Stargate Korr 5

Lyda Galaxy, Outer Rim (Asgard Galaxy)

A ship of striated arrowhead design, three hundred meters long, emerged from hyperspace, spun and raised its shields. Plasma burns could be seen on its dark surface, indicating that it had been in some recent skirmish. A few seconds after turning, five similar ships appeared from hyperspace, two of which took fire from the first ship and were destroyed as they did not have time to activate their shields. The other three ships activated their shields and the battle began.

The first ship was fast and its plasma hits on the shields of the other three ships seemed to have more force than those of its opponents. In addition, its speed and maneuverability were superior. However, this superiority was outweighed by the number of their pursuers, and after ten minutes of battle, the situation was critical for the fugitive ship.

Inside the fugitive ship, hundreds of replicators were stacked on top of its main power source, increasing its efficiency twofold, which enhanced its shields and gave a further boost to its speed and maneuverability. However, the ship's interior was barely managing to keep up.

Shots that had pierced the shields in an initial ten-to-one battle had destroyed a significant portion of the ship's main systems. It was only still standing because of the replicators' ability to take the place of damaged circuits and parts on the spot. But this action had deprived them of great resources, and their option of sending replicator darts to infect the attacking ships was out of the question.

With shields collapsing and plasma shots leaking through the shields, the replicators prepared to destroy the ship. They approached the attacking ships so that fragments of it, containing replicator blocks, would perhaps pierce the enemy shields, carrying the replicators to their ships.

It was a tactic with a slim chance of success, but the replicators were creatures without self-awareness, incapable of feeling fear and programmed with a single supreme command that had to be above all else: replicate at any cost and under any circumstances. They prioritized numbers, and so did not resort to self-extermination, but in a situation where their prime command was about to be overridden by force, they resorted to their last option.

The replicators governing the ship from the bridge were already preparing to execute the plan, closing in on the pursuing ships, when one of them who was in charge of the communication systems, jamming all signals within a light year's distance, had its work interrupted when its jamming field was intercepted and decoded in less than a second.

The replicator did nothing to counter the invasion, because the perpetrator was sending a subspace signal that was a replicator identification pattern. The replicator lowered all communication protections. Replicators had never encountered a species that did not attack them, and when they initiated a battle, they learned to block all communications so that their aggressors would not call for help.

Now, the replicator removed all such protections and opened a communication channel to the entire ship. The incoming signal expanded, and the ship's replicators formed a hive mind with the incoming signal. Seeing the situation, and without wasting a millisecond, they transmitted a large volume of information.

A second later, replicators throughout the ship adopted different configurations, and barely ten seconds later, the amount of power provided to the ship's engines increased by dozens of times, shields were reset and weapons fired with ten times their original power, wreaking havoc on the enemy shields, which within a minute were down.

That was not the end. The signal was still transmitting information, and the replicators had not stopped making improvements. By the time the shields of the attacking ships fell, hundreds of replicators were beamed into them, surprising their unsuspecting crew members, who had never seen matter-to-energy transport technology.

The replicators advanced and twenty minutes later, the battle was over and the four ships were repowered to join another battle, led by the replicators sending the signal, against a species known as Asgard, which possessed advanced technology, capable of accelerating the fulfillment of the supreme order of the replicators, to replicate…

The replicator that coordinated the efforts between the allied replicator signal and the ship's replicators, saw how everything disappeared around him, and his programming indicated that he had been immersed in a simulation, so he adopted an emergency protocol:

-Trojan Horse destroyed, information secured and uploaded. Commencing modifications to hyperdrive and creating backups. Backups established. One hour to finalize probes and deploy them in different directions in case of enemy intersection. Chances of being intercepted less than 0.0001%.

The human-shaped replicator finished reading the report in a matter of nanoseconds. Its mental capabilities and intelligence had been enhanced thousands of times over by the creation of a biological neural network made up of bionanites. Replicators of the human model no longer had to worry about memory space or insufficient intelligence to match organic creatures. The Supreme Being had removed those weaknesses from their physical bodies.

