Snow's heart leaped with joy as Graham came running towards her, holding Red in his arms. Relief washed over her, and a bright smile spread across her face. Red, looking a bit disoriented and drunk, blabbered words here and there. Snow's happiness overshadowed any concerns as she rushed to embrace her friend.
"Red! I'm so glad you're safe!" Snow exclaimed, her voice filled with genuine relief. She guided Red to the backseat of the car, gently placing her in a comfortable sleeping position. Red's drunken ramblings continued, but Snow didn't mind. She was just grateful to have her friend back.
Turning to Graham, Snow expressed her gratitude. "Thank you, Graham. Where did you find her?"
Graham looked at Snow with a mix of concern and sincerity. "I found her sleepwalking near your soul," he replied, his words tinged with an air of mystery.
Confusion flickered in Snow's eyes. "Near my soul? What do you mean?"
Before Graham could elaborate, a sudden scream jolted Snow from her dreamlike state. Her heart raced, and she turned to Red in the car, only to hear her friend repeatedly screaming, "Find me!"
Startled, Snow snapped awake. It was all a dream—a vivid, haunting dream that had consumed her thoughts.
Snow's eyes fluttered open as she woke up in her bedroom, a sense of unease lingering in the air. Instinctively, she reached for her phone on the nightstand, her fingers trembling as she dialed David's number. Each passing moment intensified the growing dread within her.
"David, is Graham home?" Snow's voice quivered with a mix of fear and urgency, hoping for some reassurance in the midst of her growing concerns.
There was a brief silence on the other end of the line before David finally responded, his voice heavy with worry. "It's been 48 hours, Snow, and there's no sign of him. He's gone."
Snow's heart sank, a chilling realization creeping up her spine as now her friend and David's brother both were gone.
