Akuyaku Reijou lost her parents because they objected against the beach, and now she's dead and then reincarnated as Charlotte of the Shadow Kingdom, the antagonist group of her past mother's favorite game. Charlotte is mostly destined to be doomed to either lose her powers (the ending not talked to her) or be screwed over royally: exile, arrest or dying, all by the hands of Angelique, the heroine.

"What to do now? Angelique is the heroine, a very good girl, but could I just... wait, I'm a villainess." Charlotte facepalmed. "Akuyaku Reijou. That's my past name. Anyways, that's me with an 18-year-old otaku inside. Being just an average aristocrat is already tiring, let alone royalty, much less as a princess... now early on in the story that's about to become messed up."

"But I remember, I have played a lot of my and mom's favorite game remastered on PC and eventually Surface..." Charlotte unlocked the Surface. "That game's story is too similar to the world I am now in. For starter, Charlotte myself is magnificent of a beautiful princess, powerful and cunning, deceitful but sympathetic, and have a simple but ambitious goal that just doesn't easily given up."

"That Angelique may be a kind person, but is basically a walking doom flag, and would bring my doom throughout all routes. I mean, she would eventually become a godlike saint of sorts with all white magic and..." Charlotte thought about the game. "In the bad ending, the only ending where Angelique lost, Charlotte get consumed by darkness in the end and had to be stripped of her power!"

"I was obsessed with otome games, especially the one my mom used to play." Charlotte opened the game. "But it never truly end well for Charlotte. That bad, just like I dying at the age of eighteen!"

Charlotte briefly looked at the save files, and began to recap what happened in all the routes through the Macbook. She realized that there's no cellular in this world at all, meaning she can't send the file to the Galaxy (which is now owned by Angelique) without using any magic to manipulate the devices and send things wirelessly. "Being nobles, but without actually cellular connection? Geez, guess I have to use magic to create cellular itself."

"Back to the note... A prince of mine, named Leonardo, that was sadistic and two-faced, but brave and had a wonderful smile... He's also a childhood friend of Angelique." Charlotte now thought about the prince, Leonard. "He's engaged to me, the princess, who blamed him and secretly tried to manipulate him into betraying the heroine, and well, kept him on her embrace. Wait... Prince... Leonardo?"

"And what was the villainess's name again? Just wondering..." Charlotte checked the game. "PRINCESS CHARLOTTE!?"

"It... It can't be... No, I have to truly remember everything, and do a longplay!"

And so, Charlotte began to research the game for Akuyaku Reijou. The game is shown to take place in a fantasy setting, where the player forged romantic relationships with the characters. The heroine, Angelique, blond hair and blue eyes, is a commoner who possesses light magic. She arrives in the Shadow Kingdom as a refuge at age 18, and meet the four love interests. The first is the fourth prince of the kingdom, Leonardo. The second is Leonardo's twin brother, Allen. The third is another refugee of the same age as her, Marcus. The fourth is the son of the premier, Noel. And then... the rival, the game's villainess, and the former victim, princess Charlotte, one brown eye and one blue eye, mix of brown and blonde, age 18.

In the happy endings, after putting the heroine into crime-level trouble through sheer manipulation and charm, she's stripped of her nobility status, and either exiled or arrested, depending on the actions of the chosen love interest, and the kingdom crumbled with her. After all that, the heroine is happily engaged with the chosen love interest, and in the case of Leonardo, even crowned queen of the kingdom that replace the Shadow Kingdom. But in the bad ending, despite the love interest's effort, Charlotte managed to arrest the heroine, but ended up going insane from the process and had to be killed by the love interest. Having murdered the only remaining active heir to the kingdom, all the possible love interests breaks up with the heroine out of fear and shame, and leaves the kingdom to crumble.

"If I remember right as the game intended, it's pretty much as bad across all the routes! Exiled or arrested in the good endings, killed in the bad ending? Isn't there any happy ending for me at all!? Really only bad endings!?"

Charlotte is in denial, so she finished the playthrough and asked the nobles about everything about not only the Dark Kingdom, but also a lot about Angelique and her community. The more she looked into it, the more infos confirmed and the more she's convinced. After a few exhausting days of research...

