After watching the entire backstory, Night City was hit by an upheaval, and the party - the reincarnated villainess, her heroine and those love interests, their friends, the Sinners and the people who had escaped from the destroyed game world - all became a centerpiece for a controversy surrounding alternative worlds. The party's response? They called everyone to help investigate the conspiracy behind the Order of the Pariah, the force that the original family's murderers were working with.

This caught the attention of N and M, the said murderers. They had been spying on Night City for quite some time from their vantage point.

"The villainess got attention for uncovering our order." N points to princess Charlotte. "We have to report to the queen."

"They could try and arrest us if we intervene. That wouldn't be safe," M replied. "Let's go get the report, as you suggested."

N and M teleported back to the Beach shortly thereafter. They landed in the prison zone and then passed by, intending to bring the news to the queen herself.

"Hey!" A young Agnian oddball martial artist shouted at N. "Why would you put us into this inter-dimensional cell?!"

"I told you a dozen times already, Vandham. You're dangerous for us." N dismissed.

"Matthew, it's useless. We cannot escape this!" The martial artist's sister pleaded. "We must have been imprisoned for a reason. And we can't fight against beings that can annihilate forces like Alpha."

"Na'el, what are you thinking again? We are the Ouroboros!" Matthew Vandham replied.

"Doyle. You wicked war mage, still as complaining as ever." M dismissed.

"And you too, Rhodes, Ortiz, Reid and Cassini. You're too dangerous. We had to put you in this very prison." N told the Founders. "And those from the old future too. You are a liability to us!"

"At least unlike you, this N, I briefly worked with Moebius N to finish off Alpha!" Matthew argued.

"It doesn't matter who am I to you, other than that I goes by N, and that woman of mine goes by M." N dismissed again. "Stop comparing us to those lacking Moebius. Nevermind, both Moebius and Ontos all had a point at some point. The endless now, necessitates bringing redeemable peoples into a new world, while two endlessly-led factions brings the old one to ruins!"

"No, the future we have to work for-" Matthew argued.

Silence! Our queen would rather let Aionios be ravaged, and that 'Alpha' force be the right way." M refuted. "All the more reason to keep an eye on you."

"I know Matthew is right." Glimmer (Kagiroi/カギロイ) Rhodes talks back and draws out her her staff (Wildfire Kithara). "You think a heartless machine can decide the future, or put an end of the olden people and saving the new only because of the states of the world-"

Suddenly, the Founders got electrocuted together the moment Glimmer use the staff.

"Argh! Ouch!" Nikol Ortiz cowers down in response.

"Rhodes, have you forgotten?" N told Glimmer. "We have set up the cell so that if any of you use your powers, you gets electrocuted. And we also fitted it with our copy of Kizna System integrated behind the bars, your friends get electrocuted too."

"Spark off! I hate you both!" Glimmer is pissed off. "I stands for Ouroboros!"

"Hmph." M dismissed.

"Glimmer, we really can't escape."/"カギロイ、本当に逃げられないんだよ..." Na'el told Glimmer.

"Sorry, Glimmer... we're all stuck."/"ごめん、カギロイ…私たちはみんな行き詰まってしまったんです..." Nikol is let down.

"This isn't acceptable..." Glimmer is ashamed.

"We can't give up yet!" Matthew stands up for the Founders. "We have to do something to break out!"

"That cell electrocutes us whenever we use our powers!" Na'el warned her brother. "Matthew, the electrocution extends to all in the cell, even!"

"Yeah, we cannot escape by ourselves." Panacea Reid agreed.

"We have to wait until someone open the cell and bring us out." Linka (Rinka/リンカ) Cassini replied. "You have a problem realizing that?" *shrugs*

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, we'll just stay here until we get out of this cell." Future Shulk stands up with Monado Replica EXplus.

Future Rex shakes his head. "The kids are fed up already, and yet here we are, still stuck in this strange place."

"Also, the bars render us to the level of an average human, when each of these can easily be broken by an average super soldier!" Glimmer complained. "Argh! I hate this place!"

