→ Arwintar Nazarick-mansion / Arachama ←
Sun shone through the window and annoyed Arachama, as it fought its way through her eyelids and woke her up. She turned and grumbled, only to fall from her couch and plant her face in the ground.
"I get it. I am awake." Arachama hissed in her mind and stood up.
Zesshi, who was still snoring, was laying across her abdomen. This presented a small problem for Arachama, as she couldn't simply move towards her office. But then Zesshi opened her eyes and hugged Arachama, who reciprocated. This change of situation enabled both of them to change their clothing.
Afterwards Zesshi came back and looked a bit down. She had seen Arachama prepare for a nice and long session of paperwork. This had taken away any hope of a n exciting morning from Zesshi.
"Can I go and play with Kuude and Ure, mom?" Zesshi asked, using her puppy eyes.
"Since I am working right now the answer is no. You brought this unto yourself, young lady. Now we both will have our fun here. But there is a book on economy on the shelf over there. It could be useful." Arachama smiled and Zesshi groaned.
"Yes mom." Zesshi replied and grabbed the book.
The early morning came and went extremely fast. Suddenly, at least for Arachama, Enti opened the door and climbed into Arachamas lap.
"Mom, breakfast is ready." Enti beamed and kissed Arachama on her cheek.
"Then we should go. Zesshi, would you come with us?" Arachama asked and scooped Enti in her arms. Enti turned her mask towards Zesshi.
"Mom, how come she didn't play with the twins today? It is normally something she would do instead of reading a book on economics." Enti asked.
"She is grounded and needs to stay within my vision, or within my room." Arachama told Enti.
"Should I move her things towards your room?" Enti asked.
"Just the clothing for the next day. I think a nice baby-blue summer dress would do her well. Maybe white socks as well?" Arachama thought loud. Enti giggled while Zesshi looked desperate.
"Please no, mom." Zesshi pleaded.
"Don't panic. You will look fantastic. Besides, this evening you will be at Nazarick. While you reap the rewards you also reap your punishment. All will work out in the end." Arachama snickered.
Breakfast was close to a celebration. Enti had brought out all the good stuff she could find anywhere. Including her pudding, the great dry aged ham and much more. Arachama was the talk at the table. She asked questions about everything, to the dismay of Zesshi. This only managed to place Zesshi under even closer watch of her. But Arachama was soon up to date and smiling at everyone.
Sadly one being was missing and Arachama got curious.
"Where is Ninya? I don't remember seeing her yesterday, though that might have been exhaustion." Arachama inquired.
"She seems to be ill, lady Arachama." Yuri told her.
"Then I will be looking for her after breakfast. Afterwards we can finish paperwork for today. I am sure Zesshi is anxious to throw herself back into her studies." Arachama grinned and Zesshi groaned.
"As you wish, Lady Arachama." Yuri replied and smiled.
The rest of the breakfast was enjoyed to its fullest. Soon enough though, Arachama leaned back and enjoyed the chatter of her daughters, memories of Kimihiko in mind.
"Arche truly looks similar. Only the hair color is different." Arachama smiled, remembering the only feature her dead daughter truly had from her.
After breakfast Arachama went to Ninyas room and walked in. Zesshi remained in a corner and seemed bored. Soon she took the blanket and freed Ninya a bit. Ninya had two human legs and four spider legs, which hugged her upper body. The abdomen had retreated and was now much smaller, more like a stump on the back. The upper body, with the exception of her six spider legs, was now closer to human.
"I hope you are doing well?" Arachama asked, feeling for temperature.
"I-it is g-going to g-get better." Ninya whispered.
"You have a typical fever. But soon you will be much happier. You got some of the human body parts you craved. You are an arachnoid, instead of an arachne." Arachama smiled, trying to cheer Ninya up.
"I only need to survive this fever." Ninya coughed.
"You will survive this fever. That is something I am sure of. Just lean back and fall asleep. I am sure you will get much better soon." Arachama cupped Ninya back into her blanket and placed a kiss on her forehead.
"T-thanks, m-mother." Ninya mumbled before she drifted into her dreams.
"Sweet dreams, my little child." Arachama smiled and retreated with Zesshi.
