As Miracle slept that night, she had another vision. But this time there was no Autobot or Decepticon in it. She saw a man walking aimlessly through the streets. He was talking to different people but Miracle couldn't understand what he was saying. The man showed a photo to everyone he spoke to. But Miracle couldn't see that either. When she woke up the next morning, she shook her head in irritation. At that moment Optimus came out of the bathroom.
"Are you all right?"
"Yes. Oh, you're still there?" Miracle asked.
It had been a long time since Miracle saw her partner when she woke up.
"Yes. After the events of the past few days, we all deserve some vacation time," Optimus said.
Now Miracle got up and went into the bathroom. Optimus meanwhile sat down on the sofa. He didn't want to go near the bathroom with Miracle in it. At least he didn't want to get another shampoo bottle or something like that in his head.
So he waited patiently until Miracle came out of the bathroom dressed in blue bell-bottoms and a red t-shirt. Optimus looked at Miracle in irritation. Blue flames were printed on her red t-shirt.
"What are you doing?" Optimus asked as he reached out his hand to pick her up.
"Partner look!" said Miracle and winked at Optimus.
Optimus couldn't help but smile, a human in the Optimus Prime look was a bit funny. Optimus set his partner down on his shoulder and stepped out of their quarters.
He walked down the hallway more slowly than usual so Miracle couldn't fall off. Though that couldn't really happen, since Miracle was clutching a sort of blue metal rod with both hands protruding from Optimus' shoulder.
"Have you had another vision?" Optimus asked, reading her thoughts through her touch.
"Yes, although this one was different than the others lately," said Miracle.
"In what way?"
Miracle described the dream to her partner as best she could. Though that wasn't strictly necessary since Optimus had already seen the images from Miracle's mind in his mind. The two seemed to only be able to exchange thoughts through direct physical contact. That was a lot different than a Sparkmade connection.
Optimus quickly seemed to realize who the man Miracle had seen in her vision might be. But he didn't want to tell Miracle his suspicions until later. Now he first entered the canteen and went to the food counter with Miracle still on his shoulder. Here the Prime grabbed a XXXXXXL tray and turned his head to Miracle, who let her eyes wander over the dresser. Before she could even say what she wanted for breakfast, Optimus had a sandwich and a cappuccino placed on the tray. Optimus went to the Energon counter to get a cup of Energon and put it on the tray as well. Then he carefully walked over to a table and sat down at the Autobot-sized table. He lifted the tray to Miracle, who immediately grabbed the bun and took a hearty bite.
"I think I can guess who the man from your dream is," Optimus said then.
"...smack... and who?...smack?" Miracle said as she ate.
"Maybe a relative of yours. Maybe even your father."
Optimus had no idea what he had triggered with this sentence. Because Miracle was so frightened that she almost choked. She started coughing too hard and gasped for air.
But before Miracle could choke, Optimus handed her the tray again, from which she took the cappuccino and took a sip.
"Slowly, slowly, nobody should suffocate here!" Lennox shouted from the human-sized table opposite.
Miracle took a deep breath and then gave NEST's chairman humans a reproachful look. He had no idea what it was about!
Miracle now turned back to Optimus, who was busy cleaning up the bits of food that had landed on his shell when Miracle was coughing.
"Sorry," she said.
"It's okay," Optimus said.
"Do you think that's possible?" she whispered to her partner.
"Naturally. Why not? You told me that you don't just have visions of us Autobots." Optimus whispered to his partner after a quick glance to the left and right. Even after the worst was over, the Prime thought it best to continue keeping Miracle's visions a secret. He knew full well that there would be a danger that someone might take advantage of Miracle's ability. And he definitely wanted to prevent that. So it was best if they kept that as their secret.
"Yeah, but..." she whispered back.
"Who whispers, lies!" Wheelie suddenly shouted, who just sped past them.
He jumped on the table and asked: "Well, what's your big secret?"
He wanted to look as innocent as possible while doing it. But Optimus didn't look very pleased at the little Ex Decepticon. He had his right eyebrow raised and his left optic flashed nervously on and off.
"You don't care about that," Optimus said sourly, because that annoying wheelie got on his nerves quite a bit sometimes. He was just too curious in some ways. But Wheelie ignored that and continued to babble on: "Oh, tell me now. Please, please, beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" Miracle clearly saw how angry Optimus was getting. She saw in his mind how Optimus wanted to rip the annoying little Ex Decepticon apart. Miracle startled at the picture. She knew what the Prime was capable of when pushed too far.
Of course, this did not go unnoticed by Optimus either. So he took a deep breath and then said to Wheelie with an almost irresistible smile: "Wheelie... Just shut up, okay?"
Then he reached out with his seven-foot hand and smacked Wheelie so hard that the little Ex Decepticon flew across the room and finally slammed against a wall. Wheelie slowly slid down the metal wall and finally lay dazed against the wall.
"Was that necessary?" Miracle asked.
"Yes that was it. And it feels good. Peace at last..." Optimus said almost enthusiastically.
Miracle giggled, "The scene had something from the fairy tale of the frog prince."
"I can only be glad that Wheelie hasn't become a prince I have to marry."
Optimus finally stood up, laughing. Miracle couldn't help but giggle when the Prime walked her out of the canteen. Well, even a prime doesn't have unlimited patience...
