AN: I suddenly feel a strong urge to write a new fanfic. With the way the story is headed, things are getting too serious for me to feel any fun in writing. I feel like this story doesn't have any substance, substance I enjoy writing. As for ships, sorry man, but Kuro, let's say Kuro's different and not the different that you think he is.

The strawhats stared at Kuro.

Kuro started pacing around, "Hmmmmm, I wonder where I should start with the four transcendent legends... Ah, I know!"

The strawhats watched as Kuro pulled out his glasses and put them on.

"You see, it all began on the day I was born. The day was special as I was supposed to die from childbirth but I lived."

Usopp and Chopper wondered how while the rest wondered what kind of fake story was this.

"Surviving childbirth, I consider myself very lucky. Even more lucky since I had a twin."

Kuina thought back to the sight of baby Kuro.

"From birth, I was very smart and I considered this very lucky. As for my twin Kuina, she picked up the sword and was very good at it. She was very lucky in my opinion."

Kuina thought back to the days she first picked up the sword.

"My sister having talent with the sword was lucky, but luckier was our family being famed swordsmen with good swords."

Usopp and Chopper took in the fact Kuro was from a famed swordsmen family with shiny eyes.

"One day, my sister became the top dog, and her talent was stunted as none was her equal. Luckily for her, a kid named Zoro showed up and gave her a challenge that helped her grow. She was very lucky indeed."

Everyone could see that there was a lot of luck in the story.

"Zoro and Kuina grew strong and fast, but luckier for them, I had a friend who could help them grow even faster."

Zoro and Kuina could suddenly see that they had indeed been very lucky.

"One day, I saw a child who was swinging their sword. I saw they did not have talent, a good sword, belong to a famous swordsmen family, or a good teacher."

Everyone wondered where Kuro was going with this.

"Suddenly I realized, my sister and Zoro had everything they needed while the child didn't. Why weren't they as lucky as Zoro and my sister? I found it unnerving and unfair."

Kuina and Zoro narrowed their eyes.

"Some people are born stronger, faster, or smarter, all because they were luckier."

Where was Kuro going with this was all everyone wondered?

Kuro grinned, "My sister and Zoro's dream were to become the world's greatest swordsmen, I wanted to see if their luck could get them there."

Usopp and Chopper felt the story get exciting.

"When we were old enough, we set out to sea searching for the most dangerous game. Battle after battle we fought, and not once did we fail. What amazing luck."

More like hard work, Zoro and Kuina thought.

"When Zoro and Kuina reached their limit, they wanted to head into the Grand Line, but I knew for sure we wouldn't survive the Grand Line's weather."

Zoro and Kuina smiled as they remembered the most frustrating time.

No matter how many times they pestered Kuro, he refused.

"One day, we were about to pass by a village that was getting harassed. Kuina and Zoro went in and beat the harasser, and wouldn't you know it, we found the best navigator in the East Blue there. Was it luck or was it coincidence, I found it very suspicious."

Nami smiled at the memory of Kuina saving her village.

"Although we had a navigator and could head into the Grand Line, I wanted to test luck and see if I could make the luckiest crew for Zoro and Kuina."

Everyone's eyes widened and wondered.

"I searched the East Blue and found the luckiest guy I could, Captain Luffy."

Luffy wowed at the thought of being the luckiest guy.

"I then found a guy whose luck should be second to Cap. Lool and behold, Zoro and Kuina couldn't beat them, but Cap did."

Zoro and Kuina became embarrassed at the memory.

"From then on, I decided to watch Cap do his Cap stuff."

Nami fell into her memory of the events.

"We saved the village of a guy named Usopp, such a lucky guy, if we hadn't met him, his village and girlfriend would have died. But luckier were us as he was the son of one of the best snipers in the world."

Usopp seemed to gasp.

"We went to Baratie and got a cook who smelled very lucky, and lucky he was, for Mihawk was there to save his old man's restaurant, even if we hadn't gone there."

Sanji wondered how he smelled funny.

"So far, the luck was working and our crew's luck was amassing."

