I do not own Harry Potter, or Star Wars.

Hello guys, Badger here. I hope everyone is feeling okay. Cause I'm not. I'm not sure what it was about this chapter. I rewrote it, about three times, but still couldn't get it right. I tried my best but I think this chapter is the weakest of the lot I've done. I've read what I've done and there's just something not right about it. But I just can't put my finger on it. I still think it's a decent chapter, but I feel like it's not as great as previous chapters.

Anyway, I won't rant about that anymore. I guess I'll see what your opinions on the chapter are. Please read on and I will see you at the end.

Chapter 10

One Way Ticket To Lendin

Harry felt stiff, as he slowly stepped out of the Escape Pod, dusting off his clothes. After getting away from the Black Hand, they were able to make it to the planet of Naboo. However, the landing was rougher then he was expecting. He was almost certain that he had whiplash from the impact. If there was one saving grace about the whole situation, it would be that the planet of Naboo was a lot nicer than some of the previous places they had been. With the luscious fields, clear blue skies and mountains in the distance, Harry felt like Naboo could be mistaken for Earth. Harry sighed, as a thought occurred to him. When they find Sirius, Harry was going to have to tell him that the two had travelled into the future and Earth was destroyed. It made him wonder what they were going to do next, when Sirius was found.

Whilst Dahar and Ahsoka brushed themselves off, taking a moment to catch their breath and gather their bearings, after everything that had transpired on the Black Hands ship mere moments ago, Harry approached James, who was stood over a cliff face, overlooking the area.

"Where do we go now?" He asked the aging Wizard

"There" James replied, pointing towards a city in the distance "There's landing bays there…if we hope to find a pilot to take us back to Lendin, that would be the best place to start"

Harry's gaze followed the direction James was pointing, where he saw a rather elegant looking city down the cliff face, near the bottom of the mountains in the distance. It was difficult to see, from how far away they were, but it looked like there were ships docked on the various landing bays. Hopefully, someone there would give them a lift.

Back in space, aboard the Black Hand's ship, the Commander paced back and forth in the cockpit, yelling and screaming all kinds of curses, damning the prisoners who had escaped their clutches. The lieutenant and the other members of the Black Hand, kept their distance as the Commander went on his rant. Their Commander had a habit of killing any man who got to close, when he was angry and all of them valued their lives too much. With a growl, the Commander slammed his fist against the ships controls, nearly damaging the ship in the process, the impact making the area shake a little bit as the clang of metal echoed, and bounced, off of the walls.

"Damn them!" He yelled, as he looked to the stars "Damn them all…and damn me too…I should've just beheaded the lot of them right then and there, as they were powerless at my feet!"

"Commander" The lieutenant said, taking a few risky steps towards the Commander "You shouldn't damn yourself…the prisoners may have escaped, but that could've happened to anyone…"

The Commander whirled around to face his lieutenant, and the dark and murderous look in his eyes, stopped whatever the lieutenant had to say, as he took a few steps back, where he found the ground to be interesting, not wanting to look into those eyes a second longer.

"It seems you have forgotten who we are, lieutenant!" The Commander said, the tone of his voice, cold and dangerous "Look at that insignia that lies on your shoulder…do you know what that insignia represents…we are the Black Hand…we do not make mistakes…if we let prisoners escape then how can we possibly raise and army to take over the galaxy!"

The lieutenant, and the rest of the Black Hand members in the cockpit, flinched at the venom in the Commanders voice, as he glared at every single one of them, expecting one of them to speak up. After a few moments of silence, the Commander turned his attention back to the stars.

"Send word to our Scientists…let them know that we are going to speed up our plans" He said, his voice cold, though the venom in his tone was gone "and send whatever Executioners we have available after Vizsla Marr…we can't have our escaped prisoners finding out our plans!"

Ahsoka followed the others as they entered the city, James had pointed out, in hopes of finding a pilot. As they walked across the fields, Ahsoka thought about recent events. Seeing Harry and James use, what they called spells, was nothing like she had seen. She had only seen the Force be used to lift objects, or to manipulate the weak minded. Never had she seen the Force be used to stun, go invisible, severe objects and conjure animals out of thin air. It made her wonder if she could learn such abilities.

"Something on your mind, Ahsoka?" James' said, beside her

Ahsoka jumped, startled, as she looked to see the older man walking alongside her. He wasn't there a moment earlier. Even though he was talking to her, James kept his eyes facing forward, his eyes darting around every so often, possibly to make sure there were no threats around them.

