Okay guys, Happy Sunday.

So still been busy. Still working a lot. I did finally go see sound of freedom. Its a rough film to get through. But overall it was really good.

Anyways, not much to say in the authors note. So enjoy.

The Happy Huntresses never thought they would be in this situation. They had been coming back from helping some of the community when they saw the police had swarmed their entire camp. Nobody knew what had happened. It wasn't until Fiona rushed them all away did they know something was wrong.

"This is bullshit!" May yelled as she couldn't believe what she was hearing.

News of the assassination attempt on Jem had spread like wildlife. The fact that it was right outside a school and could have been an attack on the children as well made the entire story hard to contain. And sadly the media of Mantle was all too eager to publicize tragedy for the higher ratings. Lion Skelter had a sick obsession with detailing how Jem was nearly blown up.

But not too long after the school had been cleared was when the real problem started.

Fiona showed them wanted posters for every single one of them.

The reason?

Wanted: For Suspicion of Terrorist Activies and attempted Murder

"We would never do this! I would never put children in harms way!" May didn't like Jem, she thought he was an extremist and that Robyn should have won.

And she would never put innocent people in danger!

Fiona was trying to comfort Robin as she was listening in on the news reports.

"Due to a quick investigation by the MPD, recovered shrapnel was found to have the logo of Robyn Hill, MPD is asking for any information regarding her and her happy hunttresses in connection with the bombing." Lisa Lavender said as the trio just didn't believe what they were hearing.

Robyn wasn't happy when Jem won the election. But she preferred it over Jacques! She would never try to kill him! Despite her bruised ego that wasn't reason enough to warrant an assassination! She knew they were being framed. But the problem is the story had already gotten out to the media. And they could tell it however they want. She understood that it looked suspicious right now. But even if she was to turn herself in there was no guarantee for her safety.

Why?

Because Lost Liberty was out for blood. The people of Mantle were pissed. And right now they weren't sure who they could trust. Hence why they were currently in hiding. Why the media would immediately report that and cause a panic, they had no idea.

"Robyn, we have to do something. Maybe we should go to the police?" Fiona said as May spoke up.

"Are you nuts?! They may shoot us right on the spot!" May yelled as Robyn spoke up.

"There's really no good option for us!" Robyn yelled back as she stood up.

"Lost Liberty thinks we tried to kill their founder, the people of Mantle are scared to associate with us now, and they have the media shoving this down their throats 24/7! If we don't go to the police now, then we look even more guilty!" Robyn said as May snarked back.

"We already ran away from them when they were at our camp! We already look guilty!"

Robyn bit her lip as she knew that part was true. One police officer had radioed to dispatch that they were getting close to camp. That was when they saw an entire department's worth of officers. And sadly their panicked response didn't make them look innocent. Robyn put her face into her palm as she couldn't figure out how they were going to get out of this mess they were in.

"And who knows what that fascist will do to us if he wakes up and decides to go for revenge!" May said as Fiona got mad.

"Oh will you shut the hell up! Just because you say he's a fascist doesn't mean he actually is one!" May balked at the fact that the innocent Fiona was the one to say something back.

"You know its because of that kind of talk that we lost in the first place! If it wasn't for all of us just going all in on how we thought Jem was the worst option for Mantle while we KNEW that Jacques Schnee was on the ballot, then maybe things would be different!" Nobody had ever seen Fiona snap like this.

Tensions had been high in the group ever since the election. Everyone had a differeing opinion on what they should do now. May wanted to keep going against Jem, Robyn just wanted to leave the situation alone. While Fionawanted to 'repair' the former friendship she had with them. Sadly none of these options had worked out well. May's plans had been failing because the people of Mantle generally supported Jem. Robyn had to hear about the new policies being inducted all the time. And Fiona. Well, she hadn't talked to Jem since their falling out. So they weren't on speaking terms.

"Well if you want to run into the lions den be my guest!" May yelled as she got her weapon and left.

"Where are you going?!"

"I'm not staying around for this! You do what you want!" May said as she left the hideout.

"Robyn...please...this is our best option." Fiona said as Robyn thought it over.

She supposed it would look better for them if they turned themselves in. But she hadn't done anything wrong! It wasn't fair she could get treated like a terrorist when she didn't do it! The people should trust her! But then she remembered that moment on the debate stage. Where he exposed her as a liar. Even if it was for something simple like that. It still hurt her reputation amongst the people of Mantle. And once your faith in someone has been shaken that much for something so simple, it was hard to get people to trust you again.

Even with her work outside of the election she would still see the looks she got occassionally.

But she also knew Fiona was right. They had to do something. The longer they stayed in hiding, the worse it looked. And the more resources would be allocated to track them down. Even if the accusations against them were based on almost nothing. She couldn't deny that the motivation for the bombing to attack Jem would make sense considering the outright animosity the two had towards each other in the final days of the election.

"I know it is, I just don't know if I'm ready for this." Even though Robyn was certain she could prove her innocence, how would she ever live a normal life after this?

"Let's just go, we can't keep running from this." Fiona said as emotions were running wild in the kingdom right now. Best they not tempt ate.

Little did they know someone was observing from afar and smiling.

"Yes...everything is going according to plan." Tigerstripe said as now all she had to do was wait.