Everyone was still skeptical st Kuro's idea of luck.

"To find the one piece, Cap needed an archeologist who can read the maps to one piece."

Robin's eyes widened a little as she could see where this was going.

"Was Is it coincidence or was it woe? An archeologist showed up. Kinda reeks of suspicion, not gonna lie. Or maybe it was luck."

"It's probably all coincidence," Nami muttered.

Kuro adjusted his shining glasses.

"After leaving Little Garden, Nami became sick. Now that was very lucky or we wouldn't have picked up Chopper and saved his island from Wapol. Such a lucky reindeer, he had to join our crew."

At this point, Usopp and Chopper were full-on believers of luck.

"I remember I gave Nami a lucky coin, don't know what she did with it, anyway, I'm sure you all know the rest of our lucky story of how we saved Vivi's country. Vivi's luck was quite high honestly. I wished we'd gotten her to stay with us."

Kuro turned to Robin, "What makes a transcendent legend special is the extreme amount of luck they have, second only to Cap."

Wow, just wow, was all the crew could think as they felt their mind blown.

Leaving a plains island, Kuro wondered why they didn't encounter Foxy.

Well, let's get ready for Kuzan then.

Strolling through a forest, the strawhats came upon a sleeping man and Robin became stiff.

Kuro smiled, "Well well well well well well well, if it isn't admiral Aokiji. I was hoping they sent Akainu but this is fine."

Hearing Kuro's words, the strawhats became stiff and ready for action.

"So that's an admiral," muttered Sanji.

"He's so tall!" Chopper hid behind Robin.

"So you're here to beat us up!" Luffy yelled.

"Save me Kuina!" Nami and Usopp cried.

Zoro glared at the admiral.

Aokiji stood up from his sleep with a yawn, "Didn't expect you were expecting me."

Kuro shrugged, "I mean, our bounty is shooting through the roof, so we had to expect something."

"Ooooo, you seem very smart, I've heard a lot about you," Aokiji dully gazed.

Kuro stared at Kuzan, "I heard you have ice power with a warm heart, I heard Akainu has magma power with a cold heart, and I heard Kizaru has light power and talks and moves as slow hell."

"You're not wrong," Aokiji chuckled, his gaze then hardened, "Now what should I do with all of you?"

Luffy went to the front, "Try anything and I'll beat you up."

Kuzan seemed to woah at Luffy picking a fight, he held up his hand with a smile, "Actually, I'm off duty, so there's no need to fight."

Luffy O and then smiled, "Guess you're not a bad guy."

Kuzan smiled and looked at Robin, "That crewmate of yours, I think I know her, I heard she brings a lot of trouble for people she hangs out with."

Robin steeled her gaze and remained calm.

"Don't talk about Robin like that!" Luffy yelled.

"I mean Crocodile did get busted by you Cap," Kuro laughed.

"Who's side are you on!?" Nami yelled.

"Crocodile was weak!" Luffy huffed.

Kuzan arched an eye at that, he'd never heard a warlord get called weak by a weakling.

"For real Cap, all that dude knew was monologuing," Kuro agreed, "As if monologuing could beat anyone."

Suddenly, Kuzan felt the urge to fight them and Kuina detected it.

"Looks like you wanna fight," Kuina glared.

The strawhats turned their attention back on Kuzan and everything became tense.

Robin's heart beat more rapidly, as she did not like where this was going.

Sanji walked forth, "Power me up Kuro, I'll give him a fight."

Kuro nodded and disappeared to Sanji.

Kuzan eye's widened as he felt Sanji's aura change.

"Hoh," Kuzan smiled.

Sanji stared at Kuzan, "Give us space."

Luffy didn't seem to want to but Zoro grabbed him.

Looking at Zoro's calm eyes, Luffy stared at Sanji worryingly and backed away.

Sanji blew out one last smoke and crushed his smoke.

Sanji disappeared and his leg appeared in front of Kuzan's face.

Kuzan's face shattered into ice.