Arachama then told Entoma, Tuare and Yuri about the developments and all seemed ecstatic but concerned. The health of Ninya was hit hard by the changes.
"I want her on constant watch until she is getting healthier again. With her changes her immune system needs to adjust. If necessary, ask Pestonya for help. I am sure she is equipped to solve any problems that could arise." Arachama explained and the three nodded.
Afterwards the rest of the paperwork was done, to the chagrin of Zesshi.
→ Arwintar Imperial-palace / Jircniv ←
The night had not been as refreshing as Jircniv had hoped. Nightmares of the terrible insects had plagued his mind and a new respect for Arachama and the new allies of Nazarick had developed. He also knew that he would rather not fight against them, or better, face the same fate.
But otherwise he had also analyzed his own thoughts and behavior. First of all was his evaluation of Arachama. He wanted her, that far he had already known. But he was shocked at his own reaction at the negotiations. The wrath he felt was irrational and how he cheered her up and tried to help her was also untypical of him. But he did those actions. He had also decided, in regards to this, to take a much more direct approach. He loved her and he would make it more clear to her. He wanted her and she would be the empress beside him. Now he only needed to make it clear and hope.
Then there was the situation within the Slane Theocracy. His spies there had informed him of worrying developments in regards to different factions. There was the former army, which was holding their line. It was strong but couldn't move freely, or else the elves would attack. They were in the west and wouldn't advance anywhere, thus they were no threat and could potentially be traded or negotiated with.
Then there were the coastal cities and islands. They had close ties to his empire, thanks to his new acquisition. They only seeked to trade. Though his spies were getting rumors that they are now thinking about joining his empire, like their southern neighbor had done, if only for protection. If that would happen he would gain a massive boon for his empire.
The newest was the free city Colognium. It had formed from the former rebels and Jircniiv could tolerate them, for now. They had no goal besides settling down and trading. No danger came from them. Only a little conflicting interest. In case of emergency Jircniv could take the settlement easily. It had also a small number in comparison to before the capture of the settlement. Roughly half the rebels had decided to move eastwards, into his empire, which was an appreciated bonus, in form of future taxpayers, for Jircniv.
But none of those factions was as worrying as the one around Sanguis Qaesier Furapis. He had effectively taken command in the southern area west of the coastal cities and east of the former army. He had won some victories against some rivals, by simply beating their skulls until they gave up or died. The thing that made Jircniv shiver was the thought that he was declaring himself as an unawakened godkin. It was unclear if it was true or not. He could be and this forced his neighbors to be careful and Jircniv to have a watchful eye to the south.
Suddenly Jircniv shook his head and he decided to go out on his balcony. Once there he observed the sunrise and couldn't help him and think about his Arachama. He had decided to make her his and determination shot through his heart.
"First I need to raise her standing. If I would take a commoner, the nobles would get funny ideas. Maybe I can give her the title baroness? She managed to help us in regards to Nazarick. This might also increase our standing with them, as she is the descendant from one of their leaders. Yeah. That sounds right. Then I could have her attend private meetings and parties more often. I can work from there." Jircniv sighed and then recalled an image of her smiling. That was a picture to brighten his day.
→ Arwintar Nazarick-mansion / Arachama ←
The afternoon, at least for Arachama and Zesshi, was much more relaxed. She was sitting within the living room of her children and played monopoly with them. Kuude and Ure were getting terrifically good at this. It terrified Arachama, who was holding back less and less. Zesshi meanwhile, similar to Arche stood no chance at all. Arachne on the other hand had observed the game and smiled when Zesshi was bored and could do nothing but observe the game.
"Why can't I go and train, mom? It isn't dangerous." Zesshi pleaded.
"But you would be outside of my view or my room." Arachama replied, throwing her dice. Afterwards her piece was moved to the number of fields.
"But I can't get hurt there and I need my training." Zesshi begged.
"It is still out of my view, besides, you brought this upon yourself." Arachama replied in a monotone voice, concentrating on the field.
"The twins are learning too fast and they are ruthless." crossed her mind.
"But mo~om." Zesshi tried a final time, using her puppy-eyes.
"It will not work on me. I am building an immunity towards this technique." Arachama giggled and Zesshi pouted. But not for long as Arachama scooped her up.
