Makeup
Sometime in Season six
Angela rushed around, clearly excited to be attending another movie with Tony at the theater. She'd already discarded her boring business suit and had put on a sweater that looked rather nice, not that Mona would ever tell her daughter that.
But why was her face so plain?
"Angela, put some makeup on," Mona said as her daughter zipped down the upstairs hallway in excitement.
Angela paused, as if such a thing had never occurred to her, and Mona rolled her eyes. Why did her own daughter know nothing about catching a man? "No, Mother, I don't want to give Tony the wrong idea about tonight," Angela said, before starting to walk away.
"Why can't it be the right idea?" Mona said stopping her daughter again. "A little color on your cheeks and lips can drive a man wild, especially in the dim light of a theater." She touched Angela's cheek, showing her where the blush should be placed.
"Mother, I'm not trying to drive Tony 'wild.' I just want to spend an evening watching a movie with him. Angela removed her mother's hand. She could be surprisingly strong when she wished.
"Hey, Angela, are you ready yet?" Tony's voice said from downstairs.
"Yes," Angela said, disappearing without the makeup.
When would those kids ever get together?