A few hours later

"We have now received word that the suspected terrorists Robyn Hill and Fiona Thyme have turned themselves into the police, however May Marigold and Joanna Greenleaf are nowhere to be found, a reward is being offered for anyone who can give information on their whereabouts." Lisa Lavender said as pictures of Fiona and Robyn turning themselves in was the center of everyone's attention.

"The pair claims they had nothing to do with the bombings, but suspicion is still high around the other two members of the Happy Huntresses. However Robyn claims the entire group is completely innocent." Winter was watching the news and sighed in relief.

Jem was recovering from the surgery, he was however still in a very vulnerable position. Right now he just needed his rest. Nala had already been sent home with Willow. And Whitley came to pick her up.

"How is he doing?" Whitley said as she looked at her little brother.

She never imagined Whitley would be dressed in work boots, blue jeans, a flannel shirt and have a revolver on his hip. But she actually liked how he seemed to embrace the ranch lifestyle. She had even heard rumors that he was currently dating India. The daughter of the farmers who he worked for. But she wasn't sure if that was true or not. Either way, she was happy Whitley seemed to have changed for the better.

"He'll be okay, but he'll need to go through rehab." Winter said as Whitley nodded in understanding.

"Anyways, Mom sent me to pick you up. She knows you want to stay, but its best Nala has at least one parent back with her. She's been worried sick about both of you ever since the attack." Whitley said as she nodded.

"I know, it's just I'm worried about him." She said as Whitley nodded.

"I understand." He said as he didn't know if she was going to come with him.

"I'll go, its just that its a lot to take in." She said as she stood up from her seat.

"Alright, I'll go tell the bullhead to wait up." He said as Winter went over to Jem's bed and kissed him on the forehead.

"I'll be back tomorrow." She knew he couldn't hear her, but it brought her some comfort.

She left the room and walked out with Whitley to the car.

BUMP

"Ow!" She said as she turned to see a woman holding a bloody rag to her head.

"Sorry!" The lady said as she was in a hurry to see a doctor.

Winter didn't say anything. She was holding a bloody rag to her head, she obviously must have been injured. She wasn't going to get mad at someone with a head injury. She just continued to walk out of the hospital with Whitley. However if she had looked closely, she would have noticed that the bloody rag was mostly dried up. And that the lady had a sick smile on her face the whole time.

"Man, those cops were stupid." Tigerstripe said as she couldn't believe how easy it was to get past the cops guarding the place.

She did cut her own forehead a bit just to make it believable. Once the cops saw she had a legitimate wound, they let her into the hospital. However it wasn't anything serious. It was enough to bleed a lot. But not enough to make it serious. All she needed to do was keep putting pressure on it, and eventually it was good to go. The biggest pain of the ass was she kept having to take the rag, wipe up the blood, and then reopen the wound again to get some more blood on the rag to make it look like it was serious injury vs a minor one.

Security was surprisingly lax in the hospital. She figured once the news spread that Robyn had been arrested that they wouldn't feel the need to have so much security. And her assumption was correct. The hospital was a maze but she knew her way around. She had been scoping this place out for weeks before the attack. She knew where the standard rooms were, and where the emergency wards were. Based on Jem's injuries, she knew they would have to take him to one of the emergency wards. And she knew it wouldn't be hard to find him.

She wandered through the hospital until eventually she came across the emergency ward. And immediately she could tell which Room Jem was staying in, since it had the blackout curtains in the window. Why would they feel the need to hide a patient?

She smiled as she checked the door. This was too easy. The door was even unlocked? She supposed they left it like that in case the emergency monitors went off. But this was too good to be true.

She walked into the room and sure enough. Jem was right there sleeping peacefully.

"I won't be letting you get away this time." She said as she walked over and observed his injuries.

Obviously most of the damage was done to his back, but he did have some damage up front as well. Mostly facial injuries. But he didn't have a breathing or feeding tube. So that made this easier.

"While I wish the bomb had finished you off, I don't mind getting my hands dirty." She said as she put on some gloves.

"Usually I probably wouldn't be able to do this, but you being this weak really helps me out here. So thank you for that." She said as she got close to the bed.

"You know, this is all your fault. It didn't have to end this way. If you hadn't of run away that night. We could have had something different." She said as she almost felt ashamed.

Jem had ruined her life by being here. So now she was going to take his away.

Outside of the hospital, Winter checked her pockets.

"Dang it, I forgot my scroll." She said as Whitley sighed.

"Where is it?" He asked.

"Back in Jem's room, I'll be right back."

Meanwhile, Tigerstripe had a pillow at the ready.

"I just want to let you know, I am going to enjoy every second of this." She said as she forced the pillow onto Jem's face.

At first there wasn't any struggling. But as Jem couldn't breath, he woke up. You could see arms flailing about as he struggled to try and fight her off. But everytime he tried to move he felt the effects of the painkillers sapping his strength. He couldn't do anything. He was too worn out from the pain and the morphine.

"Yes, there we go!" She said as she noticed that his struggling started to cease.

She took a look at the heart rate monitor and saw his heartbeat had spiked, but now it was starting to go down.

"Don't you worry, it will all be over soon." She said as she pressed harder on the pillow.

She could see he was desperately fighting to survive. But he was just too drugged up to do anything.

And then the heart rate monitor flatlined.