"Cuddling and playing truly are a magnificent combination." she thought and enjoyed it while it lasted.
This went on for a while and the twins gave her a tough endgame until Enti came into the room, placing herself just at Arachamas lap.
"How can I help you, little one?" Arachama asked and included Enti as her new plush.
"I am here to tell you that the celebrations in Nazarick will start soon. You asked me to remember you early enough to clothe Zesshi and yourself." Enti reminded Arachama, who blushed a bit in embarrassment. A short glance outside the window showed a sun setting.
"Can you manage the rest of them for now?" she inquired and could have sworn she felt an evil glint coming from Enti.
"I don't think there will be a problem, right sisters?" Enti asked. The twins nodded vigorously while Arche snickered.
"Why can't we go along, mom?" Arche asked.
"I don't know how most of them will react to alcohol. I play this rather safe than sorry. Besides, Zesshi was invited by Monga, thus she needs to appear and I am practically dragged there." Arachama sighed.
"Ok. But I wish we could have gone there together." Arche said.
"Don't fret my little munchkin. I think you will enjoy tomorrow." Arachama said and Arche smiled.
Arachama then helped them to pack the board game and Arachne, with the help of Tuare, packed it away. Meanwhile Arachama tucked her children into their beds and kissed them good night.
Afterwards Arachama and Zesshi walked towards her room, where Enti had placed their clothing for the night.
Arachama wore a long victorian dress. It had a black and toxic green coloring and covered her to the back of her abdomen. Even the tips of her legs were covered under the gown. Eight 'socks' in toxic green and blood-red patterns, which stretched to close her abdomen, were on her legs. Her bust was held by the gown and left little cleavage. It was still showing enough. She would wear a small bun on her head, which was held in black.
Zesshi wore something similar, though it was toned down and had a red, white and black coloring. Arachama had also made sure that Zesshi would not carry a weapon underneath her gown. Zesshi meanwhile had fought the choice, at least in the beginning. In the end Zesshi had given up and was pouting in embarrassment and resignation.
Just as they finished, Arachama looked over Zesshi and smiled.
"You look gorgeous. If it weren't the denizens of Nazarick I would bet they would glance after you. I am quite envious." Arachama grinned and Zesshis blush grew.
"But mom. We are going to a celebration of two victories." Zesshi reminded Arachama.
"And? I want us both to look perfect and have a nice evening." Arachama replied and Zesshi sighed.
Arachama took this as a sign that Zesshi had finished and both would use a "Gate" to get to floor 9.
→ Arwintar Imperial-palace / Jircniv ←
Jircniv had worked all afternoon to get the paperwork done. He first needed to look for a replacement within his four imperial knights. While there were no candidates for now, but he had prepared as much as possible.
Then he had prepared a list of small demands, which Re-Estize would probably accept, at least if faced with the chance of annihilation.
At last he had done the necessary paperwork to give Arachama the title she needed. Together with the lands of course. He decided to give her the title of baroness and the lands of the former family Styx. As he had come to that idea he had snickered in his mind as in his opinion this was quite poetic.
The documents were ready and the only thing missing was a ceremony. Luckily this could be arranged easily. He looked out the window, in the direction of her mansion, and mused.
"Soon enough I will have the most beautiful, clever and powerful wife in the world. I am a lucky man." Jircniv thought.
Nimble meanwhile smirked at him.
"What is it?" Jircniv asked.
"Well, I am sure to know who you think about." Nimble tried to tease him.
"Then I hope your answer is correct." Jircniv smiled.
Nimble seemed to be taken aback, but he collected himself and his smirked formed into a fond smile.
"Then I hope it is Lady Arachama." Nimble said.
"That is correct. Lucky you. Though it might be obvious." Jircniv replied.
"I just have a question, my emperor. Why the change in attitude." Nimble inquired.
"Yesterday taught me many things. Amongst those that it would be useless to hide any feelings I have for her and that I should relish her. She is beautiful, powerful and smart. What more could I wish for in my future empress? I just hope to have the courage to tell her when the time comes." Jircniv asked.
"Nothing, it seems. When should I plan the wedding?" Nimble winked.
"As soon as possible, I hope. Though first I need to prepare. Please bring this scroll to the mansion she lives in." Jircniv ordered and pressed his seal inside the wax.
