"This is the Tinkerer?" Daredevil asked, looking down at the young girl as she sat in her office chair. "Of course, it's a kid, why would I be expecting anything else."

"If you have a problem, you can look for gear upgrades elsewhere." Hatsume scoffed.

"Just try not to say anything to make her upset, otherwise we'll be here forever," Izuku advised him.

"Alright, tell me what your quirk is." Hatsume sighed. "Every detail. I need to know what I'm working with."

"...My quirk is called Sonar," Daredevil explained, albeit a bit hesitant. "It took away my vision, but in exchange, it sharpened my other senses to extreme heights. I can smell that you had eggs for breakfast, 2 days ago. I can hear your heartbeat and tell when you're lying. All my senses are so heightened that it creates a different kind of vision. Like I can see the world, but in far more detail, and with a lot more range than most."

Wait so he's been blind this whole time? Izuku thought. Wait, is he still considered blind if he can kind of see with his quirk?

"I'm guessing your weakness then is sensory overload then?" Hatsume asked, already taking out a piece of paper and drawing some designs.

"That's right," Daredevil confirmed. "It's mostly a problem with smells and sounds."

""Alright, got it," Hatsume said, focusing on her paper. "I hear you're the acrobatic type, so I'll need to keep the armor light. Your quirk doesn't have any offensive properties, so I'll need to make a weapon or something. Do you have a preference?"

"I use batons," Daredevil stated firmly, taking out a pair of red batons.

Hatsume raised an eyebrow. "You're fighting villains…with a pair of sticks."

"It's more than a pair of sticks." Daredevil scowled. "Not only do they act as both close and long-range weapons, and whenever I hit something with them, they make a very vibrant sound that bounces off of everything, and gives me a complete image of my surroundings."

"So they're really loud sticks," Hatsume said, entirely unimpressed. "You know what else makes a really loud sound that bounces off everything. Guns. How about we use Guns?"

"No." Daredevil denied outright. "I want to use my Batons."

"...Fine. But I'm making some modifications." Hatsume sighed. "I can't let someone wearing my gear go around with a couple basic sticks, just think of my reputation!"

Daredevil looked at Izuku with an eyebrow raised. "You put up with this?"

"She's not that bad," Izuku assured him. "Plus she is REALLY good at making gear."

"I'll have your gear done in a couple of days," Hatsume said. "Give or take. I'll call you when it's done, so in the meantime, don't bother me unless it's important."

"What do you want for payment?" Daredevil asked. "Because I'm on a budget."

"Don't need your money, you can pay me back by doing some good work out there and making sure everyone knows where you get your gear," Hatsume said.

"In it for the fame huh. Well, that works for me at least." Daredevil said as he turned to leave. "Spider-Man, come on. We've got somewhere to be."

"Oh, do we? Wish you'd have told me that earlier." Izuku said sarcastically as they exited Nikku's office. "What if I made plans?"

Atop a tall skyscraper, known as Shigoto Tower, was a private garden that looked down upon the entire city.

And sitting in that garden, was a fat man in a white suit. Mr Shigoto. And sitting across from him, were ninjas from the Hand.

"With the Kingpin gone, that means there's now a hole that needs to be filled." Mr. Shigoto explained. "And I want to be the one to fill that hole. But there's a lot of other schmucks, who want to do the same thing. I got a whole list of them. I think you understand what I want."

He was about to hand over the list of names to the ninjas when suddenly, the note was swiped from Mr. Shigoto's hand and started floating in the air.

"So these guys wanna take Kingpin's place," Izuku said as he decloaked right in front of them. "Thanks, this'll be a big help! Can't let you go killing them though."

"Spider-Man!" Shouted Mr Shigoto in shock, before a baton was pressed against his throat by Daredevil. "Oh no, and you're…who are you?"

"I'm your worst nightmare," Daredevil said.

Oh wow, he actually said that with a straight face. Izuku thought, looking at Daredevil in surprise.

"Get him!" Shouted the Hand ninja's as they pulled out their weapons.

They charged at him. About a dozen ninjas are all ready to give their all to take him down.

Five seconds later, they were all unconscious on the ground.

