One year ago, Kuoh Academy

Life's a big pile of steaming dog shit. This is a fact I have long since known. A fact that was made more apparent when I died cause some truck driver didn't know shit about driving. Of course I thought that would be the end of my short and miserable life. But no, some God decided that I was still ripe for some more misery. So I got a second chance at life. Hooray! Right? Well nope not in fact hooray. Because said God was a total dick and thought he was being funny when he decided to be a menace for no apparent reason. How was he a menace you might ask? Well lemme explain.

I was dubbed his horsemen. Given a task to seek out the greater world and to find purpose. It certainly wasn't something I was expecting upon my death.

That in itself was alright but he named me the Conquest Devil, Control Devil or Devil of Dominance. Those were title's I was rather familiar with, Makima. He turned me into an incarnation of fucking Makima. I don't know why or even how. Why was I suddenly the Control Devil? I didn't know.

And now I looked like a chick because of it. But not like Makima so that was a win atleast. Unfortunately I still had her creepy but cool swirly eye's. But not like it's all bad, I got her power too I guess. Which easily makes me pretty strong here. Why am I so confident you might ask? Well this was a fictional world, High School DXD more specifically. Was there people here who could sneeze me out of existence? Yes there were.

But you see, I view every single thing, every single entity as something fictional. Unhealthy? Yes. Useful? Yes. But you see even if say, you looked up to a fictional character, you'd always know said character was not real and hence inferior. Now, I had Makima's power, now do the math.

Then again her power was a tad more complicated. It's tied to my mentality. If I see someone bust down a planet, of course I'd known they'd beat my ass. Meaning I'd no longer see them as inferior, regardless if they're fictional.

Though I'd very much like to say I won't involve myself in the canon events of this world, that was kinda impossible. See when God turned me into this Control Devil femboy and sent my ass here, I ended up in some other back water town. Lemme tell you, I could've played a drinking game for the amount of creepy ass men who wanted a piece of me. That's when I knew I couldn't live like this. But barring that I was a minor again. A minor who was quickly discovered and placed in some orphanage. Of course I let it happen. Though I didn't really need a place to stay, as I didn't need sleep. Seeing as what I currently was. Regardless I showed them I was smart, they decided I was the shit and sent me to Kuoh Academy, which was prestigious apparently.

Of course I could've easily persuaded (controlled them) to not send me to that school, but eh. Not like I'll be too directly involved in the plot. I'll just be a mob character. Though with these freaky eye's not standing out could prove tedious. Either way as long as you mind your business, being in the DXD universe isn't that arduous. Beside not like I'll be completely useless. Though it cost me my total manliness from my previous life, I did have Makima's skill set. That God had said he had amped my power accordingly to this world. I could use that weird force bullshit of hers. See through eye's of animals and whatnot. I'm absurdly strong physically. And of course as long as I view something as inferior then I could control it. Also I had a good nose. And apperantly I liked dog's now. There was of course the contracts too, which I'll get into later. Still though those were the abilities I mainly focused on, I've yet to properly test out what this body can do.

But now that that's all out of the way I find myself in my classroom. I was a second year. I was actually suppose to be a first year, but I decided to skip a year, because I could. I've been at school for a month now, and already I made a name for myself. See the first time I came here, I was actually rather popular. With the girl's and a surprising amount of boy's, they cooed cause I looked cute or something, and apperantly they found my eye's exotic. 'Course I wasn't about that life so I was a total dick for most of the school year. This helped these lower beings know their place. Now yes I could simply have commanded them to leave me alone, but I wasn't going to use this power for every small inconvenience.

Yes so now I'm an outcast. People wouldn't even look in my general direction anymore. That was good, I didn't need a bunch of anime chicks and dude's flocking all over me. But barring that life in High School DXD was pretty uneventful. Well that was soon to change.

I could feel her staring again, that red haired chick, shit. What was her name again? Been so long since I've watched the show. I only had a basic grasp on some knowledge here, but I dropped it pretty soon. Too much fan service. And every chick immediately looses all sense of individuality the moment they fall for the Issei dude. It's why harem anime are so trash, all girl's in it are just glorified pieces of fan service, that fall for the main character immediately. I mean some are understandable but not the vast majority. But I digress.