"Of course, my emperor. Should I also deliver something else?" Nimble inquired.
"I would like to invite her and Leinas to a tea party to cover the time between the small ceremony and ball in the evening." Jircniv told him.
"So soon?" Nimble asked.
"Nah. It will only be to have some fun. Nothing like what you think." Jircniv waved Nimble off.
Nimble scurried out of the room and Jircniv placed his fist on his heart. It had pumped without mercy at the thought of her and would not lessen its marathon for the next while.
"But she is worth the effort." Jircniv thought, looking in the direction of her mansion with longing.
→ Roble Holy Kingdom close to Hoburns ←
A dark figure was sitting in the dark corner of a cave. A medallion was pressed against his hand and both eyes were closed. Small booklets were behind him, all carrying timetables and such.
Soon the eyes shot open and a smile was on the man's face.
"This is a chance to break in." He smiled and wrote down another timetable. A blueprint, provided by his master, was strewn across a table and he wrote down. Soon enough the tables would turn on the enemies of Zuranorn. Of that, Alator was sure.
→ Nazarick 9th floor / Demiurge ←
The preparations were going smoothly. They had prepared something called a 'party room'. There were drinks for the supreme beings and the normal denizens of Nazarick. Albedo was now doing the last preparations by asking Cocytus for help. He only needed to distract Zesshi Zetsumei. Demiurge himself pulled out two potions and emptied them into the drinks of the supreme beings.
While he knew that this could be interpreted as treason, it was for the greater good of the tomb and thus needed to be done. He had also read that these similar situations, as the one the supreme beings would find themselves in, increased their feelings for each other. Why shouldn't he help them in that regard?
Albedo came into the room and looked around.
"It looks good, but are you sure your plan will work?" Albedo asked.
"Of course. Did Cocytus agree?" Demiurge replied.
"He will try to talk with her and might be able to pull Sebas into the conversation." Albedo answered.
"That is great." Demiurge smiled.
"But why invite her, if she needs to be distracted? I mean I like it, surprisingly, but it seems like an unnecessary detour." Albedo inquired.
"To make Lady Arachama feel safe. Beings that feel safe let their guard down. It will also keep her attention elsewhere." Demiurge explained and Albedo's eyes were shimmering in understanding.
"And I guess the same logic is for the two of us? A nice evening with ladies and a drinking contest with the males?" Albedo guessed.
"Close enough. Though I think Shalltear or Nabe would be better at that part." Demiurge snickered.
"I think Nabe would be better for this. Shalltear would only jump Ainz right then and there. That would be counterproductive." Albedo sighed.
"Indeed. Any progress in the war?" Demiurge asked, having no new information beside the victory.
"Our forces are outside E-Rantels. Tomorrow there will be a procession. Lady Arachama herself can't be there, as she has a 'day off' as she calls it." Albedo told him.
"So Pandora's Actor will take over that part?" Demiurge inquired.
"Yes. He will play her while Momon will be played by Protagonist." Albedo told him.
"And Afterwards lady Arachama will 'negotiate' with the kingdom." Demiurge smiled.
"Yes. Then we continue to work along the steps of the 10000-year plan, which my future husband had laid out for us." Albedo smiled.
"When is the wedding?" Demiurge wanted to know.
"Soon enough. We agreed to wait until we have a solid foothold." Albedo's smile grew wider.
"Everything is going smoothly then. I like it." Demiurge said.
"Yes. Almost too smoothly." Albedo agreed.
"Everything will work out for the tomb as a whole and who cares if the nations will bleed out for the glory and well being of the great tomb?" Demiurge thought and his smirk got even darker.
→ Wyvern-Tribes-Territory (unknown location within) ←
The leaders of many tribes were seated within a stone circle. Most of them wore pelts, helmets and chainmail. Lances and axes were placed aside. Their individual wyvern were relaxing outside the circle and mead was given out.
They talked about some border disputes, until one of them remembered something.
"Did you hear what happened to Slane?" one asked, a big burp came afterwards.
"You know news travels slower around here." Another told him.
"Yep. Besides, Slane is in some big shitshow. I heard their capital has fallen. Just imagine. I propose…" Further he didnt come as he fell backwards from his stonebench and vomited.