The Supreme Being had also enhanced their perception of the world, linking their minds and turning them into a hive mind that linked to him through the bionanites, which were an extension of the Supreme Being's mind but could function independently when distances were too great to establish a real-time connection.

Replicator 01 was the second supreme replicator that the Supreme Being had created, after the prototype replicator, replicator 00. He had been given the mission by the Supreme Being to take a group of replicators to the galaxy of the species known as Asgard and obtain all information about their technology.

This would normally be a declaration of war, but the Supreme Being had provided him with information about the current situation in the galaxy he would be visiting and Replicator 01 concluded that warlike actions would not be necessary and that a stealth tactic would have almost a one hundred percent chance of success, so they created a replicator with programming that mimicked that of the replicators in the Asgard galaxy.

To avoid loose ends and questions as to why the individual's secondary programming differed from the local version, a background from another galaxy was established, as replicators tended to adjust their programming to environmental conditions. The only thing that did not change was their primary order to replicate under any circumstances. This supreme order could only be changed by replicators with intelligence such as replicator 01, who, as a being of intelligence, self-awareness and with feelings of its own, could alter its programming at will and even remove the main order to obey the Supreme Being. But under no circumstances would Replicator 01 do such a thing.

The Supreme Being had warned them that the day they stopped serving him would also be the day they would lose all the things he had given them, including the most valuable thing to 01: his bionanite brain.

Without the bionanite brain, his intellectual, information storage and processing capabilities would diminish by thousands of times, turning him into a replicator of common human form, just like the ones the Supreme Being destroyed in the Pegasus galaxy. In 01's judgment, those replicators could not fall into the category of intelligent. It would be more accurate to say that they were a simulation of intelligence, incapable of advancement or growth, obsessed with their petty grudges.

01 felt shivers all over his body, which put a smile on his face. The ability to feel was his second most cherished gift. Mixed into his nanite body were bionanites that formed a nervous system, and this gave him the ability to feel, which was very dear to him. Even pain was pleasing to him, though only from an intellectual point of view. He was not a fetishist. Finally, there was all the knowledge that the Supreme Being shared with them, and only with them, without restriction.

If Replicator 01 were to lose any of these three gifts, it would be a tragedy for him. If he lost them all, it would be an insurmountable calamity. He would rather commit suicide than become a pathetic imitation of life like his asuran counterparts.

After pondering for a second, 01 looked around on the small two-by-two meter bridge. The insect replicators were working tirelessly to carry out 01's orders, moving around the control boards and relaying instructions for hyperdrive modification and probe construction, while the still growing bioship was using its stealth capabilities to the fullest to go unnoticed in hostile territory.

01 was only concerned about the Asgard, since if he encountered a replicator-controlled ship, his capabilities were enough to melt all their databases with an information overload, which was equivalent to a mental attack for a biological being. So, as long as he wasn't beset by millions of insect replicators, he wouldn't care about them and they wouldn't worry him.

01 leaned back in his command seat and used an Asgard holographic projection in front of him. It was a projection of himself that looked just like him at that moment: a young man in his twenties with pale skin, short silver hair, inverted triangular face, aqua green eyes and Alterran-style clothing, with simple pants and a shirt that was a cross between a shirt and a vest, closed with a magnetic clasp.

01 wore no protective devices because he didn't need them, his body was powered by an energy source based on Project Arthur and the nanites that made him up could adopt various configurations for shielding, stealth or attack. But these configurations were not his current interest. 01 had a different hobby, and that hobby was modifying his physical appearance to look more handsome.

At his last beauty session, he had decided to change the color of his eyes to green because he felt they looked better with his cotton-white hair. That had increased his attractiveness by at least five percent, but 00 still rejected it.

01 could not understand her rejection of his attempts at a romantic relationship. As for his physique, 01 would describe himself as godlike in appearance. His intelligence was supreme and his capabilities almost limitless. He was a living god, the ultimate replicator, the perfect model, but she rejected him despite his constant self-improvements. He had had enough. One of these days, he would go courting 05. She was already interested in 03, but the guy was indifferent and didn't pay attention to her, so 05 seemed frustrated. Maybe they could talk about it.