But barring that, being in highshool again is tedious. When I was still alive, I had just finished my last year, now here I am. Back again.

I sighed as I shut my eyes, but I still saw. Though my vision was no longer engulfed with the dull classroom, instead I overlooked the school courtyard. Through the eye's of one of my bird's, my vision wasn't really effected by this. It was relatively still normal. But anyway said bird was perked up a tree and overlooking someone. Issei, and his degenerate friend's. They were just seated on the grass, talking about which were superior between boobs, ass, hell they even threw in armpits and even feet. Good God.

Reopening my eye's I was staring at my classroom again. Issei was a first year now, though the red head chick doesn't seem that interested in him currently. Guess his Sacred Gear will only begin manifesting next year or something. I don't know , I wasn't an expert in the DXD universe, but it be important to apply myself. So let's see here, though I hate the Makima bitch with a passion it was prudent to take a page out of her book. Such as establishing contracts. That part came easy, just go to some prison and force rapist and pedophiles to make contracts. It was relatively easy getting in and out of the jail. Just told the guards to look the other way and erase any footage of my being there. I managed to make about 50 contracts, so I won't be dying anytime soon. Though that was awhile ago, and some of them already died. So I might need to make more contracts.

But still. Issei was unfortunately a person of interest. Being the main character meant he was chock full of plot armor. So, perhaps Issei could be the Denji to my Makima. I mean I wasn't going to be a manipulative bitch, but if I wanted to survive I might need to act out of character. So I cupped my hands together on my desk and leaned further back in my chair.

Let's see, some girl is gonna come around a pretend to be Issei's girlfriend, said girlfriend will be a Fallen Angel looking to kill him because of his Sacred Gear. So that's the point where I need to intercept. But at that time the red head will already have her eye's on Issei. If I remember correctly she needed him to for the Rating Game's. She's not like to part with him, cause she's desperate. And when she figures out he's got that Dragon, then she'll never tear her eye's off him.

He'd be a valuable part of her Peerage. So what to do. If I want Issei, I'll need to get more involved. I had an inkling as to what I needed to do.

"Hello." My internal musings was cut short when a familiar voice addressed me. Glancing to where it came from I saw the red head. "You're Hinata correct?"

I merely nodded at the girl as she continued.

"There was something I wanted to discuss with you , if that's okay."

Ah, I remember now. Rias Gremory. That was her name. Surprised I forgot it in the first place. But I'm guessing she wants to talk because she's way too impatient and probably already figured out what I am. Well my eye's gave it away. Eye's that seemed to slightly unnerved her as I bore into her soul. But I guess her impatience is understandable and beneficial. I so hate beating around.

"You wish to converse Gremory?" The question came out much duller then intended.

"If it's no trouble." She spoke with a bright smile that would have any guy swooning over it. But me? Nah I was built different so no swooning. Coupled with the fact that I did not find her attractive. Dunno if becoming a devil took away any of that desires.

"It's not."

"Great." She spoke as she gestured me to follow her. "But it be prudent if we could discuss this away from prying eye's."

"Lead the way." With that the two of us exited the classroom and walked onto the hallway. I trailed slightly behind her but of course kid's all around us murmured loudly at the sight of us walking together. Though one stare was enough to make them shut up. Luckily the whole trip had not taken too long as we found ourselves at the old school building only having to pass a couple of tree's before we reached the home of the Occult Research Club. Gremory hadn't spoken much on our trip here, but I was content with the silence so I merely followed her into the building.

We walked down a relatively short hallway before we reached what I assumed was the main room. It was dimly lit yet that did not hid its apperanl extravagance. It was spacious, with a number of thing's sprawled about. Ranging from something like a wardrobe to even paintings on the wall. While in the middle was a simple wooden table with two comfortable looking couches on either side of it.

"Oh my~ You've brought a rather cute one today, Rias." An other voice quickly got my attention. Long black hair and violet eye's. Was about the only two thing's I noticed. The half breed. "Oh! Where are my manners? Akeno Himejima, a pleasure." She spoke with exaggerated entusiam as she threw a wink my way. "I'll be brewing some tea, how do you take yours?"