"Is the Slane rich?" another chieftain, whose tribe was closer to the minotaurs, inquired.
"Yes. Even more than south or north of us." Another agreed and murmurs got around the circle.
Then a portal opened and another figure came within the circle. He wore rusting armor with a medallion around his neck. But most notable was the minotaur pelt around his neck and hanging on his back. Most chieftains shuddered at his appearance.
"W-who are you*burps*" Ask one of them, trying to grab his ax and falling face first in the dirt.
"I am here to collect a favor." The figure told them. Stuttering was heard amongst the chieftains.
"We owe ye nothing." One of the chieftains shouted.
"Then tell me what this thing means?" The figure asked and threw the medallion in front of them. One of the braver chieftains came closer and looked at it.
The medallion had the depiction of a wyvern with four wings. It was traditionally used to indicate a favor. It was old, but for the wyvern tribes something like this was used to indicate that the person was owed a heavy debt. The more wings the wyvern the deeper the debt. One wing was the smallest debt and four the deepest debt. This meant that the guy wanted a major favor done.
The inscription was also traditional. It meant that all tribes owed him. The chieftain hurried back, wide eyes.
"I think we do." he said and grumbled, seemingly getting sober within a second.
"For what would we owe you. I am sure we can deal with this easily?" A female chieftain asked, winking at the newcomer.
"The whole of the wyvern tribes owes me for this." The figure said and pointed towards his pelt. A more sober chieftain looked closer.
"Was that…?" he said, shocked.
"Indeed. This is the pelt of the Minotaur Vermin, or Minotaur Sage as he is known amongst his disgusting kin." the figure told them. Shock ran amongst the chieftains. The female chieftain now had an even crazier look on her while the males understood the weight of their debts.
The Minotaur Vermin had united the Minotaurs and led a successful attack against the then united Draconic Kingdom. The minotaurs attacked the northern flank, where the tribes lived today. Since it was easier for the queen, who ruled back then, to give the territory up, the people here were defenseless. Luckily they learned to tame, breed and fight with wyverns. Such the wyvern tribes were born.
They had fought for their independence against all three forces around them. The Baharut Empire to the north, The Draconic kingdom in the south and the Minotaurs were in the east. But it was told through the generations, that the minotaurs only stopped after a single warrior had killed the Minotaur Sage in single combat. It was a myth to them and now this figure stood before them and demanded a favor.
And they had to follow, as it would shame them and their ancestors to do otherwise.
The chieftains sighed, as they realized that they didn't have a choice.
"What would you need from us, Minotaur Slayer?" one asked.
"I need a diversion. Within Slane and the Mare Homonum you can plunder. Baharut will react and so will their ally. I need their eyes on your diversion, since I will look for something. Within the former Slane capital." the Minotaur Slayer told them.
"That is something we can do." They chieftains agreed. Though a certain chieftain sighed, wishing for another result.
→ Arwintar Nazarick-mansion / Arachne ←
Arachne had been working on papers when Leinas came in.
"What can I do for you, Leinas?" Arachne asked.
"Please come out. It is important." Leinas said and Tuare pushed her wheelchair.
Once outside Arachne saw another imperial knight, Nimble, sitting in the living room.
"How may I help the emperor?" Arachne inquired.
"Here is a scroll with the details. But to summarize. He wants to make you a baroness, thus you would be ruling over the Arjahar. It is west of Arwintar. It once belonged to the Styx family, but since they are dead…" Nimble began.
"Is he sure? I don't know if I would be good for this." Arachne asked shyly.
"It is for your contribution to the war effort. Thus it is more of a reward, not more work. I am just here to deliver the news, tell you one more thing and also await your answer." Nimble said.
"I would accept the nomination. I just hope I don't disappoint." Arachne sighed. Leinas just shook her head.
"Then I will bring the reply to our emperor. I am also here to bring invitations to a tea party tomorrow between the ceremony and the ball in the evening." Nimble told them. Leinas was shocked while Arachne looked curiously at Leinas.
"He is getting that directly?" Leinas inquired.
"Yes. Katze Plains seemed to have worked wonders in that regard." Nimble laughed and Leinas just shook her head again.
"We will accept." Arachne told Nimble.