"This is it! This IS the world my mom's favorite game took place in! Then that's mean I'm really... I'm truly in the otome game and I'm going to meet my doom if I never change course!"

One morning later...

"Lady, why did you call us so suddenly?" Allen asked.

"I want to have a word with Angelique. Your potential girlfriend." Charlotte replied. "Two reasons. One, I now host a reincarnation of a Japanese otaku named Akuyaku Reijou. Two, Angelique's actually my long-lost twin, exiled out of the kingdom."

"I know you're gonna be shocked at this, but I got the latter information from Reijou herself." Charlotte continued. "In your respective routes, sooner or later you'll find out that Angelique is my lost twin exiled. You'd find that out late in the game, generally."

The entire kingdom became confused. Angelique just so happened to pass by, and noticed Charlotte's words. She took the Galaxy she gave her, and went straight to the castle.

"Hello, my long-lost twin. Akuyaku Reijou wants to meet you herself. She's an otaku, by the way." Charlotte greeted Angelique. "What have you found?"

"Ummm... A certain minimal village or something?" Angelique saw the Dusty Depot. "What? You mean..."

Charlotte proceeded to explain her finding about the game and about Akuyaku Reijou herself, spoiling the entire kingdom and the refugees there the entire game as a necessity to understand the situation. And finally, she concluded that Akuyaku Reijou is from the real life, and that the entire Shadow Kingdom is fictional.

"Now back to you, Angelique." Charlotte focused on Angelique.

"I can't send you anything or call you." Angelique replied. "There's no cellular connection anywhere."

"Oh, I nearly forgot you can't call me with that." Charlotte chuckles.

"But I captured images with it." Angelique showed the images of Dusty Depot replacing her old home.

"What!?" The entire kingdom is shocked.

Charlotte, Angelique and the love interests went to the home and found Dusty Depot, just as found, with Charlotte even wearing the backpack and packed things which Reijou once did before death. Suddenly, the electronics got connection right at their very eye, with both Wi-fi and cellular not only fully active 24/7 here, but 5G and fastest possible and all.

"What? The cellular is now working!" Charlotte noticed.

"Look! Someone's running around, wrecking things here!" Marcus noticed.

It's Cain Marko, the Juggernaut, smashing the Depot into rubbles. And then he noticed the party.

"Nobody stops the Juggernaut!" He charged against the party.

The love interests hid themselves away, leaving the main duo facing against the nigh-invulnerable brute. They casted protection spell to hold the Juggernaut, and then evaded.

"He seems... physically immutable and impervious!" Charlotte noticed. "If we never evaded, his rush would've killed us!"

"Everyone! Avoid him! If he ran you, you'll die!" Angelique warned the love interests.

And the party evaded the Juggernaut for several minutes, they've exhausted themselves and is about to die. Charlotte thought about something...

"Whosoever touches this gem shall possess the power of the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak! Henceforth, you who read these words, shall become... forevermore... a human juggernaut!"

"That's it! The crimson gem to make one unstoppable!" Charlotte noticed. "I'm gonna snatch the gem."

Charlotte casted out shadow touch to snatch the power of the Gem of Cyttorak just as Cain himself charged ahead, causing him to stops and vibrate.

"No... No...! No!" Cain is stunned.

"Bow before the princess off the powerful, mighty Dark Kingdom! Charlotte!" The princess takes the gem from the jugger. "And don't harm my light shining lost twin. Or whatever counts."

De-powered, Cain still charged ahead as a last ditch effort to take back the gem. However, the holy light beam from Angelique struck the man paralyzing him. He collapses and passes out.

"This stranger's under arrest. Send him to the cell." Charlotte commanded.

"By using this non-existent gem, one could become truly unstoppable?" Angelique looks closely at the gem.

"The gem definitely is neither from this world, nor from real life." Charlotte examines the gem. "With its power, one could basically do anything that isn't directly affected by reality warping. And... both of us alone have potential to become reality warpers in any appropriate ending, capable of changing this planet at our very whim. That gem could turn us into capital-G Gods!"

"Let's go inside one of the buildings." Angelique enters the blue warehouse.

