I am so sorry for the wait everyone. My mental state hasn't been the best but I'm back with another chapter. I hope y'all like it!
"Oof, hey son. Hey! Shhh shh it's ok I'm here, I'm here. I'm so sorry Toshi." Shouta said, returning the tight hug his son is giving with the same amount of tenacity. Hitoshi, afraid that letting go of his dad would mean the man disappeared again right in front of his eyes, hugs even tighter before letting go, not breaking contact to make sure he doesn't go anywhere. "I'm not going to lie dad, when Papa said you were home I thought I was dreaming although I was very excited. So much so that I woke- Denki! Oh lord, I completely forgot Denki is with me!" Looking between the two men Toshi is unable to decide who he wants to be closer to. Denki, whom he is only just now realizing the feelings he is developing, or his dad who just came home and he is afraid that if he lets go he will vanish. Noticing the position that Hitoshi is now in, Denki walks deeper into the room to stand by the other teen, both to offer support and to let him know quietly that he doesn't ever have to choose between the two. For Denki will always be there as long as Hitoshi will have him.
"Why don't we all sit down and try to unwind just a bit? I will be right back after laying Eri down, I don't want all this commotion to wake her," Hizashi asked, grabbing onto his husband's other hand gently leading him to sit on the sofa. Hitoshi and Denki follow suit, all of them cramming on the dark gray couch, knee touching knee and shoulder touching shoulder. It felt nice to be this close to everyone after the hailstorm of a time everyone had been having the last little bit. When Zashi got back, he took up residence on his husband's lap and curled up on the man like a cat. Shouta, missing the contact during the time he was gone, lazily runs his fingers through his husband's hair, gently taking the messy bun down so he has full access to the soft blonde hair at his fingertips.
Once everyone had a moment to just catch up, catch their breath, and realize that yes Shouta was home and no he wasn't going anywhere the questions erupted quite hastily, with everyone talking at once. Even Denki was asking questions, partaking in the conversation like he fully belonged there. {Unbeknownst to all of them Denki was right where he belonged.}
"Ok, ok one at a time, I can only understand and answer one question at a time so let's all take a deep steadying breath and try this again," Shouta said with a small chuckle, using the same breathing techniques on two teens and his husband that he usually uses for Eri. "However, before we launch into this discussion I need to let you all know that it is going to be a hefty topic. Is everyone up for that right now considering the hour? If we all agree then please let me go get the documents I brought home, if not we can hold this discussion tomorrow. I promise I'm not going anywhere." The three men each nodded their heads, none really wanting to wait till the morning to hear what had been going on with the man in question. "That settles it, I will be right back," Shouta said, standing while holding his husband to his chest, gently stooping to set the man on his feet. "Not so fast my dear husband, I just got you back and I'm not quite ready to let you out of my sight yet," Hizashi said seriously, wrapping his lithe body around that of his husband. Shouta, chuckling, carried his husband into the kitchen.
When the two pros got back to the living room they noticed the two teens lightly leaning against one another seemingly taking comfort in the presence of the other. Softly clearing his throat, Shouta spoke. "Well here it is," he said, waving the paper with one hand and making sure Zash doesn't fall with the other. Going to the big arm chair at the side of the sofa Sho sits, keeping his grip on his blonde while placing the paper on the coffee table in front of them all. "As I stated, the topic is quite heavy and as a disclaimer I need you all to understand that I won't let anything happen to any of you. That being said," Shouta flips the paper over, revealing the photo that SHigaraki and Hawks had shown him. "There is a lot to talk about," he finishes, looking at the stunned faces around him.
Giving the three a moment to take in what they see before them, Shouta lightly rubs his hand up and down his husband's back. Looking between them and the photo, the eraser hero notices three sets of eyes looking at him both in horror and in question, not fully understanding what it is they see but also budding anger behind their eyes. One because his children are circled in red, one because he and his baby sister are being targeted (or so he thinks), and one because his friend (hopefully more) has been spied on and by whom he wasn't sure but he wants to help in any way possible. Denki, startled by the realization that he has a slight possessive streak, not that that is bad in the right scenarios, reaches out and grabs Hitoshi's hand.
Looking at each other then back to Shouta, the first to speak is also the one least expected to. Denki looks to his teacher and simply asks, "Why?"