"That obvious?" Ahsoka asked

"For some" James replied "As I understand it, the Force allows you to sense the emotions of others…my magic allows me to do the same…however, I do not need to use my magic, to know that you are in deep thought…so, what is on your mind?"

"Well…your…magic" Ahsoka answered, unsure on her wording "I've seen you, and Harry, do things I have never seen…things that the Force is incapable of…at least, to my knowledge…the first time Harry demonstrated his magic for the Jedi Order, he completely obliterated the targets…in that moment I was amazed, and shocked, at what I saw…but then I saw you create those large animals from thin air…and I was wondering…can I learn…the things that you can do?"

Her question seemed to throw James through a loop, as she saw his eyes widen, before they narrowed again, where a look of deep thought cross his face. James was silent for several moments, where Ahsoka could practically see the wheels turning in his head, before he eventually answered her question.

"Honestly…it's possible, but I can't be sure" He said "Whilst you can use the Force, magic is completely different…magic is limitless in what you can do, unlike the Force which is incredibly limited and restricted…however, even though you may not have a drop of magical blood within your veins, your ability to use the Force could mean that you can learn what I can do…but I don't have a way of knowing…unless…"

"Unless?" Ahsoka repeated

"Tell me Ahsoka…the Kyber Crystal within your Lightsaber" James said "It's unique to you, because it chose you, am I right?"

"Yes" Ahsoka's eyes narrowed, as she wondered where he was going "When Padawans make their Lightsabers, they enter the caves Ilum, to find their Kyber Crystal…there are millions, if not billions of Kyber Crystals, within those caves, however we can't just take the first crystal we see and leave…only one Kyber Crystal belongs to us…and we won't know which Lightsaber is ours until we find it…why is this important?"

"Because, Ahsoka, wands are similar" James explained "You see, a witch or wizard can't just pick up any random wand and use it as their own…for the wand chooses the wizard, not the other way around…wand makers believed wands held some kind of sentience, with many spending their lives trying to uncover the truths of their sentience…each wand is unique, like their owners…so, I'll make you a deal Ahsoka…when we return to Lendin, if we find a wand that calls to you…I will teach you all the magic I can…do we have a deal?"

"Deal!" Ahsoka said, feeling a strange feeling of the Force, almost like it was satisfied

"Hey…you two!" Dahar called out "I hate to interrupt you little chat, but I see, what looks to be a bar, bartenders tend to keep tabs on their customers…if anyone can point us towards a pilot, they'll be the ones to talk to"

Nodding, James led the group into the bar. This one had a more pleasant atmosphere, compared to the one on Lendin. The place was calming and warm, as everyone where talking to one another. Whilst the group couldn't tell what people were saying, it was clear that the conversations were pleasant and kind.

"Let me talk to the bartender" James said, leaning against the bar, his presence alerting the bartender as they immediately made their way over

"What can I get you sir?" They asked, the tone of their voice, soft and smooth

"No drink for me…I'm looking for a pilot" James replied "As a bartender, I'm sure you keep tabs on customers…so I'm sure there is a pilot you can point us towards, who will grant us transport"

"Well…I can't guarantee he will give you what you ask, but you can try Tobb Jadak" The bartender pointing towards one of the booths "He is a pilot for the Republic Group…I recommend speaking to him now though…he'll be getting ready to leave any minute now"

"Thank you for your time, sir" James said, before he and the group made their way towards the human male the bartender had pointed them towards "Are you Tobb Jadak?"

The human male looked up from his drink, where his eyes widened briefly, as he looked at the group, one by one. He was more surprised when he saw that a Jedi was amongst the group, of what looked like Bounty Hunters. Taking another swig from his glass, before he shrugged as he turned his attention onto James.

"I might be" He said "Depends on who's asking"

"Forgive me" James said, as he sat in the booth, opposite Tobb "But we are looking for a pilot…we need transport off world and the bartender said you could, most likely, help us…apparently you're a pilot for the Republic Group"

"That I am" Tobb smiled "And today's your lucky day…I'll be willing to take you off world…of course, depending on where it is you need transporting to"

"Lendin, we left a few important things there and need to get them back" James replied

"Lendin!" Tobb repeated, nearly jumping out of his seat "That death trap…you expect me to take you off world, to a planet full of murderers, thieves, assassins and other degenerates, all because you 'left a few important things' there…I'm sorry buddy, but that won't be happening…nice meeting you"

"You are taking us to Lendin!" Harry exclaimed, slamming his hands down on the table, startling the human male "I need to find my Godfather, he is the only family I have…if you don't take us to Lendin then I could lose him again!"

