"Kuro where are we going?" Zoro questioned as he stared into the sea.

"I don't know," Kuro answered.

Kuina turned her head towards Kuro and her mouth hung open.

They had been sailing on the sea for five hours already and Kuro didn't know where they were going?

She grabbed him by his collar and looked him dead in the eyes.

"This better be another prank."

Kuro stared back stone face at her and then started laughing.

Kuina closed her eyes and could feel that Kuro wasn't very worried about their situation so he probably knew where they were going.

She let go of him and went back to staring at the endless ocean.

Kuro breathed a sigh of relief as he somewhat knew where they were headed but didn't quite know.

Currently, they were all grown up and ready to make a name for themselves in the East Blue.

Kuro stared back at the ocean and realized something.

He was going to keep seeing the same view over and over for many more years to come.

The thought of unending boredom scared Kuro.

Maybe the life of a bounty hunter wasn't for him.

"Zoro, Kuina, I've just realized something. Seeing the same view in the ocean is going to make me extremely bored and the thought of unending boredom scares me."

Kuina wanted to sigh.

"What did you expect, this is literally the life of any sailor."

"I was expecting danger at every moment. At least two days of danger and five days of peace."

Kuina wanted to facepalm.

Zoro gave some advice, "If you want to be strong, you have to at least endure the mental boredom of the sea. If you can't, just sleep through it."

Kuro immediately liked Zoro's idea.

"Well, sis, you heard Zoro, time for me to get some shut eyes."

With that, Kuro laid back and closed his eyes.

Zoro too laid back and closed his eyes.

Kuina wanted to hit the both of them on the head but decided not to.

Looking back at the sea, the boredom slowly crept toward her.

Keeping her observation haki up, Kuina laid back in the boat and also fell asleep.

Without their attention, their boat kept moving.

A long while passed and Kuina's observation warned her of a small danger.

Without opening her eyes or looking up at the sky, she could detect a giant bird that wanted to steal their food.

When the giant bird came close down toward their boat, Kuina sent an energy sword slash and cut the giant bird in half.

Blood and gore spilled out from the bird and fell towards them.

Zoro, Kuina, and Kuro synchronized their sword and created a wave of sharp air that blew the blood and gore from falling onto them.

The only thing left falling down toward them was the giant bird carcass.

They synchronized their sword again and sent out quick energy slashes that cut the giant bird's corpse into bits.

The bits fell into bags the three of them had opened up and quickly filled up.

They toss the bags by their food supply and continue sleeping.

Feeling very refreshed, the three of them opened their eyes and could see they had arrived at a city.

They got out of their boat and tied it.

Following Kuro, they went to a marine base and got a bounty book.

The three of them looked through the book.

"Who should we go for first?" Zoro wondered aloud.

"Let's go for the strongest," Kuina stated.

"Let's go for the ones we actually encounter or know the location of," Kuro explained.

They found his thoughts reasonable and agreed.

Kuro laid out his plan for the city.

"I'll go to some bars to collect information, you stay with Zoro and make sure he doesn't get lost unless you yourself want to deal with a drunkard."

Zoro became slightly embarrassed for getting called out while Kuina thought about dealing with drunkards and found herself definitely not wanting to do that.

"I'll stay with Zoro," Kuina stated.

Kuro nodded, "Alright, see you guys back at this place in two hours."

Zoro and Kuina nodded and headed off to find interesting things.

Kuro started going to bars and paid for people's drinks as he tried to pry information out of them.

Two hours passed and the three met back with each.

Kuro started laying out what he found.

"Alright, I managed to find out where two pirates are. One has a bounty of nine million, named Klerm Yarnka, he's killed a lot of innocent people. Another has a bounty of fifteen million, named Bligan Neler, he's stolen quite a lot of goods from poor filthy rich merchants so they want him dead. Now which one do you guys want to hunt down?"

"Klerm Yarnka," Kuina stated.

"Both," Zoro stated.

Kuro and Kuina thought to themselves, "Both is good," the two agreed.

"Which one is the closest?" Kuina questioned.

"Bligan Neler, it seems a merchant will be passing close by in a few days and he's probably going to attack them."

With Bligan Neler set as their first target, the three of them decided to wait in the city.

While the three were sailing, Kuro thought about how strong Luffy was.

Buggy didn't make Luffy break a sweat, Arlong gave Luffy a tough fight, Crocodile pushed Luffy to the limit, and Rob Lucci pushed Luffy past the limit.