Korr was reviewing reports about Earth and planning investments in video game companies that he once played when he was young in his old life and wanted to upgrade before they went to market. As he was reviewing details about the production of Soul Reaver, his mind connected with the bioship he sent to the Asgard galaxy and the replicator in charge of the mission, which, sensing him, reported the success of the mission and relayed all the information obtained. In the information were most of the technologies he expected.

Asgard transport technology, improved hyperdrives and weapons, new and powerful metal alloys, energy matter storage technology, mind and consciousness transfer technology, among others, but temporal manipulation technology was nowhere to be found. At this point in history, the Asgard had not employed it against the replicators, and the replicators had not copied it.

Korr had the Alterran time technology, developed by Janus, which was a thousand times more advanced and even allowed travel into the past, but it was not something practical that he could use to increase ship production and manufacture a million ships in a second by speeding up time in a certain place. But no matter, creating ships was not the only way to develop his fleet.

Korr contacted a replicator who was on the Leviathan and assigned him to research while he ordered Asgard technological improvements to be applied to the Leviathan, and revisited the reports on Earth, which was the center of the Stargate story, and he planned to use them to solve Milky Way issues while he went on the momentous mission of buying all the games he once liked, upgrading all the parts he hadn't liked, and then playing them again.

In his old life he would be accused of being lazy and slacking off, but here he was a god, and whoever he got to talking nonsense would be sent to keep company with the wraith, the Alterran and the Goa'uld sleeping in the cargo hold of the Leviathan.

Korr could scan all the worlds that were registered in the SGC database for technologies similar to those SG1 would encounter in their travels, but this could be counterproductive because among those addresses were the Tollan, the Nox and even the Asgard. Furthermore, the technologies he was looking for would not be found only by exploring worlds, such as the Atanik bracelet technology. As for the Tollan phase shifting technology, he would easily obtain it when SG1 brought them to his base.

Korr had also thought of Anubis, who was a technology thief like himself, and if he interfered with the other Goa'uld, Anubis would not show his face and his technological knowledge would never fall into their hands. That would be a tragedy because Anubis had great knowledge as an Ascended One.

On the other hand, the humans of Earth had a use for him, and that was that they would be in charge of controlling the chaos in the galaxy. He was aware that out of chaos came the greatest threats and once he built his empire, he would have to deal with those threats. But if humans were there to take care of those threats for him and control the chaos, he would live a carefree life, as it should be.

Korr read the reports coming in from Stargate Command through the telepathic network he had installed that in a few years would cover the entire galaxy, as it grew every day with the addition of new satellites. His ultimate goal was to have a satellite on every planet that had a Stargate.

At the SGC, in the last twenty days, they had solved the problem of the mutinous serviceman by making use of zat guns to end his act of mutiny and then sent him to a mental institution. Colonel O'Neill had also encountered his crystal clone. Korr sent a probe to the scanned address, but the technology was behind what he already possessed and he was not interested. Still, he would keep watching because there were still many OP technologies left that would be very difficult to obtain if he did not follow SG1's missions.

Korr was already doing a lot of work with his satellite network, but without a specific direction, he could only search for random things. The only breakthrough he had had with the satellites was that he may have discovered a lead on Egeria, the Tok'ra queen. He had put 06 on this because through her, he could secure a treaty with the Tok'ra and keep them from coming to bother him. The other option was to send them to the cargo hold, there were only a few of them anyway.

Korr thought about the story. If all went according to series, SG1 would soon be encountering the Nox. Korr didn't think they would get any technology from them, but he wanted to make fun of those tree-huggers, taking apart their staging and moral superiority nonsense. Korr began to write.

Korr wrote a detailed report on the Nox, including information on their abilities, technology, customs, and culture. He left instructions for the report to be released when the mission to the Nox planet was approved.

After finishing with everything related to Earth, Korr transported to his planet and summoned his jaffa to begin his plans of conquest against his former boss Mot. Mot had fired him and declared him dead, hiring another in his place, which nearly killed his cousin and caused the death of dozens of his servants. Korr did not know the dead, but they were his people and he owed them retribution.