"That leaves us with only one tool... the Irises..." Matthew realized. "Maybe we should contact to others nearby."

And Matthew, unusually compared to his fighting antics and impulsive nature, of his tendency to think before acting as he normally do, he now proceeded to spam communication with his Iris to catch anything that communicates, especially the other Irises like what the Ouroboros has.

"There must be others like us." Matthew kept communication going, using the Iris.

"Why?" Na'el questioned.

"I knew it, we needs help." Matthew replied. "If we can't get out by ourselves, someone's gotta free us and our snuffing butt!"

Matthew kept the Iris on the demand to pick up any signal that can contact to Ouroboros.

A few days passed, and save for the fellow prisoners in the whole realm, nobody had been able to break out any cell. Na'el cried, while Matthew still keep the Iris on.

-*sobs* "Are we going to be trapped until we get executed or worse..." Na'el lamented.

"Hey, kids." Future Rex called Glimmer and Nikol. "Do you remember that heartless machine?"

"That means, Alpha. The one who tried to bring the City to a new world and destroy Aionis." Future Shulk conversed. "Alpha's plan to destroy the world doomed the innocent people forced to fight in the war without any hope of freedom, all without learning that Moebius perpetuated the same war. Once we were done with Alpha and became the new Trinity Processor..."

Shulk and Rex both recite the data from Origin, and from there they retold the events over a thousand years later (i.e. the main story of Xenoblade Chronicles 3). In the meantime, the reincarnated party dubbed O.R.A.C. has used the technology from the Night City to make the satellites be able to contact with all kinds of communication signals across multiverses.

"All road leads to corps, that one princess. Are you sure they're gonna treat you well?" Some residents of Night City questioned Charlotte.

"So N actually did it." Matthew smirked in response, while keeping the communication on demand.

"To spark off, you constantly use your Iris just to get help?" Glimmer questioned.

"Wait... there's finally some signal!" Matthew reported. "Hello? Can you help me? Matthew Vandham and friends are in-"

"Matthew, are you serious!?" Na'el stands up.

"It's actually working." Angelique heard Matthew through the multiversal radio. "It's working well!"

"Uh, everyone, use your Irises!" Matthew told the Founders.

"What!?" Future men are surprised.

"Someone's finally got our signal!" Matthew shouted.

"What the..." Na'el is flabbergasted. "Ok, ok, I'll take it. Just. Once." *activates her Iris*

The rest of the Founders activated their respective Irises, and found out the makeshift inter-dimensional satellite system made from the the Crimson Gem and technologies from the Night City.

"Mosh, mosh, Akuyaku Reijou, reincarnated into the princess from Shadow Kingdom from a game, speaking. The name is Charlotte." Charlotte then discusses spoilers of the game to the Founders.

"What's this? And who exactly are you?" Na'el questioned.

"We're from the other worlds beyond even yours, miss Doyle." Angelique contacted.

"What!? How do you know my name!?" Na'el is shocked.

"From internet from a real world. Her past life was that of an otaku of modern day." Angelique responded.

"So you mean that strange princess." Na'el deduces Charlotte to be.

Angelique nods in response. Then Matthew said these: "We're in a realm called 'the Beach', currently trapped in a strange prison cell that electrocute us whenever any of us use any of our powers at all."

"Mr. Vandham from Future Redeemed, what happened?" Charlotte asked Matthew.

"So, here's how we got here..." Matthew proceeded to explain... *flashback*

In the newly re-merged and restored world, peoples from this world, old and split and new, all continued as if everything's as it was and is, except this time the ones originating from Aionios were no longer in war with itself, with no Kevesi and Agnians fighting against each other the same way they did back in the brutal war the Moebius perpetuated. The landscape is a subtle mix of the original world and Aionios, minus the Annihilation Events that no longer (really) was.

The Lucky Seven - the party, not the sword - the Aegises and their friends, Klaus, Galea and the Ouroboros was among those restored after the correct merger, alongside those from both iterations of the City and those from the original world. This allowed them, among Kevesi/Bionis-Mechonis inhabitants and Agnians/Alrestians to reunite with each other. No more war for the two halves, for the worlds has merged properly. However...