"The kid speaks Jadak!" Dahar spoke up "Believe me, I've seen what this boy can do, when he is fired up…and trust me, you don't want to be on the receiving end of it…so what's it going to be…are you going to take us to Lendin?"

Tobb wanted to say no. If he landed his ship there, he will surely become a target for every degenerate within a ten mile radius. However, the look in the boys eyes was intimidating him. His eyes were practically glowing, as if they were on fire. He didn't want to look into the eyes, by how intimidated he felt, but he couldn't look away.

"Fine!" He exclaimed, shaking his head, as if he just snapped out of some kind of trance "Fine, I'll take you to Lendin…please follow me"

Throwing a couple of Credits on the table, Tobb led them out of the bar, towards the nearest landing bay. There was only one ship there. It was incredibly large, light grey in colour, shaped almost like a tear drop. Harry looked slightly sceptical about the ship in front of them.

"This is your ship?" He asked "It looks like a heap of junk"

"Hey!" Tobb exclaimed "This is the Stellar Envoy…it's had its fair share of bumps and bruises, but it's still an excellent ship…you try working as a pilot for the Republic Group, where people shoot at you whenever they see you, then we'll talk about the ship looking like a heap of junk…now, get on board before I change my mind about taking you"

Palpatine looked out of the large window, behind his desk, where he could see the Jedi Temple in distance. There was still no word on Potter being found, keeping Palpatine hopeful that Dooku would be the one to find the boy first. However, as he waited, rather impatiently for updates on Potters whereabouts, he felt something. Some kind of disturbance in the Force. He wasn't sure what it was. Palpatine wasn't sure if they were Force Sensitive, but he sensed whoever, or whatever, they are, could become a threat to the Sith cause. If he hoped to find out more, he was going to have to meditate and tap into the Dark Side even more.

He hoped this possible threat wouldn't prove to be a problem for his plans. If they are, he could try to use the manipulations of the Dark Side to form an alliance. And if that failed…he would see that they are exterminated.

Across the galaxy, the Stellar Envoy made its way out of hyper space where Harry found himself, once more, staring ominous planet of Lendin. Despite dark and vile atmosphere, the planet was giving off, Harry was happy to see it because that meant they were finally back on track to looking for Sirius. He could only hope that Vizsla Marr was still on Tatooine. After getting clearance from the landing bay crew, Tobb flew towards the landing bay pointed out to him by Dahar. Much to the Bounty Hunters relief, his ship was still there. After setting his ship down on the landing bay, with a dull thud, Tobb spun in his seat and looked to the rest of the group.

"This is where we part ways" He said "Now, please leave quickly…this is a registered Republic ship, I don't want to be around here when the degenerates and low lifes on this planet learn of my presence here"

"We understand" James bowed "Thank you Tobb Jadak, you've been a massive help to us"

Tobb waved them off dismissively, as they made their way off the ship. As soon as Ahsoka, the last one to get off the ship, touched the rough and uneven ground of the landing bay, the boarding ramp went up, as the Stellar Envoy floated up into the air, going up several feet, before taking off, disappearing from view. Dahar mumbled to himself about disrespectful pilots, as he boarded his ship and began running through the computers. After a few seconds he turned to the others, a smile on his face.

"Good news" He said "Seems Vizsla Marr is still on Tatooine…his ship is still there…but we must hurry, because I imagine he won't be there for much longer"

As the ship began taking off from the landing bay, two figures stepped out from the darkness, with hoods to hide their identity. As the ship disappeared from view, they made sure that no one was around to eavesdrop before they removed their hoods, revealing themselves as Aayla Secura and Kit Fisto. They had found the ship, after tracking its serial code. However, no one was on board and after searching around the area, they weren't able to find Ahsoka or Harry. Because of this, they waited for them to return. Their patience paid off as, eventually, they saw Harry and Ahsoka, along with two men board the ship. Unsure on how dangerous the two strangers were, they kept themselves hidden and placed a tracking device against the hull of the ship, whilst they were inside. If they were going to confront the two men and find out why Harry and Ahsoka left Coruscant, they'd rather do it somewhere other then Lendin, where any unsavoury being could get involved.

Pulling out a handheld Holoprojector, Aayla Secura called the Jedi Temple, where the image Master Yoda, Master Windu and Master Kenobi appeared, sat in their seats. They watched as the miniature hologram of Yoda tilted his head curiously.