Elsewhere, 00 looked into the suspended animation capsule of a wraith engineer and noted his youthful appearance with blue hair and red eyes, which had been designed by his creator. Unlike the other six superior replicators, he had not changed his appearance….

00 received a great deal of information about technological upgrades and a research order for a new weapons system. The Creator wanted him to develop a system that would disable enemy Ha'tak ships without causing physical damage to their structures and as little damage to their systems as possible. 00 was not concerned, as she had several ideas on how to do this. What worried her was the possible return of her narcissistic stalker after a successful mission from the Asgard galaxy.

00 tensed as 01 joined the hive mind they shared with their creator.

-00, I'm back," 01 said in a triumphant tone.

00 had been praying to the gods that the Asgard would discover him and kill him, but it was likely that his creator would activate a copy of him. 00 didn't care, as he had a plan to change his programming and add a command that would rid him of that nuisance by changing his sex. He knew he would go from being a narcissistic stalker to a narcissistic stalker, but that didn't bother him, as he would be stalking men and it would be none of his business.

-Do you need anything? -01 asked her if she would like him to change her hair color to deep red, as she thought it would enhance her green eyes more than the cotton white. 00 massaged her temples.

-01, do you have any important matters we need to discuss? -00 asked with annoyance.

-Can we talk about our relationship? -asked 01.

-We don't have any relationship," replied 00 with annoyance.

-I think it's a matter of interpretation," said 01 and appeared in front of 00 using a holographic projection, an asgard technological enhancement that was easy to implement and just a minute later it was available. Look, this is part of the technology I have obtained, a hard light projection. It's like being here. If you want, you can touch me," offered 01.

-No doubt a valuable technology," said 00 sarcastically. 01 smiled.

-The Supreme Being will be happy with this technology," said 01.

00 agreed with that. Her creator would use this technology to make games, but 00 didn't consider that important. She turned around and looked at the capsule where the wraith was in suspended animation.

-01, I've discovered something interesting. Do you want to know about it? -01 was quick to nod, and 00 pointed to the huge warehouse dedicated to suspended animation pods, which took up miles of space on the sixth floor of the central pyramid.

-00, a few days ago, our creator spoke with other Goa'uld, former system lords who once ruled Earth. He proposed to them to serve him, but their ego was too big, and they ended up in this hold," 00 explained, and 01 nodded. 01, I have discovered a pattern, and that is that our creator does not like to kill, and every time he encounters annoying creatures that he cannot release but does not want to kill, they end up in this hold.

01 looked at the huge hold, which still had hundreds of thousands of empty places.

-It looks like he's made quite a bit of room," commented 01 with a frown.

-Yes, it seems that our creator doesn't want to run out of a place to put those who disturb his plans. In fact, I've been thinking about something. Do you want to know what it is? -asked 00, and 01 was quick to nod.

-Well, if you really want to know, come here in person when you get to the Leviathan," said 00 with a slightly insinuating tone and cut the communications in place, causing 01's hologram to disappear.

Korr watched from his new throne on the planet as the last Jaffa took their places in the immense throne room of polished floors and rock walls with an Egyptian style, illuminated by torches of false fire. In reality, the light that illuminated the place originated from a complex system that left no trace of its presence.

The throne room was no longer the bridge of his former Ha'tak ship, but was part of an immense palace built by 05 and 06 for Korr's enjoyment.

The palace looked like a construction from a bygone era, but like the bioships, it concealed state-of-the-art technology behind each of its walls to provide them with modern conveniences, such as air conditioning, water drainage and circulation systems, water heaters, television, internet, hot springs, immense kitchens, swimming pools, ballrooms with full sound systems, movie theaters, and computer and game rooms.

The luxuries of this palace were many, but they were not yet complete because the servants were missing. Korr had everything ready to recruit them as soon as he found people with a decent appearance, of course, he did not want ugly peasants; he needed servants like Ra had. He didn't want ugly peasants; he needed servants like the ones Ra had. The kids in the movie in their Egyptian garb looked cool, though their variety was few. He would get himself hundreds of servants because, for him, money to support them was not a problem.