"We have new target, we have new target. WE HAVE NEW TARGET!" Some Realitiers caught sight of the restored world. "Take this world and make them suffer!"

The Founders reunited weeks after the true merger, mainly through deja vu they experience matching that of their time in Aionios. They only remembers their time as supposed to be in their relative and respective worlds and very little of their time together. (Cue their reintroduction to reach other)

But suddenly, they disappeared. So did the Ouroboros, all of the sudden. And Aegises. And Lucky Seven. Suddenly, they all found themselves in a... certain place.

They suddenly awoke with tears stinging their eyes, blurring the(ir) vision. It was dark, wherever this is. Blinking, they all tried to remember why he'd been crying, the memory of it just out of reach. As they kept wiping their tears however, they all froze.

Light flickered in their cleared vision in the form of moving images projected onto a screen at the back of a stage. The images depicted Matthew, the Founders and friends Interlinking for the first time ever in Ouroboros' history.

"What? Could this be?" Matthew suddenly realized.

The images changed scenes, flashing to the modern Ouroboros overlooking a cliff. A chill ran through him as he saw their mouths moving. Though no sound was played, some could hear their words because he remembered them.

"No. No." Noah realized.

They were all seated in a large, grand ampitheatre.

The images changed; the world tugged apart, dragging each party away from each other. They ran futilely towards each other, arms reaching out to maybe, just maybe, clasp hands, delay the inevitable. But it was fruitless, and the two worlds drifted apart, taking their respective residents with them.

"It is fascinating, is it not?" A familiar voice.

And the images changed again; this time, the two worlds flashed back into a singular world that originally was. A blue glowing dot is falling towards the world.

"What?" All the Ouroboros noticed.

Everyone whipped heads around to face the once who had spoken. Sitting calmly in a chair, eyes reflecting the light of the moving images on the screen as he gazed on them.

Z. "That despite your choices, your efforts and your earned future, you find yourself here once more."

Anger boiled inside them at the sound of that voice. Especially of the modern Ouroboros.

Leaping to their feet, Noah tried to summon their weapons, but the outline of it from place and even in Irises wasn't even there. Unlike before the end, when it was blocked by X through Z's power, there was nothing to call. Same went to the olden Ouroboros and their associates - their powers were inactive and thus rendered useless.

"Did you not cast it away? Especially you, Noah?" Z questioned. "And as for the Founders and others... aren't you all dead already?"

The statement(s) was/were punctuated by the projection on the screen, showing Noah casting away the sheathed Lucky Seven - The Sword of the End, the Sword of Origin - into the Great Sea. It had felt right at the time. After the end, he had figured he would have had no need of it anymore.

And then, images changes to Shulk, Rex and A - Alvis's conscience taken form- replacing the Trinity Processor, after Alpha is defeated. And the images then changed to that of Matthew leaving to parts unknown to bring the remaining survivors of the original City to the new one, having founded the said incarnation that the modern Ouroboros would collaborate a millennia later.

Everyone is visibly shocked - especially Matthew and Noah. The two briefly looks at each other.

"N?"

A subtle self-satisfied smirk settled on Z's face, and his mouth opened to speak... Noah's power frame whined as he amd Mio hurled a punch at Z's face, each punch that would have made Mio proud.

Unfortunately, neither fists connected. One moment Z was there, and the next he was not, leaving behind bits of purple miasma. His punch simply dented the lip of the chair Z had been perched, the impact busting open one of the scars on their knuckles, especially Noah's.

Basically nobody paid attention to that and instead glared at the theatre around him. In what couldn't have been a coincidence for the modern Ouroboros, the screen was silently showing Moebius O and P's interlinked form sliding back from the force of Mio's punch. As if Z were mocking them.

"Where did he go?" Eunie smugged.

"O you who floats in the currents."

-*flashback abruptly ends*

"Are you daydreaming? Or are you mumbling?" A soldier from the Beach interrupted Matthew.

"I am telling a story. It's personal, stay out." Matthew responded.

To be continued...