The party went in the blue warehouse, and found two anachronistically-strange things to them: a futuristic DeLorean Alpha5, and a Chrome ball besides it.

"Looks like a certain time machine some internet talked about..." Charlotte them searched for DeLorean and its things. Including Back to the Future things.

Angelique looks at the ball, and saw something very ominous: the rift caster from the Last Reality eventually known as the Zerobreaker, who tried to take over the omniverse as a revenge upon those that seemingly wronged her for some certain reasons.

And then the ball shows a man wearing a neon yellow rescue jacket, and fitted with cybernetics.

"Who is this man?" Angelique asked.

Charlotte then glanced at the ball. "That's a cyberpunk who made himself legendary. Apparently, his name is David Martinez."

"He... helped recruiting those across the omniverse, just to... kill that caster!?" Angelique is shocked.

"The realities... Oh, I remember..." Charlotte recalled what N and M discussed about. "Oh yeah, every realities, every dimensions and infinite possibilities, if I guess that royally."

"At this rate, our story has long been completely kicked off the rails..." The love interests mumbled.

Charlotte entered the DeLorean and put the gem on the other seat, with herself occupying the driver's seat. However, a red flash blinked inside the car, briefly blinding the process and the way. Then, red lightning surged from the car itself, and Charlotte found herself...

"The gem actually resonated with this machine!?"

"What!?" The rest of the party is shocked.

"Now it's also bigger on the inside than the outside as well." Charlotte responded. "Please take a seat."

"Normal this would've been too cramped..." Angelique sighed.

The party entered the transformed DeLorean, and indeed the seats are compressed so the interior actually got bigger.

"If I remember this correctly, going at least 88 miles per hour would result in a... rather revolutionary quantum shift of sorts." Charlotte presses the pedal. "I don't really know how to drive, but hey, it works."

The princess drove the DeLorean and stumbled in the process. Thankfully, the power of the Gem of Cyttorak managed to give her instinct about insight on how to drive, allowing the princess to learn.

The vehicle arrived afternoon, just in time for lunch. Expecting a good taste of nobles' food, what they found was sitting to the table: twelve almost-bleakly dresses people and a man in red coat with a clock for a face.

"Uh, we..." They have no idea on who the party are. "What's this, your, um... Highness?"

Charlotte took the iPhone and used Google Lens on people. Turns out, these people are the Sinners from Limbus Company.

"Limbus Company?" Angelique peeks.

"While we're on our way to our next mission, we were suddenly warped outside of the City, and crashed into this castle." Faust explained. "We examined the place, and found that-"

"We're in a fantasy setting with some magical, uh... shot happening." Charlotte replied. "Welcome to the black... yes, Dark Kingdom. May I please know your name?"

Clearly, Charlotte's soul is assimilated by Akuyaku Reijou through reincarnation, shifting her character.

"Pleased you meet you, Highness?" Rodion nervously replied.

"We're from the Limbus Company." Heathcliff introduced themselves. "We're the Sinners, basically the employees of that Limbus. We ride on a vehicle, looks like a cross between a train and a bus, called 'Mephistopheles'. Powered by a hybrid of extracted Enkephalin and ground up organic matter used as biofuel, noth of which are extracted by us Sinners inserting subjects into the vehicle's fuel intake. As Faust will note you, more can be extracted from living subjects than dead ones."

"So Mephistopheles crashed our castle..." Leonardo facepalmed.

"As for our name... Yi Sang, Faust, Don Quixote, Ryōshū, Hong Lu,Heathcliff, Ishmael, Rodion, Emil Sinclair, Outis, Gregor." Hong Lu revealed. "Dante is our Manager, but even then..."

"Why the clock man only give away clock ticking sounds?" Angelique asked.

"Except we can hear them just fine." Outis replied. "They needs an interpreter for what they meant to say."

And then in a true princess fashion, Charlotte proceeded to explain about the game and about Akuyaku Reijou herself, spoiling the entire game, and then that Akuyaku Reijou is reincarnated into her, and that the entire Shadow Kingdom is fictional.

"Are you telling us that... we're sticking in a non-existent game with young girl reincarnated as a villainess!?" The Sinners flabbergasted.

Dante trying to talk is equivalent to a clock face ticking, much to their dismay.
