Also, how dare you assume I do drug just because the summary has crack in it. You think I'm doing crack while writing this? The audacity, the atrocious, the arrogance. /s /j
"Kuro, how did you get so strong?" questioned Usopp.
Everyone perked up wondering how Kuro did it.
Kuro put down the newspaper, "It all started all the day I was born, I started learning the six powers, swordsmanship, and haki."
"You make it sound simple," Usopp sweatdropped.
Kuro nodded, "For the six powers, I had to run and move my body constantly every day. Everyday I was sore and wanted to die."
"Why didn't you stop?" questioned Usopp curiosly.
Kuro sighed, "I wanted to stop everyday. But Trust Me Bro was a firm believer of work young and waste old. Anytime I wanted to rest or sleep, he'd start talking about how much of a little brat I was."
"That would drive me crazy," Usopp awed.
"And you know the first worst part Usopp?" Kuro sighed.
"What?" Usopp wondered.
"After I obtained the six power, swordsmanship, and haki, he said I was only vice admiral level. I replied with good enough and he told me vice admirals are only fodder," Kuro face scrunched, "He said if I didn't find a devil fruit, he would annoy me to death."
"Is that what started the quest for the rumble rumble fruit?" Questioned Robin.
Kuro nodded, "Yeah, Trust Me Bro already knew it's location and we just had to get it. However, he said I would have to become a marine admiral after obtaining it."
"You didn't want to become an admiral did you?" Zoro smiled.
Tashigi looked shocked wondering why.
"Didn't want to become a lapdog of the World Government," Kuro shook his head.
"I'm guessing Trust Me Bro annoyed you until you ate a devil fruit?" Kuina smiled.
Kuro held a a thumbs up, "Yep."
"So that's it?" Usopp awed.
Kuro shook his head, "Sadly no, he forced me to perfect the spook spook fruit to what you see today."
In front of everyone's eye, Kuro arms turned to magma and ice.
"No way!" Tashigi stood up.
Kuro shrugged and the magma and ice receded in.
"Trust Me Bro is still pestering me to this day, he said if I didn't control the spook spook fruit to the cellular level, he was going to walk the plank," Kuro sighed.
"You're training regiment sounds insane, I'd have gone insane," Luna jaws hung open.
Kuro smiled tiredly, "Yeah, I wish I could just laze around all day."
Zoro remembered something, "How did our haki pass through him?"
Kuro took a sip of tea, "While I'm training, Trust Me Bro is always working on side projects. Many of them have succeeded and are incredible. I don't know what projects he's working on right now, but the one where your haki attacks passed through was one of them. He told me he abandoned the project though, the risk was too high and the reward was too low."
"Teach me," Zoro and Kuina stated.
Kuro shrugged, "I don't know how, your best bet is Luna."
"Me?" Luna looked incredulously
Kuro looked strangely at her, "You and Trust Me Bro are the same kind so it shouldn't be impossible."
Luna looked at Zoro and Kuina's shining eyes and sweat dropped, "From what you told me, it took Trust Me Bro twenty years, I don't have that much time."
Zoro and Kuina's mood fell and Luna sweat dropped.
Kuro put a snicker in his mouth, 'here we go.'
Hungry took over and ate the snicker, immediately, Mercy Mick Merch felt much better.
How long had it been since he'd seen the light of day.
Stretching his arm, he felt good.
Looking around the dinner table, he could see the straw hats eating and minding their own business.
Kuina stared at him and he knew that she knew that he knew that they both knew he wasn't Kuro.
Stabbing a piece of meat, Mercy ate it and it tasted great.
Now then, he had to think.
If it weren't for Kuro or the spook-spook fruit, he would have ended himself long ago.
Currently, he had perfected his zoan form which was around ten to a hundred times stronger than Rob Lucci's awakening.
However, a thunder bagua from Kaido should easily be able to take him out.
Rob Lucci was strong, but the guy was still a fodder.
Should he perfect his paramecia or his logia next?
One thing he knew for sure was that he should be able to fight on par with an emperor if he perfected all three.
Thinking about it, Mercy decided to perfect his paramecia second.
Logia was just too energy-draining.
Taking a sip of water, Mercy's consciousness started fading.
That fucker Kuro put holy water in the cup!
Mercy immediatly swore revenge!
Kuro came back and continued eating with a smile as Kuina's eyes softened.
Coming into the dining room, Tashigi spotted Trafalgar D. Water Law.
The pirate's appearance shocked her but she kept her calm as she sat down and spied on him.
Law took a glance at her and paid no more attention.
Listening to Law talk to Luffy, Tashigi learned that Law was here to make an alliance.
Tashigi's suspicion rose as she watched them talk.
Robin tried to explain the pros and cons of an alliance.
Nami was suspicious of Law and sussed him out.
Brook listened and watched Law carefully.
Franky had some thoughts running about Law.
Usopp and Chopper were distrustful of Law.
Sanji and Zoro studied Law carefully.
Kuina's gaze seemed to pierce into Law's soul.
Luna had red cheeks.
Kuro paid no attention and ate.
Luffy asked everyone's opinion but everyone was suspicious of Law.
Luffy sighed, being a captain was hard.
So far, from interacting with Law, he could tell and feel the guy was a good guy.
"Are you a good guy Traffy?" questioned Luffy.
"Yeah," Law replied.
Luffy turned and smiled at the crew with shining eyes.
Everyone dropped seeing Luffy's innocence.
They turned to Kuina.