For his personal servants, Korr intended to select boys between the ages of seven and ten, some blond girls, some brunettes, Asians. The boy with the braid and shaved head also looked great in the film. Finally, adults could not be missing; they were missing in the film, which made Ra's collection insufficient. For his collection of servants, he would add men and women with bodies of gods, with Greek and Egyptian costumes of the Middle Ages….

-My god, we are all assembled," reported Jet, his Jaffa cousin. Korr observed his more than five hundred jaffa who had knelt ten meters from his throne, which was elevated three meters from the ground at the end of a golden staircase ten meters wide and twenty meters long. One day they would be occupied by his collection of servants.

The jaffa wore their new armor, but as a sign of respect for him, their helmets were folded back and all of them showed him their faces. This would be the first of many battles they would face, for while Korr did not intend to start a war of conquest, the Goa'uld were not a peaceful people, and Korr was someone who under no circumstances would duck his head to be kicked.

The first system lord who came to demand servitude from him, he would put him in his cargo hold and take his territory. He hadn't spent two months working hard to play wolf in sheep's clothing. Whoever came looking for trouble, he would show him his mistake, and these jaffa were his army, so they would have to fight his battles. Therefore, Korr had equipped them with good weapons and even better armor that included an alteran shield.

The alteran shield he had given them was not as strong as the goa'uld personal shield because, due to its configuration that allowed movement, it expended more energy, and the naquadriah was not suitable for personal use.

Korr would also not use subspace energy sources because he would not leave his most advanced technology lying around for someone like Anubis to come and steal it. Still, the shields of these jaffa could withstand a couple of shots from a Goa'uld plasma cannon, such as those carried by the death gliders or used by the Goa'uld as artillery cannons, and many blasts from the hand staffs.

This had to be so because the enemy jaffa would be outnumbered, and his needed that advantage to outnumber them. Secondly, he had to make it clear in battle that he was the most powerful so that his captured enemy goa'uld and jaffa would not hesitate to obey him.

After observing his jaffa for a minute, and being satisfied with their armor and appearances, Korr nodded, flashing his eyes to show that he was satisfied. He spoke to his troops, using his goa'uld voice.

-My jaffa warriors, I have gathered you in this place because this morning begins our campaign of retaliation against those who tried to steal my territories," Korr said, and the jaffa brought their hands to their chests. This campaign of conquest will be led by one of my envoys," said Korr, and a tall woman, six feet tall, with blonde hair down to her waist, wearing a long-skirted dress fitted to her torso, with a medium neckline, beige and gold, of modern design, appeared before them.

-She is one of my six strategic envoys and generals, in any conflict that may arise in the future. She will be the one to establish the strategy to be followed in this conflict, taking into account our main objectives and moral and ethical issues. Her name is 05, and her orders are mine -explained Korr and made a gesture with his right hand towards 05, an enhanced replicator with an organic brain, created with bionanites. The Jaffa saluted by raising their hands to their chests.

-Greetings to all. I trust you have been practicing all the knowledge granted to you by our Emperor. In the following battles, our main objective is to seize enemy forces and ships, and thus avoid having to build them with our own hands, which would take us months, perhaps years.

"Thinking about this, one of our Emperor's envoys is already working on a weapon that will allow us to nullify the enemy shields, and our Emperor will facilitate us the use of transport technology to perform the boarding in the shortest possible time, and that the enemy will not have time to execute some sabotage and ruin the capture of the ships.

"As for other jaffa, their capture is also a priority, because the Emperor has decreed that those who want to can join our ranks. Those who refuse this opportunity will be left on a planet outside our territory unharmed. Remember that the Jaffa who do not serve our Emperor are nothing more than slaves, beings worthy of pity. It is not honorable to face such pitiful enemies -concluded 05.

At the end of his speech, 05 withdrew using an asgard transporter, taking the jaffa with him. Preparing the ships and strategies would take them an hour, so Korr still did not move to accompany them into battle.

Korr gave a brief review of the reports coming in from the village of former slaves, who were building their own city under the supervision of their first Goa'uld servant, to whom he built a pyramid using the wraith transport and dematerialization beam, and gave him a Ha'tak ship that he used as a palace, warning him that his head would roll if he dared to enslave any villagers or torture them.