Sanji gritted his teeth, Kuzan had reacted fast enough to avoid his attacks.

Kizan formed behind Sanji and landed his hand on Sanji to turn Sanji to ice.

Sanji reacted and delivered a kick that Kuzan avoided by tilting his head.

"No way," Nami muttered.

Spinning, Sanji sent a kick into Kuzan's chest that shattered Kuzan into ice.

Kuzan reformed far away and looked at his hand, "Why couldn't I turn you into ice?"

"You're pretty slippery," muttered Sanji as he set his foot on fire.

Sanji shot forward and shattered Kuzan.

"Give me observation haki," Sanji gritted.

Immediately, Sanji felt his perception of time slow, and his mind open.

Kuzan reformed far away again, "No matter what I do, I can't seem to turn you into ice, I wonder why."

"That's cause Kuro is a ghost, only haki work on him," Luffy yelled.

The strawhats looked deadpanned at their captain.

"Shitty Captain, you didn't have to reveal that!" Sanji yelled.

"I see, thank you for the information," Kuzan calmly replied.

Kuzan appeared in front of Sanji and delivered a punch.

Sanji retaliated with a kick.

A sound of impact formed and the two were pushed away from each other.

Sanji's eyes darkened, from their clash, he had felt how vast and strong Kuzan's haki was.

"I won't be able to do much with the haki you have Kuro, give me a full power-up," Sanji gritted.

"Bad idea, your body won't be able to take it," replied Kuro.

"Anything for Robin-Chan, besides, I think you're underestimating me," Sanji stared coldly at Kuxan.

"Perhaps I am," Kuro replied thinking about the amazing science of Germa 66.

Immediately, Sanji felt a huge power-up.

Kuzan's observation haki screamed at him and his eyes hardened, "That's amazing," he turned to the straw hats, "I think you'll be able to handle any problem Nico Robin causes."

With a smile, Kuzan started turning to ice, "I'm still off duty so I'll let you all go this time."

Kuzan shattered into sparkly ice and disappeared.

After a while, the strawhats felt he was truly gone.

"That was scary," Usopp breathed.

"I don't want to see him again," Nami cried.

"I don't want to meet any of them," Chopper cried.

"He was strong," Zoro muttered.

"Very strong," Kuina stared coldly at the surroundings.

"Can't believe he ran away," Luffy huffed.

"Are you ok Robin-Chan!" Sanji's heart eyes.

"Yes, Sanji," Robin nodded.

Everyone stopped and looked at Robin, she had called Sanji by his name.

"Is there something on my face?" Robin questioned blankly.

Kuina shook her head with a sigh, "No, it's just that it's the first time you called any of us by our names."

Robin O'd as she realized she had indeed did.

"Yay, Robin- Chan called my name first!" Sanji swooned.

"No fair, I want her to call my name first," Luffy whined.

"No, me!" Chopper butted.

"No, me!" Nami stated.

"Looks like you believe in that luck story," Kuro's voice sounded from Sanji.

Robin looked at Sanji strangely, "It wasn't real?"

"Oh no it was, I'm just surprised you believed in superstition," Kuro elaborated.

"The fights over, you can come out!" Sanji yelled.

"Eh sorry Sanji, but your body is going to be in a lot of pain and hurt if I do. I want Chopper to patch you up as I slowly release the damage," Kuro elaborated.

Sanji seemed to O as Chopper quickly went to him to check the damage.

"What kind of power-up did you give for Sanji to end up this badly!?" Chopper yelled as he checked the condition of Sanji's body.

"Eh, I feel fine," muttered Sanji.

"That's cause Kuro is holding back the pain and damage you moron!" Chopper shark teethed.

"Eh, what'd you say emergency food supply?" Sanji taunted.

"Love cook," Chopper yelled back.

Zoro nodded sagely as if he found his disciple.

"What would have happened if Sanji didn't power up?" questioned Nami.

"Eh, he would have let us go since we did technically save Smoker's life. I believe Smoker is his favorite boy who he wishes to take his position one day," Kuro's voice sounded.
