Zoro and Kuina clashed against each other as Kuro watched.

He could see that they were fast and attacked with full power.

Currently, the two of them had been fighting for four hours, which was a new record.

Their tenacity and endurance were amazing.

However, he could see they were tiring and would give out soon.

As he expected, they soon reached their limit.

Zoro fell to the ground first with Kuina managing to remain standing with heavy breathing.

Ever since Zoro had unlocked observation haki, he had been able to give her a very hard time.

Kuro hadn't unlocked observation haki yet, but when he did, she wanted to fight both him and Zoro at the same time to improve her observation haki further.

"Kuro, how far can observation be improved?"

Kuro shrugged, "I don't know, but I do know that it can be improved to the point of detecting all on an island and being able to see ten seconds in the future."

Zoro struggled up as he couldn't believe Kuro's words.

Kuina too was at lost for words at observation haki potential.

She grinned, "The best way to keep improving it would be to fight others with observation right?"

"Yep," Kuro smiled.

Kuina turned to look at Zoro who gulped.

Zoro was starting to think Kuina was more of a training maniac than him.

Kuina then remembered that Kuro didn't have observation haki yet and turned back to him.

"Get observation haki soon, I want to fight both of you at the same time."

Kuro laughed, "Sorry, but I have other training that I want to focus on so I probably won't be getting observation anytime soon.

Kuina tilted her head and wondered what kind of training was better or more important than observation haki.

"What training?" Kuina curiously questioned.

Kuro laughed at Kuina's curiosity and started to explain Rokushiki.

As Kuina and Zoro listened to him, the two of them grew more and more excited as they realized there was another type of training they could do, Kuro could see the excitement in them.

"Unless you have monstrous talent, it's best to focus on one type of training. Currently, I'm training Geppo so I can fly around one day. Both of you are talented with the sword, so I suggest you keep training with armament and observation."

Hearing his words, Kuina and Zoro felt their mood drop as they knew they shouldn't chew more than they could.

However, Kuina still wanted to fight against two observation haki users.

"I still want you to get observation haki soon though," Kuina stated.

Listening to her, Kuro knew observation could help with swordsmithing so he decided to fulfill Kuina's wish.

"Alright alright."

Seeing him agree, Kuina became happy and continued to train with Zoro.

Zoro, Kuina, and Kuro fought against each other underwater with wooden swords.

Their attacks were weaker and slower and it was very hard to pull any flashy move.

The first to go up to the surface of the water loses.

Zoro and Kuina had great endurance, but Kuro was part brawler so he was able to easily be the last one to surface.

This was not the first time Kuina finally lost and she felt her pride still stung even though she knew Kuro trained more with his endurance.

At least she beat Zoro though and that was at least a small win in her book.

The three got to shore and layed in the warm sand.

Zoro spoke with heavy breath, "Hey, are there other ways to beat those invincible logia you told us about without seastone, seawater, or their specific weakness?"

Kuro gathered his thoughts, "Yes."

Kuina became curious, "What are they?"

"You can use haki to injure logia and resist their attacks. For paramecia with weird abilities, you can easily negate their ability using haki. As for Zoan, you can also use haki to force your way through their defense. What I'm trying to say is, if your haki is strong enough, you can easily crush most devil fruit users." Kuro answered.

Zoro suddenly had a thought.

"Hey Kuro, what's the strongest haki user."

Kuro smiled at the sky and organized his thoughts for Zoro.

"One of the strongest haki users is the pirate king Gold Roger but he's dead. Currently, I believe the four emperors are the strongest haki user. From what I know, they can split the sky in half if they clash against each other."

"The four emperors?" Kuina curiously questioned.

Kuro's smile grew as he thought of impressing them.

"You two don't know about the emperors so let me introduce them to you."

With that, Kuro started to introduce the emperors as Zoro and Kuina listened carefully.

"They say if it's a one-on-one, whether it be on land, sea, or air, you can bet on Kaido the strongest creature."

"They say if Big Mom invites you to her party, you'll die if you go and you'll die if you refuse to go."

"They say if you touch one of Whitebeard's sons, he'll shatter the world before you."

"They say if you see red hair Shank, his sheer badassness will stop you from trying anything funny."

"Those are the four emperors of the seas and are currently the pirates closest to the one piece."

"The one piece!?" Zoro looked incredulously at Kuro.

Kuina too looked incredulously at Kuro, "Is the one piece even real, isn't it just a prank pulled by Gold Roger?"

Kuro looked at Kuina shocked and hurt, "Of course the one piece is real."

Kuro smiled, "My source is trust me sis."

Kuina rolled her eyes at his source to almost her every question.

"Is any of the emperors a swordsman?" Zoro asked.

"Big Mom and Shank are both swordsmen," replied Kuro.

Kuina had a thought, "You said Kaido is the strongest creature, so is he the strongest emperor?"

Kuro shook his head and started to explain.

"Shank has the strongest haki, Kaido is physically the strongest, Whitebeards has a devil fruit that can destroy the world so he has the strongest attack, and Big Mom is the most balanced."

"You said if it's a one-on-one bet on Kaido though," Kuina countered.

Kuro shrugged and explained.

"If Whitebeard hits Kaido enough, Kaido is pretty much down. If Shanks cuts Kaido, Kaido is pretty much down. Honestly, Kaido is around the third strongest emperor with Big Mom being the weakest."

"So women are weaker than men?" Kuina stated suspiciously.