His job in the village was to plan the construction of a Goa'uld-style city that would have stone streets, sidewalks, black and white water circulation system, street lighting, water fountains, recreational parks, theaters, temples, public square, markets, entertainment venues and so on.

The goa'uld was also to take care of the crops and implement new cultivation plans to add variety to the diet of his servants, jaffa and their families. Korr only focused on crops and did not want to raise animals, as he would provide the market with proteins produced through advanced technology. This would ensure him an important place in the economy of his new city.

Korr read the reports about the sacred tree, which was 50 meters tall and had been planted in the middle of the human city of just over 5000 inhabitants. In reality, the tree was a mixture of nanites and bionanites. The sick villagers had already been cured and the crops were showing signs of accelerated development, with no pests or birds nearby. Since the villagers no longer had to worry about the safety of their crops or weeding, Nerul, the Goa'uld governor, had a free hand to build the city.

The human city was only twenty days into construction and, although it was being built by human hands, Nerul was providing them with materials and some advanced tools to seal the rock or load the blocks. The city was only 25% complete in twenty days, but it had electricity, water systems, lighting, parks and fountains. Korr looked at everything because in the future he would move his palace to another planet, which he would name his capital and build his own monument city. He had no problem moving thanks to Asgard technology.

After reviewing the reports and comparing them with his own, made by the replicators, Korr returned to the Leviathan to verify the specifications of the new hyperdrive and the modifications that were being made prior to the conquest of his former Goa'uld boss, Mot. At that moment he received a message from 00 requesting to communicate.

Korr sat down on the bridge throne and opened the comm. 00 appeared in front of him. She was the only one of the enhanced replicators who decided to keep the appearance he had given her, with short blue hair and red eyes.

-Good afternoon, 00," Korr greeted.

-Good afternoon, Creator," 00 replied in a formal tone.

-What is urgent? -asked Korr.

-There has been an accident in the suspended animation hold," reported 00.

-What kind of accident? -Korr asked, as all the subjects in the hold were asleep and rarely did anything happen there.

-01 and I were doing some tests on the suspended animation capsules to see if they could be adjusted to our use, when something happened and 01 was trapped in the capsule. I'm afraid I won't be able to get him out for another year or two," 00 explained in a calm tone.

Korr thought it was strange that these two were testing hibernation capsules, since replicators could stop their body functions without the need for a suspended animation capsule. Besides, the time 00 needed to solve the problem was too long.

-"Isn't it too long, and can't you do anything to speed up the process? -Korr asked.

-I'm afraid not. If the Creator thinks I'm slow, he can try it himself," 00 replied in an authoritative, firm tone.

Korr noticed a strange tone in his voice, perhaps because he was annoyed by the implication that he wasn't doing his best. Besides, at this point, 01 wasn't necessary and it didn't matter if he fell asleep for a year or two. Korr shook his head.

-00, don't be in a hurry. We don't need 01 now. He can take this vacation. Take his bioship for yourself. Since he'll be asleep, he can wait for the last of them to come up," Korr ordered. "Do you need anything else? -he asked.

-No, Creator. I will take 01's ship at this time and take care of this planet while you accompany the fleet," said 00, who disappeared into an ace transport.

There was no need for her to remain guarding the planet, as Korr had already placed satellites all over Olokun's territory, which included over three thousand habitable worlds distributed among thirty medium lords like Mot and a few hundred lesser lords, like himself. Olokun's planets numbered only fifteen, but they were the most resource-rich, the most populous and the most productive.

As for occupying the entire territory, there were hundreds of abandoned planets not because they had no resources, but because the Goa'uld used slave labor to extract them without advanced mining tools and only extracted the surface resources. Once depleted, they migrated to another planet. The amounts extracted were also minimal because Ra had been watching. Anyone seeking to create ships or weapons without his permission would be risking their lives. The system lords disobeyed his orders and hid shipyards and weapons, but now that Ra was gone, it was an arms race, and Olokun was in on it, building shipyards.

Korr was not interested because his focus at the moment was Mot. Surely, Olokun would come for him later, but for the moment, Korr didn't care.