"Master Secura, Master Fisto" the ancient Jedi said "Information, for us, have you?"

"Yes Master Yoda" Aayla said "We saw Harry and Ahsoka board the ship, along with two strangers…we placed a tracking device on the hull of their ship and will continue to track them from here"

"You didn't try and talk with these strangers, to find out why they are with Harry and one of our Padawans?" Mace Windu asked

"Forgive us Master Windu" Fisto spoke up "But we do not know these strangers…nor how dangerous they might be…and we are on a planet full of all kinds of unsavoury degenerates, we didn't want to put our lives at unnecessary risk…besides, from the looks of things, Harry and Ahsoka weren't being held against their will and seemed unharmed…we placed a tracking device on their ship so we can see where they go next, and so we can talk to these strangers in a safer environment"

"I honestly think that was a wise move" Kenobi said, rubbing his chin "There's a reason the Republic, thus far, have chosen not to make negotiations with the people of Lendin…they aren't civilised folk…I'll also alert Anakin about your update on the situation…last thing I want is for him to blunder in there and get himself into unnecessary trouble…you know how he is"

"Wise, that is" Yoda nodded, in agreement, before his big eyes looked to the Hologram form of Master Secura and Master Fisto "These strangers, continue to follow, inform us of there location, do, when you find where they've gone next…and may the Force, be with you"

With that, the Hologram Forms of Yoda, Windu and Kenobi disappeared and Aayla put the Holoprojector away. Putting their hoods back up, Kit Fisto gave Aayla a curious look, as they made their way back to their ships, which they had kept hidden out the way, away from prying eyes of the people of Lendin.

"You didn't inform them of the disturbance you felt" He said

Whilst they were waiting for any signs of Harry and Ahsoka, Aayla had nearly been knocked to the ground, when a strange feeling filled her entire being. It lasted for mere seconds by it was enough to knock her backwards. Thankfully, Fisto was there to catch her before she hit the ground. Aayla sighed, not even breaking her stride. When Fisto had asked her what had happened, she informed him that she felt a strange sensation. Some kind of disturbance in the Force, though she had no idea as to what it was. What was curious was that Fisto hadn't felt it.

"I'm not sure what it was" She said "I'm not even sure if it was the Force…I couldn't even tell what it was…you didn't feel it…and considering the others didn't bring it up, they didn't feel it either…I want to meditate first, clear my mind and see if I can get a clearer grasp on what I felt…once I do, I shall inform the Council"

As the two Jedi Masters walked away, another hooded figure stepped out from the darkness. Making sure the Jedi were far enough away, the figure removed their hood, revealing the unmistakable appearance of Assajj Ventress. She pulled out her own Holoprojector, where she was greeted by the hologram form of Count Dooku, where Ventress, immediately bowed her head.

"Ventress, I hope that you have good news" Dooku said, his voice smooth, yet full of warning and danger

"Yes Master" Ventress replied "I was able to locate this Potter boy…however there were two Jedi also looking for him, so I kept myself hidden…I watched as the boy boarded a ship along with Ahsoka Tano and two strangers…I was able to attach a tracking device to the ship, without drawing the attention of the Jedi…I'll be able to stalk them, no matter where they go"

"Good" Dooku drawled "Well done, my apprentice…keep yourself out of sight, as you continue to track them…inform me, immediately, when and where they land…I'll immediately set off to greet the boy myself…after we deal with those Jedi!"

Done. Like I said. For some reason, I just couldn't get this chapter right after multiple rewrites.

But there are a couple notes of interest. For one. Any Star Wars fans who knows their Star Wars Legends, knows who Tobb Jadak and the Stellar Envoy are. For those who don't know, the Stellar Envoy is the Millennium Falcon, before it became the Millennium Falcon, with Tobb Jadak as one of its pilots during the Clone Wars. When writing this chapter I thought it would be cool if they got a lift by a pilot of the Millennium Falcon before it belonged to Lando and Han, similar to Kenobi and Luke looking for a pilot in A New Hope. However, I wanted to keep it accurate to the lore as I possibly could. Hopefully fans of Star Wars Legends enjoyed this little Easter egg of sorts.

Now, onto Ahsoka. So far, she has just been a character that has just been...there. However, with this chapter as the kick-starter, she will become a bigger character in this story. I don't want to spoil what I have planned for her story arc, but based on the brief conversation she and James had, you can probably already guess what that story arc is.

Anyway. that is all for now. I hope that you enjoyed this chapter, seeing as I didn't, and I hope to see you next time in whatever story I see you in.