"Alright, now that that's taken care of, let's get this over with shall we?" Izuku asked while dusting his hands.

"How did you get in contact with the Hand?!" Daredevil asked, in an extremely demanding voice. That promised trouble if he didn't get what he wanted.

"I'll tell you! I'll tell you! Just don't hurt me!" Mr. Shigoto begged, crying as Daredevil dug his baton into his neck.

And then Izuku's spider-sense went off.

Someone was going to burst through the door to the roof and start shooting at them. Someone else was going to pop out of one of the bushes and try to tackle him. And lastly, someone was going to shoot something at Shigoto's head and kill him.

"Shit," Daredevil swore. Sensing everything Izuku sensed, as well as someone sneaking up behind him.

Izuku shot a web as Shigoto, and grabbed him, just getting him out of the way in time, as a throwing dark flew by at the speed of a bullet.

Daredevil quickly turned around and used his baton to parry a sword strike that had been about to cleave into his head.

The attacker was a man in a peculiar outfit. Mostly dark blue, with some white parts. Namely his boots and gloves, and white cape and cowl. He wore a skull mask that completely covered his face and looked to be carrying many, many weapons. Including a sword and shield, both of which he was currently holding.

BANG!

But Izuku had little time to focus on that, as suddenly the door was kicked open, by a man in a black and red costume, who also looked armed to the teeth, and was holding two large machine guns.

"Time to make the Chimichangas!" The man in red shouted, before opening fire on both Daredevil and Spider-Man, as well as the sword-wielding villain. Forcing them to all jump away to dodge the bullets.

As Izuku jumped near one of the bushes, a large man jumped out of the bushes, raising both his hands up, covering them in strange yellow energy, as he was about to slam them down on Spider-Man.

Izuku jumped up, as the man pounded the ground where they had been standing, making an explosion of energy that cracked the floor of the garden.

The man was wearing an all-black military armored suit and mask. Both of which had white paint on them. Depicting a skull and crossbones.

But he didn't have any time to focus on him, because his spider-sense just gave him the heads up that six more bullet-like projectiles would be headed his way.

Izuku webbed the ground and pulled himself down, and the bullets missed as a result.

Then Izuku shot a web line at the red-suited man, and forcefully tossed him aside, before rushing over to the doorway.

"Go! But don't think you're off the hook!" Izuku told him as he ushered that fat man down the stairs. "Run!"

Izuku felt his spider sense go off again, and he turned around and shot two web shots at the guns the red-suited man was aiming at him, knocking them out of his hands and sticking them to the ground.

"Should have seen that coming." The man said as he jumped up, and pulled out two pistols. "Deadpool vs Spider-Man. A tale as old as 2006…I think. Looking through comic timelines is absolutely bi-"

Before Deadpool could finish, Izuku rushed over and punched Deadpool in the stomach.

"Gah! Ohh!? Pah!" Deadpool cried out as Izuku landed a flurry of blows on his stomach, chest, and face.

Deadpool fell to the floor. "Ow."

Izuku webbed him to the ground. "Alright, be a good criminal, while I take care of-"

6 more bullets coming.

Izuku jumped out of the way before he got hit. "That! I'm going to take care of that!"

"Not on my watch!" Shouted the burly villain who shot blasts of energy out of his fist at Izuku, which he easily dodged.

Izuku was about to run over to attack him, but then he sensed it.

More bullets coming from the mysterious sniper.

A lot more bullets. Hitting a lot of different places.

Like all around him. At over a dozen angles.

Izuku jumped backward a great distance away from the roof, then webbed himself onto the side of the building. Out of range of the bullets. Okay. Who the hell is that? How can he shoot so many bullets at once? Maybe he can control guns? Whatever it is, I need to get close to him.

Just as he was about to start moving, his spider-sense went off again.

But not for him.

Back on the roof, Daredevil was still fighting against the skull-faced villain.

He tries to slam his baton down on him, but the villain parries it with the shield, which left Daredevil open to a kick to the stomach that made him fall onto his back.

"Grrr." Daredevil quickly flipped back, gaining some distance from the villain. "I know you. Taskmaster. And your friends must be the mercenaries Crossbones and Deadpool. To think the hand actually hired you. Seeing Spider-Man and me teaming up must have come as a shock."