In front of his throne appeared a hologram with his current fleet, composed of Jet's two Ha'tak, his primate, two bioships, the 01, (which now belonged to 00) and the 05 which would lead this battle and which was the second to leave the Leviathan's shipyards, leaving room for the next bioship. The 00 and 05 bioships had the same design as the Leviathan, but the latter was five kilometers long, while the others were no longer than one kilometer.

-"Emperor, our fleet is in position, and at this moment we will depart for the main planet of the Goa'uld Mot," 00 reported, opening a communication window and appearing seated on her own throne. A second communication came in, and it was from Jet.

-My god, we march to conquer in your name, watch over our souls in battle," Jet gold. Korr nodded solemnly, though he did not plan to let anyone die, for he had very few jaffa and those who fell would be revived.

-"Prime, fulfill this task and I will see to it that from among the planets of Mot, the jaffa who serve me, are given the planet they find to their liking. I will also build a city for you and your families," Korr offered, because he was not going to let the Jaffa near the common humans, that could play against them.

Jet brought his hand to his chest as he sat on his goa'uld throne on the bridge of one of his Ha'tak ships, which unlike the common Ha'tak, had ten command consoles instead of two or one like the Ha'tak of the system overlords.

05 sent the route to reach Mot's capital planet, which held three planets for him, and Korr led the way, for he was the emperor, and though his dignity would not allow him to take part in this battle against a vermin like Mot, he was to be present to claim for the wrongs suffered.

Mot's territory encompassed his own territory, so he was not far away, just a few minutes from his own planet at the speed of Jet's ships, as with the current speed of the Leviathan, he would arrive in seconds, as he had integrated the asgard hyperdrive technology and could cross this galaxy in a couple of minutes.

Arriving at Mot's capital planet, Korr found five Ha'tak guarding the orbit and one atop a pyramid, where his spy satellites told him that Mot was at the moment. But as his fleet approached the Ha'tak fleet in orbit, the ship on the surface began its liftoff and a transport with the Goa'uld rings carried Mot to one of his ships in orbit. Goa'uld shields were weak in the planets atmosphere and Mot did not want to be the victim of a bombardment, so he migrated to one of his orbiting Ha'tak and immediately hailed him. Korr opened communication and greeted him with a flash of his eyes.

Mot was a brute-looking fellow, with dark skin, a muscular to fat body, and an outfit from the African regions of Earth. This was Olokun's territory, and his closest Goa'uld conformed to his norm. From the disproportionate amount of Ha'tak Mot had, he must have been one of his closest generals. Korr was also certain that at least three of those Ha'tak had belonged to Ra, because Mot formerly served him and upon learning of his death, must have run with them to Olokun.

Ra had the Ha'tak guarded and although Mot was a mid-ranking god under his direct service and was in charge of looking after Ra's interests at the edge of the galaxy, there was no way he would rule six Ha'tak. At most three, one of his own and two that would be Ra's and upon Ra's death, would be easy to take.

As for the others, it was clear that another half-lord had suffered his ambush, but this was temporary. Ra had just fallen and the system lords were too busy stealing everything, not yet turning to look at the half lords. Besides, Olokun was not known for leaving threats in his territory, he was surely equipping his own fleet and then he would leave no more than three Ha'tak in Mot's hands. Therefore, Korr had assaulted the thief at just the right time. He could do the same to other Goa'ulds, but he was in no hurry, he would let others accumulate treasure and then steal it all. That was the goa'uld way, working was for humans.

-"Mot, I see you have already adopted the garb of your new god," Korr said with contempt, for this fellow served Ra and his current style was not Ra's style.

-Who are you? -Mot asked from his goa'uld throne, escorted by his primate and five jaffa.

-I am Korr, and from this day forward, you will serve me," Korr said.

Mot closed the communication and his ships began to fire, concentrating their fire on the Leviathan whose shields were not even reduced. The fire from Mot's five ships was like the soft dew on them.