"Then I shall deliver the message." Nimble said and left the mansion.
Arachne waited for a while. She knew old-mother wanted her to roll down this path. But Arachne had to fight a faint blush. She didn't know why. But she liked the emperor and now he was inviting her to a tea party. She could squeal. If she knew that her feelings were written in her background.
→ Nazarick Throne room / Arachama ←
After exiting the "Gate"-portal Arachama looked over Zesshi and herself again. All was still as it should be and Arachama sighed. Then both leisurely walked towards the 9th floor.
"And since we both are invited and I trust Nazarick, I allow you to move freely. But stay on this floor, ok?" Arachama asked. Zesshi beamed at that.
"Yes, mom." Zesshi smiled and nodded vigorously.
"Good. Just be careful. I don't want any stress during or afterwards. If I get any because of you the grounding will be much longer." Arachama smiled innocently while Zesshi shuddered.
"I will be a good little Zesshi." Zesshi said and Arachama giggled, giving her a hug.
"I hope you understand that this is not malicious." Arachama sighed and felt Zesshi nod in her chest.
"Good. We will be there shortly. I hope you will enjoy it." Arachama smiled as they were closing in.
"I also hope I will enjoy this." Arachama didn't say, but clearly wished for it.
At least Arachama was sure they were closing in as they heard music and the light changed the door frame in the distance every few seconds.
Once they got closer Arachama could peek inside the room and saw many of the floor guardians and area guardians inside. Some of the pleiades were also there. Some of the homunculi maids manned the buffet and drinks.
Soon Arachama and Zesshi entered and were blasted with 'Cantina Band', which was running in a loop. Arachama sighed and was reminded that everyone within this tomb, with notable exceptions, were created to be villains. Zesshi saw Sebas and Cocytus and started to walk towards them. Arachama herself was soon besieged by Albedo, who let her into a more quiet corner. Once there Albedo smiled.
"Sorry, but I thought you would like a more quiet place than the dance floor." Albedo smiled.
"Yes. Thank you. Where is Monga? I haven't seen him yet." Arachama asked.
"He will be coming shortly. He is… occupied with Nabe right now." Albedo told Arachama, who decided to forget the mental image for now.
One of the homunculi maids came over, looking scared.
"What can I bring you two, Lady Albedo and Lady Arachama?" She asked, obviously terrified of Arachama.
"I just started with a nice wine." Arachama told her.
"I will take one as well." Albedo continued.
"Understood. Two wines will be here soon." The maid said and hurried to the counter.
"Anything new from the war? Last I heard about Katze Plains." Arachama asked.
"Tomorrow we will take E-Rantel. Sadly the citizens fear the insects and thus it is expected that they will be more irrational and thus less controllable." Albedo sighed, probably knowing how much paperwork was coming.
"Why not sell fly screens for windows and doors?" Arachama asked and saw the maid return with two bottles of wine.
"That is a great idea. We can get money from this. That is great." Albedo smiled and Arachama was sure that she saw the amount of paperwork shrink a little
"Here is the wine. Lady Arachama and Lady Albedo." The maid placed their glasses and bottles before them.
"Thank you. Increment." Arachama told her, and the maid got a bit more relaxed. Albedo herself nodded at the maid. Soon she was gone.
"Did my request come through? The one I wrote before I went to sleep?" Arachama inquired.
"Yes. Tomorrow is free. Though Ainz wanted to talk to you on that day as well." Albedo said.
"Ok. That should be possible." Arachama sighed and began to sipp from her wine. It tasted much better than the stuff on earth. Less dusty and dirty and much more fruitful and filling. It was definitely a step up from the usual stuff.
"But what did I expect? Everything tasted better since the transfer." Arachama mused in her head.
Albedo and Arachama observed the guardians dancing and joking and Arachama told some stories of other players.
Arachama also observed Zesshi, who seemed to realize that, shuddered and then straightened her back.
"Yes, Zesshi is behaving properly." Arachama thought and continued to talk with Albedo about mundane things. Soon the topic changed from the guardians and players to daily life.
"So tell me. How is the little love triangle working out?" Arachama asked, quite intrigued.
"It is going well. I have my time and much more peace of mind." Albedo smiled.