"Black." Like my soul, jokes I'm not that edgy yet.

The Raven haired girl merely gave me a smile before she departed.

"Please, have a seat." Rias spoke while gesturing to the couches. Obliging , I took a seat while she sat on the couch across from me. The only thing separating us was the wooden table. And so we sat in silence, her bright red hair becoming an eyesore so I closed my eye's as I leaned further back into the couch.

The silence continued for a few seconds until I heard Akeno's approaching footsteps. Reopening my eye's I saw her walk with a tray full of cookies and three cups of tea. Sitting it atop the table she handed me a cup.

"Here, nice, hot and ready.~" She spoke as I took the cup, merely taking a single sip I placed it back on the table as Akeno walked and stood beside the seated Rias, taking a long sip of her own tea.

"You know, this is a rather popular brand of tea." Rias started. "It comes from abroad, it's rich in flavour yet still somehow bitter at the same time."

"Fascinating and all, but I'd imagine you didn't grab me from class just to talk about tea. Be blunt, Gremory." My word's seemed to work as the smile on her face immediately dropped instead, she adopted a far more serious face. An expression most of the student body would find out of character no doubt.

"Well then if you insist, Hinata. You see I'm rather curious on what a Horsemen is doing in Kuoh." Didn't think she'd be that blunt but eh.

I merely smiled, as I clasped my hands together while folding one leg over the other.

Conquest.

War.

Famine.

And Death.

To those unfamiliar with the supernatural those might just seem like simple concepts that everyone knew. But to those who even just had an inkling as to what the world truly was, they knew those were far more then mere concepts. The Four Horsemen were known by all, and even feared by more.

They were devil's, but apperantly unique one's.

Rias didn't know what made them so unique, she didn't know much about the Horsemen to draw any worthwhile conclusion. They were an enigma, unknown and unorthodoxed power's. They also held a neutral stance. They never supported their devil brethren nor any other faction. In fact they never daned to even show themselves.

Which is why this was strange. One of them going to school in Kuoh as if it's the most normal thing ever. So as Rias watched to boy before her leisurely fold one leg atop the othe while clasping his hands together, she could not help but find the smile spread across his face unnerving. It wasn't the fact that since Rias saw him, she's never seen him even quirk up his lips, no it was more because of how eery the smile look. An empty smile that didn't quite reach his eye's.

"What a silly question." He spoke, the eery smile still present on his face. "I'm here for an education." He answered simply as if said answer should've been obvious. Yet Rias frowned at the smiling boy.

"If I may also be blunt, Hinata. But I've heard the Horsemen were around since even before the Great War. So one seemingly seeking education here, is a bit strange, no?" Akeno spoke up, a smile gracing her own face as Rias smirked too. She might have not known much about these Horsemen but Akeno seemed plenty knowledgeable. As always her queen had her back.

"True we Horsemen boast long lives. But I'm merely the latest incarnation of one." He informed, smile still present while both girls looked slightly confused at his word's. Their expressions being something he took note of.

"Well I suppose it wouldn't hurt to share this tid bit of information. After all you've been generous enough to give me tea." He spoke, though he didn't sound grateful if his monotonous voice was anything to go by. "See when we Horsemen die, we're subjected to reincarnation. Though I retain some memories of my former self and some basic knowledge, there are still gaps in said knowledge. Gaps I aim to fill."

"That's quite...interesting." Rias began, taking in all of the information. If what he said was true then it would be understandable for him to attend a school, but Rias was still curious about something. "Which Horsemen are you?" She asked bluntly. Ever so slightly the boy's smile turned into more of a slight smirk.

"I think I'll keep that to myself, need a few card's up my sleeve, no?" Rias huffed at the answer and nearly pouted much to the amusement of her chuckling queen. "But I suppose I owe you something for being so blunt."

Rias didn't know whether that counted as a compliment but she kept quiet.

"How would you like a contract Rias Gremory?" The offer caught both girls slightly off guard.

"Contract?" Akeno questioned as Hinata nodded.

