees is appalling. "As I said Eraser, I've had plenty of time to gather everything because the commission 'took me in'," Hawks began with air quotes to match the previous ones done by the man in front of him. "They wanted to raise the perfect hero. I, as a child, didn't realize what that would come to mean until it was too late. All of the rigorous training, albeit doing me good in the end, and forfeiting my name and mother all in hopes of becoming like the man I had once admired; the hero Endeavor. It was his desire to pass the Number One hero All Might that made me look up to him. Anyway, no I may not have had the best childhood, I learned things about my parents that no child should ever have to learn, but at the time it's not to say I didn't love them but I also wanted an 'out' so to speak. So when the commission approached my mother to take me in and raise me to be the best hero the world had ever known and give her an out for what she had done, she took it. Hell, I jumped at the chance too, it was the out I had been looking for and the chance to show the world my worth as a hero. So, mother sold me to the commission. Neither of us fully understanding what that would come to mean in the upcoming years." Hawks paused to let Aizawa fully take in the information in front of him.

The first thing the underground hero noted was how all the photos were showing different quirk users throughout the years, some who eventually went to UA and became heroes and others who were dealt a rough hand in life that had gone on to become villains. Some of the villains, he was sure, were in the compound that they were sitting in now. However the photo that truly made Eraser stop and think was the photo that made his blood run cold. No longer wondering if the men before him were legitimate or if they were just trying to gain the help of his quirk for something menacing was the photo he now held in his hand. It couldn't have been taken more than a week ago. As Aizawa sat there, mouth going dry, staring at the not quite smiling face of his own son, circled in red on the photo, surrounded but the known 'Bakusquad' of class 1A, holding his baby girl on the day she came to his class to have lunch with them and her papa.

"Eraser, you've gone pale. Do you believe us now?" Hawks asked, actual concern for the quirk erasing hero in front of him being heard in his voice. Shouta, not able to form words yet, slowly nods not taking his eyes from the photo but gesturing for the men before him to continue. "As you can see, they have extensive knowledge on what they are calling 'targets' we need to keep an eye on. Calling their quirks potentially villainous. I mean, they were right about some of them. Spinner for one, mocked and bullied for his outward appearance that he became a villain. Even Toga wasn't always the bloodthirsty monster that she's seen as now. She was once a good kid and her quirk could have had a lot of sway in undercover missions seeing as to how she can take on not only the appearance but the sound of anyone just by tasting their blood. However, because she was abandoned she views the world with resentment thus turning to a life of crime." Shigaraki picked up the explanation.

"Even I, if properly cared for, could have been seen as a hero under the right circumstances," he continued. "Look at your own students Eraser, the one called Tokoyami, he in appearance is a lot like Spinner. Had he been manipulated the way Spinner was, do you think he'd be a hero in training currently? There is also Shinso," Aizawa visibly stiffened at the mention of his son's name, "what's his quirk again? Brainwashing hmm, now that's truly a remarkably villainous quirk. Having the ability to take over and control anyone who responds to him. Even your very own principal Nezu. We all know he still resents humanity for all the experimentation he had to endure. He could easily be a villainous mastermind with all the intellect that mouse has. Let's look at some others who could have easily turned sour if given the chance. Gang Orca for one. His ability to analyze the situation and strategize on his feet, which makes him truly dangerous on land and sea. Then there is also Midnight, her quirk if in the wrong hands, would spell disaster for the heroes. "So now, with all that being said, I'm working to try to make sure others who are seen as villainous don't get pushed away to actually become such. I do have a bit of a heart left after destroying the family that treated me like the dirt I turned them into," the dust villain finished both resolved and sad in the same breath.