"They couldn't care less about you. Spider-Man on the other hand, elicits some concern." Taskmaster said. "Which is why we decided to put all our differences aside, just this once."

"HA!" Crossbones punched the ground, causing it to crumble around Daredevil.

The older vigilante was forced to jump up to avoid falling through the floor, but in the air, he was far more vulnerable.

And Deadpool took advantage of that and aimed his guns at him. "Night night!"

Deadpool was just about to pull the trigger when suddenly a web line hit Daredevil and pulled him away. "Huh?"

BANG! BANG! BANG!

"Agh!" Daredevil cried, as he was riddled with the bullets that the sniper had meant to hit Daredevil, hitting his head, chest, and legs.

"Aw crap!" Izuku shouted out after seeing Deadpool get shot in very lethal areas. "No!"

"Don't worry about him," Daredevil said, getting back to his feet.

"Ow!" Deadpool whined, as the bullet holes started to close up. "Hey, Bullseye! Wanna lighten up on the friendly fire!"

"Oh thank goodness." Izuku breathed a sigh of relief. "Although that does make things harder for us. "Also how did he get out of my webbing!?"

"Off-screen magic!" Deadpool said as he pointed his guns toward them.

Crossbones aimed his fist at them, and even Taskmaster pulled out a gun and aimed it at them.

I could go on the assault, but that'll leave Daredevil exposed. Izuku thought.

"The heroes have noticed us. We need to get out of here." Daredevil told him. "I can hear them coming. Sounds like Hawks."

"Hawks? Ah, crap!" Crossbones shouted, as all the mercs immediately put away their weapons, and started running.

"Welp see ya later!" Deadpool said as he jumped off the side of the building.

"Next time you won't get so lucky!" Crossbones said as he ran to the edge of the roof, and then shot more energy out of his fist, causing him to bust off the roof.

"You fought Daredevil well. But you won't beat me. Ever." Taskmaster said, as he pulled out a grappling hook, and then jumped off the roof.

"Alright, DD, hold on!" Izuku grabbed Daredevil and then jumped off the opposite side of the roof before swinging away.

The two made it back to Daredevil's apartment, and the two decided to have a discussion.

"Taskmaster, Bullseye, Deadpool, and Crossbones," Izuku said. "We know Deadpool has a regeneration quirk. And Crossbones can shoot energy blasts. I didn't feel any heat from that blast, so if I had to guess, it's probably pure kinetic energy he's wielding."

"I've heard about Taskmaster and Bullseye through rumors," Daredevil added. "Taskmaster is said to be able to copy anything he's seen. Anything that's not quirk related that is. Well, I've heard he can copy certain quirks with gadgets though. Bullseye is a sharpshooter. But he's never used a gun. Apparently, he just throws bullets at people. But the bullets still act like they've been shot from a gun."

"So that explains why he was able to get that kind of range. He was just throwing bullets at me." Izuku realized.

"Also, you forgot to mention the Hand ninjas." Daredevil pointed out. "They may not be a threat to you, but they're a problem for me."

"Yeah, we need to talk about that," Izuku said. "Because it's really hard to fight these guys, and protect you at the same time."

"I don't need protection." Daredevil rebuffed sternly.

"If I didn't pull you away before you got shot, you would have died." Izuku pointed out. "I know this, for a fact. Normally I don't like to tell people this, but I have something called Spider-Sense. It's a foresight-based power that tells me whenever I, or someone else, is going to get hurt or killed. So if you were going to get out of that situation on your own, then it wouldn't have gone off."

"Tch." Daredevil wanted to argue so bad, but he really didn't have an argument against that. "So you're saying I'm not strong enough for this?"

"Well, yeah." Izuku sighed. "That is what I'm saying. Your quirk can only do so much, if you don't have a way to deal with what's around you. Listen, I'm not telling you how to live your life, but why don't you just stick to crimes that are a bit less…dangerous."

"You think I could?!" Daredevil asked sharply, glaring at Izuku. "You said your spider sense alerts you when people are hurt. So I'm assuming you must be able to see when crimes are happening?"