After the two year time skip, Hody Jones didn't make Luffy break a sweat, Doflamingo gave Luffy a tough fight, Katakuri pushed Luffy to the limit, and Kaido pushed Luffy past the limit.

Thinking about, Kuro wondered if he could currently take on Crocodile.

The answer he came to was very likely.

Now could Kuro beat Luffy?

The answer was very unlikely.

Although Crocodile pushed Luffy to the limit, that was mainly because of hacks.

If Luffy and Crocodile were to punch each other one punch at a time, Luffy would easily come out on top.

Luffy before the two year time skip mainly struggled with Logia and swordsman.

In a pure physical fight, Luffy always seemed to come on top until he met a pure physical fighter like Rob Lucci.

Now that Kuro thought about it, Luffy toughest enemies are those who are physically superior to him.

People who use tricks or gimmicks against Luffy usually lost quickly once Luffy figured them out.

imagining a scenario where he fights Luffy, Kuro could see Luffy avoiding him while throwing rocks and tiring him out.

Thinking about how much a rubber band hurt, Kuro wondered how much shock and pain he would receive from Luffy if he got hit once.

Getting hit by a giant rubber band did not seem pleasant to Kuro.

Thinking about Luffy's weakness of swordsman and Logia, Kuro could see that those disappeared after Luffy got armament.

Katakuri and Kaido who had physical advantage over Luffy were the only one left that gave Luffy a tough time but even Luffy overcame them.

A Luffy with early access to haki would easily decimate Crocodile since Crocodile wouldn't be able to fully use his hacks.

As the idea fully sets in, Kuro could see that Luffy was very strong even at the early arcs, Luffy just seemed weak because of all the hackers out there.

Now that Kuro thought about it, Rob Lucci, Katakuri, and Kaido were basically the only ones who fought and withstood Luffy in a fair brawl.

Thinking of all the hackers out there and how much they disrespected Luffy, Kuro nodded to himself as he planned on getting Luffy seastone knuckles.

Let's see them try their funny stuff when they can't avoid Luffy's punch.

Thinking of all the hackers getting owned, Kuro felt a pleasure that his mind told him was a weird fetish.

Kuina and Zoro looked at him weirdly as they knew something weird was going on in his mind.

They stayed quiet and weirded out as they watch Kuro start giggling to himself.

Low and behold, the three could see Bligan Neler attacking a merchant ship.

Bligan Neler was the captain of the Blight pirates and seeing three swordsman on a boat far away didn't make him think too much.

His crew of twenty five all had guns so there was no way three swordsmans could take out his crew.

As he was about to get done gathering up all the loot he could from the merchant, Kuina and Zoro jumped on the ship and started attacking.

The two were having a contest to see who could take out the most pirates.

Bligan watched blankly as his entire crew was mowed down missing every gunfire and sword swings.

He blinked and punched himself to see if it was a dream.

It seems it wasn't a dream as Kuina came up to him and cut him down.

"Got fifteen," Kuina smugly stated.

"Eleven," Zoro admitted with defeat.

Kuro jumped onto the ship.

"Is everyone ok?" Kuro yelled out loud.

Having recovered from seeing what Zoro and Kuina did through Kuro's voice, the merchant and travelers on the ship thanked Zoro and Kuina.

The marines were called through a transponder snail and collected the pirates.

With the money the marines had brought, the three of them got paid and decided to target Klerm Yarnka next.

At a bar, the three were eating with mouth full of food.

"I know you said the fights are going to be easy, but not that easy," Kuina stated.

Zoro agreed, from what he could see and feel from their first bounty hunt, it was way too easy.

Kuro shrugged, "This is the East Blue, don't expect too much. What were you expecting anyway?"

"A challenge, Zoro stated."

Not a massacre," Kuina added.

"Don't be too disappointed, once you two rack up enough experience in the East Blue, we'll find a captain and head towards the Grand Line," Kuro explained.

"A captain," Kuina questioned with a head tilt.

"The Grand Line?" Zoro questioned with a head tilt.

Kuro nodded and bit off a piece of meat, "Yep, the Grand Line, where there are way stronger people to fight and a captain to carry us when the going gets hard."

"We're strong, why do we need a captain?" Questioned Kuina.

Zoro too wondered why.

Kuro could see that they were very confident in themselves.

He tried to explain to them why.

"Let's just say that it's better to have an umbrella for rain than no umbrella."

Kuina sighed as Kuro spoke words she couldn't fully comprehend while Zoro snickered as he didn't care too much and trusted Kuro.