"He's a good guy," Kuina stated.
Luffy smiled, "See, even Kuina knows."
Luffy turned to Law, "Alright, let's shake on it."
Luffy held out his hand and Law shook it.
Kuro smiled at the sight and glanced at Luna.
"Want to stay with us for a while Traffy?" questioned Kuro.
"No," Law responded.
Kuro shrugged, "Ah, that's a shame I guess, see you in the New World in two years then."
Law nodded and got up to leave.
Everyone watched as Law went out the door and left.
"You miss one hundred percent of the shot you don't take," Kuro laughed.
Everyone looked at Kuro and felt he was being weird again.
"Shut up," Luna turned away.
Everyone immediately felt something was up and became suspicious.
"Luna, could you come with us?" Robin smiled politely with Kuro behind her.
Luna looked strangely at the two and followed them into a room.
"What's up?" Luna questioned.
"The sky," replied Kuro.
"I know what ship means," Robin smiled.
Kuro and Luna looked at Robin and then at each other.
"Do you now?" Luna arched an eye.
"Yes," Robin stated confidently.
"And what exactly does it mean?" Kuro smiled.
Robin became silent and sighed, "I was hoping to get far but guess not."
Kuro and Luna fell laughing.
"I legit thought you knew for sure!" Luna wiped a tear.
"You don't need to try so hard," Kuro wheezed.
Robin sighed and smiled, "I like digging up secrets and the way you two talked about ship had me curious for a long time."
Luna looked at Kuro, "Should we tell her?"
Kuro fell into thought, "There's no downside in telling her beside her telling the crew."
Luna looked at Robin calmly, "Alright Robin, I'll tell you."
"Please do," Robin smiled with curiosity.
"I'm out," Kuro went towards the door.
Luna grabbed him, "You stay."
"This is going to be uncomfortable for me," Kuro sighed.
Luna shrugged, "Back me up."
Kuro sighed more and sat down.
Robin and Luna sat down.
Luna looked seriously at Robin, "First off, you should know I ship Luffy with Nami, and Kuro ships Luffy with Boa Hancock."
Robin nodded and urged Luna to continue.
"Ship means, who do you think should be with who. As in love interest," Luna elaborated.
Robin's eyes widened, she then smiled mischievously.
Luna and Kuro did not like that.
"So this is what you two were talking about out in the open. Very daring, I must say," Robin eyed them.
Kuro shrugged, "Eh, it's fun to talk about ships."
Luna smiled, "Very fun."
Robin thoughtfully spoke, "The billion Berri must be the bet you two made between Boa and Nami correct?"
"Yep," Luna rocked with a smile.
"Only I'm required to pay if I lose," Kuro added.
Robin fell into thought, "You must be pretty confident you'll win Kuro."
Kuro shook his head, "Not really, but I know for a fact that Boa will pursue Luffy while Nami won't so I got the advantage."
Luna huffed with narrowed eyes.
"I can see Nami not pursuing Luffy but why would Boa who has never met Luffy pursue him?" Robin questioned.
Kuro put a finger to his lips, "That's a secret between Luffy and Boa."
Robin immediately became curious, "It seems there are secrets you know, care to elaborate?"
Luna and Kuro looked at each other and shook their head.
"Without Boa and Luffy's permission, we won't say a thing," Luna stated.
Robin sighed and seemed to remember something.
Robin looked at them lost, "What do you mean by it would be quite the upset if I was shipped with Luffy, Kuro?"
Luna and Kuro looked at each other and back at Robin.
"Honestly, besides Boa, we think you have the best chance with Luffy so it would be quite shocking if you actually manage to best Boa," Luna stated.
Robin smiled curiously and mulled over her feelings, "I don't think I have an interest like that in Luffy."
"We doubt you do," stated Luna.
"It would be very surprising if you did," stated Kuro.
"Dinner is ready!" everyone heard Sanji yell.
"Let's eat and talk later," Luna smiled.
"Wonder what we're having," Kuro salivated.
Robin followed after them in thought.
At the dinner table, Robin was still in thought.
"What are you thinking about Robin?" Luffy tried to distract Robin and steal her food.
Robin knew and smiled, suddenly she felt like doing mischievous.
In front of everyone, Robin grabbed a meat stick and held it to Luffy.
Luffy didn't know why she was doing that, but he smiled and ate it happily.
Sanji, Kuro, and Luna's jaws hung open.
"What did you do to Robin-Chan!?" Sanji strangled a confused Luffy.
Robin took in the shock of Kuro and Luna and enjoyed it greatly.
"You have made an enemy of the Nami agenda!" Luna stated coldly.
"You have made an enemy of the Boa agenda!" Kuro stated coldly.
"This means war!" Luna and Kuro stated coldly.
Robin giggled at them, she was going to enjoy this.
"What agenda are you two talking about!?" Nami shark teethed.
Luna looked at Nami with determination and Nami became lost.
"I'll make sure you win no matter what Nami," Luna stated determined.
"What?" Nami felt lost.
"I think Nami's already out of the race," Kuro stated and thought about how he would rectify the situation for Boa.
If there was one thing Kuro hated, it was people losing what belonged to them because of him
He still remembered how sad Kuina was after he lost her favorite wooden sword for a while.
"What race?" Nami questioned confused.
"The race for one billion berri!" Luna grinned.
Immediately, Nami's eyes shined, "Tell me!"
Luna held a finger to her lips, "Sorry, can't tell you, but I'll do my best to help you win."
Nami nodded vigorously.