"That is great. Is everyone thinking like that though? I mean you all with Monga. I imagine the jealousy." Arachama inquired.
"Not really. Once everything was sorted it fell together as it is. It did help that it was clear that Ainz should have more than one." Albedo said and waved a maid to come over, as the wine was already emptied.
"That is one way to think about this." Arachama thought and decided that she had enough of this topic.
"How is daily life going with all the children?" Albedo wanted to know.
"It is going great. It fulfills me." Arachama told her.
"Can I ask questions, just in case I might get a more, eh permanent, present from Ainz? I just don't want to make any mistakes." Albedo asked and rubbed her lower stomach.
"Of course. From one mother to a future mother." Arachama smiled and hoped for the best for Albedo. Soon one of the maids came over.
"What can I serve you, Lady Arachama and Lady Albedo?" the maid asked.
"I think Demiurge is giving a toast shortly. I would like to have the drinks." Albedo said and winked at the maid, who immediately nodded.
"Then I shall have it as well?" Arachama asked.
"Indeed. I heard he had prepared it for this occasion." Albedo smiled.
"But what is with this winking?" Arachama asked and Albedo sighed.
"Demiurge made sure that you and Ainz got the best of the crop. Nothing less would be appropriate. He just didn't want to tell it, as we know that you, Lady Arachama, don't like to be pampered in that regard." Albedo explained.
"Ok." Arachama replied, confusion spreading in her mind.
"Something is off. But I can't put my finger on it. Might be the turning world right now. Or it could be that they think I don't like to be pampered. I like to be cared for." Arachama thought and decided to just go with the flow.
Soon the maid came back and placed sparkling wine before Albedo and herself.
"Thank you, Decrement." Arachama told the maid, who danced back towards the counter in ecstasy.
Just then a loud clang was heard as Demiurge had used a wineglass to get everyone's attention.
"Good evening. We are here to celebrate victory. Nazarick, in the form of Zesshi Zetsumei, crushed the foe. They will be forced to negotiate. E-Rantel will be under our control. Now we shall toast to Zesshi Zetsumei and the supreme beings. Lets step forward on the grand plan of Lord Ainz Ooal gown. Toast!" Demiurge spoke and cheers filled the room, as all drank their shots.
Arachama felt strange, like she wasn't controlling her own body. Then in front of her, instead of Albedo, Monga, in incubus form, sat. He was looking at her with bright eyes while Arachama felt her temperature increase. She also fought down many blushes.
"Where do these thoughts come from? He is like a son to me." Arachama thought as lewd things shot through her head. Arachama waved for a maid, this time Increment came.
"Can you bring Zesshi here please?" Arachama asked and Increment disappeared.
Soon Zesshi came.
"Here."Gate" go and sleep. I will be there shortly." Arachama slurred, her head spinning and spinning without any end in sight.
"Yes mom." Zesshi said and went through the portal, which led to her spider paradise.
Arachama then turned again to Monga, who seemed to be flushing. Arachama herself was sure she saw strings of hearts around Monga and soon enough both fell forward.
Demiurge and Albedo brought them away and both were placed in bed.
That is where Arachama felt way too hot. She got out of her gown and then felt ice cold. Monga seemed to be in a similar situation and thus both cuddled underneath the blanket. Then another feeling shot through her. She felt energetic and wanted only one thing. And there was only one thing in the room to fulfill this.
Hunger also came to her. Luckily it could be fulfilled is where the blackout came in.
AN: Another chapter done. We are calming down, as the last chapters were certainly a caliber of their own.
I leave it at that for two reasons. One would be storytelling, the other would be that I most certainly don't want to write a lemon between an incubus and a spider-woman. Thank you very much.
To the question what Arachne is. She is a human, though thanks to her background she has certain traits. Biologically she has weaker bones in her legs and a light layer of chitin on top of it. She also has certain feelings inscribed in her, though it can be considered more of an accident than Albedo's case.
All in all, she is a human, who is disabled thanks to her, in theory only, ancestry. If interest is expressed I could post some character sheets separately in this fic.
I also heard that there were too many 'ara' and thus I don't use them in the chapter. I hope this increases the enjoyment of reading the chapters. From now on.
I hope you enjoyed it and if you did, please leave a review. See you next time and thanks for reading.