"Yes, a simple contract between Devil's." He stated, them not really being surprised he knew of their nature. He was a Devil too afterall.

"What would this contract intail? And why offer it to me?" Rias questioned.

"Well see I've had my eye on somebody, one Issei Hyoudou." He informed and Rias noted the familiarity of the name.

Whenever they had tea or played a game of chess, Sona often complained about one Issei Hyoudou. Apparently the boy was a blatant degenerate and pervert. Said pervert immensely annoying Sona whenever the girl hears of his new perverted escapades. It was quite amusing seeing the usually calm and collected Sona so annoyed. Yet what interests could a Horsemen have in such a boy?

"My, my Hinata~ I didn't know you swung that way." Akeno teased, having seemingly taken the boy's word's the wrong way.

Yet said boy did not react in any way, much to her disappointment. His girly looks made him rather cute, so him being all flusterd would've been a cute sight she'd burn into her mind.

"Why do you have an interests in this Issei?" Rias finnally asked.

"Well he'll be manifesting a powerful Sacred Gear in a years time, give or take."He informed as Rias quirked up an eyebrow.

"Though I rarely see him, I think I would've detected something by now..." Rias mutterd as Hinata continued.

"I have my way's Gremory, but that's beside the point. I wish to make you an offer. You would no doubt wish to take him in once this manifestation takes place."

"I suppose, if he truly does possess one then he'll be a target. Joining either my or someone else's Peerage could grant him safety." She informed.

"That's true, but I need Issei. No doubt will you as well, I've heard about the situation in your family. With the...uhm...what was his name again? The fire chicken, yes we'll go with that." Akeno stiffed a laugh while Rias gave the boy a questioning look.

"So you're aware of the soon to be established Rating Game, for my hand in marriage." She concluded. Though it wasn't exactly common knowledge yet, it was also no big secret. Then again it took alot of effort to be able to participate in this Rating Game. Even next she would be too young too participate, but an expection was made.

"I do, which is why you would need strong Peerage member's." She kept quiet as he continued. "Though you should still go about collecting said members, I can take care of the fire chicken. All I would need is a single conversation. And then no more arranged marriage." He offerd with a smile.

"Though that sounds appealing , how do I know you can do it?" She questioned slightly scepticallly.

"You've nothing to loose Gremory. Just get me face to face with him." Hinata spoke as he stood up from his seat. "So, Gremory. Do we have a deal?"

Rias pondered it. She really did have nothing to loose if he couldn't pull through. But he seemed confident he could, but then again he was a Horsemen after all. And an opportunity such as this might not present itself again. Though Rias lacked any decent knowledge on the Horsemen, she surmised that they wouldn't just show themselves like this. Much less offer a contract.

"Very well I accept, and in turn I suppose I'll keep clear of Issei." The boy nodded as he turned to leave.

"One other thing Gremory." She perked up as the boy turned to her slightly. "You're quite powerful. I imagine you'd be quite the heir should you train some more." Rias didn't know what brought on the sudden compliment but she couldn't help but feel a tinge of pride at her being acknowledged.

"T-thanks!" The boy nodded as he left the room.

"Oh my, are you flusterd President?" Akeno immediately teased.

"I am not!" Rias was quick to deny yet Akeno kept chuckling much to the red head's annoyance. So she merely huffed, while she pouted at the raven haired girl.

"But you know...he does make a rather good point. I'd imagine you'd be quite powerful should you stop being lazy and train." Akeno stated bluntly as Rias found her eye twitching slightly at the jab.

Yet there was truth to her word's.

"I suppose you might be right."

A/N:If anyone was was wondering, this is a slight AU High School DXD with a bit added lore. Also the Rating Games were proposed much earlier here. Said lore being the Horsemen from Chainsaw man. Note that all their abilities are buffed to fit the power scaling of the DXD universe. Though I'll probably only utilize War since not much in known of the other two. And regarding the MC, he's a slight SI leaning into the OC side. He's aware of the added lore and he is the latest incarnation of the Control Devil.

The former Control Devil will be referenced. Also note if you're curious about the MC's apperance just imagine Nyuta with no boobs and shorter hair. I'm too lazy to draw him -_-