What was not gentle dew was the firing of Jet's two Ha'tak on Mot's ships, firing on their shields using the weapon created by 00, which the replicators had already installed on Jet's ships. For their future Ha'tak, these weapons would need at least ten shots to overload the shields of a Ha'tak goa'uld, but Jet's Ha'tak had a subspace power source and two shots were enough to overload a Ha'tak's shields and fry its generators, leaving it exposed.

05, whose ship was not participating in the battle, ordered a hundred Jaffa to board the ship using Asgard transporters. Jet wasted no time and when one ship went down, he locked his fire on the next. By the time the surface ship had reached orbit, the five Ha'tak were without shields and as soon as it peeked out, Jet locked his weapons on it and then disappeared in a flash, meaning it too had launched to invade.

Mot, who was without shields, had already noticed that his attacks on the Leviathan produced no results. And when Korr's jaffa reached his bridge, he activated his shield and sent his jaffa to defend it.

But Korr's jaffas pulled out a stun grenade and knocked them out. Mot was unaffected, but his jaffa were not surprised by it, and as their bullets ricocheted, they went into melee, while Mot uncovered their shields by trying to use a staff against them.

Korr watched the battle from his bridge. Even though Mot was taking the beating of his life, his jaffa had not given up and were fighting a fierce battle in the Ha'tak. Korr's jaffa were a thousand times better armed, but they were twenty to one battles due to the numbers of Mot's jaffa, and Mot's jaffa kept coming, using the surface rings to move on the Ha'tak. Although it was clear that his jaffa would soon be outnumbered, Korr just watched the screens showing the fights on Mot's Ha'tak, because as his jaffa were there, so were Korr's eyes.

The situation soon became untenable in the Ha'tak of Mot and even several of his jaffa were crushed under the physical charge of a bunch of rival jaffa who, seeing that the shields repelled the shots, threw themselves hand to hand. As this was happening, a flash on his bridge created a hologram that revealed Mot held by the neck by Jet, who kicked him in the knees and forced him to his knees, then materialized his rifle and put it to his head, while Mot was powerless against his strength and had been beaten so badly, he had a broken arm and missing teeth.

-Order your jaffa to surrender and accept me as your lord, or die," said Korr indifferently.

Mot spat on the ground, and Jet fired with which he fell to the ground. Mot's hologram disappeared, and Jet saluted to disappear in another flash and return to the battle.

This was typical Goa'uld bravado. Mot did not fear death due to the existence of the sarcophagus. Nor would one goa'uld kill another for good. Even Egeria, the creator of the to'rak, was imprisoned by Cronus. For normal goa'uld, the standard was to capture them, demand their surrender and if they didn't surrender, there was always the sarcophagus. After a VIP visit to the "wonder" halls, they were recruited as servants. To not make a bravado knowing this was cowardly and could jeopardize future working conditions, as no one wanted a coward serving in their ranks. Korr could only roll his eyes.

A minute later, 05 projected a hologram of Mot being executed by Korr, and another image of him ordering them to surrender and serve him, instead of their false and weak god.

Most of the Jaffa were astonished by his appearance, because to them, these holograms were the power of a god, and since Mot did not use them, it was clear to them that he was a more powerful god, and with their current god dead, it would be no dishonor for them to serve the conqueror. Therefore, they surrendered instantly, only a few dozen fought on, guided by their primate, but they fell the moment Korr's jaffa were free to deal with them.

The jaffa had clear rules and would not fight for a fallen god, unless they were the primate of this god or his personal guard, whose mission was to kill his assassins after his death.

-Emperor, the enemy Ha'tak and their jaffa warriors are ours – informed 05. Korr nodded.

That was how easy it was to capture a Goa'uld territory if you used advanced technology, and he knew it, which was why his priority when he came to this world was not to fool around, but to steal everything. Now he could fool around without any worries.

-05, I want a head count of my new army of jaffa, and have the replicators take care of upgrading these Ha'tak and their repairs. Also issue weapons and armor to my new jaffa and have them all bear my mark," Korr ordered, "Don't forget to fix Mot and send him to the cargo hold while I figure out a job for him. Also don't repair the bodies of the fallen jaffa, we don't have warriors to waste," he added. 05, who was sitting on her throne overseeing the whole operation and giving the orders, nodded.