Kuro became exasperated and Zoro started laughing.

"Big Mom isn't weak, she's just not as... Not as chad as the other emperors."

"Chad?" Kuina and Zoro questioned,

Kuro waved his hand, "A story for another time, let's go back to training."

Although Kuina and Zoro wanted to know more, they could see that Kuro wouldn't give any more info so they went back into the water to train.

Kuina was about to head outside to do some personal training when she spotted stairs that have always been at the entrance, her one and true archnemesis.

Taking a deep breath, Kuina walked towards the stairs.

'Oh, you're walking towards me?' The stair seemed to beckon arrogantly.

'I can't get outside without walking down you,' Kuina thought to herself.

'Then come as close as you like,' the stairs beckoned menacingly.

Kuina stopped at the stair and took a deep breath.

Her observation haki turned fully on.

A surprise she had gotten used to, she could feel death if she walked down the stairs.

Carefully, she put a foot forward and another foot down.

'You fool, you fell right into my trap,' the stairs seemed to yell as Kuina could feel herself about to fall.

Luckily, Kuro was behind her and he grabbed her shirt.

Kuina managed to regain her calm and quickly got to the bottom of the stair.

She turned to look at Kuro and he spoke exasperated.

"Seriously sis, it's only like a few steps, why are you struggling."

Kuina became flushed at his words and angrily spoke back.

"Well, why don't you walk down it then!?"

Immediately, she regretted her words as Kuro walked down all the steps like he did the most majestic thing ever.

Kuina groaned inside and decided to leave.

As she walked away, she knew her brother would be by the stairs when she came back.

That warmed her heart as she quickly forgot about him trolling her.

Finally managing to cut wood in water, Kuina felt her arrogance soar.

She came back to the beach and looked at the two mortals before her.

They looked at happy at her success and she became pleased with herself.

"Try the stone," Zoro yelled and Kuro nodded.

Kuina understood and went up to a giant boulder.

She swung her sword and managed to cut into the boulder but it did not fully go through.

The three of them expected that though.

Pulling her sword back, she decided to put all her will into the next attack and easily cut the entire boulder in half.

Zoro and Kuro clapped happily and excitedly.

"Let's celebrate," Kuro yelled.

Kuina looked at Kuro strangely as she wanted to continue training more since she just succeeded in cutting stone.

"I want to train more Kuro," Kuina stated.

Zoro nodded with closed eyes and understanding as he understood why Kuina wanted to continue training since she had just succeeded at training.

Kuro sighed and rolled his eyes as Zoro and Kuina took in his reaction.

"What if I say our celebration has special training in it?"

'Special training!' Zoro and Kuina's eyes beamed.

"Let's go then!" Kuina yelled with a smile.

"Yeah, what are we waiting for!" Zoro grinned excitedly.

Kuro liked the reaction and the three of them went to a restaurant.

They were served many foods and they started eating immediately.

"So what's the special training?" asked Kuina with a mouthful of food.

"The training is being able to hold your concentration while being drunk. The first one to fall loses. Only you and Zoro will be competing as someone needs to take both of you home. Also don't tell dad or we'll never be able to do this type of training again till we become adults."

A server came and placed a bottle of alcohol on the table and left.

Immediately, Zoro and Kuina stared at each other with competition in their eyes.

The two started drinking as Kuro watched and ate.

Kuina threw up but Kuro kept smiling and walking.

The sleeping Zoro was carried by him princess style.

"Kuro, Kuroooo, Kurooooooooo," whined Kuina.

"Yes, sis?" Kuro wondered and answered.

"Did I, did I, did I win?"

"Uhmmm..." Kuro paused, "Yes you did."

"What's with that pause?" Kuina asked suspiciously, "Did I win or did I not?"

"You did you did," Kuro quickly answered.

Although drunk Kuina didn't fully believe it, she decided to trust his words.

The two reached their home and Kuro put Zoro into a bed in another room and brought Kuina to her room.

He Kuina in bed and covered her up with a blanket.

As he was about to go clean the vomit on him, Kuina grabbed his wrist.

"Kuro, I know I'm drunk right now, but my observation haki tells me you're very conflicted for me... Can you tell me why?"

Kuro became silent for a moment but then decided to share his feelings.

Kuina tried to listen carefully to every word.

"You and Zoro, to become the world greatest swordsman, it's a very big dream. I know how big the world out there is. I worry for the two of you but mainly for you. I don't know what I'd do if you were gone one day. You're too precious to me to lose. But I know I'll have to let you go one day. While I'm still with you, I'll continue to worry for you Kuina."

The two of them became silent as Kuina gathered her thoughts and took in Kuro's feelings.

"Kuro, I don't want to lose you either. You're very precious to me too. Too precious for me to lose. If you worry that much for me, then I'm willing to give up my dream for you."

Silent descended again and Kuro soon replied.

"You only live once Kuina, I think you should strive to accomplish the dream you want. I want to support you and make your dream come true so don't give up on your dream. Although I worry where your dream will take you, I'll make sure to try my best to prepare you for it."

A quick moment of silence passed.

"Thank you Kuro," Kuina said and fell asleep.

Kuro kissed her forehead and left her to clean himself up and go to bed.

In another room, Zoro stared up at the ceiling with thoughts passing in his head after hearing the conversation between the two siblings with his observation haki.

Although Zoro didn't say it, Kuro and Kuina felt like older siblings to him.

To him, they were very precious.

Emptying his head, Zoro fell asleep.