"Yeah, pretty much," Izuku said.

"My quirk does that too. And it's been doing that ever since I was five." Daredevil explained. "Ever since then, I've been forced to hear every crime, every terrible act, and misdeed that goes on within a few miles of me. And for so long, the best I could do was tell someone else about it, and hope they did something about it. Nine times out of ten. They didn't. I thought maybe that one day, I could become a hero, and take care of it myself, but I could never get past the entrance exams. I was too weak. And so I spend years more. Just listening, listening to terrible things happening around me, and not doing anything about it. Until I just couldn't take it anymore. For the sake of my own sanity, I had to help them. No matter what. …I can't just ignore when a crime is happening. I need to see it through. Otherwise, it'll haunt me, for the rest of my life."

"Oh…" Izuku was left speechless. He never really thought about it like that.

Izuku didn't have his spider-sense for long before he officially became Spider-Man. But imagine having it for his entire life. And by law being forced to ignore when crimes were happening…that sounded like hell.

And this begged the question. If Izuku didn't have the rest of his powers. Just his spider-sense. Would he still be risking his life like this?

Yes. Without a doubt, yes. Izuku knew himself well enough to know he would rather shoot himself than knowingly let someone get hurt.

So he was kinda being a big hypocrite here.

"Ok…I'm sorry. I get it." Izuku sighed. "Still, we need to make sure we're not just throwing your life away. We need a plan."

Suddenly, Izuku's Spider-Sense went off.

What!? How!? No, I need to focus! There's no time! Izuku suddenly grabbed Daredevil, and threw him through the door, outside of the apartment.

KABOOM!

Okay, there is a lot to talk about here.

First of all, let's talk about Crossbones. Why can he shoot lasers?

Well apparently, Crossbones had inhuman powers for a little bit, and could lasers. That's why.

I had to give him something, ok?

Now let's address the elephant in the room. You may have noticed that Daredevil in this arc comes across as kind of weak. In fact, it's kind of stated that he's weak, in this very chapter.

Now, first of all, I don't want to make it seem like I think Daredevil is lame, or like I'm making fun of him.

But factually speaking, Daredevil, even in the comics. Isn't all that strong. In comparison to most other heroes.

Daredevil's powers offer him a lot of advantages in combat, but at the same time, they don't give him any PHYSICAL advantages.

In terms of physical abilities, Daredevil basically has no powers. And what's worse, he doesn't have any high tech to make up for that. He has a pair of sticks and martial arts. And he's not even close to the best martial artist in Marvel either, nor can he use any martial arts magic.

Why do you think Daredevil only has 1 good original villain? The rest are freaking Stilt-Man, LeapFrog, and Matador. It's because they can't make Daredevil's villains too strong or cool, because they'll beat the shit out of Daredevil. Why do you think most of the time, he's fighting powerless goons

His arch villain Bullseye is just Hawkeye without his bow or bullshit arrows. So basically nerfed Hawkeye.

If Spider-Man were to fight Daredevil, it would be like fighting a statue of paper mache. He's just not fast, strong, or tough enough to even do anything.

Which makes him a perfect handicap for Izuku in this arc. That way I can make characters like Bullseye, Deadpool, Crossbones, and Taskmaster, actually threatening.

Because as cool as all of those characters are, they suffer from the same issue.

Yeah, Bullseye has perfect aim. Too bad Izuku can see the future and knows exactly where all his shots are going to land, and also he's way, way faster than him, and also he has air mobility. And also he can turn invisible.

Deadpool can't die…ok. Izuku can just web him up, and that's it. I had to bullshit a way for Deadpool to get out of those webs otherwise it would just be the end for him there.

Taskmaster can copy any move. Too bad he can't copy super speed and strength.

Crossbones could do some real damage if he hit Izuku…but that's a big if.

If it was just Izuku by himself, he would have defeated all four of them, right there and then. But since Daredevil is there, he acts as an additional thing Izuku has to look out for.

Is that kind of disrespectful? Little bit. But I do plan on giving Daredevil something cool to do later in the arc to make up for it.

Anyway, that's all for now. Please review and have a nice day.
